Abstract
To provide a torquer that has a simple configuration and that detects strain generated when a guide wire is operated.SOLUTION: A torquer 30 comprises strain gauges 71 to 74 which detect strain in the torquer 30 generated when a guide wire 10 is operated, and generate an analog signal corresponding to the strain. The plurality of strain gauges 71 to 74 includes: the plurality of first strain gauges 71 and 72, which detects strain generated in a cylindrical body when the guide wire 10 is rotated; and the plurality of second strain gauges 73 and 74, which detects strain generated in the cylindrical body when the guide wire 10 is pushed and pulled. The plurality of first strain gauges 71 and 72 is arranged facing in the radial direction of the guide wire 10, the gauge directions of the plurality of first strain gauges 71 and 72 are arranged to be orthogonal to each other, and each resistor 82 of the plurality of first strain gauges 71 and 72 is connected to constitute a first Wheatstone bridge circuit 120A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17
