Abstract

An aspect of this disclosure provides a terminal including: a control unit that determines a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) and the number of repetitions on the basis of an MCS field in an uplink grant for repeated transmission of an uplink data channel for retransmission in a random access procedure; and a transmission unit that repeatedly transmits, in the random access procedure, the uplink data channel for retransmission according to the MCS and the number of repetitions.
