Abstract

To provide a technique capable of suppressing re-adhering of a waste material adhered to a cleaning member to a nozzle.SOLUTION: A three-dimensional shaping device includes: a nozzle having a discharge port that discharges a shaping material toward a stage; a discharge control mechanism that is provided in a flow path through which the shaping material flows and controls a supply amount of the shaping material supplied to the nozzle by changing an opening degree of the flow path; a suction-feeding unit that performs a suction operation of sucking the shaping material in the flow path into a branch flow path connected to the flow path between the discharge control mechanism and the discharge port, and a feeding operation of feeding the shaping material sucked into the branch flow path to the flow path; and a control unit that controls the discharge control mechanism to stop supplying of the shaping material to the nozzle while the shaping material is being discharged from the nozzle, and then performs a cleaning process. During the cleaning process, the control unit controls the suction-feeding unit to perform a suction operation, thereby discharging at least a portion of the shaping material in the nozzle to a non-shaping region where a three-dimensional shaped material is not shaped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
