Abstract

The article relating to the present design corresponds to the first embodiment of the utility model registration application 2022-3547 and the patent application prior to the amendment of the application, and is a body-washing covering that can cover at least the breasts, is not conspicuous even when used in a public bath, allows the wearer to wash their body while wearing it, makes it easy to rinse off the soap that accumulates around the neck when washing hair, and is easy to handle during bathing (described in [0010] of the utility model registration application 2022-3547 and the patent application prior to the amendment of the application. Similarly, paragraph numbers are indicated in parentheses below). The body-washing covering is a long body that is elongated in one direction. Covering portions capable of covering at least the breasts are provided at both ends in the longitudinal direction of the long body. An intermediate portion is provided between one covering portion and the other covering portion ([0015]). The intermediate portion is made of mesh fabric ([0018]). The covering portion is constructed using two or more non-mesh fabrics ([0020]). By hanging the body-washing covering device around the user's neck, the intermediate portion can be positioned around the user's neck, and the covering portion can be positioned to cover at least the user's breasts. This allows the user to conceal their breasts in a public bath or other bathroom without attracting particular attention ([0015]). As shown in the front view, the body-washing covering device is elongated and can be worn by hanging it around the user's neck. When worn around the neck, it looks as if a towel is draped over the person, making it difficult for others to notice that the covering device is being worn. In this wearing state, the breasts are covered by the covering portion, allowing the user to avoid exposing their breasts without attracting attention ([0021]). Mesh fabric is a fabric in which a large number of holes are formed ([0025]). Non-mesh fabric is a general term for fabrics other than the mesh fabric described above, and includes woven fabrics, knitted fabrics, and nonwoven fabrics. Non-mesh fabrics can be appropriately selected from fabrics made using natural fibers such as cotton, silk, and linen, as well as common fibers such as polyester and nylon ([0029]). Non-mesh fabrics have a higher mesh value than the mesh fabrics described above, and the mesh opening is small enough that when the fabric is spread out under indoor lighting and observed visually from one side, the other side cannot be seen ([0030]).As shown in the enlarged cross-sectional view of Reference AA, the fabric of the covering portion is made of a flat fabric with an uneven surface ([0033]). A first fastening portion is provided on one side of the first covering portion as shown in the unfolded view of the front side, and a second fastening portion is provided on the other side of the second covering portion as shown in the unfolded view of the back side ([0040]). With this positional relationship, the first covering portion and the second covering portion can overlap in part, with one side of each facing outwards ([0040]). The fastening of the first and second fastening portions fixes their positions, stabilizing the wearing state of the washing covering ([0038]). The washing covering is equipped with a storage section consisting of a third fastening portion and a fourth fastening portion so that it can be stored compactly when not in use. Specifically, the third fastening part is a button provided near the longitudinal end of one side of the elongated body-washing cover, and the fourth fastening part is a ring provided at the aforementioned longitudinal end of the body-washing cover. The body-washing cover can be folded in half in the short direction, and from the side without the third fastening part, the body-washing cover can be folded or rolled up so that the third fastening part is exposed on the front side, and the compact storage state can be maintained by fastening the third fastening part and the fourth fastening part together. The ring is made of an elastic material such as a rubber band ([0041]). Also, as can be seen in the front and back unfolded diagrams, the dimensions in the short direction are smaller than those of a typical bath towel, making it easier to wrap around the head as shown in the reference usage diagram ([0024]).
