Gap-forming tool for lifting steel plates

Abstract

This item is used to insert a hook into a lifting hole in a steel plate that has been placed on the ground. In other words, it is used to create a gap between the steel plate and the ground large enough to insert the hook. When using it, first connect a connecting material such as a chain or wire to this item. Then, as shown in Reference Figure 1 which shows the state of use, connect the item in this state to a position slightly higher than the connection position of the hook attached to the lower end of a suspension rope made of a similar connecting material. Alternatively, this item may be connected to the lower end of the suspension rope, and the hook may be connected to a position slightly higher than the connection position of this item. Next, as shown in Reference Figure 2 which shows the state of use, insert the lower edge of this item between the steel plate and the ground. Then, use the back of the hook or the like to drive it further in and insert it. In this state, as shown in Reference Figure 3 which shows the state of use, pull the suspension rope upward and raise this item to raise the steel plate. This creates a gap between the steel plate and the ground for the hook to be inserted. To raise the steel plate, as shown in Reference Figure 4 illustrating the usage state, insert the hook through the gap formed in the lifting hole of the steel plate, lower the item to the ground to loosen the tension of the connecting member of the item and detach it from the steel plate. Then, as shown in Reference Figure 5 illustrating the usage state, raise the hook to lift the steel plate.
