Antiviral polycarbonate resin composition and molded article made thereof

Abstract

The present invention provides an antiviral polycarbonate resin composition and molded articles made therefrom that exhibit excellent antiviral properties, thermal stability, color, and impact resistance. [Solution] A resin composition characterized by containing (A) 100 parts by weight of polycarbonate resin (component A), (B) 1 to 15 parts by weight of a metal-based antiviral agent containing monovalent copper compound particles as an active ingredient (component B), and (C) 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of an alkanesulfonate (component C).

Claims

1. A resin composition characterized by containing (A) 100 parts by weight of polycarbonate resin (component A), (B) 1 to 15 parts by weight of a metal-based antiviral agent containing monovalent copper compound particles as an active ingredient (component B), and (C) 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of an alkanesulfonate (component C).

2. The resin composition according to claim 1, characterized in that component B is a metal-based antiviral agent containing monovalent copper compound particles as an active ingredient containing a zirconium compound.

3. The resin composition according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that component B is a metal-based antiviral agent containing copper(I) iodide as monovalent copper compound particles.

4. The resin composition according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the antiviral activity value after wiping with water or alcohol is 2.0 or higher.

5. A molded article comprising the resin composition described in claim 1 or 2.
