Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a foldable chair, and more specifically, to a foldable chair that is portable outdoors and easy to install and store. Background Technology
[0002] Many people use their leisure time to relieve the fatigue and stress accumulated from work through various activities such as leisure and hobbies. Furthermore, as participation in outdoor activities like camping, hiking, and fishing gradually increases, a variety of related products are being released. When engaging in outdoor activities, users utilize folding or collapsible chairs that are lightweight, easy to carry, and convenient to store.
[0003] To reduce weight, these folding chairs are typically made of lightweight yet strong metals such as aluminum to form multiple frames, which are hinged to rotate and unfold or fold. When unfolded, the seat is placed over the frame, or the frame and seat are manufactured as a single unit for the user to sit on.
[0004] However, conventional folding chairs are operated by connecting multiple frames through hinges to open and close the chair. If connected only by hinges, there is the inconvenience of having to hold multiple parts simultaneously when folding or unfolding the chair, and there is a problem in that it is difficult to maintain sufficient structural rigidity. Prior art literature
[0005] Republic of Korea Published Patent Application No. 10-2024-0008639 (Published Jan. 19, 2024) Republic of Korea Published Utility Model Application No. 20-2014-0004691 (Published Aug. 18, 2014) The problem to be solved
[0006] The present invention enables the user to easily fold and unfold without having to hold multiple parts simultaneously during the folding and unfolding operation, and eliminates the limitation on the rotation angle of each frame during the folding and unfolding process, thereby enabling natural and smooth operation. means of solving the problem
[0007] A foldable chair according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a pair of side frames facing each other, comprising a first frame and a second frame hinged to rotate in a cross-span; a pair of connecting frames spaced apart between the pair of side frames, comprising a first support frame and a second support frame hinged to rotate in a cross-span with respect to the first frame and the second frame; and a seat portion detachably coupled to the pair of side frames and capable of supporting a user's body.
[0008] The hinge connection of the above pair of connecting frames and the above pair of side frames can be connected by a ball joint.
[0009] The second frame may include a connecting frame that is hinged (H1) to the first frame, and a moving frame that can be inserted into the connecting frame and can reciprocate in one direction along the length of the connecting frame.
[0010] The hinge (H1) may be eccentric at the intersection center (C1) where the width direction center of the coupling frame and the width direction center of the second frame intersect, so as not to interfere with the movement of the movable frame.
[0011] One end of the above-mentioned seat portion is attached to the above-mentioned movable frame, and the other end of the above-mentioned seat portion is attached to the above-mentioned first frame, and a support member coupled to the above-mentioned movable frame may be embedded in one end of the above-mentioned seat portion.
[0012] An opening is formed at one end of the above-mentioned seat portion so that the support member is exposed, and it may further include a neck support portion that wraps around the exposed support member portion.
[0013] The above neck support part has a cushion and can be made of the bag of the above-mentioned folding chair.
[0014] A fitting groove is formed at one end of the first frame to receive the other end of the seat portion, and a fitting member is formed at the other end of the seat portion, and the fitting member is fitted into the fitting groove so that the other end of the seat portion can be coupled with the first frame. Effects of the invention
[0015] According to embodiments of the present invention, by connecting each frame with a ball joint, the folding and unfolding of the frame is made easy. In addition, by utilizing a bag as a neck support, storage is made easy when the folding chair is not in use. Furthermore, by connecting a lightweight polymer material to each frame, the overall rigidity is maintained while the weight can be reduced.
[0016] According to embodiments of the present invention, a first frame and a second frame are hinge-coupled so as to intersect and rotate with each other, and a pair of side frames including these and a pair of connecting frames are combined together to form a structurally stable frame.
[0017] According to embodiments of the present invention, a pair of connecting frames and a pair of side frames are hinge-connected using a ball joint, allowing for freer rotation than conventional simple hinge methods and facilitating smoother folding operations. This enables the user to easily fold and unfold the chair, and when not in use, it can be stored with minimal volume, thereby maximizing space utilization and offering the advantage of being easily operated according to the user's needs.
[0018] According to embodiments of the present invention, the hinge (H1) is positioned eccentrically at the intersection center (C1) where the width direction center of the connecting frame and the width direction center of the second frame intersect, so as not to interfere with the movement of the movable frame. Through this, the hinge connection does not hinder the movement of the movable frame, and smooth operation and stable fixation of the movable frame are possible. Therefore, it can be operated conveniently by the user and can be utilized as a customized product by providing a flexible adjustment function compared to conventional folding chairs.
[0019] According to embodiments of the present invention, one end of the seat portion is configured to be attached to a movable frame and the other end to be attached to a first frame, so that when a user's load is applied, the seat portion naturally maintains tension and is stably supported. In particular, a support member that is coupled to the movable frame is built into one end of the seat portion, so that tension can be adjusted while the seat portion maintains a constant shape when seated, and the load is evenly distributed according to the user's weight. Through these structural features, the user can feel a more comfortable seating sensation, and the durability of the seat portion is increased, so there is an advantage that the shape does not deform even after long-term use.
[0020] According to embodiments of the present invention, an opening is formed at one end of the seat portion to expose a support member, and a neck support portion that wraps around the exposed support member is added to maximize user convenience. The neck support portion is designed to include a cushion to effectively support the neck and head when seated and serves to minimize fatigue even during prolonged use. In addition, since a bag is used as the neck support portion, it offers superior portability and mobility compared to conventional folding chairs and can be utilized in various environments such as outdoor activities or camping.
[0021] According to embodiments of the present invention, a fitting groove is formed at one end of a first frame so that the other end of the seat portion can be stably fixed, and a fitting member is formed at the other end of the seat portion to be joined together. This enhances the fixation of the seat portion and prevents the seat portion from detaching during use. Furthermore, this joining structure allows the user to easily assemble and disassemble the chair without the need for separate tools, thereby offering the advantage of easy maintenance and replacement. Accordingly, the folding chair possesses structural advantages that enhance durability and maximize user convenience. Brief explanation of the drawing

[0025] Then, a foldable chair according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 9.
[0026] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a foldable chair according to one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the foldable chair shown in FIG. 1, showing a state in which the seat portion is not provided, and FIG. 3 is a partial enlarged view of part A shown in FIG. 1. FIG. 4 is a drawing showing a state in which the seat portion of the foldable chair according to one embodiment of the present invention is attached, FIG. 5 is a drawing showing a state in which the neck support portion of FIG. 1 is attached to the seat portion, FIG. 6 is a drawing showing a folded state of the foldable chair according to one embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 7 is a drawing showing a state in which the seat portion is attached to a side frame according to one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 8 is a drawing showing a state in which a lightweight member is attached to a side frame according to one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 9 is a drawing showing a state in which the side frame is separated from the lightweight member according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0027] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 9, the foldable chair according to the present embodiment includes a side frame (10), a connecting frame (20), and a seat portion (30).
[0028] The side frame (10) is formed long in one direction and is provided as a pair, and is connected to each other by crossing. It includes a first frame (110) and a second frame (120) that are hinge-connected to rotate in opposite directions.
[0029] The first frame (110) and the second frame (120) are connected by a hinge (H1) so that they can rotate in opposite directions. When the folding chair is folded, the first frame (110) and the second frame (120) can be stacked on top of each other.
[0030] The second frame (120) includes a connecting frame (121) and a moving frame (122). The connecting frame (121) is a frame connected to the first frame (110) by a hinge (H1), and the moving frame (122) is a frame that can be inserted into the connecting frame (121) and can reciprocate in one direction along the length direction of the connecting frame (121). Here, the hinge (H1) is eccentric at the intersection center (C1) where the width direction center (212C) of the connecting frame (212) and the width direction center (120C) of the second frame (120) intersect, so that the moving frame (122) does not interfere with the hinge (H1) when it moves. Therefore, the hinge (H1) does not hinder the movement of the moving frame (122), and the moving frame (122) can operate smoothly and be stably fixed.
[0031] Since the moving frame (122) can be moved to the inside of the connecting frame (121), the total length of the folding chair can be reduced when storing it compared to when the user unfolds the folding chair for use.
[0032] Meanwhile, the length dimensions of the movable frame (122) and the combined frame (121) are the same. Accordingly, the entire length of the movable frame (122) can be inserted into the interior of the combined frame (121). When the movable frame (122) is inserted into the interior of the combined frame (121), the volume of the folding chair can be minimized. Since the movable frame (122) is completely inserted into the interior of the combined frame (121), the movable frame (122) and the combined frame (121) are structurally stablely connected.
[0033] Referring to FIG. 2, when the movable frame (122) is moved to the outside of the coupling frame (121), the projection (1221) formed on the movable frame (122) engages with the projection groove of the coupling frame (121), thereby restricting the movement of the movable frame (122) so that the foldable chair according to one embodiment of the present invention can be stably unfolded.
[0034] The projection (1221) can move elastically by means of an elastic member, such as a spring, inside the movable frame (122). Since this structure is a known structure, a detailed description and drawings are omitted.
[0035] Additionally, a stopper (1222) is formed on the opposite side of the movable frame (122) on which the protrusion (1221) is formed. The stopper (1222) is formed to protrude outward from the movable frame (122). Therefore, when the movable frame (122) is inserted into the coupling frame (121) and moved, the stopper (1222) catches on the coupling frame (121), thereby restricting the movement of the movable frame (122). Although not shown, another protrusion groove may be formed at a position spaced apart from the protrusion groove shown in FIG. 2 by the length of the movable frame (122). When inserting the movable frame (122) into the inner side of the coupling frame (121), movement is restricted by a stopper (1222) formed at the top of the movable frame, and a projection (1221) formed at the bottom is inserted into a stopper groove formed at the bottom of the coupling frame (121), thereby fixing the movable frame (122) so that it does not move after being inserted into the inner side of the coupling frame (121).
[0036] Meanwhile, after moving the movable frame (122) to the outside of the connecting frame (121), the seat portion (30) can be inserted into the movable frame (122) to connect the seat portion (30) to the frame. Thus, the movable frame (122) can serve to adjust its length according to the usage and storage conditions of the foldable chair according to one embodiment of the present invention, and at the same time, can serve to connect the seat portion (30).
[0037] A seating groove (1223) is formed at one end of the movable frame (122). As will be described later, the seating groove (1223) is a member that allows the support member (35) to be connected. The support member (35) is connected to the seating groove (1223) and can be fixed so that it cannot move in the direction of the connecting frame (121).
[0038] Meanwhile, a lightweight member (130) can be fitted and coupled to both ends of the side frame (10). Specifically, a lightweight member (130) can be fitted and coupled to both ends of the first frame (110) and the coupling frame (121).
[0039] The side frame (10) may be made of aluminum, steel, etc. for strength. In this case, there may be a problem with weight reduction, so a part of the side frame (10) may be formed as a lightweight member (130). The lightweight member (130) may be formed from a polymer material, for example. The polymer material may be acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS), polypropylene (PP), polyoxymethylene (POM), polycarbonate (PC), polyamide (PA), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene (PE), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), etc. The polymer material may be selected according to the environment and required characteristics (strength, heat resistance, transparency, etc.).
[0040] In this way, when materials such as aluminum and steel are used in combination with polymer materials, both strength and lightweighting can be satisfied.
[0041] At this time, referring to FIG. 9, a fixing part (131) may be protruded from one end of the lightweight member (130) that is coupled to the side frame (10), and a fixing groove (112) into which the fixing part (131) is inserted may be formed at both ends of the side frame (10) that is coupled to the lightweight member (130), specifically the first frame (110) and the second frame (120), corresponding to the fixing part (131) that is protruded.
[0042] In the lightweight member (130), at one end where the fixing part (131) is formed, cut grooves may be formed on both sides of the fixing part (131) in the longitudinal direction of the lightweight member (130). As a result, the fixing part (131) can move elastically in the protruding direction of the fixing part (131).
[0043] The side frame (10) and the lightweight member (130) can be combined by inserting the fixing part (131) into the fixing groove (112). Thus, the side frame (10) and the lightweight member (130) can be firmly combined without a separate adhesive process or fastening member. Conversely, the fixing part (131) may be formed protruding from the side frame (10), and the fixing groove (112) may be formed penetrating the lightweight member (130).
[0044] The connecting frame (20) is provided as a pair like the side frame (10) and includes a first support frame (21) and a second support frame (22) that are connected to one end and the other end of the pair of side frames (10) respectively and are hinge-connected to each other so as to rotate in different directions.
[0045] Specifically, referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, one end of the first support frame (21) is connected to the bottom of the second frame (120), and the other end of the first support frame (21) is connected to the top of the first frame (110) which is spaced apart from the second frame (120). The second support frame (22) is connected to the first support frame (21) in an approximately X-shape, so that one end of the second support frame (22) is connected to the top of the first frame (110), and the other end of the second support frame (22) is connected to the bottom of the second frame (120) which is spaced apart from the first frame (110).
[0046] The first support frame (21) and the second support frame (22) can be connected by crossing in an X shape and hinged to each other so that they can rotate in opposite directions. When the first support frame (21) and the second support frame (22) rotate in opposite directions, they can overlap each other just like the first frame (110) and the second frame (120).
[0047] At this time, the first support frame (21) is inserted into the first joint (23), and the second support frame (22) is inserted into the second joint (24), and the first joint (23) and the second joint (24) can be hinge-connected to each other so as to be rotatable.
[0048] When the first joint (23) and the second joint (24) are connected to the connecting frame (20), the central part of the connecting frame (20) can be formed into a double structure with the first joint (23) and the second joint (24), thereby increasing the safety of the connecting frame (20).
[0049] Meanwhile, referring to FIG. 3, the side frame (10) and the connecting frame (20) are connected by a ball joint.
[0050] In this way, when the side frame (10) and the connecting frame (20) are connected by a ball joint, each frame can be adjusted at a different angle even on uneven or sloped floors, thereby increasing stability. Additionally, structurally, the user's load can be distributed in multiple directions, preventing the load from concentrating at a specific point, thus ensuring good balance and reducing wear. Furthermore, asymmetric loads generated when the user moves after sitting on the folding chair can also be evenly distributed.
[0051] The seat portion (30) is a member that is detachably connected to the side frame (10) and supports the user's body when the user sits on it. A support member (35) is built into one end of the seat portion (30). The support member (35) is formed to be long in one direction and, when the seat portion (30) is connected to the side frame (10), can serve as the frame of a foldable chair according to one embodiment of the present invention.
[0052] Referring to FIG. 4, the support member (35) can be embedded in one end of the seat portion (30) and then fixed with a separate fixing member (36). The fixing member (36) may be a member such as a rivet or a bolt. When the support member (35) is fixed to the seat portion (30) with the fixing member (36) in this manner, the support member (35) does not move from the seat portion (30), so the position of the support member (35) can be fixed. In addition, when the support member (35) is fixed with the fixing member (36) while the seat portion (30) is kept taut on both sides, the tension of the seat portion (30) can be maintained. Therefore, even when a user sits on the seat portion (30), the tension of the seat portion (30) is maintained, providing the user with a comfortable seating sensation.
[0053] Meanwhile, when the direction in which the user sits is referred to as the front, at least a portion of both sides of one end of the seat portion (30) in which the support member (35) is built-in is rolled toward the rear to form an insertion groove, and the seat portion (30) is inserted into the movable frame (122) by inserting the insertion grooves on both sides of the seat portion (30) into the movable frame (122) to connect the seat portion (30) to the movable frame (122). Conversely, when the foldable chair according to one embodiment of the present invention is not in use, the seat portion (30) can be removed from the movable frame (122) to separate and store the seat portion (30), the side frame (10), and the connecting frame (20). However, conversely, the insertion groove may be formed by being rolled toward the front direction of the seat portion (30).
[0054] The seat portion (30) may include a backrest portion (31), a buttock support portion (32), and a connecting member (33).
[0055] The backrest (31) is a member that supports the user's back, and can stably support the user's back when the user sits on the seat (30) after the seat (30) is connected to the side frame (10) due to the support (35) built into the seat (30).
[0056] An opening (34) may be formed in the central part of the backrest (31) so that a support (35) is exposed.
[0057] The neck support (40) can be connected to the support (35) through the opening (34). An explanation related to this will be provided later.
[0058] The buttock support member (32) is a member that extends from the backrest member (31) and supports the user's buttocks. Referring to FIG. 7, a fitting member (37) may be extended from the buttock support member (32). The fitting member (37) is located at the rear of the buttock support member (32) and extends from the other end of the buttock support member (32) toward one end. By inserting the fitting member (37) into the fitting groove (111) formed in the first frame (110), the seat member (30) can be stably connected to the side frame (10).
[0059] Specifically, a fitting groove (111) is formed at one end of the first frame (110) that contacts the seat portion (30). The fitting groove (111) is a groove formed inwardly at one end of the first frame (110) that contacts the seat portion (30), and may be formed in a straight shape, but may also be formed in a curved shape as shown in FIG. 7.
[0060] Meanwhile, conventional methods involve manufacturing the connection point between the seat and the frame in a three-dimensional, hole-cup shape. The end of the frame is then inserted and hung into this opening. With this design, the load concentrated inward on the frame is transferred entirely to the seat. In this case, the load is concentrated on the hole-cup shaped area, increasing the risk of damage.
[0061] However, as illustrated in Fig. 11, the connection between the fitting member (37) of the seat portion (30) of the folding chair according to the present embodiment and the lightweight member (130) is formed by fitting into the 'L'-shaped fitting groove (111) of the lightweight member (130). Accordingly, the connection portion is distributed in the horizontal and vertical directions, and the load transmitted to the seat portion (30) is also distributed in the horizontal and vertical directions. Furthermore, since the 'L'-shaped fitting groove (111) is fixed in close contact with the inner direction where the load is formed, there is an effect of further distributing the load.
[0062] In addition, when manufactured in a three-dimensional shape, the number of sewing parts increases, which increases the risk of defects and damage. However, the insertion member (37) of the sheet part (30) can be made in a flat shape, allowing for minimal sewing processing, which simplifies manufacturing and reduces the risk of defects and damage.
[0063] The connecting member (33) is a member that connects the backrest (31) and the buttock support (32) so that the backrest (31) and the buttock support (32) maintain a predetermined angle.
[0064] Referring to FIG. 4, a pair of connecting members (33) are provided, each having one end connected to the side of the backrest (31) and the other end connected to the side of the buttock support (32). When a user sits on the seat (30), the connecting members (33) connect the backrest (31) and the buttock support (32), so the buttock support (32) and the backrest (31) connected to the connecting members (33) do not move to the rear. In contrast, if the backrest (31) and the buttock support (32) are not connected by the connecting members (33), when a user sits, the buttock support (32) and the backrest (31) may move to the rear due to the user's body weight, which may reduce the seating comfort.
[0065] Referring to FIG. 5, a foldable chair according to one embodiment of the present invention may further include a neck support (40) utilizing a bag. The bag has an air mesh structure. A fabric is arranged along the length direction in a part of the bag. The fabric may contain an antibacterial material.
[0066] The neck support (40) can be connected to the support (35) through the opening (34) of the seat portion (30). As shown in FIGS. 5(a) and (b), the neck support (40), which is formed long in one direction, can be connected to the support (35) by wrapping it around. The neck support (40) is wrapped around the support (35) so that the fabric portion is positioned in the center.
[0067] At this time, referring to FIG. 6, a connecting part (41) may be formed at one end of the neck support part (40). The connecting part (41) may be Velcro, a button, a magnet, etc. After connecting the neck support part (40) to the support (35) by wrapping it as in FIG. 5, the neck support part (40) can be fixed using the connecting part (41) to maintain the wrapped state.
[0068] In this way, the neck support (40) can be provided as shown in FIG. 1 by wrapping it around the support (35) and then fixing the wrapped state using the connecting part (41). In this case, the user's neck can be comfortably supported, thereby improving the user experience. The fabric part can come into contact with the seat portion (30) and the seat's neck. The fabric part can prevent the growth of bacteria, such as those caused by sweat, through an antibacterial substance.
[0069] Meanwhile, a bag capable of storing a seat portion (30), a side frame (10), and a connecting frame (20) according to one embodiment of the present invention can be used as a neck support portion (40).
[0070] The neck support (40) has a storage space formed inside, so when the foldable chair according to one embodiment of the present invention is not in use, the seat part (30) can be separated from the side frame (10), and the side frame (10) and the connecting frame (20) can be folded and the seat part (30), side frame (10), and connecting frame (20) can be inserted into a bag (neck support (40)) for storage.
[0071] Hereinafter, the method of use and effects of a foldable chair according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 to 9.
[0072] Referring to FIG. 6, a foldable chair according to one embodiment of the present invention may include a neck support (40) that utilizes a bag for storing the foldable chair, a side frame and a connecting frame (20) connected thereto, and a seat part (30).
[0073] For ease of storage, when the folding chair is not in use, the side frame (10) and the connecting frame (20) are rotated so that each frame is stacked to reduce volume. Additionally, the seat portion (30) can be separated from the side frame (10) for storage.
[0074] When using a foldable chair according to one embodiment of the present invention, the side frame (10) and the connecting frame (20) are taken out of the bag containing the foldable chair and each frame is rotated and unfolded. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 8, the first frame (110) and the second frame (120) are each rotated and unfolded into an X shape. At this time, a lightweight member (130) is connected to both ends of the side frame (10) and the connecting frame (20). The lightweight member (130) is formed of a material that is lighter than the side frame (10) and the connecting frame (20), so the total weight of the foldable chair can be reduced.
[0075] Referring to FIG. 9, a fixing part (131) protrudes from the lightweight member (130), and a fixing groove (112) corresponding to the fixing part (131) is formed through each of the side frame (10) and the connecting frame (20), so that the lightweight member (130) can be connected to each frame by inserting the fixing part (131) into the fixing groove (112). That is, the lightweight member (130) can be easily connected to the side frame (10) and the connecting frame (20) without using separate fastening members such as adhesive or bolts.
[0076] Additionally, referring to FIG. 3, the side frame (10) is connected to the connecting frame (20) by a ball joint. Therefore, when folding or unfolding the connecting frame (20), the connecting frame (20) can rotate freely relative to the side frame (10), and the connecting frame (20) and the side frame (10) can be stably unfolded and installed even if the ground is uneven.
[0077] Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 2, the movable frame (122) is moved outward from the coupling frame (121) to extend the length of the second frame (120). At this time, by inserting the projection (1221) formed on the movable frame (122) into the projection groove formed on the coupling frame (121), the movement of the movable frame (122) is restricted and the movable frame (122) is simultaneously fixed to the coupling frame (121).
[0078] Subsequently, as illustrated in FIGS. 4 and 7, the seat portion (30) is connected to the side frame (10). Specifically, the fitting member (37), which is extended from the buttock support portion (32), is inserted into the fitting groove (111) of the first frame (110), and the backrest portion (31) is inserted into the movable frame (122) to connect the seat portion (30) to the side frame (10). Alternatively, it may be inserted into the side frame (10) first and then inserted into the fitting groove (111) later. That is, the order of connecting the seat portion (30) to the side frame (10) may be at the user's convenience.
[0079] At this time, the insertion groove (111) is formed in a curve so that the seat portion (30) can be firmly connected to the side frame (10).
[0080] Additionally, a support member (35) is embedded in the seat portion (30), and the support member (35) and the seat portion (30) are fixed by a fixing member (36), so that the seat portion (30) can be connected to the side frame (10) in a state where it is elastically connected to the support member (35). By placing the support member (35) in a seating groove (1223) formed in the side frame (10), the position of the support member (35) is fixed without moving from the side frame (10), and the seat portion (30) can be connected to the side frame (10).
[0081] Afterwards, as shown in FIG. 5, the neck support (40), which had housed the seat portion (30), side frame (10), and connecting frame (20), can be wrapped around the support (35) exposed through the opening (34) and then fixed with the connecting portion (41) to connect the neck support (40) to the support (35).
[0082] Even when a user sits on the foldable chair assembled as shown in FIG. 1, the backrest (31) and the buttock support (32) are connected by a connecting member (33) so that they maintain a predetermined angle, thereby improving the seating comfort. Additionally, the side frame (10) and the connecting frame (20) are connected by a ball joint so that the rotation angle is not limited to a specific angle, so the seating comfort can be maintained even when the ground is uneven.
[0083] FIG. 10 is a perspective view of a foldable chair according to another embodiment of the present invention.
[0084] A foldable chair according to another embodiment of the present invention may retain the features according to FIGS. 1 to 9 to the extent that they do not conflict with what is described below.
[0085] According to another embodiment of the present invention, an armrest (50) and a rocking support (60) may be further included.
[0086] The armrest portion (50) has a groove formed on the inner side corresponding to the thickness of the side frame (10) so that it can be connected to the side frame (10) by fitting it in. Alternatively, clamps or the like are connected to both ends of the armrest portion (50), so that it can be connected to the side frame (10) using the clamps.
[0087] The rocking support (60) has a groove formed on its upper surface into which a lightweight member (130) can be inserted, so that the lightweight member (130) can be inserted and connected to the rocking support (60). When the rocking support (60) is connected, the foldable chair, such as a rocking chair, can rotate within a predetermined range, thereby providing comfort to the user.
[0088] Meanwhile, although not illustrated, a heating mat or a cooling mat can be connected to at least a part of the seat portion (30). For example, a heating mat or a cooling mat can be placed over the seat portion (30) and connected.
[0089] Although preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail above, the scope of the present invention is not limited thereto, and various modifications and improvements by those skilled in the art using the basic concept of the present invention as defined in the following claims also fall within the scope of the present invention.
