Gino 25-F, Designated Inventor: Gianfranco Atzeri, Deposited on............N. 1.....? .9P..7 U 0 0 0 Q 0 5 DESCRIPTION The present industrial invention concerns a semi-automatic retractable bollard. The retractable bollards known to date are characterized by two positions: the first, closed, or retracted to ground level, and the second, open, in which the bollard protrudes from the ground and therefore allows the mooring of the vessel. The above-mentioned bollard must be moved directly by the operator, both for the execution of the descent movement, where foot pressure is sufficient, and for the ascent, the latter performed thanks to the manual traction of the operator himself, with the inconvenience that he does not can maintain an upright position and has his hands busy during docking. The invention overcomes this problem by providing for the opening and closing of the bollard in both cases by means of a light pressure applied by the operator, if desired with the foot, therefore the operator himself can maintain an upright position and have his hands free during the mooring phase. In an advantageous implementation of the invention, the movement of the bollard and the stability in the open and closed position are guaranteed by a mechanical device, hidden in the lower part of the base of the bollard itself. The invention will now be explained with reference to the attached drawings showing an exemplary embodiment of the semi-automatic retractable bollard according to the invention: Figure 1 is a front elevation of the complete bollard, in the open position A) and in the closed position B) and Figure 2 is a side elevation of the bollard in the same two positions. Figure 3 shows the body of the bollard in a partially sectioned frontal section, it includes the following elements: J. Lid composed of upper crosspiece and vertical cylinders K. Base and sliding container cylinders L. Internal cam mechanism, device that transforms a rotary motion into an alternative rectilinear motion, composed of a "cam jacket". "sliding" and from a rod with a pin equipped with a pin called "rotor group". M. Push-back springs. The cam, in its own rotary motion, encounters points, called "dead points", corresponding to a static position, in which rotation and vertical movement are interrupted. In this position, the pin of the rotor group is accommodated in a curved point of the path, such as not to favor further movement of the pin itself; it is therefore in a stable equilibrium position and, consequently, the bollard is blocked in the open position, or vice versa closed: in this case the vertical cylinders J. are entirely outside the base K. and the springs M. are compressed (open position A), or vice versa, the vertical cylinders J. are entirely contained in the base and the springs are extended (closed position B). A light pressure applied on the cover J, determines a mechanical action which, combined with the pushing action of the springs, is able to move the pin on the pin and make it rotate, moving along the path traced in the jacket inside the cam itself; the pin, subsequently, following the prepared track will reposition itself in another "dead point", determining again a position of stable equilibrium, however opposite to the starting one... and so on with an endless cycle. The particular "double inclined hump" shape of the dead point in the cam path, combined with the induced movement of the springs, invite the pin, via its pin, to always rotate in the same direction, returning to the starting point only after a complete 360° rotation. In practice, the details of execution may however vary without departing from the scope of the invention and therefore from the domain of the invention patent.

Claims

CLAIMS 1. Semi-automatic retractable bollard, characterised by the fact that opening and closing occurs with a simple pressure applied to a part of the bollard itself.

Retractable bollard according to claim 1, characterised in that its body comprises: a cover composed of an upper crosspiece with vertical cylinders, a base with sliding container cylinders, an internal cam mechanism, composed of a "sliding jacket" and a rod with a pin equipped with a pin and, finally, the push-back springs.
