[0003] Sleep training for infants and young children is a process that helps babies and young children learn to fall asleep independently and form consistent sleep habits. Through this, children develop a consistent sleep rhythm, and parents find it easier to manage their child's sleep. Sleep training is conducted in an appropriate manner tailored to the baby's age, developmental stage, and individual temperament, and generally includes establishing regular sleep times, stimulus control, and gradual independent sleep training. Currently, there is a lack of official statistics in Korea regarding the exact proportion of children requiring sleep training. However, information on the sleep patterns of Korean infants and toddlers can be obtained through some research results. According to the study, the average total sleep time for Korean infants and toddlers is 11 hours and 54 minutes, which is the third shortest among the 17 countries surveyed. Furthermore, nighttime sleep time averaged 9 hours and 25 minutes, which is shorter than that of Western countries, and bedtime was 10:06 PM, the fourth latest among the surveyed nations. These sleep patterns may indicate sleep deprivation or inappropriate sleep habits, suggesting the need for sleep training. [0013] An application stored on a smart device may be disclosed to implement the infant sleep education method according to the present invention. Effects of the invention

[0014] The present invention can create a sleep environment suitable for infants by analyzing personalized sleep patterns based on the biological data of infants and providing optimized learning content.

[0015] The sleep education according to the present invention supports a child in learning how to fall asleep on their own, and allows the child to learn independence, patience, and a sense of security by repeating the experience of falling asleep on their own.

[0016] Through sleep education according to the present invention, the child naturally comes to recognize the importance of learning rules and maintaining consistent habits, and this ability to follow rules is of great help in learning and daily life when entering the school age.

[0017] Through sufficient sleep, a child can obtain the energy necessary for physical and emotional development, which also serves as an important foundation for forming relationships with those around them.

[0018] By successfully implementing sleep training, caregivers gain confidence that they can solve their child's sleep problems on their own. This has a positive impact when facing other parenting issues and enables caregivers to actively engage in parenting.

[0019] According to the present invention, when a child has a regular sleep pattern, the caregiver can distribute the time and energy required to care for the child more efficiently. This reduces parenting stress, which has a positive effect on interaction with the child and maintains a stable atmosphere within the home.

[0020] In the sleep education process according to the present invention, the caregiver can develop the ability to understand the child's signals and needs through communication with the child. This strengthens the attachment relationship with the child and helps establish a parental role that provides a sense of security to the child.

[0026] The diagnostic module (10) of the infant sleep education system (1) according to the present invention is a core component that provides basic data for sleep education by comprehensively diagnosing the condition of the infant and parents. The diagnostic module (10) of the present invention is composed of the following sub-devices. The sleep environment evaluation device (100) analyzes the infant's sleep environment (e.g., temperature, humidity, lighting, noise, etc.) to identify ideal sleep conditions. It converts the evaluation results into data and provides guidelines for adjusting the environment. The pre-sleep routine analysis device (110) records and evaluates the behaviors performed by the infant before sleep (e.g., bathing, reading a book, listening to a lullaby, etc.). It judges the consistency and suitability of the routine and suggests improvement plans. The self-stabilizing behavior evaluation device (120) analyzes the behaviors by which the infant maintains a sense of stability (e.g., holding a doll, deep breathing, etc.). It evaluates the strength and pattern of self-sedation ability and suggests methods to strengthen it. The stress level evaluation device (130) measures the psychological stress of the parents and the infant. For example, a stress index is calculated based on biosignals such as heart rate and skin conductivity, as well as survey data. This provides customized advice for stress relief. The lifestyle rhythm evaluation device (140) analyzes biorhythm data, such as the waking, sleeping, and nap times of infants and parents. Based on the analysis results, it suggests appropriate daily routines and sleep times. The parent prior knowledge and ability evaluation device (150) evaluates parents' prior knowledge and ability regarding sleep education to improve the efficiency of sleep education. As an example, it checks the understanding and ability to practice sleep education methods through a test. The basic test device (160) evaluates the memory, language ability, and emotional and impulse control abilities of infants and parents. Based on the evaluation results, it sets the direction of sleep education considering the characteristics of infants and parents. The survey device (170) identifies the living environment (e.g., division of roles within the home, communication among family members, lifestyle habits, etc.) and psychological state of parents and infants.Based on this, we recommend a sleep education program suitable for infants, toddlers, and parents.

[0027] As an example, regarding the diagnosis and adjustment of the sleep environment for infants and toddlers, the temperature (22°C), humidity (50%), and noise level (40dB or less) are measured through sensors installed in the sleeping area via sleep environment analysis. It is checked whether the lighting has a warm hue (2700K) suitable for sleep. If the temperature of the sleeping area rises to 25°C, proper ventilation or the use of an air conditioner is recommended. If ambient noise is measured at 50dB or higher, the use of a noise-canceling device is suggested.

[0028] As an example, regarding the analysis and improvement of infant sleep routines, it is evaluated whether the child performs a daily bath (10 minutes), reading (15 minutes), and listening to a lullaby (5 minutes) before sleep. If the routine is inconsistent or the order changes, it is recommended to fix the schedule. To maintain consistency, parents are notified to fix the sequence of "bath → reading → listening to a lullaby."

[0029] As an example, regarding the analysis of stress levels, the parents' heart rate and skin conductivity are analyzed to confirm that they are in a high stress state (index 7 / 10 or higher). A simple meditation app for stress relief is recommended to the parents. If the survey results indicate "anxiety about new environments" in infants and toddlers, it is suggested to add relaxing play activities during the daytime.

[0030] As an example, in relation to the assessment of daily routines, the infant's wake-up time (7:30 AM), nap time (1:00 PM–2:30 PM), and bedtime (9:00 PM) are analyzed. If the daily routine is inconsistent, it is recommended to adjust the wake-up time to 7:00 AM every day. Parents are informed that "fixing the wake-up time will naturally stabilize the bedtime."

[0031] Next, the diagnostic module (10) of the present invention includes a sleep pattern analysis device (180), which measures the sleep start and end times of an infant and automatically detects the time when the infant begins to fall asleep and the time when the infant wakes up. It also detects and records the frequency with which the infant wakes up during the night. Based on the measured data, it calculates the average daily sleep time. All measured data is stored in a database (50) to support tracking of sleep patterns over the long term. As one example, the sleep pattern analysis device (180) monitors the sleep start and end times in real time through a motion sensor, a noise detector, or a wearable device attached to the infant's bed. It analyzes movements and noises occurring during sleep to determine the number of times the infant wakes up and the duration of continuous sleep. It analyzes the stored data and provides it in the form of a graph or report that parents can easily understand. This can be stored in a parent database (510). As one example, based on the results, the diagnostic module (10) may recommend "adjusting the sleep environment to reduce the number of times the infant wakes up in the middle of sleep." In addition, the database (50) accumulates the daily sleep start time, end time, number of times woken up, and average sleep time. Thus, it is possible to track changes in the sleep patterns of infants and toddlers. As an example, based on one month of data, it is possible to check whether the sleep patterns of infants and toddlers are gradually becoming regular. For instance, it is confirmed that the average sleep time was initially 8 hours and 30 minutes, but increased to 10 hours after one month through an improved environment and routine.

[0032] It provides parents with information that the infant's sleep patterns are stabilizing through visualized graphs.

[0033] It provides additional advice (e.g., strengthening sleep routines, adjusting the sleep environment) to enhance the improvement effect. The sleep pattern analysis device (180) of the present invention objectively records sleep data of infants and toddlers and supports the improvement of the infants' sleep patterns and habits based on this data. In addition, it maximizes the effectiveness of sleep education through long-term data accumulation and analysis, and helps parents detect sleep problems early and respond appropriately.

[0034] The diagnostic module (10) includes a sleep frequency measurement device (190). The device detects movement during sleep through a motion sensor and records the time when the infant wakes up. It also detects sounds (e.g., crying, groaning) that occur after the infant wakes up through a noise detection sensor to determine the time of awakening. As an example, the time of awakening is precisely measured by collecting heart rate and movement data through a wearable sensor that the infant can wear. The number of times the infant wakes up and the duration of sleep are recorded in real time and transmitted to a data storage unit so that they can be analyzed over the long term. As an algorithm for evaluating sleep stability, if the number of awakenings exceeds a specific threshold (e.g., 2 or more times), it is considered an unstable sleep pattern, and additional stabilization measures are suggested. If the frequency of awakenings is high, measures such as improving the sleep environment (e.g., adjusting temperature, lighting, etc.), adjusting the sleep routine (e.g., adjusting longer nap times), or providing psychological comfort (e.g., using a sleep doll) are suggested to the parents. The application of the smart device (2) provides visualized data through the application (3) so that parents can check the evaluation results, and suggests additional measures if necessary.

[0035] As an example, for long-term analysis and improvement of the frequency of infants waking up during sleep, the number of times they woke up and the duration of sleep are recorded daily for one month, and sleep stability can be improved by adjusting the sleep environment accordingly (e.g., setting the bedroom lighting to be dimmer and adding white noise to block out noise) and adjusting the sleep routine (e.g., adding 5 minutes of psychological calming activity (soft conversation) to pre-sleep activities). The application (3) visualizes a comparison of data before and after, helping parents easily understand the results of the improvement.

[0036] The diagnostic module (10) according to the present invention includes a sleep environment evaluation device (100) that evaluates the suitability of the sleep environment for infants and provides information to parents to create an optimal sleep environment. The device monitors noise, lighting, and temperature within the sleep space in real time, evaluates the sleep environment based on the monitored data, and suggests optimal conditions for improvement. As one example, it measures the background noise level (dB) of the sleep space, detects specific frequencies (e.g., sudden loud noises) that may disturb sleep, and measures the illuminance (lux) and color temperature (K) of the sleep space to provide data to maintain a dark lighting environment (e.g., 5 to 20 lux) suitable for sleep. In addition, it continuously monitors the indoor temperature and provides information to maintain a temperature range (18 to 22°C) suitable for the sleep of infants and toddlers, integrates the collected data to evaluate the suitability of the sleep environment, identifies problematic elements, and calculates optimal conditions for improvement.

[0037] In relation to the environmental suitability assessment, weights are set for each element (e.g., noise, lighting, temperature) to calculate an environmental suitability score, and the results of the environmental assessment and suggestions for improvement are provided to parents in real time through an application (3) within a smart device (2). Parents can check the suggested improvements and adjust the environment immediately if necessary. The sleep environment assessment device (100) of the present invention analyzes the suitability of the sleep environment of infants and toddlers in real time to help parents optimize the sleep environment. By suggesting improvement measures based on real-time monitoring and data, it improves the sleep quality of infants and toddlers and supports the formation of regular sleep patterns. Through long-term data analysis functions, continuous improvement of the sleep environment is possible, and the burden of sleep management is reduced by providing practical guidance to parents.

[0038] The sleep education system (1) according to the present invention includes a development module (20), the development module (20) includes various functions for generating a customized sleep education program by reflecting the individual characteristics and needs of parents and infants and for effectively executing the program. The module is designed to adjust the difficulty level of the education program through a ladder function development module and to maximize the effectiveness of sleep education for parents and infants.

[0039] The ladder function development module (210) within the development module (20) adjusts the difficulty level of the learning program step by step based on the initial test results and requirements of parents and infants. For example, if an infant has formed autonomous sleep habits well, the difficulty level is increased to provide additional learning goals. The learning content provision unit (220) provides learning content suitable for the developmental stage and sleep pattern of infants, and the step-by-step learning goal setting unit (230) sets step-by-step learning goals based on this. The schedule-customized learning plan generation unit (240) analyzes the daily life patterns of parents and infants to set the optimal learning time and sleep routine. The feedback system provision unit (250) analyzes the results of sleep education implementation to provide feedback to parents and infants and suggests improvement measures. The stress control and emotion management tool provision unit (280) provides psychological stability content and tools to help parents and infants alleviate stress that may occur during sleep.

[0040] The sleep routine setting guide provider (290) sets up a sleep routine so that the infant can wake up and go to sleep at a consistent time every day. By guiding the pre-sleep preparation process (e.g., bathing, reading a book, listening to a lullaby, etc.), it provides physical and psychological stability to the infant. Through the individualized routine recommendation function for each infant, it automatically recommends an optimized routine by considering the infant's age, sleep pattern, and living environment. It provides parents with notifications regarding the start time and method of the routine, monitors the progress of the routine, and records whether it has been executed. Accordingly, the infant can maintain a regular sleep pattern to stabilize their biological rhythm, and the time it takes for the child to fall asleep can be shortened through repetitive and stable activities before sleep. The parent-child interaction guide provider (260) recommends activities (e.g., conversation, simple play, singing a lullaby) that can strengthen the emotional bond between the parent and the child before sleep. It provides interaction tips so that parents can understand the infant's reaction and respond appropriately. For example, there are "Talk to the child in a quiet tone" or "Give the child a hug to reduce anxiety." Parents are asked to record the infant's reaction after the interaction activity to analyze and recommend effective activity methods. The advanced learning material recommendation unit (270) recommends advanced learning materials suitable for the condition of the parents and infant based on data collected from the diagnosis module and the evaluation / feedback module. For example, if the infant is unable to soothe themselves, "self-soothing routine" materials are provided. Various forms of materials, such as videos, visual materials, checklists, and parent education documents, are provided to enhance learning effectiveness. Materials suitable for the current program stage are suggested to support the achievement of learning goals.

[0041] The development module (20) according to the present invention includes real-time monitoring and analysis functions. It monitors the progress of learning in real time to analyze whether learning goals have been achieved and makes adjustments if necessary. Based on data collected from the diagnostic module (10), it analyzes the individual sleep patterns, stress levels, and learning tendencies of parents and infants. By reflecting the analysis results, it sets the learning difficulty and generates step-by-step learning goals and content. Parents receive real-time feedback during program execution and may receive suggestions for modified learning plans if necessary.

[0042] As an example regarding the creation of a customized sleep education program, the sleep pattern of the infant among the data collected from the diagnostic module (10) is an average bedtime of 9:00, an average sleep time of 8 hours, and 2 awakenings during sleep. Based on the parents' survey results indicating high stress levels and lack of sleep education experience, the program is created, and the ladder function development module (210) sets the difficulty level to low because the infant's sleep habits are not stable. The first week provides basic goals such as fixing wake-up and bedtimes and setting a pre-sleep routine, and sets step-by-step learning goals. Sleep education begins every evening at 8:00 PM to match the parents' lifestyle patterns, and the parents are provided with a video and guide on "pre-sleep stabilization activities." After the first week ends, if the schedule is fixed with an average bedtime of 9:00 and a wake-up time of 7:00, feedback is provided to the parents stating, "The routine setting was successful. Please proceed to the next step."

[0043] In the case of an example of real-time monitoring and learning goal adjustment, if an infant has difficulty falling asleep according to the set routine (average bedtime 9:30), the difficulty level is lowered in relation to the adjustment of learning difficulty, and the bedtime target is changed to 9:30. If the infant's bedtime reaches the target, the difficulty level is increased starting from the second week to set a new goal. In this way, the development module (20) of the present invention provides a customized program tailored to the individual needs and characteristics of parents and infants, thereby maximizing the effectiveness of sleep education. Through the step-by-step setting of learning goals and real-time feedback functions, the formation of sleep habits in infants is systematically achieved.

[0044] The development module (20) according to the present invention includes an artificial intelligence-based learning module (21) to analyze the behavior and psychological state of infants and parents, and to automatically improve and optimize a customized sleep education program based on this. The artificial intelligence-based learning module (21) learns from data collected from the diagnostic module (10) to analyze the sleep patterns, psychological state, and daily rhythms of infants and parents. Key data include the start and end times of sleep for infants, the frequency of waking up during sleep, sleep environment conditions, and the stress levels of parents. The artificial intelligence-based learning module (21) learns and analyzes the behavior and psychological characteristics of parents and infants. For example, it analyzes the causes of difficulty for infants to fall asleep (stress, environmental factors, lack of routine, etc.) and automatically improves the sleep education program based on the analysis results. The improvements include learning content, routine settings, adjustment of learning difficulty, and recommendations for additional learning materials. Through continuous input and learning of user data, optimized feedback is provided in real time.

[0045] As an example, an AI-based learning module utilizes a deep learning algorithm to analyze a large amount of user data and extract patterns. Through the extracted patterns, it provides a sleep education solution optimized for the user and continuously improves by learning new data. For instance, regarding the improvement of a program based on the sleep patterns of infants and toddlers, initial data is input, and if the data collected from the diagnostic module (10) indicates that the infant's average sleep time is 7 hours (less than recommended time), the frequency of waking up during sleep is 3 times a day, and the parent's stress level is high (survey results), then the cause of sleep deprivation is excessive activity before sleep (excessive nighttime playtime), and the cause of increased waking frequency is identified as changes in room temperature and stress factors. The program improvement includes adding calm activities before sleep (reading books, listening to music), providing guidance on maintaining a constant room temperature, and recommending meditation content to relieve parental stress. After running the program for two weeks, an increase in the infant's average sleep time and a decrease in the frequency of waking up during sleep can be observed.

[0046] The infant sleep education system (1) according to the present invention includes an evaluation / feedback module (40) to analyze the results of the sleep education program execution for infants and parents, adjust the learning difficulty and content based on the analysis results, and provide a visualized report on the sleep status and learning progress of parents and infants. The evaluation / feedback module (40) refines diagnostic criteria and continuously improves the effectiveness of the program through linkage with the diagnosis module (10) and the development module (20). Regarding the result analysis and evaluation functions, sleep education program execution data is collected and analyzed to evaluate whether the infant's sleep has improved and the parents' educational outcomes. Key analysis items include the infant's sleep duration, frequency of waking during sleep, average sleep onset time, stability of the sleep environment, parental feedback score, learning participation, and changes in stress. The difficulty of the learning content is adjusted based on the analysis results. For example, if the infant has not achieved the goal, the difficulty is lowered, or if the goal has been exceeded, new content and a higher level of difficulty are provided. The progress of the infant and parents is visually represented (charts, graphs) to make it easy to understand. For example, improved sleep patterns and learning performance are visualized through weekly / monthly reports. Evaluation data is transmitted to a diagnostic module (10) to update diagnostic criteria, and transmitted to a development module to be used for program creation and improvement.

[0047] Regarding specific examples of content adjustment when program performance is poor, when the target sleep time for infants and toddlers is set to 9 hours, if the result of 2 weeks of execution shows an average sleep time of 6.5 hours and a wake-up frequency of 4 times a day, high stress and an unsuitable sleep environment for infants and toddlers may be identified as problems. In response to this, "meditation content" for stress relief and "self-care tips" for reducing parental stress are provided, and the diagnostic module (10) is modified to include a customized program according to the stress level, and new content is automatically generated through an update of the development module (30).

[0048] The infant sleep education system (1) according to the present invention includes a training module (30) that helps improve the sleep state of infants and toddlers and form stable sleep habits. The training module (30) is linked with a diagnosis module (10), a development module (20), and an evaluation / feedback module (40) to provide a training program tailored to the characteristics and needs of infants and toddlers and their parents. The training module (30) includes various functions such as mental and physical stabilization of infants and toddlers, self-regulation, formation of independent sleep habits, and optimization of the sleep environment. The pre-sleep stabilization training section (310) of the training module (30) provides training that helps infants and toddlers transition to a calm state so that they can stabilize their mental and physical state before sleep. Provided elements include quiet music, white noise, deep breathing exercises, and simple meditation content. Through this, tension before sleep is relieved, allowing for a natural transition to a state of readiness for sleep. The self-soothing training section (320) supports infants and toddlers in maintaining a sense of stability on their own and forming a self-soothing routine. The provided elements include holding a doll, using a blanket, and emotional regulation skills, which strengthen the ability to soothe and fall asleep on one's own without parental intervention. The independent sleep training section (330) helps infants and toddlers form a habit of falling asleep alone without indirect support from parents. The provided elements include gradual reduction of intervention and provision of an independent sleep routine, which gradually lowers dependence on parents to form an independent sleep habit. The sleep signal recognition training section (340) supports infants and toddlers in recognizing their own fatigue and sleep signals and transitioning to sleep preparation on their own. The provided elements include fatigue recognition training and sleep signal explanation content.

[0049] The sleep routine reinforcement training section (350) provides predictability to infants and toddlers through consistent activities and induces a natural transition to sleep. Provided elements include reading books, listening to lullabies, and setting a consistent bedtime sequence. Through routines, consistency in sleep preparation and execution is provided. The sleep environment control training section (360) creates an optimal sleep environment to support infants and toddlers in sleeping in a comfortable and stable environment. Provided elements include training in managing lighting, noise, and temperature, which minimizes sleep disturbances and provides a stable sleep environment. The communication signal training section (370) provides emotional stability through communication signals between infants and toddlers and parents. Provided elements include simple signals with parents (e.g., "Good night") and emotional stability techniques, which help infants and toddlers gain emotional stability through communication with parents and induce sleep preparation. The self-regulation reinforcement training section (380) reduces unnecessary movements and strengthens the ability to fall asleep on one's own. Provided elements include practicing lying quietly in bed and providing self-suggestion content. Through this, it supports infants and toddlers in reaching a stable sleep state on their own. The sleep time compliance training unit (390) sets and maintains regular wake-up and bedtimes. Provided elements include notifications and feedback, and a guide for stabilizing the biological rhythm. Through this, the biological rhythm is stabilized by forming regular sleep habits.

[0050] Regarding specific implementation examples for self-soothing training, assuming a situation where an infant frequently wakes up and requires parental intervention, a favorite blanket and a doll are provided for the infant's self-soothing. The infant is encouraged to hug the doll tightly upon waking, which allows the infant to find a sense of security on their own and begin to fall back asleep without parental intervention. Regarding implementation examples for independent sleep training, assuming a case where an infant has difficulty falling asleep without a parent nearby, the parent sits beside the bed during the first week and gradually increases the distance; consequently, by the third week, the infant is able to fall asleep feeling safe even when alone. As a result, dependence on parents decreases, and a habit of sleeping independently is formed.

[0051] FIG. 6 is a drawing illustrating an example of a sleep education schedule according to the present invention, and FIG. 7 is a drawing illustrating an example of a sleep education ladder according to the present invention.

[0052] Regarding sleep education schedules, the present invention implements the steps of data collection, data analysis, and schedule generation. After monitoring and analyzing the sleep patterns of infants and toddlers, it generates a customized sleep schedule for each infant and toddler and provides it visually to parents or guardians. During the data collection process, various data related to the sleep of infants and toddlers are collected in real time. This may include the infant's movement, heart rate, body temperature, and environmental noise levels. This data is used to more accurately determine the infant's state during sleep and the quality of sleep. The data analysis process performs analysis based on the collected data. It conducts an in-depth analysis of the infant's sleep patterns and identifies factors affecting the infant's sleep by considering various sleep variables such as sleep quality, frequency, and duration. The schedule generation process generates a customized sleep education schedule based on the results of the preceding data analysis. The schedule generation module of the present invention provides an optimal sleep schedule by reflecting the infant's age, growth stage, and health status. The generated schedule not only specifies sleep times but also includes environmental settings and pre-sleep preparation activities necessary for each sleep stage. Through the user interface, parents or guardians can easily view and understand the generated customized schedule, and the interface includes schedule adjustment and feedback functions, allowing parents or guardians to modify the schedule or check the infant's sleep records as needed.

[0053] In the sleep education ladder according to the present invention, the starting step identifies the sleep habits of the infant and toddler and the intervention elements they depend on. Next, in the execution of the challenge intervention, sleep intervention elements that the infant and toddler depend on during the sleep process are gradually removed to induce independent sleep. One sleep intervention is removed per day, and the intervention time is limited to within 10 minutes. Here, "intervention" refers to the distance between the infant and toddler and the parent, the use of tools necessary for sleep, sound control, and parental touch on the infant and toddler during the sleep process. If there is no resistance from the infant and toddler during this process, the process proceeds to the next intervention or terminates; if resistance occurs, it moves to the regression intervention. Next, regarding the execution of the regression intervention, the objective is to alleviate the resistance that occurred during the challenge intervention. By reapplying the removed intervention, if the relative resistance of the infant and toddler is alleviated, the process returns to the challenge intervention. If resistance persists and remains strong even after repeating the challenge-regression set n times, the process moves to the comfort intervention. The execution of the comfort intervention may require at least 5 minutes and can be adjusted depending on the situation. In the case of the comfort intervention, the infant and toddler's resistance is alleviated by restoring a portion of the removed intervention. Next, regarding the execution of the trial intervention, the goal is to help the baby adapt to the final sleep environment; this should be repeated at least three times to allow the infant to become accustomed to it, and the duration can be extended in seconds. Short comforting interventions may be added between the first and second trial sets. Once a set is completed, proceed to the next trial intervention, for example. If the total trial time exceeds 35 minutes, return to the existing sleep method. If the baby can fall asleep independently without resistance, the independent sleep goal is achieved and the intervention is terminated.

[0054] This step-by-step approach to independent sleep for infants and toddlers is a protocol designed to enable them to gradually progress toward independent sleep while receiving the necessary support at each stage. Interventions at each stage can be adjusted according to the infant's current sleep habits and dependencies, and regression and comforting interventions play a crucial role in managing resistance that the infant may experience. Pilot interventions are planned to support the infant's final adaptation to an independent sleep environment. The protocol is designed to allow caregivers to maintain a consistent approach while flexibly adjusting to the infant's individual needs. Each stage focuses on improving the infant's ability to fall asleep independently by closely observing and appropriately adjusting to their responses. Each stage is designed with the infant's psychological and physical well-being in mind, moving toward ultimate independence while minimizing failure and resistance.

[0055] FIG. 8 is a flowchart of a sleep education method according to the present invention, FIG. 9 is a flowchart of the sleep education method of FIG. 8 with artificial intelligence technology added thereto, and FIG. 10 is a drawing illustrating an application that implements sleep education according to the present invention.

[0056] As can be seen with reference to FIGS. 8 to 10, the present invention discloses a sleep education method for infants and toddlers to improve the sleep state of infants and toddlers and to provide customized sleep education. The invention is composed of a diagnosis step (S100), a customized sleep education program creation step (S200), an education execution and feedback step (S300), and a performance evaluation and improvement step (S400), and each step works organically with one another to systematically solve sleep problems of infants and toddlers and parents.

[0057] The diagnostic stage (S100) aims to secure foundational data for a customized sleep education program by analyzing the sleep status and environment of the infant and parents. Sleep consistency of the infant is evaluated by recording and analyzing the sleep start and end times, the frequency of waking up during sleep, and the average sleep time through a sleep pattern analysis device (180). Sleep stability is evaluated by recording the number of times the infant wakes up during sleep and the time it takes to fall back asleep through a sleep wake-up frequency measurement device (190). Optimal sleep environment conditions are provided to parents by measuring ambient noise, lighting, and temperature through a sleep environment evaluation device (100). Consistent behaviors performed by parents and the infant before sleep (e.g., reading a book, bathing, etc.) are recorded and analyzed through a pre-sleep routine analysis device (110) to identify areas for improvement. Stability is evaluated by analyzing the behavior of the infant falling asleep while maintaining a sense of stability on their own through a self-stability behavior evaluation device (120).

[0058] Next, the customized sleep education program generation step (S200) generates a customized education program tailored to the characteristics of the parents and infants based on the diagnosis results. Among the program generation components, the ladder function development module (210) generates a program that includes setting sleep goals for the infant, reinforcing routines, self-sedation training, improving the sleep environment, promoting interaction, and gradually adjusting sleep time. The difficulty level of the program is automatically adjusted according to the condition and needs of the parents and infants to minimize the learning burden.

[0059] Next, the education execution and feedback step (S300) executes the generated program, monitors changes in the condition of parents and infants / toddlers, and provides feedback. It monitors the progress of sleep education, collects feedback from parents and infants / toddlers, evaluates sleep status and learning progress, and immediately suggests necessary measures.

[0060] Next, the performance evaluation and improvement stage (S400) analyzes the results of the training execution and continuously optimizes the effectiveness of the program. Training execution data is stored in the database (50) for the long term and utilized for sleep pattern analysis and program improvement. Based on the analysis results, the program content and difficulty level are adjusted to promote continuous improvement.

[0061] In relation to a specific embodiment, if the problem of the infant frequently waking up at night is identified during the diagnosis step (S100), the sleep time, number of times the infant woke up, and average sleep time are recorded using a sleep pattern analysis device (180). The time taken to fall back asleep is measured using a sleep waking frequency measurement device (190). The lighting, noise, and temperature of the room are measured using a sleep environment evaluation device (S100). If it is discovered that the infant wakes up an average of three or more times and that an environment with excessively bright lighting is a sleep disturbance factor, then in the customized sleep education program creation step (S200), based on the diagnosis results, a goal is set through the ladder function development module (210) to "lower the lighting and fall back asleep on their own without parental intervention even if they wake up at night." A program including routine reinforcement and self-sedation training (hugging a doll) is created, and the program is configured to match the infant's current condition and goals, and is ready for execution. In the education execution and feedback stage (S300), parents input feedback on the infant (e.g., "woke up once during the night"), and provide real-time feedback to lower the lighting by 30% and guide the infant to repeat holding a doll. Parents and infants follow the program and gradually improve. In the performance evaluation and improvement stage (S400), results are analyzed after one month of running the education program. Education data is stored in a database (50) to analyze changes in sleep patterns. It can be confirmed that, on average, the number of times the infant wakes up during sleep decreases to one, and routine reinforcement content is added and the difficulty of the program is adjusted based on feedback from parents and infants.

[0062] The sleep education method for infants and toddlers according to the present invention utilizes an artificial intelligence-based learning module (21) to learn the state and behavioral patterns of infants and toddlers and parents, and generates and optimizes a customized sleep education program based on the learned data. In the sleep education program generation step (S210) and the education execution and feedback step (S310) of another embodiment, the present method automatically adjusts the difficulty and content of the program based on artificial intelligence technology, and immediately adjusts the content by reflecting real-time data changes occurring during execution. Through this process, parents and infants and toddlers receive systematic and personalized sleep education, and can maximize the effect of improving sleep.

[0063] For example, in the improved sleep education program creation step (S210), the AI-based learning module (21) analyzes data collected in the diagnosis step (S100) to learn the condition and behavioral patterns of the parents and infants. Through this learning, it identifies the sleep patterns of the infants and the need for parental support, and based on the learning results, creates a customized sleep education program with automatically optimized difficulty levels and content. The generated program subdivides the difficulty level through the ladder function development module (210) and designs program stages tailored to the goals of the parents and infants. In the improved education execution and feedback step (S310), the AI-based learning module (21) collects and analyzes data generated in real time during the sleep education execution. It immediately adjusts the education content by reflecting changes in the condition of the parents and infants (e.g., the number of times the infant woke up during sleep, parental feedback). Based on the data, it suggests customized content in real time, such as sleep routine reinforcement, self-sedation training, and sleep environment adjustment. It supports parents in clearly understanding the progress of the education by providing a report that visualizes the learning effects.

[0064] As a specific embodiment regarding the creation of a sleep education program, if it is confirmed during the diagnosis stage (S100) that the average sleep time of the infant is insufficient and the infant frequently wakes up at night, the AI-based learning module analyzes the infant's sleep pattern data to estimate the reason for the frequent awakenings (e.g., sleep environment problems, lack of self-stability) and creates a customized sleep education program set to a difficulty level suitable for the infant (e.g., self-sedation training, improvement of the sleep environment, etc.). The program stages provided to the parents begin with routine reinforcement and simple self-sedation activities, and are designed to gradually increase the difficulty level thereafter. Consequently, the program created by the learning module is provided to the parents and the infant. Regarding the education execution and feedback process, if the infant wakes up more frequently than expected while the parents are executing the customized sleep education program, the AI-based learning module (21) records the number of times the infant woke up during sleep and the time taken to fall back asleep in real time. Based on the pattern analysis results regarding the time of awakening, additional suggestions are made to hold a doll and use white noise. Educational content adjusted in real time according to the feedback provided to the parents is executed. In the program performance optimization process, the performance is evaluated after running an educational program for n weeks. The AI-based learning module (21) analyzes the collected data to assess whether the sleep pattern has improved. Based on the analysis results, the difficulty level of the next stage of the program is adjusted (e.g., skipping the routine reinforcement stage and switching to independent sleep training). The results are communicated to parents through a visualized report, and directions for future improvement are suggested.

[0065] The smart device (2) implementing the infant sleep education method in the embodiment of the present invention may include not only general PCs such as general desktops or laptops, but also mobile terminals such as smartphones, tablet PCs, PDAs (Personal Digital Assistants), and mobile communication terminals, and should be interpreted as any device capable of computing. The operating system of the smart device (2) may be an operating system such as Windows or Macintosh installed on general PCs such as desktops or laptops, or a mobile-specific operating system such as iOS or Android installed on mobile terminals such as smartphones or tablet PCs.
