Description

DESCRIPTION Attached to a patent application for an INDUSTRIAL INVENTION having by title “Fluid dispensing dispenser and safety clip” On behalf of: APTAR ITALIA SpA Via Po, 49 - Sambuceto Industrial Area 66020 SAN GIOVANNI TEATINO CH Inventors: Fabrizio Camplone, Marco Zavarella Agents: Eng. Paolo Bellomia (registered with 695BM) and Eng. Christian Bilotta (registered in 1887 B) domiciled at Bugnion SpA in Rome, Via Sallustiana n. 15 ******* The present invention relates to a dispenser for dispensing a fluid, i.e. a dosing device that can be applied to the neck of a bottle to dispense the fluid contained therein. This invention relates to also a safety clip for the aforementioned type of dispenser. 5 In other words, dispensers are commonly used to dispense some liquid, such as soap (or other products not explicitly mentioned below). This liquid is contained in a bottle with which the dispenser is associated by means of appropriate connection means. As is known in the relevant art of the present invention, it is 10 strongly felt the need to find specific solutions to avoid that the dispensers are damaged during transport, and above all, preserve the integrity of the contents of the bottle. In particular, in the field of relevance of the present invention, the following is known: production of dispensers supplied with the dispenser button in position 15 raised (rest), often also equipped with a mechanism, which can be operated by rotating the button itself, which allows you to block the dispenser in this position, avoiding unexpected operation which could promote accidental product leakage; these dispensers are defined as up-locking type (locking in the high position). Alternatively, there may be dispensers that come with the dispenser button in the full stroke position, also equipped with a locking mechanism which can also be operated in this case by rotation of the dispenser button; these dispensers are indicated with 5 the expression down-locking (low-closing). The latter require so a combination of actuation and rotation of the head of dispensing to activate the locking mechanism. Down-locking dispensers tend to be more robust and less exposed to damage (since the dispensing head is at least partially 10 retracted with respect to the dispenser ring, in the locked position) but require a "disposable" drive. For this reason, users finalists prefer to purchase up-locking dispensers. In the field of relevance of the present invention, it is therefore strongly felt the need to strengthen the dispensers, especially the up-type ones 15 locking. It is known, for example, the use of safety clips placed between the head of dispensing and the ring so as to interfere with the head of dispensing by locking it in the raised position. These safety clips can be applied either in addition to the locking mechanism, 20 to strengthen the dispenser against unexpected mechanical stresses (shocks, pressures from superimposed loads, etc.), which in place of the same. Structurally, the safety clip typically features a body with a C-section sleeve, configured to embrace, in use, at least 25 partially the central portion of the dispensing head. In the specific, the safety clip has a top surface of counter, configured to strike against a shoulder bottom of the dispensing head, and a lower contact surface configured to enter the strike with a higher shoulder of the 30 ring. The Applicant believes that, although well operable, the above system described has some structural and functional disadvantages that make it improvable. The Applicant has in fact observed that the safety clips are subject to 5 accidental disassembly due to transport stress considerable, such as those that can occur especially in shipping, especially e-commerce. The Applicant further observed that the safety clips are not in able to guarantee the evidence of tampering and / or pre-use of the 10 dispensers. In this context, the technical task of the present invention is therefore that of making available a dispenser for dispensing a fluid and a safety clip for the above type of dispenser that are free from the drawbacks present in the prior art. 15 The aim of the present invention is therefore to make available a dispenser for dispensing a fluid and a safety clip for the the aforementioned type of dispenser which guarantees protection structural, especially of the dispensing head, during transport. A further aim of the present invention is to provide 20 arrangement of a dispenser for dispensing a fluid and a clip of safety for the aforementioned type of dispensers which guarantee the tamper proof check. The specified technical task and the specified purposes are essentially achieved by a dispenser in accordance with what is claimed in the 25 independent claim 1 and / or in one of the claims thereof employees. Features and advantages of the present invention will appear clearer from the indicative, and therefore non-limiting, description of a dispenser in accordance with the present invention and a clip 30 safety for the aforementioned type of dispenser. This description will be presented below with reference to the united drawings provided for indicative purposes only and therefore not limiting, in which: - Figure 1 shows a preferred embodiment of a dispenser in a supply configuration, in accordance with the present invention; 5 - Figure 2 shows a side sectional view of the shape of construction of the dispenser in figure 1; - Figure 3 shows a perspective view of a component of the dispenser of figure 1; - Figures 4A-4C show respective perspective views of one form of 10 preferred embodiment of a further component of the dispenser of figure 1; - figures 5A-5B show two possible embodiments of the component of figures 4A-4C; - Figure 6 illustrates an alternative embodiment of the component of figures 4A-4C. 15 In accordance with the attached figures, with the numerical reference 1 it was indicated a dispenser for dispensing a fluid, made of material plastic. In accordance with the generality of the present invention, with the term “dispenser” is intended to indicate a generic dispenser for the dispensing of 20 fluid, applicable to a bottle. This dispenser 1 can be regardless of the type that provides for it or does not provide for it dispensing head locking mechanism. For illustrative purposes only (therefore not limiting), in the continuation of the This description will describe an up-locking type dispenser 1. 25 We recall however that the inventive concept underlying this invention The patent application can be extended to any type of dispenser. Dispenser 1 is made of plastic material to simplify its use. recycling. Preferably, dispenser 1 is made of a plastic material belonging to the polyolefin family or in a plastic material 30 compostable. As visible in figures 1 and 2, the dispenser 1 comprises a dispensing apparatus suction and pumping 2, insertable into a bottle and configured for draw a fluid from the bottle through a suction tube 3 connected below to the suction and pumping apparatus 2. 5 In other words, the suction and pumping apparatus 2 is responsible for both of the suction of the fluid from the bottle and of the pumping of the same outwards. The suction and pumping apparatus 2 is known in the art and can be designed and manufactured in different ways, in accordance with the generality 10 of the invention. The dispenser 1 comprises a ring nut 9 connected or connectable to the neck of the bottle and associated with the suction and pumping apparatus 2. The ring 9 it is configured to stably constrain the suction apparatus and pumping 2 to the bottle. 15 The dispenser 1 therefore comprises a dispensing head 50, slidingly coupled to the ring nut 9. The dispensing head 50 comprises a central portion 51 connected to an upper portion of the suction and pumping apparatus 2 to control its operation and a dispensing spout 52 suitable for dispensing the fluid contained in the 20 bottle, when the dispensing head 50 is pressed by a user between a raised position and a lowered position. The suction and pumping apparatus 2 also comprises elastic means 11 to bring the dispenser 1 back to a rest condition in which the head of 50 disbursement is raised. 25 A preferred embodiment will be described below, exemplary and therefore not limiting, of dispenser 1. It is evident that the The embodiment of the dispenser 1 described is only one of the possible embodiments possible. Furthermore, the specific structure and the The optional components described are essentially just one possible option. 30 embodiment of the dispenser 1. The dispenser 1 in question is a reciprocating volumetric pump consisting of a cylindrical and hollow containment body 20 that can be inserted into a bottle, the which is not illustrated. The containment body 20 comprises a lower orifice for the 5 fluid intake from the bottle and a 4 ball inlet valve. The dispenser 1 comprises a suction tube 3 connected at the bottom to the containment body 20. The dispenser 1 comprises a ring nut 9 connected or connectable to the neck of the bottle and associated with the containment body 20. In particular, the ring 9 10 is equipped with a thread or undercut for attachment or any type of solution for connection to the bottle. The containment body 20 has a tubular appendage at the bottom for attach the suction tube 3 and a housing for the ball, which acts as an inlet valve 4, with retention appendages 15 which have the 15 function of holding the inlet valve 4 ball in its area of work. The 4 ball inlet valve lifts up allowing entry of the liquid and returns to the sealing position preventing reverse flow. The dispenser 1 comprises, above the inlet ball valve 4, a dosing chamber 10 defined in a central portion of the body of 20 containment 20. Preferably but not limited to, the containment body 20 features a compensation hole 34 configured to define a air compensation path. The dispenser 1 also includes a sliding piston 6 which limits 25 above the dosing chamber 10. The piston 6 slides inside the containment body 20 between a raised position and a lowered position. The piston 6 is attached to a hollow stem 5, on which it can slide limitedly, blocked at the bottom by a tip 7, which is at its 30 times attached at the bottom to the hollow stem 5 by means of a system of undercuts. Specifically, the dispenser 1 comprises an axially hollow stem 5 sliding inside the containment body 20 and featuring a flange that delimits an upper portion of the same. The tip 7 is placed below the hollow stem 5, and is equipped with a 5 system of undercuts and also of a conical surface and a flange with a base wide enough to ensure stable positioning during assembly. The tip 7 is configured to transfer the liquid through its own cavity 23. product to be dispensed present inside the dosing chamber 10. 10 The sliding of the piston 6 on the hollow stem 5 allows the cavity to open 23 of the tip 7, thus creating a delivery valve that opens when the piston 6 and the hollow rod 5 slide downwards (reducing the volume of the dosing chamber 10 and compressing the liquid) and closes during the ascent stroke (expanding the volume of the chamber 15 dosage 10). In detail, during the dosing stroke, the hollow stem 5 moves towards the lower than the piston 6 by opening the cavity 23 of the tip 7 and placing in fluid communication the dosing chamber 10 and the internal channel of the hollow stem 5, while during the suction stroke, upwards, the 20 piston 6 lowers closing the cavity 23 of the tip 7 and preventing the reverse flow of the liquid. Piston 6 has a substantially annular shape with a cylindrical portion internal which is positioned around the hollow stem 5 and the tip 7, a lip external circumferential seal that seals against the internal walls of the body 25 containment 20, and a flange connecting the internal cylindrical portion with the external circumferential lip. Finally, the piston 6 comprises a shoulder which performs the double function of sealing the tip 7 at the top during suction and limit the stroke of the piston 6 with respect to the hollow rod 5, during 30 the drive. The hollow stem 5 is connected at the top to a dispensing head 50 by means of an undercut system equipped with anti-rotation ribs. The dispensing head 50 is illustrated for illustrative purposes in Figure 3. The dispensing head 50 of the dispenser 1 has a central portion 5 51 connected to an upper portion of the hollow stem 5 to control the actuation of the piston 6. The central portion 51 has a shape essentially tubular. The dispensing head 50 also features a dispensing spout 52 suitable for dispensing the fluid contained in the bottle. The spout of 10 delivery 52 is protruding radially away from the portion central 51. The dispensing head 50 preferably has a shoulder 53. Preferably, the shoulder 53 develops radially away from at least partially around the central portion 51 of the head of 15 disbursement 50. The lower surface 52a of the dispensing spout 52 and the surface lower 53a of shoulder 53 together define a surface lower 54 of the dispensing head 50, as will be clearer in the continuation of this description. 20 The dispensing head 50 is pressable by a user between a position raised and a lowered position. The dispenser 1 also comprises a retaining ring 14 integral with the body of containment 20 and inserted into the same to house and guide the stem cable 5 in its travel inside the containment body 20. 25 The retaining ring 14, hooked inside the containment body 20 through a system of undercuts 31 and appropriate anti-ribbing ribs rotation 18 present on the containment body 20, closes at the top the containment body 20, leaving a passage hole through the which the hollow stem 5 slides through. 30 Above the seat where the retaining ring 14 fits, the body of containment 20 has a flange 19 which rests on the neck of the bottle via a sealing gasket 8, and to which the ring 9. According to one possible embodiment, the retaining ring 14 defines a non-operational closed, or stop, position in which the head 5 of dispensing 50 of the dispenser cannot be operated, and a position operational work in which the dispensing head 50, and with it all the sliding elements, can move from a raised position to a a lowered end-of-travel position. The retaining ring 14 is provided with arc-shaped extensions 32 which, 10 together with some ribs placed on the dispensing head 50, make the stop system, according to a typology of the known art not described in detail because it is not relevant to the purposes of this invention. A spring is placed between the retaining ring 14 and the flange of the hollow stem recall 11 which has the function of returning the dispenser 1 to the position 15 raised ascent. The containment body 20, together with the retaining ring 14, the spring of recall 11, to the hollow stem 5, to the tip 7, to the piston 6 and to the ball 4, ultimately they constitute a suction apparatus or module and pumping to which the dispensing head 50 is connected, which allows it 20 the drive, the ring 9 and the gasket 8, which allow it to connection to the bottle, and the suction tube 3 which allows the suction of the product contained in the bottle from the bottom of the bottle. It is evident that the embodiment of the dispenser 1 described above is only one of the possible embodiments possible. In particular, in 25 In accordance with alternative embodiments, the dispenser 1 may not provide a locking mechanism at all. Furthermore, the specification The structure and optional components described are essentially only a possible embodiment of dispenser 1. Dispenser 1, in a dispenser 1 supply configuration itself, 30 includes a safety clip 100 placed between the dispensing head 50 and the ring 9 so as to interfere with the dispensing head 50 so as to lock it in the raised position. The term “supply configuration” refers to a condition of pre-use of the dispenser 1. Preferably, with the expression 5 “supply configuration” means that dispenser 1 is in a configuration prepared and suitable to be distributed or supplied to buyers or end users. This configuration is designed not only to ensure the integrity of the product during transport and shipping, but also to ensure that the liquid contained does not leak out 10 in the bottle, if dispenser 1 is already connected to the latter. Structurally, the 100 safety clip features a sleeve body 101 with a substantially “C”-shaped cross-section, configured to embrace, in use, at least partially the portion central 51 of the dispensing head 50. The sleeve body 101 has 15 an opening 103 suitable for allowing the application of the safety clip 100 on the 50 dispensing head. Advantageously, the safety clip 100 is elastically deformable so as to facilitate the application on the central portion 51 of the head of delivery 50. In other words, in the application phase, the sleeve body 20 101 deforms elastically (widening) in such a way as to accommodate the central portion 51 of the dispensing head 50 and, subsequently, returns to the original configuration, at least partially embracing the portion central 51 of the dispensing head 50. Preferably, the body a sleeve 101 is substantially counter-shaped to the central portion 25 51 of the dispensing head 50. Advantageously, in fact, the safety clip is made in the aforementioned plastic material. The sleeve body 101 has an upper contact surface 104, configured to strike against the aforementioned surface 30 lower 54 of the dispensing head 50 (defined by the spout of delivery 52 and, preferably, from the shoulder 53), and a surface lower contact surface 105, opposite the upper contact surface 104 and configured to enter the strike with an upper shoulder of the ring 9. Preferably, the sleeve body 101 of the safety clip 100 5 has a protruding portion 102, developing away from radial from the sleeve body 101 and at least partially counter-shaped to the lower surface 52a of the dispensing spout 52: in use, the protruding portion 102 is in contact with the spout of delivery 52. 10 In accordance with an aspect of the present invention, the head of dispensing device 50 and safety clip 100 have respective means of mutual anchoring 201a, 201b, 202a, 202b configured to prevent a mutual movement between the dispensing head 50 and the clip safety 100. Advantageously, the means of mutual anchoring 201a, 15 201b, 202a, 202b allow you to lock the safety clip 100 on the dispensing head 50, so as to prevent mutual movement of the two elements and, especially, the removal of the safety clip 100. In other words, the expression “reciprocal movement” means to mean both a removal of the safety clip 100 from the head of 20 dispensing 50 is a rotation of the safety clip 100 with respect to the dispensing head 50. Also, as is clear from this description, with the term "prevent" we mean that the means of mutual anchor 201a, 201b, 202a, 202b are configured to counteract and prevent accidental movement of the safety clip 100 25 compared to the 50 dispensing head. It is understood, of course, that the mutual anchoring means 201a, 201b, 202a, 202b are configured to be tamperable by a user following a movement voluntary release of the safety clip 100 with respect to the dispensing head 50. This feature is particularly advantageous when the body is 30 sleeve 101 of safety clip 100 has a portion protruding 102, at least partially shaped like the spout of delivery 52 and configured to be positioned underneath the dispensing spout 52 so as to offer support to it. Advantageously, in this way, the safety clip 100 (and in particularly the protruding portion 102) reduce the risk of 5 accidental damage to the dispensing head 50 (and, in particular, of the dispensing spout 52). Advantageously, furthermore, the mutual anchoring means 201a, 201b, 202a, 202b significantly reduce or eliminate possible detachments accidental release of the safety clip 100 from the dispensing head 50. 10 In accordance with an aspect of the present invention, the reciprocating means anchor 201a, 201b, 202a, 202b are of the type quick coupling. In other words, the means of mutual anchoring 201a, 201b, 202a, 202b cause a lock between the head of 50ml dispensing and 100ml safety clip. 15 Preferably, the mutual anchoring means 201a, 201b, 202a, 202b They are of the snap-on type. The term “quick coupling” refers to any type of connection designed to be connected or disconnected quickly, without the need to use special tools or perform 20 many complex operations. Furthermore, the expression “snap” specifically refers to a type quick coupling involving a locking mechanism snap fit. In a snap fit, components are joined together quickly and safely thanks to a mechanism that generates a 25 sound or tactile sensation when the connection is completed successfully. Typically, a component has some bumps or tabs that fit into corresponding slots on the other component with a jerky movement. In accordance with this embodiment, the means of mutual anchoring 30 201a, 201b, 202a, 202b include at least one male element 201a, 202a, made on the safety clip 100, and at least one respective female element 201b, 202b, made on the dispensing head 50. Preferably, the at least one male element 201a, 202a is made on the upper contact surface 104 of the sleeve body 101 5 while the at least one female element 201b, 202b is made on the lower surface 54 of the dispensing head 50. In accordance with one aspect, the mutual anchoring means 201a, 201b, 202a, 202b can be configured to become damaged upon a first detachment of the safety clip 100 from the dispensing head 50. 10 Advantageously, this feature allows the user to verify that dispenser 1 has not been previously used. In accordance with a particularly advantageous embodiment, the at least one male element 201a, 202a is a tab 205 elastically deformable while the at least one female element 201b, 15 202b is a respective receiving seat 206, at least partially shaped to the respective tab 205. Figures 4A-4C illustrate a preferred embodiment, exemplary and therefore not limiting of the safety clip 100. The Figures 5A and 5B show two possible embodiments of the 20 matching tabs. Preferably, the tabs 205 may have a coupling head 207 configured to facilitate the insertion of the tongue 205 itself into the respective receiving location 206 in accordance with a movement of the tab 205 along a “D” engagement direction and configured to prevent 25 or simply adjust the disengagement of the tab 205 from the respective receiving seat 206 in accordance with a movement of the tongue 205 along a disengagement direction, opposite to the engagement direction “D”. Specifically, the coupling head 207 of the tab 205 may have 30 a locking ramp configured to facilitate the insertion of the tab 205 in the respective receiving seat 206 and configured to enter the stop with a shoulder of the receiving seat 206 so as to prevent the accidental uncoupling, as illustrated in Figure 5B. Alternatively, as illustrated in Figure 5A, the coupling head 207 of the tab 205 features a rounded locking ramp so that the 5 decoupling of the tab 205 from its receiving seat 206 during the voluntary detachment phase of the safety clip 100 of the head of delivery 50 can be achieved by exploiting the deformation elasticity of the 205 tongue without causing it to break. Preferably, the coupling head 207 is configured asymmetrically, 10 to facilitate its insertion into the respective receiving seat 206 in accordance with the movement of the tab along the insertion direction “D”, and prevent its disengagement from the respective receiving site 206 in accordance with a movement of the tongue along a disengagement direction, opposite to the “D” insertion direction. 15 Preferably, furthermore, at least the insertion of the tab 205 in the respective receiving seat 206 is facilitated by an elastic deformation of the tongue. In this embodiment, the tabs 205 are developed substantially parallel to the direction of engagement “D”. In other 20 words, the 205 tabs develop substantially parallel to a plane parallel to the direction of engagement “D”. As shown in figure 5A, 5B, the tabs 205 have lines of weakening configured to facilitate the insertion of the tab 205 in the respective receiving location 206 and possibly to promote the 25 breakage of the tab 205 in a phase of voluntary detachment of the clip safety 100 from the dispensing head 50, at least in the form of embodiment illustrated in figure 5B, in which the coupling head 207 of the tab 205 has a locking ramp defining an invitation for facilitate coupling and a step to prevent uncoupling. 30 Preferably, regardless of the number of fins 205 present, they are arranged and / or oriented in such a way as to present the direction of graft “D” substantially parallel to an application direction “A” of the safety clip 100 on the dispensing head 50. Advantageously, in this way, during the application of the clip of safety 100 on the dispensing head 50, the coupling between the means of 5 mutual anchoring 201a, 201b, 202a, 202b occurs substantially simultaneously and automatically. Figure 6 shows a further embodiment of the tabs 205. This embodiment operates in a substantially identical manner to the tabs 205 of the embodiment of figures 4A-4C. However, 10 differs from the previous embodiment in that the tongue 205 develops substantially transversally to the direction of engagement “D”. Preferably, the mutual anchoring means 201a, 201b, 202a, 202b comprise a first tab 201a made on the portion 15 protuberant 102 and a respective first receiving seat 201b made on the lower surface 52a of the dispensing spout 52. In accordance with one aspect, the sleeve body 101 has a portion secondary protuberance 208, developing radially away from the sleeve body 101 in a portion angularly opposite to the 20 protruding portion 102. Preferably, the means of reciprocation anchor 201a, 201b, 202a, 202b include a second tab 202a made on this secondary protruding portion 208 and a respective second receiving seat 202b made on the lower surface 54 of the dispensing head 50, in particular on the lower surface 53a 25 of the shoulder 53, in a position such that, in use, it faces the second tab 202a. In accordance with alternative embodiments, the means of reciprocal anchor 201a, 201b, 202a, 202b may include further tabs and further respective receiving seats. In accordance with one aspect, the sleeve body 101 has a portion of grip 209, developing radially away from the body sleeve 101. Preferably, the gripping portion 209 extends in 5 radial departure from the sleeve body 101 in a portion angularly opposite to the opening 103 of the sleeve body 101 so that when applying the safety clip 100 on the head of delivery 50, the application direction “A” is substantially parallel to a straight line passing through the gripping portion 209 and 10 the main opening 103. Advantageously, this feature allows to grasp the gripping portion 209 and push the safety clip 100 on the central portion 51 of the dispensing head 50. Preferably, the gripping portion 209 is particularly advantageous in cases where the safety clip 100 is applied to the head of 15 dispensing 50 automatically, using a dedicated machine. The present invention also relates to the safety clip 100 for dispenser 1. In accordance with one aspect, the dispenser 1 may further feature means of mutual anchoring auxiliaries (not illustrated) made on the surface 20 lower 105 of the safety clip 100 and on the upper shoulder 9a of the ring nut 9. Preferably, the lower surface 105 of the clip security 100 features male elements while the upper shoulder 9a of the ring has female elements mutually shaped to the male elements made on the lower surface 25 105 of the safety clip 100. Advantageously, this feature further improves stability of the safety clip 100. The present invention achieves the intended purposes by eliminating the drawbacks highlighted by the prior art. 30 In this regard, it should first be noted that the means of mutual anchoring 201a, 201b, 202a, 202b as claimed and / or described permit stabilize the safety clip 100 on the dispensing head 50, so as to prevent mutual movement of the two elements. This feature is particularly advantageous when the body is sleeve 101 of safety clip 100 has a portion 5 protruding 102, at least partially shaped to the spout of delivery 52 and configured to be positioned underneath the dispensing spout 52 so as to offer support to it. Advantageously, in this way, the safety clip 100 (and in particularly the protruding portion 102) reduce the risk of 10 accidental damage to the dispensing head 50 (and, in particular, of the dispensing spout 52). Advantageously, furthermore, the mutual anchoring means 201a, 201b, 202a, 202b significantly reduce or eliminate possible detachments accidental release of the safety clip 100 from the dispensing head 50. 15 Advantageously, furthermore, the mutual anchoring means 201a, 201b, 202a, 202b, if configured to become irreversibly damaged on the first detachment of the safety clip 100 from the dispensing head 50, allow the end user to check whether dispenser 1 has been previously used.
