Abstract

This image is displayed on the screen of an information terminal, such as a smartphone, and is used to select a pre-stored page, such as a webpage. Thumbnails of each pre-stored page are displayed side by side, and the thumbnails move left and right when the user swipes left or right. The thumbnails are rectangular in shape. The left edge of the leftmost thumbnail and the right edge of the rightmost thumbnail are blurred (see the reference diagram showing the usage state). When the user centers a particular thumbnail, that thumbnail becomes a horizontally elongated oval, and a thick line is displayed around it. The page corresponding to that thumbnail is then displayed on the screen.
