Abstract

This product is a protective tape for relieving pain in the fingers or toes caused by ingrown toenails. The basic shape is as shown in the front view, and a perforated dividing line runs vertically through the center to allow separation into two pieces. This product is a tape made of an elastic material and has an adhesive layer on its entire back surface. When using it, each separated piece is used. First, the roughly rectangular lower section shown in the front view is applied to the top surface of the ingrown toenail. Next, the wider section, which is continuous with the upper part, is inserted between the nail and the skin, folded and rolled up towards the back of the nail, and the lateral extension is reattached to the top surface of the nail to secure it. Note that a deletion guideline is provided at the bottom of the front view, and by deleting it as needed, the extension can be directly applied to the top surface of the nail.
