Abstract

The invention provides a color palette comprising natural plant pigments, a method extracting natural plant pigment and utilization of pigment as painting media for creating painting. Pigments are extracted from selected plant materials, including beetroot, turmeric, tea, henna, red pepper, 5 tomato, coffee, and cinnamon. The method combines a soaking extraction process that involves heating, immersion in water or alcohol, fragmenting, and squeezing and a sonication extraction method using Soxhlet, Ultra-sonication equipment and extraction solvents. This dual process yields pigments with enhanced vibrancy and improved stability compared to traditional methods. Extracted pigments are stored in airtight containers under cool, dry, and light-protected conditions 10 to prevent degradation. Testing of extracted pigments is done on various surfaces with different binders to assess performance and compatibility. The pigments are formulated into a color palette arranged in a color wheel to provide a broad range of hues for artistic applications.
