Refrigerating device and control method thereof

Abstract

A refrigeration device is disclosed. The device comprises a camera, a storage chamber, a cold air supply device, a memory storing at least one instruction, and a processor. When the at least one instruction is executed collectively or individually by the processor, the refrigeration device captures a food item placed in the storage chamber through the camera to acquire an image, inputs the acquired image into an artificial intelligence model to acquire food information corresponding to the food item placed in the storage chamber, identifies an operating mode of the refrigeration device based on the food information, and controls the temperature inside the storage chamber through the cold air supply device based on the identified operating mode.
