Abstract

The present invention relates to a positioning device and battery processing equipment. The positioning device includes a base, a first jig, and a second jig. The cells, adapter sheets, and top cover sheets to be welded can be supplied from a material supply station. Before passing through the first welding station, the second jig is first switched to a retracted position, allowing the second jig to retract the cells from the first jig, allowing pre-welding of tabs to the cells to be performed smoothly at the first welding station. After pre-welding of the tabs is completed, the second jig is switched to a welding position, thereby achieving positioning between the adapter sheet and the top cover sheet and the cells. In this way, the adapter sheet and the top cover sheet can be welded to the cells when passing through the second welding station and the second welding station. As can be seen from this, during the processing process, the cells are always positioned within the first jig, eliminating the need for multiple rotations. This avoids damage to the cells due to frequent gripping and positioning. Therefore, the positioning device and battery processing equipment described above can improve the yield of battery processing.
