Abstract

An offline curriculum delivery system for a classroom display device operates without mains electrical supply at the point of instruction via either an internally integrated rechargeable battery or an externally coupled rechargeable battery pack rechargeable from any available power source at any location and transported to the classroom for use where no mains supply is present. A solar photovoltaic charging input optionally charges the battery in either configuration. A curriculum agnostic uploadable content store is configurable for any national or international curriculum framework by substituting the content bundle without modification to the core application. A hardware remote control device is the sale and exclusive navigation mechanism without touchscreen, keyboard, or mouse. A lesson picker interface navigable exclusively via the hardware remote control presents hierarchical curriculum selection. Lesson slides display full-screen with a persistent curriculum lesson identifier overlay. Pre-stored interactive activities operate without internet or student devices. An over-the-air mechanism downloads content updates when connectivity is available. The combination enables a teacher with no technology training to deliver curriculum aligned lessons in any classroom without internet, without mains power, and without technology skills beyond a remote control
