Description
DESCRIPTION The nail polish automixer is composed of a series of integrated modules that allow the precise mixing of colored pigments with a transparent base, in order to obtain a final customized cosmetic product, customizable according to the user's needs. Another important innovation is the possibility of making them also in single doses (for a single application at a time) so as to always allow perfect application, because often in standard nail polish bottles after a long time the nail polish loses its initial effectiveness, begins to dry and no longer be fluid, a complaint encountered by various beauticians, who once opened the nail polish bottle then loses its initial consistency forcing them to throw it away because it is unusable. The main structure of the device is divided into six main sections: The machine is equipped with independent containers TABLE 1 Figure 1, intended to contain the primary pigments and the black and white pigments. The containers are made of corrosion-resistant and chemical-resistant material to ensure the safe storage of pigments without degradation. Each container is connected to a dispensing system that controls the precise release of the pigment needed for mixing. Each container has a content-level detection system that can signal the central control system when one of the pigments is running low. Furthermore, the containers are equipped with an airtight seal to prevent contamination with the external environment and preserve the integrity of the pigment. In addition to the pigment containers, the machine includes a separate container designed to hold the clear nail polish base (TABLE 1 Figure 2). This container is designed to hold a liquid base with a chemical composition suitable for cosmetic use, ensuring the appropriate viscosity and quality for the production of nail polish. Zo i The container is connected to a dispenser that controls the exact amount of base to mix with the pigments, maintaining the ratio necessary for optimal nail polish consistency. It is also equipped with an internal mixing system to prevent sedimentation and ensure the base remains homogeneous throughout the process. The machine's dosing system is a key element in ensuring accurate mixing. It uses a series of high-precision peristaltic pumps or solenoid valves that dispense minimal, controlled quantities of pigment and base. Dosing is regulated by a centralized control algorithm, which receives input from the user interface regarding the desired color and calculates the exact amount of each pigment needed to achieve the final result. The pumps are made of materials compatible with the chemicals used, preventing unwanted reactions and ensuring a long operating life. The dosing system allows for milliliter precision, enabling the accurate reproduction of user-selected colors. Once the pigments and base are dosed, they are transferred to a sealed mixing chamber (TABLE 1 Figure 4), where the components are combined. The mixing chamber is equipped with an internal stirrer, which can be mechanical (with rotating blades) or magnetic (with a magnetic vortex stirrer) to ensure homogeneous and complete mixing. The chamber is designed to minimize product waste and facilitate automatic cleaning between batches. This ensures that each new enamel mix is free from contamination from previously mixed colors.Once mixing is complete, the final product is transferred through a dispensing nozzle TABLE 1 Figure 5. This nozzle is designed to fill nail polish containers of different sizes (from single doses to standard bottles or as needed), and is equipped with a. mechanism that allows for precise, waste-free dispensing. The nozzle is made of non-stick material to prevent the product from sticking or coagulating, thus ensuring continuous and clean dispensing. After each dispensing, the system performs a quick cleaning to prevent clogging and ensure minimal maintenance. To ensure operational efficiency and the absence of contamination between mixes, the machine is equipped with an automated cleaning system TABLE 1 Figure 6. After each production run, the system initiates a cleaning cycle that uses a suitable solvent to clean the mixing chamber, dosing pumps, and dispensing nozzle. The solvent is sprayed onto all areas that have come into contact with the glaze, followed by a compressed air drying cycle to prepare the machine for a new production run.The entire machine is enclosed in an external structure made of durable and easy-to-clean materials. The structure is equipped with transparent panels to allow users to see the mixing process without accessing the internal parts, thus ensuring safety during operation. TABLE 2 Figure 1. All moving components or potentially dangerous parts are protected by safety covers. The machine also features a malfunction interlock system, preventing improper use and ensuring the system stops safely in the event of errors or jams. The machine is equipped with an advanced control system based on artificial intelligence. <IA), che permette di ottimizzare l’intero processo di miscelazione dei pigmenti e di personalizzazione del prodotto.Artificial intelligence not only improves the user experience but also the precision and efficiency of the machine, enabling it to learn from user interactions and continuously optimize results. The software offers an intuitive graphical interface, accessible via a touchscreen or mobile app. The interface (TABLE 2 Figure 2) allows users to select the desired color through. Several options are available: a connected spectrophotometer can detect a customer's existing color and recreate it identically, or users can select their preferred color from an on-screen color palette covering the full spectrum of available colors. The interface also displays a preview of the selected color. Users can enter a specific color code to obtain an exact reproduction of a specific color. The interface allows users to further customize the selected color by adjusting parameters such as brightness (adding white or black to lighten or darken the color). The user interface is enhanced with artificial intelligence features that allow for a smoother and more personalized interaction.Key features integrated with IA include: Personalized color suggestions based on a user's past choices. Mixing optimization is achieved thanks to the tA, which can learn from errors or small imperfections in previous mixes and correct them autonomously. For example, if a created color doesn't perfectly match the user's request, the algorithm learns from the process and adjusts the pigment ratios in future mixes. Thanks to machine learning models, IA can more accurately predict the final effect of pigment mixing, taking into account variables such as the viscosity of the base or the interaction between pigments, thus improving color matching. The color sensor, enhanced with AI capabilities, can perform more advanced analysis and improve color accuracy. The sensor, with the help of artificial intelligence, can analyze the mixed color in real time and compare it to the user's request, identifying even the smallest color discrepancies.AI analyzes sensor data to automatically suggest mixing adjustments without user intervention. If the resulting color isn't perfectly aligned with the selected color, IA intervenes by adjusting the pigment dosage in real time and correcting the mix before the final dispensing stage. The AI system optimizes the control of pigment and base dosage, minimizing human or technical errors and ensuring maximum precision in nail polish creation. Based on past information, IA can highly accurately predict the amounts of pigment needed to produce the desired color, reducing the need for manual adjustments. AI can also predict how much base is needed to achieve the perfect consistency based on the type of nail polish requested.Artificial intelligence plays a crucial role in continuous machinery monitoring, automatically identifying and resolving any issues. AI constantly monitors the status of machinery components, such as dosing pumps, containers, and nozzles, predicting any failures or maintenance needs. This system prevents operational downtime and ensures optimal device maintenance. The software also controls the machine's cleaning system, which activates automatically after each production cycle. The cleaning process is completely automatic and programmable, ensuring the machine is ready for the next mixing operation without the risk of contamination from pigment residues. The software manages the cleaning cycle in three phases: In the first phase, the solvent is released into the mixing chamber and nozzles to remove any glaze residues. In the second phase, the mixing chamber and pumps are agitated to ensure complete removal of product residues. In the third phase, a jet of compressed air is used. It dries all the machine parts involved in the mixing process. The automated mixing process within the nail polish automixer, for creating custom nail polishes, is designed to ensure maximum precision in nail polish production through a fully automated system integrated with control algorithms and artificial intelligence. The process is divided into several phases that follow one another in a coordinated manner, from color selection to mixing and dispensing the finished product. The automated mixing process begins with user interaction via the control interface, which allows the user to select the desired color or completely customize the color combination. The main input modes include: Color spectrum selection, where the user can choose a color from a range of visual options presented on a touchscreen or via an app. The user can manually enter a color code or customize the hues by adjusting brightness, saturation, and contrast. The AI algorithm suggests personalized colors or combinations based on past preferences or color trends. Once the user has selected the desired color, the AI system automatically calculates the proportions of the required primary pigments (red, blue, and yellow). This calculation is performed using the mixing algorithm, which takes into account the following parameters: The algorithm calculates the precise mix of primary pigments to obtain the selected color hue.The machine has additional containers for black and white, which are dosed to adjust the brightness or saturation of the color, respecting the user's specifications. The algorithm adjusts the amount of clear base (or special effect base, such as gel or matte) in relation to the final volume of polish required, ensuring optimal consistency. Once. Once the exact proportions of pigments and base have been calculated, the dosing system kicks into action. The dosing process is managed automatically and regulated with extreme precision: Each pigment is dosed through peristaltic pumps or electronically controlled valves, which release the exact amount of pigment into the system. The dosing precision is managed by the algorithm, which can correct any variations during release. Simultaneously, the dispenser dispenses the appropriate amount of clear base. Again, the process is fully automated, with precise adjustments that ensure the ideal flow and consistency of the enamel. Once the pigments and base have been dosed, they are automatically transferred to the mixing chamber via a dedicated piping system. The transfer occurs without product loss and in a sealed environment to avoid contamination.Mixing is a critical process that determines the quality and homogeneity of the final enamel. In the mixing chamber, the pigments and base are combined through an automatic stirring system. The mixing chamber is equipped with rotating blades or a magnetic stirrer, which mix the components to ensure the pigments are evenly distributed throughout the base. The speed and duration of mixing are automatically managed by the software, based on the desired viscosity of the enamel. AI continuously monitors the mixing process and can automatically adjust the stirring time to ensure the mixture is completely homogeneous. Any variations in the behavior of the components, such as pigment sedimentation, are detected and corrected in real time. An optical sensor, integrated with the AI system, can verify the color of the mixture matches the user's selection. If the color is not. Once perfectly aligned, IA suggests adjustments, such as adding small amounts of pigment, and recalculates the proportions until an exact match is achieved. Once mixing is complete, the polish is transferred to the dispensing nozzle for filling the final container. The dispensing process is designed to be fast, precise, and waste-free. The user can choose from different types of containers, such as standard nail polish bottles, single-dose bottles, or other containers. The nozzle is calibrated to dispense the polish in the required amount, without spills or residue. Once dispensing is complete, the nozzle is automatically cleaned with a cycle of solvent or compressed air, preventing clogging and ensuring availability for the next operation. After each production cycle, the nail polish automixer automatically initiates a cleaning process of the parts that have come into contact with the pigments and base.A dedicated piping system releases solvent through the mixing chamber, dosing pumps, and nozzle, removing any residual glaze or pigment. The mixing chamber is agitated during the rinse cycle to ensure all traces of pigment are eliminated. Once cleaning is complete, the system blows compressed air through all involved parts to dry the machine, preparing it for the next production cycle. Throughout the entire process, artificial intelligence plays a key role in monitoring and optimizing the system. AI tracks all production parameters, such as dosing speed, mixing time, viscosity, and color accuracy, and makes real-time adjustments to ensure the highest quality of the finished product. The system learns from previous cycles to improve accuracy and efficiency in subsequent ones, making the machine increasingly precise over time.
