[0028] Hereinafter, the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 1 through 13. However, this is merely illustrative and the present disclosure is not limited to the specific embodiments described illustratively.

[0029] An XYZ coordinate system may be used in this specification. The XYZ coordinate system may be a Cartesian coordinate system.

[0030] For example, the Z-axis can be parallel to the vertical direction. For instance, a positive Z-axis direction can represent the upward direction. For instance, a negative Z-axis direction can represent the downward direction.

[0031] For example, the X-axis can be parallel to the front-back direction. For instance, a positive X-axis direction can represent the forward direction. For instance, a negative X-axis direction can represent the rearward direction.

[0032] For example, the Y-axis can be parallel to the left and right directions. For instance, a positive Y-axis can represent the left direction. For instance, a negative Y-axis can represent the right direction.

[0033] FIG. 1 is a diagram showing an electrode coating device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure coating an active material layer on an electrode sheet metal layer. FIG. 2 is a diagram showing a cross-section of the electrode sheet shown in FIG. 1 cut along A1-A2.

[0034] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, the electrode sheet (20) may include an electrode sheet metal layer (21). The electrode sheet metal layer (21) may form a sheet shape.

[0035] The electrode sheet metal layer (21) may be formed from a material including metal. For example, the electrode sheet metal layer (21) may be formed from a material including at least one of aluminum and copper. The electrode sheet metal layer (21) may be referred to as a “current collector.”

[0036] The electrode sheet metal layer (21) can form two sides. For example, one side and the other side of the electrode sheet metal layer (21) can be formed opposite each other. For example, one side of the electrode sheet metal layer (21) can face upward. For example, the other side of the electrode sheet metal layer (21) can face downward.

[0037] The electrode sheet metal layer (21) can form a shape that extends in one direction. For example, the electrode sheet metal layer (21) can form a shape that extends in the front-rear direction. For example, the length direction of the electrode sheet metal layer (21) can be the front-rear direction.

[0038] The electrode sheet metal layer (21) can form a width direction. The width direction of the electrode sheet metal layer (21) may, for example, intersect the length direction of the electrode sheet metal layer (21). For example, the width direction of the electrode sheet metal layer (21) may be parallel to the Y-axis.

[0039] The electrode sheet metal layer (21) can be transported. For example, the transport roll (630) can transport the electrode sheet metal layer (21) in the longitudinal direction of the electrode sheet metal layer (21).

[0040] For example, the transfer roll (630) can transfer the electrode sheet metal layer (21) backward. For example, the transfer roll (630) can transfer the electrode sheet metal layer (21) backward.

[0042] The active material layer (22) can be applied to one or both sides of the electrode sheet metal layer (21). For example, the electrode coating device (10) can apply the active material layer (22) to one side of the electrode sheet metal layer (21).

[0043] For example, the electrode coating device (10) can apply an active material layer (22) in a slurry state to one side of the electrode sheet layer (21). The active material layer (22) applied to the electrode sheet layer (21) can be dried.

[0044] The thickness of the active material layer (22) formed on the electrode sheet (20) can be determined according to the amount of active material layer (22) drawn from the electrode coating device (10) and the transfer speed of the electrode sheet metal layer (21).

[0045] For example, the thickness distribution in the width direction of the active material layer (22) formed on the electrode sheet (20) can be determined according to the amount of active material layer (22) drawn from the electrode coating device (10) along the width of the electrode sheet (20).

[0046] Therefore, it may be necessary to measure the thickness distribution of the active material layer (22) formed on the electrode sheet (20) in real time and adjust the electrode coating device (10) according to the measured thickness distribution.

[0047] In FIG. 1, the electrode coating device (10) is shown applying an active material layer (22) to an electrode sheet metal layer (21) that is being transported forward, but the scope of the present disclosure is not limited thereto.

[0052] Multiple segments (110, 120, 130) may be arranged sequentially. For example, the lower segment (110), the middle segment (120), and the upper segment (130) may be arranged sequentially.

[0053] A plurality of segments (110, 120, 130) may be combined sequentially. For example, a slot die (100) may include a slot die adjustment unit (140) that sequentially combines a plurality of segments (110, 120, 130). The slot die adjustment unit (140) may include or refer to at least one of a first slot die adjustment unit (141) and a second slot die adjustment unit (142).

[0063] FIG. 4 is a plan view of the electrode coating device shown in FIG. 3. FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view of the electrode coating device shown in FIG. 4 taken along B1-B2. FIG. 6 is an exploded view of the electrode coating device shown in FIG. 5. For convenience of explanation, the depiction of the slot die adjustment unit (140) and the link block adjustment unit (400) in FIG. 6 may be omitted.

[0064] Referring to FIGS. 4 through 6, the base (200) may include a base body (200B). The base body (200B) may form a shape that extends in the longitudinal direction of the base body (200B). For example, the longitudinal direction of the base body (200B) may be the longitudinal direction of the lower segment (110).

[0065] For example, the base body (200B) can maintain rigidity. For example, the base body (200B) can be formed from a material including at least one of steel and stainless steel.

[0066] The base body (200B) may form an outer surface. For example, at least a portion of the lower face of the base body (200B) of the base (200) may be fixed to a fixture.

[0067] For example, the base (200) may include a base reference surface (200FR). The base reference surface (200FR) may be part of a face formed on the base body (200B).

[0068] For example, the base reference surface (200FR) may be the upper face among the surfaces formed on the base body (200B). For example, the base reference surface (200FR) may face the link block (300).

[0124] The outer bolt hollow portion (532H) may include or mean at least one of the first outer bolt hollow portion (532H1), the second outer bolt hollow portion (532H2), and the third outer bolt hollow portion (532H3).

[0125] The first outer bolt hollow (532H1), the second outer bolt hollow (532H2), and the third outer bolt hollow (532H3) may be arranged sequentially. For example, the first outer bolt hollow (532H1), the second outer bolt hollow (532H2), and the third outer bolt hollow (532H3) may be arranged sequentially along the axis of the outer bolt body (532B).

[0126] The diameter of the first outer bolt hollow (532H1) may be larger than the diameter of the second outer bolt hollow (532H2). The diameter of the second outer bolt hollow (532H2) may also be larger than the diameter of the third outer bolt hollow (532H3).
