Abstract
Description
[0001] The invention relates to a rolling device for a sliding opening of a joinery, preferably for a sliding opening of the door, window or similar type, as well as a joinery comprising a sliding opening provided with such a rolling device.
[0002] The present invention will find its application in the field of building hardware and relates to joinery provided with a sliding opening. It relates, more particularly, to such a rolling device designed to partially fit into a profile of said opening defining the lower crosspiece of said opening.
[0003] Joinery with a sliding opening usually requires, to ensure the mobility of the opening relative to a frame of the joinery, a rolling device generally having at least two translation systems, commonly called carriages, and at least one reversible locking system allowing to connect at least one of the vertical uprights of the opening and the frame. Each carriage generally comprises at least one roller rolling on a rail connected to the lower frame of the chassis, but may have more rollers, depending on the weight of the opening to be moved. Each carriage is also immobilized in contact with the lower profile of the opening.
[0004] Most often, at least one of the carriages equipping the opening is adjustable in height, to ensure good docking of the vertical profiles of the opening and the frame and thus guarantee locking using the locking system. Conventionally, this height adjustment is done through a screw integrated into the carriage or a linkage, accessible from the end(s) of the lower crosspiece of the opening.
[0005] However, in the case of a two-roller carriage, an articulation is made necessary by the inclination of the leaf caused by the height adjustment of at least one of the carriages. This articulation is generally achieved through a rolling unit carrying two rollers, articulated substantially at its center relative to the carriage housing. However, this arrangement automatically limits the number of rollers per carriage to two, since beyond two rollers, there will always be at least one roller that will not carry a load, knowing that a line can only pass through two points (principle of the railway wagon bogie).
[0006] Furthermore, document EP 4 039 929 in the name of the applicant discloses a rolling device for a sliding opening comprising a housing accommodating at least two rolling units arranged to bear one behind the other. In each of the rolling units is mounted to rotate about a horizontal axis a rolling roller. Furthermore, said rolling units are mounted in the housing movable in translation in at least one vertical direction and one horizontal direction. This housing comprises inclined support ramps with which a bearing surface of substantially identical inclination that said rolling units comprise is applied. Through adjustment means and by interaction of the bearing ramps of the housing with the bearing surfaces of identical inclination, this results in a height adjustment of the rolling units in said housing. In the event of a lack of parallelism between the opening and the support rail along which the rollers move, the housing is caused to tilt above the rolling units, causing relative movement by sliding of these rolling units relative to each other.
[0007] Document WO 2011 / 100788 describes a similar state of the art, namely a rolling device for a sliding opening comprising a housing accommodating two rolling units arranged to bear one behind the other. However, the inclined support ramps of the housing each comprise a T-shaped rail on which engages a slide provided at the level of the inclined support surface that each of the rolling units comprises. These are also fitted into each other at the height of their support zone against each other, this fitting preserving the possibility for these support surfaces to move by sliding one over the other.
[0008] This sliding of the bearing surfaces of the rolling units along the ramps, together with the sliding of the rolling units between them, can lead to blocking situations and difficult adjustment.
[0009] In an inventive approach, the applicant went against the teaching resulting from the state of the art by imagining that the rolling units do not necessarily have to be free in translation at the height of their reciprocal support zone.
[0010] Thus, the invention relates to a rolling device for a sliding opening of a joinery, preferably for a sliding opening of the door, window or similar type, said sliding opening being capable of being moved along a sliding direction, said rolling device comprising at least one carriage comprising a base provided with fixing means allowing the fixing of the carriage to a profile of said opening defining the lower crosspiece of said opening and provided with at least two support elements, and at least two rolling units each connected to the base and provided with a rolling roller mounted free to rotate about an axis of rotation as well as a support zone coming to bear against one of the support elements,a first rolling unit among the at least two rolling units being coupled to a second rolling unit among the at least two rolling units so as to form a first mechanical connection connecting the first rolling unit to the second rolling unit. Advantageously, the first mechanical connection has a degree of freedom allowing tilting of the first rolling unit relative to the second rolling unit about a pivot axis, the pivot axis preferably extending in a direction which is parallel to the axis of rotation and / or orthogonal to the sliding direction.,
[0011] The rolling device according to the invention can be easily adapted to support different openings of different dimensions and / or weights.
[0012] Preferably, the rolling units are aligned one behind the other along a direction which is essentially parallel to the sliding direction and / or orthogonal to the rotation axis and / or orthogonal to the pivot axis.
[0013] According to one possibility, the support zone bears against one of the support elements to form a second mechanical connection having at least one degree of freedom.
[0014] According to a possible additional feature, the carriage comprises an adjustment element for adjusting the gap between the base and the rolling units in a first adjustment direction which is parallel to the sliding direction and / or a second adjustment direction which is orthogonal to the sliding direction and / or orthogonal to the axis of rotation.
[0015] According to one variant, the adjusting element comprises an adjusting screw extending essentially in a direction which is parallel to the sliding direction.
[0016] According to a preferred variant of the rolling device, the support zone comes to bear against one of the support elements independently of an inclination of the rolling unit provided with this same support zone.
[0017] Preferably, the support zone and / or the support elements have at least one arched surface.
[0018] According to a preferred variant, each rolling device is provided with a single rolling roller.
[0019] According to a possible additional feature, the base comprises a plurality of sections connected to each other, at least two of the sections among the plurality of sections each being provided with one of the support elements.
[0020] This design makes it possible to overcome the limitation of two rollers per carriage.
[0021] The invention also relates to joinery comprising a sliding opening, preferably a sliding opening of the door, window or similar type, comprising at least one profile defining the lower crosspiece of said opening and a rolling device according to the invention, the means for fixing the base of the rolling device being fixed to the profile.
[0022] Other aims and advantages of the present invention will appear during the description which follows, relating to three exemplary embodiments.

[0024] As shown in the figures of the attached drawings, the present application relates to a rolling device 10 for a sliding opening 4 of a joinery 0, preferably for a sliding opening of the door, window or similar type. Said sliding opening 4 is capable of being moved along a sliding direction C. Said rolling device 10 comprises at least one carriage 20 comprising a base 22 provided with fixing means 24 allowing the fixing of the carriage 20 to a profile 6 of said opening 4 defining the lower crosspiece of said opening 4 and provided with at least two support elements 26, and at least two rolling units 28, 29 each connected to the base 22 and provided with a rolling roller 30 mounted to rotate freely about an axis of rotation R as well as a support zone 32 bearing against one of the support elements 26.A first rolling unit 28 among the at least two rolling units 28, 29 is coupled to a second rolling unit 29 among the at least two rolling units 28, 29 so as to form a first mechanical connection 34 connecting the first rolling unit 28 to the second rolling unit 29 and having at least one degree of freedom.
[0025] The present application also relates to a joinery 0 comprising a sliding opening 5, preferably a sliding opening of the door, window or similar type, comprising at least one profile 6 defining the lower crosspiece of said opening 5 and a rolling device 10 according to the present application. The fixing means 24 of the base 22 of the carriage 20 of the rolling device 10 is fixed to the profile 6.
[0026] As represented in the figure 1 of the present application, the joinery 0 can be equipped with locking means 1 and at least one operating means, such as a motorization or an operating handle 4. The sliding direction C corresponds to a horizontal opening movement of the leaf 5. The sliding direction C is ensured through the carriage(s) 20 forming part of the rolling device 10 rolling on one or more rails 12 integrated or attached to a crosspiece 8 of a frame 7 of the joinery 0.
[0027] The locking means 1 may also be provided to collaborate with at least one carriage 20 of the rolling device 10 so as to ensure the adjustment and / or lifting and removal of the leaf 5 under the action of the operating means 4 and in a vertical direction Y, mainly oriented in the direction of the weight of the leaf 5.
[0028] The first mechanical connection 34 may have a degree of freedom allowing the first rolling unit 28 to tilt relative to the second rolling unit 29 around a pivot axis P, the pivot axis P preferably extending in a direction which is parallel to the rotation axis R and / or orthogonal to the sliding direction C.
[0029] The rolling units 28, 29 may be aligned one behind the other along a direction which is essentially parallel to the sliding direction C and / or orthogonal to the rotation axis R and / or orthogonal to the pivot axis P.
[0030] The support zone 32 can come to bear against one of the support elements 26 to form a second mechanical connection 36 having at least one degree of freedom.
[0031] The carriage 20 may comprise an adjustment element 38 making it possible to adjust the gap between the base 22 and the rolling units 28, 29 in a first adjustment direction which is parallel to the sliding direction C and / or a second adjustment direction which is orthogonal to the sliding direction C and / or orthogonal to the axis of rotation R.
[0032] The support zone 32 can come to bear against one of the support elements 26 independently of an inclination of the rolling unit 28, 29 provided with this support zone 32.
[0033] The support zone 32 and / or the support elements 26 may have at least one arched surface 27.
[0034] Each rolling unit 28, 29 may be provided with a single rolling roller 30.
[0035] The first bearing unit 28 of the bearing units 28, 29 may be designated as the main bearing unit and the second bearing unit 29 of the bearing units 28, 29 as well as any additional bearing units may be designated as auxiliary bearing units.
[0036] The main rolling unit 28 can be coupled to one or more auxiliary rolling units 29, placed in series with each other or following the main rolling unit. The auxiliary rolling units 29 can have at least two contact zones 40, 42 with the main housing: a first contact zone 40 makes it possible to position the auxiliary housing(s) relative to the main housing and / or to the base 22 in the sliding direction C; the second contact zone 42 is materialized by the support zone 32 and / or the support elements 26 and allows the base 22 and / or the main rolling unit to transfer a height adjustment command to the auxiliary rolling units. In particular, these two contact zones 40, 42 are independent of the inclination of each rolling unit 28, 29 relative to the rail 12 and / or to the lower profile 6 of the opening 0.Each auxiliary rolling unit being provided with a single roller 30, it is therefore capable of tilting and capable of independently transferring the height adjustment control to the following potential rolling units. The immediate advantage of such a design is to rationalize the manufacture of locking systems to reduce costs, and to allow a greater combination of rolling units placed in series, therefore a better adaptation of the number of rollers 30 to the load.
[0037] In a first example of realization represented in the figures 2A et 2B , the base 22 of the carriage 10 receives the adjustment element 38. The adjustment element 38 may comprise an adjustment screw 39, engaged with a connecting rod 41, itself articulated on the first rolling unit 28 corresponding to the main rolling unit. This first rolling unit 28 corresponding to the main rolling unit has at least one oblong reserve 44, inclined relative to the sliding direction C and accommodating a protrusion 46 linked to the base 22. The second rolling unit 29 and / or the auxiliary rolling unit(s) may also have at least one such oblong reserve 44, inclined relative to the sliding direction C and accommodating an additional protrusion 46 linked to the base 22.The main rolling unit and / or the first rolling unit 28 is connected to at least one auxiliary rolling unit and / or to the second rolling unit 29 through the first mechanical connection 34, capable of driving the auxiliary rolling unit and / or the second rolling unit 29 in the sliding direction C. Each of the rolling units 28, 29 also has the support zone 32 materializing jointly with one of the support elements 26 the second contact zone, allowing an angular movement of each rolling unit 28, 29 substantially along the pivot axis P, perpendicular to the sliding direction C and to the main plane of the opening 5. Finally, each rolling unit 28, 29 accommodates a single rolling roller 30.
[0038] In the second embodiment shown in the figures 3A à 3C , a set of inclined slopes 48 replaces the oblong reserve 44 and tabs 50 replace the protrusions 46 provided in the first example of embodiment shown in the figures 2A et 2B . Furthermore, the single base 22 is subdivided into at least two sections 23. In particular, the rolling units 28, 29 are provided to be clippable onto the base 22 and / or the sections 23, for example by clipping the set of inclined slopes 48 onto the tabs 50, and the connections formed at the level of the second contact zone 44 can be engaged or retracted without tools or a through axle, which makes the carriage 20 particularly simple to assemble and install.
[0039] In the third embodiment, the rolling units 28, 29 and the base 22 are designed to be produced from flanges 52 connected by spacers 54. Furthermore, on the one hand, the support elements 26 are produced by connecting rods 56 articulated on the base 22 and, on the other hand, the support zones 32 on the rolling units 28, 29 are formed by a bore 58.
[0040] In short, whatever the embodiment chosen, it is possible to vary the number of rolling units 28, 29 between one unit and at least three units, while retaining a single height adjustment point for all of the rolling units 28, 29, and an angular adaptation of each rolling unit 28, 29 to the inclination between the opening and the rail 12.
