Abstract

Nucleic acid molecules encoding HPV antigens are provided herein. Vaccines against human papillomavirus (HPV) comprising the nucleic acids, methods for inducing an immune response, and methods for prophylactically and / or therapeutically immunizing individuals against recurrent respiratory papillomatosis (RRP) are also provided. Pharmaceutical compositions, recombinant vaccines comprising DNA plasmids, and live attenuated vaccines are disclosed, as are methods for inducing an immune response to treat or prevent RRP.
