Abstract
To make it possible to efficiently accommodate a plurality of wireless terminals using an RIS reflector.SOLUTION: A wireless communication system according to one embodiment includes an RIS reflector having a plurality of reflecting elements that reflect electromagnetic waves, and a control unit that controls the phase of the electromagnetic waves reflected by each of the reflecting elements, and accommodates a plurality of wireless terminals that perform wireless communication. The wireless communication system includes a dividing unit that divides an area occupied by the plurality of reflecting elements of the RIS reflector into a plurality of divided areas according to the number of wireless terminals. The control unit performs control so that the phase of the electromagnetic waves reflected by each of the reflecting elements differs for each divided area based on a frequency assigned to each wireless terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
