Abstract

An interactive, physical educational anatomical model of the human mouth and a method for its use are disclosed, designed for teaching dental anatomy and promoting personal oral hygiene. The utility model comprises a durable, rigid body panel manufactured from plastic, polymer board, wood, or composite materials, shaped or printed to represent the human oral cavity including the upper and lower jaws. Permanent magnets are embedded within or beneath the panel at predetermined anatomical positions corresponding to the tongue and specific tooth types, namely the incisors, canines, premolars, and molars. A accompanying set of labeled, free-moving name tags fabricated from metal-coated plastic or lightweight metal is provided. These tags are configured to magnetically attach to the corresponding embedded magnets on the panel. Upon manual application by learners, the model provides an engaging, tactile, and repeatable pedagogical tool that visually and physically reinforces the spatial arrangement and functionality of teeth. The configuration enables autonomous identification and labeling of dental structures during classroom instruction, overcoming the limitations of passive charts and diagrams while minimizing component wear over its service life.
