Abstract

To provide a novel microneedle that can be used as a replacement for conventional metal injection needles, and a syringe using the same. [Solution] A microneedle 100 is provided with a plurality of cone-shaped needle bodies 20 on the surface f of a substrate 10, and is provided with an injection hole 40 that penetrates from the back side b of the substrate 10 to the cone surface c of each needle body 20. As a result, drug can be delivered from the back side b of the substrate 10 to the cone surface c of each needle body 20 through the injection hole 40, so that if drug is delivered while each needle body 20 is punctured into the skin, the drug can be directly and continuously injected subcutaneously from each needle body 20, just like a conventional metal injection needle.

Claims

1. A microneedle having multiple cone-shaped needle bodies on the surface of a substrate, A microneedle characterized by having an injection hole that penetrates from the back side of the substrate to the conical surface of each needle body.

2. In the microneedle according to claim 1, A microneedle characterized in that a groove extending toward the tip is formed on the conical surface of each needle body, and the groove communicates with the injection hole.

3. In the microneedle according to claim 1, A microneedle characterized in that the injection hole is funnel-shaped and widens toward the back side of the substrate.

4. In the microneedle according to any one of claims 1 to 3, A microneedle characterized by having a first annular rib surrounding each of the aforementioned needle bodies.

5. In the microneedle according to any one of claims 1 to 3, A microneedle characterized by having a second annular rib on the surface side of the substrate that surrounds the entire needle body.

6. A syringe comprising a microneedle according to any one of claims 1 to 5, a cylindrical syringe connected to the back surface of the microneedle, and a plunger that reciprocates within the syringe.
