Description

TITLE: “PROCEDURE FOR THE THREE-DIMENSIONAL DECORATION OF A CONTAINER, ESPECIALLY FOR COSMETIC PRODUCTS, AND CONTAINER MADE USING THIS PROCEDURE” *** 5 DESCRIPTION Technical sector The present invention relates to a process for the three-dimensional decoration of a container, in especially for cosmetic products, and to a container 10 made using this process. Technological background There are known decoration procedures in the sector of containers, particularly for cosmetic products. However, these types of procedures and containers 15 suffer from some drawbacks which it is desirable to address remedy. Summary of the invention An object of the present invention is to create a process and a container that are 20 improved type and able to solve some inconveniences compared to the prior art. In particular, thanks to the present invention, it is provided high quality custom decoration on containers, such as glass or plastic, in particular 25 intended to accommodate cosmetic products. According to the present invention, this and other objects are achieved through a process and a container having the technical characteristics listed in the annexes independent claims. 30 It is to be understood that the attached claims are an integral part of the technical teachings provided here in the detailed description that follows regarding GV [A6305] to the present invention. In particular, in the attached dependent claims are defined as some forms of preferred embodiments of the present invention which include optional technical features. 5 Additional features and benefits of this invention will appear clear from the detailed description which follows, given purely as an example and not restrictive, with particular reference to drawings attachments, summarized below. 10 Brief description of the drawings Figure 1 is a perspective view of a container made of glass or plastic, especially intended for to accommodate a cosmetic product inside it. The container is represented in a step of a process 15 implemented according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention. Figures 2 and 3 are a view respectively perspective and front elevation of the container shown in figure 1, but represented in another step 20 of the proceedings. Figures 4 to 7 schematically represent a sequence of steps of a procedure implemented according to a exemplary embodiment of this invention, in particular with reference to the container 25 shown in the previous figures. In more detail, in the above figures, the container is shown in section transversely through a substantially plane perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of that container. For completeness, a list is given below 30 of the alphanumeric references used to identify parts, elements and components illustrated in the drawings above summarized, together with their name in the language GV [A6305] Italian and its English translation. 10. Container – Container 12. Outer surface 13. Lateral wall 5 14. Bottom - Bottom 15. Hood – Cap 16. Decoration layer – Decoration layer P. Primer layer – Primer layer V. Fixative paint layer 10 Detailed description of the invention With particular reference to figures 1 to 3, it is indicated as a whole with 10 a container intended to accommodate a cosmetic product inside, but which It may also be suitable to receive other internal components 15 types of products – for example also medicines and drinks, such as wines and spirits. As will be described in more detail detail in the following container 10 is shown during different steps of a procedure performed according to a exemplary form of implementation of this 20 invention. In the form of implementation illustrated and with reference in particular in figure 4, the procedure includes a step a), in which it is planned to make available a container 10 intended to be decorated. The container 25 10 can be achieved by any of the various methods which are known in themselves in the packaging sector and which are not They will therefore be described in detail below. In particular, the container 10 can be made of glass or plastic. By way of non-limiting example, as far as 30 concerns plastic, the material that makes the container can be PP, PE, PA, PET, ABS, SAN, polycarbonates ETC and elastomers. GV [A6305] By way of non-limiting example, as also visible in figures 1 to 3, the container 10 has a external surface 12, in particular defined by a bottom 14 and a side wall 13 that extends perimeter 5 from the bottom 14, so as to delimit a cavity intended to accommodate – for example – a cosmetic product. In particular, container 10 also comprises an upper opening or mouth (not visible in the drawings) – which in the illustrated example is repeatably 10 openable and closeable by a closing element such as a lid or cap indicated with 15. In the drawings the container 10 is illustrated substantially in shape cylindrical having a circular cross-section (and in which has a narrow neck to which the hood 15 is applied 15 – for example, by screwing) and a longitudinal axis; However, as is clear to a technician in the sector, the container 10 can have different shapes (for example, prismatic and / or parallelepiped). Furthermore, the container 10 can be made in one piece or 20 consisting of a plurality of distinct components which are assembled together. According to the embodiment illustrated, with Referring to Figure 5, the procedure also includes a step b) in which it is planned to apply a layer of 25 primers P to one part to be decorated – for example, on the wall side 13 – of the external surface 12 of the container 10. The primer layer P is made of a substance that It is applied to the part to be decorated in such a way as to make it more uniform and smooth and therefore prepare it for the step 30th of the procedure. In the embodiment illustrated, in step b) the primer layer P is shown applied to the entire portion GV [A6305] side 13 (which therefore coincides with the part to be decorated mentioned above). However, the primer layer P can also be applied to only a portion of the sidewall 13. Alternatively, the part of the surface to be decorated 5 external 12 can also be located in different portions from the side wall 13. Preferably, the application of the primer layer P occurs through direct spraying towards the part to be decorate, especially on the entire side wall 13. 10 In particular, the primer layer P can be of single-component or two-component type, of acrylic nature or polyurethane, preferably in solution with water (or in alternative in solution with other types of solvents). According to the embodiment illustrated, the 15 The procedure also includes a step c) which provides for perform a 3D print of a 16 layer decoration on at least a portion of the primer layer P. In the drawings the decoration 16 has, for example, a shape essentially annular. However, as is clear to a 20 person expert in the field, the decoration 16 has a look three-dimensional which can be defined in a Fully customized. The 16th decoration layer can be applied using any of several methods known in the 3D printing industry and therefore 25 will not be described below. In particular, the decoration layer 16 can include any resin and photopolymer materials (photosensitive) usable for photopolymer 3D printing or any plastic polymer and / or derivatives thereof 30 sintering of plastic or metal, glass or ceramic. Optionally the decoration layer material 16 may include deposits of added materials, such as GV [A6305] rock powders or plant fibres and elastomers According to the embodiment illustrated, the The procedure also includes a step d) which provides for to apply a layer of fixative varnish V on the layer 5 of decoration 16 and, preferably, also on at least one portion of the primer layer P (which is not covered by the state of decoration 16). By applying the paint layer fixative V provides improved chemical resistance and 10 mechanics of the combination of the four layers that include, from inside out: - the part to be decorated (in particular, the side wall 13) of the external surface 12 of the container 10, - primer layer P, 15 - decoration state 16, and - layer of fixative varnish V. Preferably in step d) the paint layer Fixative V is applied by spraying directly towards the decoration layer 16 and, possibly, also on the 20 the aforementioned portion of the primer layer P Preferably, the fixative varnish layer V can be of a single-component or two-component type, of a natural nature acrylic or polyurethane, preferably in solution with water (or alternatively in solution with other types 25 of solvents). Optionally, the fixative varnish layer V may also include among its components a finishing substance for UV drying, so that speed up the drying of the primer layer V after its application. 30 Figures 2 and 3 represent the container 10 at end of the procedure carried out according to the form of illustrated implementation, in which the decoration 16 is visible GV [A6305] applied on a portion of the side wall 13 of the external surface 12. Naturally, without prejudice to the principle of the invention, the embodiments and the details of 5 realizations may be widely varied compared to what is described and illustrated purely by way of example does not limiting, without however going beyond the scope of the invention as defined in the appended claims. 10 / GV GV [A6305]
