Abstract

To provide a pneumatic tire allowed to improve high-speed durability without deteriorating puncture sealability, and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire includes: an annular tread portion 1 extending in a tire circumferential direction; a pair of sidewall portions 2 disposed on both sides of the tread portion 1; and a pair of bead portions 3 disposed on inner sides in a tire radial direction of the sidewall portions 2. Therein: a plurality of belt layers 7 are disposed in the tread portion 1; a sealant layer 20 is formed on a tire inner surface Ts in the tread portion 1; a sealant of the sealant layer 20 is formed of a silicone-based composition; the sealant layer 20 is disposed between both end portions 7Be in a tire lateral direction of a belt layer 7B positioned on an outermost side in the tire radial direction among the plurality of belt layers 7 such that a coated portion 20x coated with the sealant and a non-coated portion 20y not coated with the sealant are mixedly arranged.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
