Description

DESCRIPTION Scope of application 5

[0001] The subject of this invention is a sail fixed shading. State of the art

[0002] As illustrated in figures 1 and 2, a sail fixed shading V (also called static in 10 (as opposed to a furling sail) includes a cover sheet T which in assembled condition is supported in position by R anchor rods.

[0003] In more detail, the cover sheet, usually polygonal in shape, it is anchored to poles 15 of support P and / or walls of buildings through the above tie rods R which, once hooked to the corners A of the cover sheet and put under tension, in turn they stretch the cloth itself.

[0004] This mounting method allows the sheet to 20 spread perfectly across its entire surface.

[0005] Unlike retractable shade sails Fixed shade sails are here to stay permanently in extended condition, exposed to the agents atmospheric. 25

[0006] To prevent the formation of ice in case of rain stagnant water in the center of the cover sheet, generally the canvas itself is installed with a default inclination, so as to allow a natural drainage of water. 5

[0007] In some cases, the problem of water stagnation is solved by equipping the sheet with rigid elements of supports that are inserted into special tubular seats which are obtained on the canvas itself and pass through it. In in this way the sheet is stiffened especially in the 10 central area preventing the sheet itself from sagging under the weight of the water, favoring on the contrary the draining without having to tilt the sheet.

[0008] An example of such a solution is described in the German utility model application DE202015100767. 15

[0009] This technical solution necessarily requires arrange tubular seats on the sheet, as well as a plurality of rigid support elements. This entails, However, an increase in production costs, as well as a increased installation complexity. 20

[0010] In the sector of shade sails it is therefore felt the need to have a shade sail fixed that is suitable to allow the water to drain away without being mounted at an angle and at the same time without requiring rigid support elements, so 25 to be less expensive to produce and easier to install. Presentation of the invention

[0011] Therefore, the main purpose of this invention is to eliminate in whole or in part 5 drawbacks of the above-mentioned known technique, by providing a fixed shade sail that allows water to drain without being mounted with inclination and at the same time without requiring rigid support elements. 10

[0012] A further object of the present invention is that of providing a shade sail fixed that is simple and economical to make.

[0013] A further object of the present invention is that of providing a shade sail 15 fixed that is simple and easy to install. Brief description of the drawings

[0031] The fixed shade sail according to the invention is was indicated overall with 1 in the Figures attached. 10

[0032] Here and in the following description and claims, reference will be made to the sail fixed shading 1 in use condition. In any such terms should therefore be understood in this sense references to a lower or higher position, or 15 to a horizontal or vertical orientation.

[0033] In accordance with a general embodiment of the invention, the fixed shade sail 1 comprises a cover sheet 10 on which the following is identified:

[0034] - a 10' lower face, which in use is the face 20 of the cloth facing downwards; and

[0035] - a 10” top face, which in use is the face of the cloth facing upwards.

[0036] In particular, the cover sheet 10 can be made of textile material, in particular fabric 25 in polyester, polypropylene, polyethylene, or in acrylic.

[0037] The fixed shade sail 1 also comprises:

[0038] - a plurality of anchor bodies 11, 12, 13, 14 connected to the cover sheet along the edge 5 perimeter 16 of the sheet itself; and

[0039] - a plurality of main tie rods 21, 22, 23, 24 which can be connected to the anchor bodies 11, 12, 13, 14 to stretch said cloth between a plurality of 50 supports anchored directly or indirectly 10 on the ground.

[0040] In particular, the main tie rods can be made of metal cables or ropes.

[0041] In the attached figures the supports 50 are consisting of poles anchored directly to the ground; 15 such supports can be constituted alternatively from masonry works. In general the 50 supports can be made up of any element capable of stably support the sail 1.

[0042] According to the invention, as illustrated in 20 particular in figures 4, 5, 9, 10, 12 and 14, the sail fixed shading 1 includes at least one tie rod secondary 30 flexible type.

[0043] Such at least one secondary tie rod 30 is arranged in correspondence of the lower face 10' of the sheet 25 cover 10 (i.e. under the sheet itself), unlike the main tie rods which extend outside the canvas.

[0044] The aforementioned secondary tie rod 30 is anchorable directly or indirectly to the cover sheet 10, 5 in proximity or in correspondence with their own two ends 30', 30”.

[0045] With the expression “anchored or anchorable directly to the canvas” means that the means of connection act directly between the tie rod 10 secondary and the cloth.

[0046] With the expression “anchored or anchorable indirectly to the cloth” means that the means of connection act between the secondary tie rod and a further intermediate element which in turn is 15 connected to the canvas. Preferably, as it will be filmed further on, this intermediate element is made up of one of said anchor bodies 11, 12, 13, 14.

[0047] The length L of said secondary tie rod 30 between the points of connection, direct or indirect, to the sheet 20 10 is adjustable by means of tensioning means 40 in such that the secondary tie rod 30 can be stretched between two different portions of the cloth until adhere to the lower face 10' of the sheet 10.

[0048] These two portions of the cloth 10 are chosen in such a way 25 such that the secondary tie rod 30 passes at least in proximity to the central area of the cover sheet 10 and acts as a support element for the sheet itself.

[0049] Operationally, the secondary tie rod 10 can perform its support function as it is 5 tensioned under the sheet until it adheres to the same.

[0050] Thanks to the invention, that is to the presence of the 30 tensionable secondary tie rod, the sail fixed shading 1 can be equipped with a rib 10 support that stiffens the central area of the sheet of cover. In this way, the cover sheet 10 is less prone to sagging under the weight of water rainwater and can therefore ensure water drainage itself without necessarily requiring assembly 15 with inclination.

[0051] Unlike the prior art, this result is obtained without the need to use elements rigid support elements. The support element is, in fact, made by tensioning a flexible element on the outside 20 under the sheet (i.e. the secondary tie rod), and not using elongated bodies with their own intrinsic longitudinal stiffness.

[0052] This also makes the shade sail fixed 1 according to the simplest and cheapest invention from 25 realize.

[0053] Furthermore, the absence of rigid support elements (such as fiberglass or carbon rods) reduces the minimum size of any packaging for the shipment of the dismantled sail. This goes to 5 advantage of simplifying logistics and reduction of transportation costs.

[0054] Furthermore, the absence of rigid support elements simplifies and facilitates installation operations of the fixed shade sail. In fact, an element 10 flexible is easier to move and adapts more easily assembled.

[0055] Furthermore, as will be more evident from the following description, the use of a flexible element (tensile between two portions of the sheet) does not require 15 the arrangement of accommodation locations on the sheet which are, instead, generally necessary for the application of rigid support elements to the sheet.

[0056] Preferably, as illustrated in particular in figures 6, 7 and 10, each of said bodies of 20 anchor 11, 12, 13, 14 is fixed firmly to the sheet of coverage 10 and defines a first location 61 for the attachment of the respective main tie rod 21, 22, 23, 24.

[0057] Advantageously, as illustrated in the figures 25 attached, each anchor body 11, 12, 13, 14 it can consist of a shaped plate, preferably metallic, on which is obtained:

[0058] - a first through opening 60a which defines the first seat 61 for the passage of the respective tie rod; 5 and

[0059] – a second through opening 60b which defines a second seat 62 for the passage of portions of the cover sheet.

[0060] In more detail, as illustrated in figures 6, 10 7 and 10, the 10 sheet is equipped with reinforcement straps perimeter 15, which in predefined positions along the perimeter edge 16 of the sheet 10 are passed through the second seat 62 of the shaped plates which form the anchor bodies 11, 12, 13, 14. 15

[0061] Preferably, the cover sheet 10 has a shape polygonal and presents along its edge perimeter 16 a plurality of corner portions 110, 120, 130, 140.

[0062] For example, the cover sheet 10 may have 20 triangular or quadrangular shape (as illustrated in the attached figures). They can also be foreseen other polygonal shapes, regular or irregular.

[0063] Preferably, as illustrated in the figures attached, each of said anchor bodies 11, 12, 25 13, 14 are connected to the sheet 10 at said angle portions 110, 120, 130, 140. In this way, the cover sheet is tensioned by means of tensile forces applied at the corner portions. 5

[0064] In accordance with alternative embodiments not illustrated in the attached figures, the shade sail 1 may include two or more secondary tie rods placed at the underneath the cover sheet 10 in adherence to it. These two or more tie rods may or may not cross each other 10 them. In the following, reference will be made to the case of a single secondary tie rod. It is understood that what described for a single secondary tie rod extends also to any secondary tie rods.

[0065] The secondary tie rod can be anchored 15 directly to the cover sheet in any part of the sheet itself. However, preferably, the tie rod secondary is anchored directly to the cover sheet in proximity to the anchor bodies 11, 12, 13, 14 in as it constitutes a more resistant part of the canvas. 20 In the following, reference will be made only to this direct connection.

[0066] Similarly, the secondary tie rod can be indirectly anchored to the cover sheet via any intermediate element placed between the sheet and 25 tie rod. However, preferably, the tie rod secondary is indirectly anchored to the sheet of cover in correspondence with the anchor bodies 11, 12, 13, 14 as they form a part of the sail shading connected to the canvas in a stable way and 5 resistant. In the following, reference will be made only to this indirect connection.

[0067] Advantageously, the aforementioned at least one tie rod secondary 30 can be anchored to both own two ends: 10

[0068] - directly to the sheet 10 near two of said anchor bodies 11, 12, 13, 14 (see figure 14); or

[0069] - indirectly to the cloth 10 at two of said anchor bodies 11, 12, 13, 14 (see 15 figures 4 and 9).

[0070] Alternatively, as illustrated in Figure 12, the secondary tie rod 30 can be anchored:

[0071] - at one of its first ends directly to the cloth 10 (in proximity of two of said anchor bodies 20 11, 12, 13, 14) and

[0072] - at its second end indirectly to the sheet 10 (corresponding to two of said bodies of anchor 11, 12, 13, 14).

[0073] Preferably, as illustrated in particular 25 in figures 3, 4, 9, 12, 14 and 16 – 18, said tie rod secondary 30 is anchored to the sheet near or in correspondence of two of said anchor bodies 12 and 14 whose line of connection is substantially aligned with the respective main tie rods 22 and 24. 5 In this way the tension exerted by the tie rod secondary 30 on the cover sheet 10 is balanceable from the opposing tension exerted by the tie rods main ones on the canvas itself.

[0074] Said secondary tie rod 30 is operationally 10 associated with said tensioning means 40 suitable for adjust the length of said tie rod between two 30', 30” end of the tie rod itself.

[0075] In relation to the secondary tie rod, they can be two cases are foreseen: 15

[0076] – the secondary tie rod consists of a body unique (see figures 3, 9, 12, 16 and 17); or

[0077] - the secondary tie rod consists of at least two elongated bodies connected to each other (see figures 14 and 18). 20

[0078] We now consider the case of a secondary tie rod consisting of a single body.

[0079] In accordance with the illustrated embodiments in figures 3, 9 and 12 the aforementioned secondary tie rod 30 is made up of a single elongated body 300 which is 25 extends seamlessly between the two 30', 30” ends of the tie rod at the which is anchored and / or anchorable directly or indirectly to the cover sheet 10.

[0080] Advantageously, as illustrated schematically 5 in figure 16, said single elongated body 300 can be anchored or anchorable in an adjustable way to the sheet covering 10 at both ends 30', 30” via two separate tensioning devices 41, 42 which constitute said tensioning means 40. 10

[0081] Preferably, as illustrated in Figures 3 and 9, said single elongated body 300 is anchored or adjustable and indirectly anchorable to the sheet coverage 10 at both ends 30', 30” in correspondence with two of said anchor bodies. 15 In this case, the two distinct devices mentioned above tensioning 41, 42 are integrated or connected to the respective anchor body 11, 12, 13, 14.

[0082] Alternatively, said single elongated body 300 is anchored or anchorable in an adjustable manner directly 20 to the cover sheet 10 to both of your own end 30', 30” near two of said bodies of anchoring. In this case, the aforementioned two distinct tensioning devices 41, 42 are separated from the respective anchor body 11, 12, 13, 14. 25

[0083] Alternatively, as illustrated in Figure 12 and schematically also in figure 17, said body unique elongated 300:

[0084] – can be anchored directly or indirectly to the cover sheet 10 in a non- 5 adjustable at a first end 30' (for example via sewing 47), and

[0085] - can be anchored or anchorable directly or indirectly to the cover sheet 10 so adjustable at a second end 30” via a 10 tensioning device 43 which constitutes said tensioning means 40.

[0086] We now consider the case of a secondary tie rod consisting of at least two elongated bodies connected together They. 15

[0087] In accordance with the embodiment illustrated in figure 14 and also schematically in figure 18, the aforementioned secondary tie rod 30 is made up of two elongated bodies 311, 312 each of which:
