Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a dishwasher, and more specifically, to a dishwasher equipped with a heat pump system for heating washing water. Background Technology

[0002] The content described in this section merely provides background information regarding the present invention and does not constitute prior art.

[0003] A dishwasher is a device that uses detergent and washing water to clean dirt, such as food residue, stuck to dishes or cooking utensils.

[0004] A typical dishwasher includes a tub that provides a washing space, a rack provided within the tub for holding dishes, a spray arm that sprays wash water onto the rack, a sump that stores wash water, and a pump that supplies wash water stored in the sump to the spray arm.

[0005] The washing water used in a dishwasher may be at room temperature, but using high-temperature washing water can improve washing efficiency and reduce washing time. Therefore, washing or rinsing of dishes can be performed using high-temperature washing water in at least some of the processes during the operation of the dishwasher.

[0006] A heating device for heating the washing water may be equipped with, for example, an electric heater of the electric heating type, a heat pump system, etc.

[0007] Since heat pump systems are more energy-efficient than electric heaters, the adoption of heat pump systems for heating wash water in dishwashers has been increasing recently.

[0008] A heat pump system may be equipped with a condenser that heats the wash water by exchanging heat between the high-temperature refrigerant and the relatively low-temperature wash water. The wash water can be heated to a high temperature as it passes through the condenser.

[0009] In the condenser, the refrigerant and the wash water can flow separately. Accordingly, heat is transferred from the high-temperature refrigerant to the wash water, causing the refrigerant to condense and the wash water to heat. To increase the interface between the wash water and the refrigerant—that is, the heat transfer surface area—the flow path of the wash water may be composed of multiple tubes.

[0010] Since multiple tubes are arranged in the condenser, the flushing water may flow through a single large-diameter pipe and then through a small-diameter tube. Due to the relatively small diameter of this tube, clogging may occur.

[0011] Wash water flowing through the tubes can circulate through the dishwasher by the wash pump. As a result, as dishwashing proceeds, foreign substances attached to the surface of the dishes may be contained in the circulating wash water.

[0012] If foreign substances contained in the flushing water enter a tube with a small diameter, they may not be able to pass through the tube and can adhere to the inner surface of the tube. If this flushing water circulation process continues, the amount of foreign substances adhering to the inner surface of the tube may continue to increase.

[0013] Therefore, continuous use of the dishwasher causes foreign matter to accumulate inside the tubes, which can impair the flow of wash water in the condenser. If this phenomenon persists, at least some of the tubes may eventually become clogged, leading to a more rapid deterioration in wash water flow.

[0014] As a result, damage to the condenser may occur, the dishwasher's operation may deteriorate, and in severe cases, the dishwasher may stop working.

[0015] Therefore, a structure is required to prevent the accumulation of foreign substances contained in the washing water inside the condenser and to filter out such substances. Furthermore, this foreign substance structure needs to be designed to decompose easily so that the filtered and accumulated foreign substances can be easily removed. The problem to be solved

[0016] The object of the present invention is to provide a dishwasher equipped with a heat pump system.

[0017] In addition, the objective of the present invention is to provide a dishwasher having a structure that prevents foreign substances contained in the washing water from accumulating inside the condenser of a heat pump system.

[0018] In addition, the objective of the present invention is to provide a dishwasher equipped with a filter that prevents foreign substances contained in the washing water flowing into the condenser from entering the condenser.

[0019] In addition, the objective of the present invention is to provide a dishwasher having a structure that allows for easy disassembly of the filter unit so that cleaning of the filter unit is easy.

[0068] In the dishwasher according to the present invention, the washing water discharged from the washing pump may pass through a filter section and flow into the condenser. After foreign substances contained in the washing water circulating in the filter section are filtered out, the water may flow into the condenser.

[0069] As a result, the flushing water can flow into multiple small-diameter tubes with most of the contained foreign substances removed. Accordingly, the clogging of the condenser piping by foreign substances contained in the flushing water can be very effectively suppressed.

[0070] In addition, in the dishwasher according to the present invention, for cleaning the filter, the filter can be detachably coupled to the condenser.

[0071] Accordingly, the operator can effectively prevent the filter from clogging by separating the filter from the condenser and cleaning it. As a result, the performance of the dishwasher can be improved.

[0072] In addition, in the dishwasher according to the present invention, the operator can easily attach or detach the filter unit from the dishwasher by attaching or detaching the clamp. Accordingly, the cleaning of the filter unit can be easily performed, thereby providing convenience to the operator.

[0073] In addition, in the dishwasher according to the present invention, the filter portion may include a filter protrusion. In addition, the filter protrusion may include a tip portion positioned upstream of the flowing dishwashing water. The tip portion may be provided with a convex curved surface facing upstream of the flowing dishwashing water.

[0074] Due to this structure, foreign matter does not accumulate on the tip positioned at the tube inlet; thus, even when significant amounts of foreign matter have accumulated in the filter, the wash water can flow smoothly through the filter and condenser. Consequently, malfunctions and breakdowns of the dishwasher caused by filter clogging can be reduced. Furthermore, maintenance of the dishwasher becomes more convenient as the interval for disassembling the filter and condenser to clean the filter is extended.

[0075] In addition, the dishwasher according to the present invention may have a structure that facilitates the disassembly of the filter unit. Accordingly, the method of disassembling the dishwasher can facilitate cleaning or replacement of the filter unit. Thus, the convenience of operation can be improved.

[0084] FIG. 1 is a cross-sectional view of a dishwasher according to one embodiment. A dishwasher according to one embodiment may include a case (11) forming an exterior, a tub (12) in which dishes to be washed are received, a door (20) provided on the front of the tub (12) to open and close the tub (12), and a sump (100) provided on the lower side of the tub (12) in which washing water is stored.

[0085] Additionally, the dishwasher may include a plurality of spray arms (13, 14, 15) provided in a tub (12) for spraying washing water, a filter (110) provided in a sump (100) for filtering washing water sprayed from at least one of the plurality of spray arms (13, 14, 15) and recovered to the sump (100), a washing pump (150) for transporting washing water stored in the sump (100), and a switching valve (130) for flowing washing water transported by the washing pump (150) to at least one of the plurality of spray arms (13, 14, 15).

[0086] The tub (11) is formed in the shape of a cuboid with an open front, and a washing chamber (12a) can be formed inside. A communication hole is formed in the bottom (12b) of the tub (11) through which washing water flows into the sump (100). The washing chamber (12a) is provided with a plurality of racks (16, 17) for storing items to be washed. The plurality of racks (16, 17) may include a lower rack (16) positioned at the bottom of the washing chamber (12a) and an upper rack (17) positioned at the top. The lower rack (16) and the upper rack (17) are spaced apart vertically and can be slid out toward the front of the tub (11).

[0087] A plurality of spray arms (13, 14, 15) are arranged in an up-and-down direction. [0088] A plurality of spray arms (13, 14, 15) receive washing water from a washing pump (150) through a plurality of spray arm connecting channels (18, 19, 21). The plurality of spray arm connecting channels (18, 19, 21) may include a lower spray arm connecting channel (18) connected to a lower spray arm (13), an upper spray arm connecting channel (19) connected to an upper spray arm (14), and a tower spray arm connecting channel (21) connected to a tower spray arm (15).

[0089] The lower sandstone (13), upper sandstone (14) and tower sandstone (15) can each receive washing water from the washing pump (150) through the upper sandstone connecting channel (18), upper sandstone connecting channel (19), and tower sandstone connecting channel (21).

[0091] Washing water sprayed through multiple spray arms (13, 14, 15) falls to the bottom (12b) of the tub (12) along with contaminants adhering to the object to be washed. Accordingly, the dishware containing contaminants passes through a filter (110) arranged to communicate with the bottom (12b) of the tub (12), thereby filtering out the contaminants and allowing it to be stored in the sump (100).

[0092] During the washing operation, the washing water can wash dishes contained in the rack (16, 17) while circulating through the sump (100), spray arms (13, 14, 15), tub (12), and filter (110).

[0093] The washing pump (150) supplies washing water stored in the sump (100) to at least one of a plurality of spray arms (13, 14, 15). The washing pump (150) may include a washing motor that generates rotational force and an impeller that is rotated by the washing motor to transport washing water. The washing pump (150) may be connected to a switching valve (130) and a washing water supply path (180).

[0094] When the washing pump (150) is driven, the washing water stored in the sump (100) flows into the washing pump (150) through the collection channel (170) and can then be transferred to the switching valve (130) through the washing water supply channel (180).

[0095] The switching valve (130) selectively supplies washing water, which is transported by the washing pump (150), to at least one of the lower part sand arm (13), the upper part sand arm (14), and the top part sand arm (15). The switching valve (130) can selectively connect at least one of the washing water supply path (180) and the plurality of sand arm connection paths (18, 19, 21).

[0096] The sump (100) is connected to a water supply channel (23) through which washing water supplied from an external water source flows. The water supply channel (23) may be equipped with a water supply valve (22) that controls the washing water supplied from the external water source. The water supply valve (22) can supply washing water from the external water source to the sump (100). When the water supply valve (22) is opened, the washing water supplied from the external water source can flow into the sump (100) through the water supply channel (23).

[0097] A sump (100) may be connected to a drain channel (24) that drains washing water to the outside of the dishwasher. A drain pump (25) that drains washing water within the sump (100) through the drain channel (24) may be provided in the drain channel (24). When the drain pump (25) is operated, washing water stored in the sump (100) can be drained to the outside of the case (11) through the drain channel (24).

[0098] A heating device for heating the washing water may be provided inside the sump (100) or in the washing pump (150). The heating device may be provided, for example, as an electric heater, a heat pump system, etc.

[0099] In the embodiment, the washing water can be heated using a heat pump system. The heat pump system will be described first below.

[0100] A heat pump system is a system that pumps heat from a low-temperature environment to a high-temperature environment. At this time, such heat pumping can be implemented, for example, using a compressor (500). In an embodiment, a heat pump system can be implemented using a so-called two-phase flow refrigeration cycle, in which the temperature of the refrigerant is raised by compressing the two-phase flowing refrigerant in a gaseous state using a compressor (500).

[0101] A heat pump system carrying out a two-phase flow refrigeration cycle may include a compressor (500), a condenser (300), an expansion device, and an evaporator (600). Each of these components is connected to one another by piping, and as the refrigerant flows and circulates through these components, a phase change occurs and the temperature changes, allowing it to absorb heat from the surroundings or release heat to the surroundings.

[0102] The refrigerant may be introduced into the compressor (500) in a low-temperature gaseous state. In the compressor (500), the refrigerant may be compressed. At the outlet of the compressor (500), the refrigerant may be introduced into the condenser (300) in a superheated gaseous state at high temperature and high pressure.

[0103] In the condenser (300), the refrigerant and the washing water can flow separately. The refrigerant flows into the condenser (300) and exchanges heat with the washing water, and the washing water can be heated by receiving heat from the refrigerant.

[0104] The refrigerant can undergo a phase change from a superheated gaseous state to a saturated state where liquid and gas coexist while maintaining the same pressure in the condenser (300).

[0105] The refrigerant is introduced into the condenser (300) in a superheated state and transfers heat to the washing water, causing the temperature to drop. When it reaches a saturated state, the proportion of liquid can theoretically increase gradually at the same temperature. During this liquefaction process, the refrigerant releases a large amount of heat of liquefaction, and the washing water can be heated by receiving this heat.

[0106] The refrigerant may be introduced into the expansion device in a saturated liquid or super-cooled liquid state from the condenser (300). This expansion device may be equipped with, for example, an expansion valve or a capillary device.

[0107] The refrigerant can undergo adiabatic expansion in the expansion device, that is, theoretically, an expansion with the same enthalpy. During this expansion process, a portion of the refrigerant vaporizes, and consequently, the pressure of the refrigerant can be lowered. As a portion of the refrigerant vaporizes and releases heat of vaporization to the surroundings, the temperature of the entire refrigerant can be lowered. In other words, as the refrigerant passes through the expansion device, it can enter the evaporator (600) in a low-temperature and low-pressure state.

[0108] The refrigerant introduced into the evaporator (600) can gradually increase the proportion of gas while absorbing heat from the surroundings, which are at a relatively high temperature. In the evaporator (600), the proportion of gas can gradually increase while theoretically maintaining the same pressure and the same temperature.

[0109] The refrigerant discharged from the evaporator (600) may flow into the compressor (500) with some liquid present or slightly superheated. The refrigerant flowing into the compressor (500) may circulate through the compressor (500), condenser (300), expansion device, and evaporator (600) while repeating the process described above.

[0110] Typically, a refrigeration device is a device that utilizes the absorption of heat by a refrigerant in an evaporator (600). The heat pump system of the embodiment can utilize the heat released by the refrigerant in a condenser (300).

[0111] In a heat pump system, heat exchange occurs between a high-temperature refrigerant and a relatively low-temperature washing water in a condenser (300), and the washing water can be heated accordingly. The high-temperature washing water heated by the condenser (300) can wash or rinse dishes more easily compared to when it is at room temperature.

[0112] Meanwhile, this heat pump system does not need to always operate while the dishwasher is running. For example, when washing or rinsing with room temperature water, the compressor (500) is not operated, so that room temperature water can be sprayed onto the dishes without heating the washing water.

[0113] Even when the compressor (500) is stopped and the washing water is not heated, the washing water can pass through the condenser (300) and circulate throughout the dishwasher.

[0114] In another embodiment, by forming a bypass path that bypasses the condenser (300), the cleaning water can be diverted to the bypass path when the compressor (500) stops operating, thereby improving the performance of the condenser (300) and extending its lifespan.

[0115] FIG. 2 is a drawing for explaining the parts placed on the base (30) in a dishwasher according to one embodiment. The parts constituting the heat pump system may be placed, for example, on the lower side of the tub (12).

[0116] The dishwasher may include a base (30) provided on the lower side of the tub (12). A heat pump system and other devices for driving the dishwasher may be placed on the base (30). The base (30) forms a space on the lower side of the tub (12), and this space may become a machine room where various machine parts are placed.

[0117] The dishwasher may include a mounting portion (40) on which the condenser (300) is mounted. The mounting portion (40) may be placed on the base (30). The mounting portion (40) may generally be formed in a plate shape. Various parts may be attached to the upper surface of the mounting portion (40).

[0118] The mounting part (40) can be placed inside the base (30). The base (30) can be easily separated from the base (30). For example, the mounting part (40) can be mounted to the base (30) by a fastening mechanism. The mounting part (40) can be separated from the base (30) by releasing the fastening mechanism and sliding it as shown by the arrow in FIG. 2.

[0119] Alternatively, the mounting part (40) may be provided to be guided by a guide rail formed on the inner side of the base (30) and to slide from the base (30).

[0120] A condenser (300) can be placed in a mounting portion (40). A refrigerant and a cleaning water can flow separately in the condenser (300). The refrigerant can be condensed in the condenser (300). As the refrigerant condenses, it releases heat of liquefaction, and the cleaning water can be heated by the released heat of liquefaction.

[0121] Although not shown, the expansion valve can be placed in a suitable location on the mounting part (40). Since the expansion valve is small compared to other parts, it can be placed in a suitable space on the mounting part (40).

[0122] The dishwasher may include a water softening unit (41) that produces soft water. The water softening unit (41) may be mounted on the mounting unit (40). Soft water is water that has a very low content of minerals such as calcium and magnesium, or does not contain them. When washing with soft water, the washing efficiency of the dishes can be improved, and the lifespan of the dishes can also be increased. Therefore, it is necessary to wash with soft water as needed.

[0123] In the embodiment, washing water is introduced into the water softening unit (41), and after being softened using the water softening unit (41), it can be used for dishwashing. However, the water softening unit (41) is not an essential component of the dishwasher.

[0124] The water softening section (41) can be connected to the sump (100) via piping. Therefore, water flowing into the water softening section (41) can be softened by the water softening section (41). The softened water discharged from the water softening section (41) can flow into the sump (100) and be used for cleaning.

[0125] The dishwasher may include a sump (100) in which wash water is stored. The sump (100) may be mounted on a mounting portion (40). The sump (100) may be positioned on the lower side of a tub (12).

[0126] Washing water stored in the sump (100) can be flowed by the washing pump (150) to wash dishes contained in the tub (12) while circulating through the sump (100), washing pump (150), a plurality of spray arms (13, 14, 15), and tub (12).

[0127] Of course, the washing water can be heated by a heat pump system and sprayed from a plurality of spray arms (13, 14, 15) at a high temperature to wash or rinse dishes contained in the tub (12), thereby improving washing efficiency.

[0128] Additionally, a cleaning pump (150) may be mounted on the mounting portion (40). Additionally, a compressor (500) may be mounted on the mounting portion (40). Additionally, an evaporator (600) may be mounted on the mounting portion (40).

[0129] As described above, the compressor (500), condenser (300), expansion device, and evaporator (600) constituting the heat pump system are connected to each other by piping, and the refrigerant circulates through each component, undergoing a phase change and changing temperature and pressure.

[0130] Meanwhile, when the washing pump (150) is operated, the washing water flows sequentially through the washing pump (150), the condenser (300), the plurality of spray arms (13, 14, 15), the tub (12), and the sump (100), and then flows back into the washing pump (150) to circulate through the aforementioned components again.

[0131] In the condenser (300), the refrigerant and the washing water can flow separately from each other. Accordingly, heat is transferred from the high-temperature refrigerant to the washing water, so that the refrigerant condenses and the washing water is heated. To increase the interface between the washing water and the refrigerant, i.e., the heat transfer area, the flow path of the washing water can be composed of a plurality of tubes (320).

[0132] Since multiple tubes (320) are arranged in the condenser (300), the washing water can flow through a pipe with a large diameter and then flow into a tube (320) with a small diameter. Because this tube (320) has a relatively small diameter, clogging may occur.

[0133] The washing water flowing through the tube (320) can be circulated through the dishwasher by the washing pump (150). As a result, as dishwashing proceeds, foreign substances attached to the surface of the dishes can be contained in the circulating washing water.

[0134] If foreign substances contained in the washing water enter the inside of a tube (320) with a small diameter, they may not be able to pass through the tube (320) and may adhere to the inner surface of the tube (320). If this washing water circulation process continues, the amount of foreign substances attached to the inner surface of the tube (320) may continue to increase.

[0135] Therefore, if the dishwasher is used continuously, foreign matter will continue to accumulate inside the tube (320), and as a result, the flow of washing water in the condenser (300) may deteriorate. If this phenomenon continues, eventually at least some of the tubes (320) may become clogged, and the flow of washing water may deteriorate even more rapidly.

[0136] As a result, damage to the condenser (300) may occur, the operation of the dishwasher may be poor, and in severe cases, the operation of the dishwasher may stop.

[0137] Therefore, a structure is required to prevent foreign substances contained in the washing water from accumulating inside the condenser (300) and to filter out such foreign substances. In addition, the structure of such foreign substances needs to be designed to be easily decomposed so that the accumulated foreign substances can be easily removed.

[0138] The structure is described in detail below with reference to the drawings.

[0139] FIG. 3 is a drawing for explaining a condenser (300) and related parts according to one embodiment. FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of FIG. 3.

[0140] The dishwasher may include a filter unit (200) that filters out foreign substances contained in the flowing washing water. The filter unit (200) may be connected to a washing pump (150). The filter unit (200) may be positioned downstream of the washing pump (150).

[0141] The condenser (300) can be placed downstream of the filter section (200). The condenser (300) can be connected to the filter section (200).

[0142] Accordingly, the washing water discharged from the washing pump (150) can pass through the filter section (200) and flow into the condenser (300). After foreign substances contained in the washing water circulating in the filter section (200) are filtered out, it can flow into the condenser (300).

[0143] As a result, the washing water can be introduced into multiple small-diameter tubes (320) with most of the contained foreign substances removed. Accordingly, the phenomenon of the piping of the condenser (300) being clogged by foreign substances contained in the washing water can be very effectively suppressed.

[0144] If the dishwasher operates continuously, foreign substances contained in the washing water may adhere to the filter (200). If the dishwasher is used for a long time, the amount of foreign substances accumulating in the filter (200) increases, and eventually, the filter (200) may become clogged. To prevent this, it is necessary to periodically clean the filter (200).

[0145] In an embodiment, for cleaning the filter unit (200), the filter unit (200) can be detachably connected to the condenser (300).

[0146] Accordingly, the operator can effectively prevent the filter (200) from clogging by separating the filter (200) from the condenser (300) and cleaning the filter (200). Accordingly, the performance of the dishwasher can be improved.

[0147] The condenser (300) may include a housing (310) configured to allow cleaning water and refrigerant to flow separately inside. The housing (310) may form the outer shape of the condenser (300). A tube (320) may be accommodated inside the housing (310).

[0148] The housing (310) can generally be formed in a cylindrical shape with an internal space. The housing (310) can be formed from a robust material with excellent corrosion resistance, such as copper, aluminum, or stainless steel, so as to withstand high-pressure refrigerant.

[0149] A space through which a refrigerant flows may be formed inside the housing (310). As high-temperature refrigerant flows into this space, heat may be dissipated to the outside of the housing (310). Since such heat dissipation degrades the performance of the condenser (300), an insulating material may be provided on the outer surface of the housing (310) to surround the housing (310) in order to suppress external heat dissipation.

[0150] The tubes (320) may be provided in multiple numbers that are separated from each other and arranged inside the housing (310). Washing water may flow through the tubes (320). The tubes (320) may be formed, for example, as pipes with a cylindrical cross-section and a hollow interior.

[0151] Each tube (320) may be spaced apart from each other. Specifically, each tube (320) may be spaced apart from each other in the diameter direction of the housing (310).

[0152] By providing multiple tubes (320), the contact area between the refrigerant and the washing water, i.e., the heat transfer area, can be improved. Additionally, as a result, uniform heat transfer occurs throughout the flowing refrigerant and washing water, thereby improving heat transfer efficiency.

[0153] The condenser (300) may include an inlet portion (331) through which refrigerant flows into the housing (310). The inlet portion (331) may protrude from the housing (310). The condenser (300) may include an outlet portion (332) through which refrigerant is discharged from the housing (310). The outlet portion (332) may protrude from the housing (310).

[0154] For example, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the inlet (331) and the outlet (332) may be formed in the shape of pipes having a predetermined length that protrudes in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the housing (310).

[0155] One end of the inlet section (331) and the outlet section (332) can be connected to a pipe through which refrigerant flows.

[0156] The inlet (331) and the protrusion can be positioned in relation to the flow direction of the washing water and the refrigerant.

[0157] For example, if designed as an opposing type condenser (300) in which the flow directions of the washing water and the refrigerant are opposite to each other, the inlet section (331) may be positioned in a location adjacent to the outlet of the washing water in the condenser (300), and the outlet section (332) may be positioned in a location adjacent to the inlet of the washing water in the condenser (300).

[0158] As another example, when the condenser (300) is designed such that the flow directions of the washing water and the refrigerant are the same, the inlet section (331) may be positioned in a location adjacent to the inlet of the washing water in the condenser (300), and the outlet section (332) may be positioned in a location adjacent to the outlet of the washing water in the condenser (300).

[0159] The inlet section (331) and the outlet section (332) may be spaced apart from each other along the longitudinal direction of the housing (310). Since the refrigerant introduced into the housing (310) may not flow and may stagnate in the corners of the housing (310), it is necessary to position the inlet section (331) and the outlet section (332) in a way that can reduce such stagnation areas.

[0160] The inlet (331) and the protrusion can be positioned so as to be adjacent to each of the two ends of the condenser (300). With this structure, the area where the refrigerant does not flow and remains stagnant at each corner inside the housing (310) can be reduced.

[0161] However, the inlet portion (331) and the protrusion portion may be provided at a position that avoids the location where the baffle (340) is placed in order to ensure smooth flow of the refrigerant.

[0162] The condenser (300) may include a baffle (340) that forms a flow path for the refrigerant. The baffle (340) may be formed inside the housing (310).

[0163] For example, the baffles (340) may be provided in multiple numbers. Each baffle (340) may be spaced apart from one another in the longitudinal direction of the housing (310) inside the housing (310).

[0164] For example, the baffle (340) may protrude from the inner wall surface of the housing (310). The baffle (340) may protrude in a direction intersecting the longitudinal direction of the housing (310).

[0165] The adjacent baffles (340) can be alternately arranged in a zigzag pattern along the longitudinal direction of the housing (310). Due to this structure, the baffles (340) can be provided to block a portion of the refrigerant flow path formed inside the housing (310).

[0166] Due to this structure, the baffle (340) can block the flow of the refrigerant and change the direction of flow. Accordingly, the baffle (340) can extend the flow length of the refrigerant in the housing (310).

[0167] The filter unit (200) may include a connecting part (210) having one side connected to the housing (310). The other side of the connecting part (210) may be connected to a pipe connected to a washing pump (150).

[0168] The filtering section (200) may include a filter section (220) disposed inside the connecting section (210). The filter section (220) may serve to filter out foreign substances contained in the washing water flowing into the filtering section (200).

[0169] The filtering unit (200) may include a clamp (230) that detachably connects the condenser (300) and the connecting unit (210). The clamp (230) can seal the space between the condenser (300) and the connecting unit (210) by applying pressure to the connecting unit (210) connected to the condenser (300). Accordingly, the clamp (230) can prevent the formation of a gap between the condenser (300) and the connecting unit (210). Therefore, the clamp (230) can effectively prevent leakage between the condenser (300) and the connecting unit (210).

[0170] The clamp (230) is fastened to the connecting part (210) at the part where the housing (310) and the connecting part (210) are joined, thereby fixing the housing (310) and the connecting part (210).

[0171] FIG. 5 is an exploded view illustrating a condenser (300) and related parts. Referring to FIG. 5, the clamp (230) can be formed in a ring shape.

[0172] The clamp (230) can be formed from various materials. For example, the clamp (230) can be formed from a rubber material that has strong tensile strength and is easily elastically deformed, so that the connecting part (210) can be firmly connected to the housing (310).

[0173] As another example, the clamp (230) may be formed from a metal material with good corrosion resistance, such as copper, aluminum, or stainless steel. In the case of a metal clamp (230), a connecting part may be formed so that a worker can easily attach and detach the clamp (230) from the connecting part (210). At this time, the structure may have a connecting mechanism, such as a screw, mounted on this connecting part.

[0174] One side of the connecting part (210) can be connected to the outer surface of the condenser (300). Specifically, one side of the connecting part (210) can be connected to the outer surface of the housing (310). The clamp (230) can be connected to the outer surface of the connecting part (210).

[0175] Accordingly, when connecting the connecting part (210) to the condenser (300), the operator can first connect the connecting part (210) to the housing (310) of the condenser (300). Next, the operator can attach a clamp (230) to the outer surface of the housing (310) at the joint between the housing (310) and the connecting part (210). Accordingly, the connecting part (210) can be firmly connected to the housing (310).

[0176] When separating the connection part (210) from the condenser (300) to clean the filter part (220), the operator can first separate the clamp (230) from the housing (310). Next, the operator can separate the connection part (210) from the housing (310).

[0177] Accordingly, the connection part (210) and the housing (310) can be separated. The filter part (220) placed inside the separated connection part (210) can be removed from the connection part (210) to clean the filter part (220).

[0178] FIG. 6 is a drawing showing a filter section according to one embodiment.

[0179] The filter section (220) may be provided with a shape such that at least a portion of it is convex toward the condenser (300).

[0180] Since the filter portion (220) is formed in a convex shape, the total surface area of the filter can be increased compared to the case where the filter portion (220) has a disk shape.

[0181] Accordingly, the total surface area through which the wash water passes through the filter can be increased. As a result, foreign substances contained in the wash water can be sprayed and adhered to the entire filter, which has a relatively large surface area. Therefore, the cleaning cycle of the filter is extended, which reduces the frequency of cleaning operations and provides convenience to users and operators.

[0182] The filter section (220) may be formed convexly in the direction toward the condenser (300). Accordingly, the filter section (220) may be provided convexly in the direction in which the washing water flows.

[0183] Due to this structure, the flow resistance of the washing water can be effectively reduced compared to the case where the filter section (220) is convex in the opposite direction to the direction of the washing water flow. Accordingly, the washing water can circulate smoothly.

[0184] The filter section (220) may include a mesh section (221) in which at least a portion is formed convexly in a direction toward the condenser (300). The mesh section (221) may be provided in a net shape to form holes through which washing water passes.

[0185] Washing water can pass through these holes. At this time, foreign substances contained in the washing water may not pass through the holes and may be caught in the filter section (220). If the size of the holes formed in the mesh section (221) is small, the effect of filtering foreign substances may increase, but the flow resistance of the washing water may increase. Therefore, the size of these holes can be appropriately selected by considering both the effect of filtering foreign substances and the flow resistance of the washing water.

[0186] Compared to the area of the holes formed in the mesh of the filter (110), the area of the holes in the mesh section (221) of the filter section (220) of the filtering section (200) may be equal to or smaller. Since a significant amount of foreign matter is already filtered by the filter (110), the foreign matter that has passed through the filter (110) may be smaller than the area of the mesh holes of the filter (110). Therefore, the area of the holes in the mesh section (221) of the filtering section (200) of the condenser may be formed smaller than the area of the mesh holes of the filter (110), thereby producing the effect of filtering out more foreign matter.

[0187] The filter section (220) may include a reinforcing section (222) that is bent at the end of the mesh section (221). The mesh section (221) may be provided in a ring shape having a predetermined width. The mesh section (221) may reinforce the rigidity of the filter section (220).

[0188] The mesh section (221) has a large number of holes, so it has a structure with weak overall rigidity. Therefore, the mesh section (221) can be deformed by the momentum of the flowing washing water. When the mesh section (221) is deformed, the amount of washing water passing by the side of the mesh section (221) without passing through the mesh section (221) may increase. Accordingly, foreign substances not filtered by the filter section (220) may flow into the tube (320), causing the tube (320) to become clogged.

[0189] The reinforcing portion (222) can be formed in a ring shape with a predetermined width at the end of the mesh portion (221). As a result, the mesh portion (221) can be reinforced in rigidity and not deformed by flowing washing water. Accordingly, foreign substances not filtered by the filter portion (220) can be effectively suppressed from entering the tube (320). Thus, the performance of the filter portion (220) can be improved.

[0190] One side of the connecting part (210) may be connected to a pipe with a small inner diameter. The other side of the connecting part (210) may be combined with a housing (310) with a large inner diameter. Accordingly, the connecting part (210) may include a portion in which the inner diameter increases as it moves in the direction of the flow of the washing water.

[0191] The connecting part (210) may be formed of a metal material with excellent corrosion resistance and heat resistance, such as copper, aluminum, or stainless steel, so as to withstand high-temperature washing water. In another embodiment, the connecting part (210) may be formed of a non-metal material with excellent corrosion resistance and heat resistance, such as silicone resin.

[0192] The connecting portion (210) may include a small diameter portion (211) to which a pipe connected to a washing pump (150) is connected. The small diameter portion (211) may have a smaller diameter than the large diameter portion (212). The connecting portion (210) may include a large diameter portion (212) to which a condenser (300) is connected. The large diameter portion (212) may have a larger diameter than the small diameter portion (211).

[0193] A filter section (220) can be accommodated inside the large diameter section (212). Accordingly, the length and cross-sectional area of the large diameter section (212) can be formed to correspond to the length and cross-sectional area of the filter section (220).

[0194] The connecting portion (210) may include an extension portion (213) positioned between the small diameter portion (211) and the large diameter portion (212). The diameter of the extension portion (213) may gradually increase along the direction of flow of the washing water.

[0195] As the washing water passes through the connection part (210), the flow cross-sectional area can gradually increase due to the structure of the connection part (210). Due to this structure, the flow of washing water entering the condenser (300) can be relatively stabilized compared to the case where the flow cross-sectional area increases rapidly. Accordingly, the flow resistance of the washing water can be reduced. Therefore, washing water can flow smoothly in the connection part (210) and the condenser (300).

[0196] In the embodiment, the operator can easily attach or detach the filter unit (220) from the dishwasher by attaching or detaching the clamp (230). Accordingly, the cleaning of the filter unit (220) can be easily performed, thereby providing convenience to the operator.

[0197] The dishwasher may include a fitting socket (400) on one side that is connected to a housing (310). The fitting socket (400) may be provided such that the diameter of the side connected to the housing (310) is larger than that of the other side.

[0198] The fitting socket (400) can connect the housing (310) of the condenser (300) with a large diameter and the cleaning water pipe with a small diameter. The cleaning water can be discharged from the housing (310) and flow into the cleaning water pipe. The fitting socket (400) can connect the housing (310) and the cleaning water pipe with different diameters. The fitting socket (400) can generally be provided with a shape symmetrical to the connecting part (210).

[0199] The fitting socket (400) may include a first cell (410) connected to a condenser (300). The first cell (410) may have a larger diameter than the second cell (420). The fitting socket (400) may include a second cell (420) positioned on the other side of the first cell (410). The second cell (420) may have a smaller diameter than the first cell (410).

[0200] The fitting socket (400) may include a third cell (430) positioned between the first cell (410) and the second cell (420). The diameter of the third cell (430) may gradually decrease as it approaches the second cell (420). The diameter of the third cell (430) may gradually decrease along the direction of flow of the washing water.

[0201] As the washing water passes through the third cell (430), the flow cross-sectional area can be gradually reduced due to the structure of the third cell (430). Due to this structure, the flow of washing water discharged from the condenser (300) can be relatively stabilized compared to the case where the flow cross-sectional area decreases rapidly. Accordingly, the flow resistance of the washing water can be reduced. Therefore, the washing water discharged from the condenser (300) can flow smoothly through the fitting socket (400) and the subsequent washing water piping.

[0202] FIG. 7 is a drawing showing the state in which the lid portion (50) of one embodiment is separated from the base (30) in a dishwasher.

[0203] The dishwasher may include a lid portion (50) that is detachably coupled to the side of the base (30). The lid portion (50) can open and close the interior of the base (30).

[0204] As described above, the filter unit (220) needs to be periodically removed from the dishwasher for cleaning or replacement. Therefore, a lid unit (50) may be provided to easily remove the filter unit (220) from the dishwasher.

[0205] The lid portion (50) may be provided on the base (30) where the filter portion (200) is placed. The lid portion (50) may be placed, for example, on the front of the dishwasher. Typically, the dishwasher may be installed indoors in a built-in manner. Accordingly, the front of the dishwasher is exposed to the outside, while the sides and rear are not exposed to the outside, making it difficult for users or workers to access.

[0206] Accordingly, the condenser (300) and the filter (200) can be positioned at the front of the base (30) so that the filter section (220) can be easily separated. Accordingly, a lid (50) that exposes the filter (200) to the outside can be positioned at the front of the dishwasher so that the filter (200) can be exposed to the outside for easy disassembly.

[0207] In one embodiment, the lid portion (50) may be provided to open the entire front of the base (30). In this case, the operator can detach the mounting portion (40) from the base (30). And the filter portion (220) can be detached from the dishwasher.

[0208] Alternatively, the operator may open only the lid portion (50). And the filter portion (200) may be disassembled without separating the mounting portion (40) from the base (30). And the filter portion (220) may be separated from the filter portion (200).

[0209] In another embodiment, the lid portion (50) may be provided to open only a portion of the front surface of the base (30) corresponding to the area where the condenser (300) and the filter portion (200) are placed. In this case, the operator can open only the lid portion (50). The filter portion (200) can be disassembled without separating the mounting portion (40) from the base (30). The filter portion (220) can also be separated from the filter portion (200).

[0210] Below, a lid part (50) having a structure that opens the entire front of the base (30) is described.

[0211] As illustrated in FIG. 7, the lid portion (50) can be attached to the base (30) by a coupling mechanism and / or a shape-fit method. The operator can detach the lid portion (50) from the base (30). Then, the filter portion (220) can be detached from the filter portion (200) by disassembling the filter portion (200) exposed to the outside.

[0212] After completing the cleaning or replacement of the filter part (220), the operator can reattach the lid part (50) to the base (30).

[0213] FIG. 8 is a drawing showing a part of a dishwasher equipped with a lid portion (50) of another embodiment. FIG. 9 is a side view of FIG. 8.

[0214] As shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, the lid portion (50) can be connected to the base (30) by a hinge rotation method without being separated from the base (30). Accordingly, when the lid portion (50) is opened, the filter portion (200) can be exposed to the outside.

[0215] FIG. 10 is a drawing showing the lid portion (50) in an open state in the drawing of FIG. 8. FIG. 11 is a side view of FIG. 10.

[0216] When the operator lifts the lid (50) and rotates the hinge, the condenser (300) and the filter (200) positioned at the front of the base (30) can be exposed to the outside, as shown in FIGS. 10 and 11. In this state, the operator can disassemble the filter (200). The filter contained in the filter (200) can be separated from the filter (200). The filter (220) can then be cleaned or replaced.

[0217] Below, a method for disassembling a dishwasher according to an embodiment for separating the filter unit (220) from the dishwasher will be described in detail.

[0218] First, the parts related to the disassembly of the dishwasher will be described with reference to Fig. 15, which will be described later.

[0219] The dishwasher may include a cap portion (401) that is detachably coupled to the water softening section (41). The cap portion (401) can open or close the inlet of the water softening section (41). The cap portion (401) may be positioned to protrude from the bottom (12b) of the tub (12). The cap portion (401) may be coupled to the inlet of the water softening section (41), for example, by a screw coupling method.

[0220] If water softening is required, the user can remove the cap (401). Then, cleaning water can be injected into the opening of the water softening section (41). Accordingly, water softening can be produced in the water softening section (41). The water softening can flow into the sump (100) and be used for cleaning.

[0221] When separating the mounting part (40) from the base (30), the operator can remove the cap part (401) to separate the water softening part (41) from the bottom (12b) of the tub (12). Afterwards, the mounting part (40) can be separated from the base (30).

[0222] The dishwasher may include a cover portion (101) in which a portion is placed on the tub (12). The cover portion (101) may be detachably attached to the sump (100). The cover portion (101) may open or close the upper opening of the sump (100).

[0223] A hole through which washing water passes may be formed in a part of the cover portion (101). Washing water sprayed into the tub (12) may fall due to gravity. The fallen washing water may flow into the sump (100) through the hole formed in the cover portion (101).

[0224] When separating the mounting portion (40) from the base (30), the operator can remove the cover portion (101) to separate the sump (100) from the bottom (12b) of the tub (12). Afterward, the mounting portion (40) can be separated from the base (30).

[0225] When the lid portion (50) opens and closes the entire front of the base (30), the user can withdraw the mounting portion (40) from the base (30). Accordingly, access to the mounting portion (40) is easier compared to when the mounting portion (40) is not withdrawn from the base (30). Therefore, the operator can easily replace the filter portion (220).

[0226] For example, after separating the mounting part (40) from the base (30), the operator can pull the mounting part (40) out of the base (30) by sliding it. Afterward, the operator can separate the filter part (220) from the pulled-out mounting part (40) to clean or replace it.

[0227] When cleaning or replacing the filter section (220), the operator can remove the lid section (50) from the base (30). Next, the operator can remove the cap section (401) from the water softening section (41). Next, the operator can remove the cover section (101) from the sump (100). Next, the operator can pull out the mounting section (40) from the base (30). Afterward, the filter section (220) can be separated from the mounting section (40) for cleaning or replacement.

[0228] Meanwhile, when the lid portion (50) is connected to the base (30) by a hinge connection method, the operator can open the front of the base (30) by lifting the lid portion (50) without completely separating the lid portion (50) from the base (30). Then, the operator can pull out the mounting portion (40) from the base (30).

[0229] FIG. 12 is a flowchart illustrating a method for disassembling a dishwasher according to one embodiment. The method for disassembling a dishwasher according to one embodiment may include the step of removing a lid portion (50) from a base (30) (S110). The method for disassembling the dishwasher may remove a cap portion (401) that opens and closes the water softening portion (41) from the water softening portion (41) (S120).

[0230] The method for disassembling the dishwasher may include the step of removing a cover portion (101) that opens or closes the upper opening of the sump (100) from the tub (12) (S130). The method for disassembling the dishwasher may include the step of releasing the connection between the water softening portion (41) and the sump (100) and the tub (12) (S140). The method for disassembling the dishwasher may include the step of pulling out the mounting portion (40) from the base (30) (S150).

[0231] Below, each step of the dishwasher disassembly method is explained in detail.

[0232] FIG. 13 is a drawing showing the lid portion (50) attached to the base (30) of a dishwasher. FIG. 14 is a drawing showing the lid portion (50) separated from the base (30).

[0233] First, a cover portion (101) that opens or closes the upper opening of the sump (100) from the tub (12) can be removed (S110). The operator can open the front of the base (30) by disassembling the lid portion (50) of FIG. 13 from the base (30).

[0234] Of course, if a hinge-type lid (50) is provided, the operator can open the front of the base (30) by lifting the lid (50) without separating the lid (50) from the base (30).

[0235] FIG. 15 is a drawing showing the state in which the cap (401) of the water softener (41) and the cover (101) of the sump (100) are removed. FIG. 16 is a drawing showing the bottom (12b) of the tub (12) with the cap (401) of the water softener (41) and the cover (101) of the sump (100) removed.

[0236] Next, the cap part (401) that opens and closes the water softening part (41) can be removed from the water softening part (41) (S120).

[0237] The operator can remove the cap portion (401) positioned above the bottom (12b) of the tub (12) from the softening portion (41). Accordingly, the softening portion (41) can be separated from the bottom (12b) of the tub (12).

[0238] Next, a cover portion (101) that opens or closes the upper opening of the sump (100) from the tub (12) can be removed (S130). The operator can separate the cover portion (101) from the bottom (12b) of the tub (12). Accordingly, the sump (100) can be separated from the bottom (12b) of the tub (12).

[0239] Referring to FIG. 15, some of the components of the filter (110) that filters the wash water recovered into the sump (100) may be provided to be connected to the cover portion (101). Thus, when the cover portion (101) is removed, some of the components of the filter may be separated from the dishwasher together with the cover portion (101).

[0240] Meanwhile, the aforementioned steps S110 to S130 do not necessarily have to be performed in the order of S110, S120, and S130, and the operator may arbitrarily change the order to proceed with the work.

[0241] FIG. 17 is a drawing showing the state in which the water softener (41) and sump (100) are removed from the tub (12).

[0242] Next, the connection between the water softener (41), the sump (100), and the tub (12) can be released (S140). The inlet of the water softener (41) protrudes upward and can be coupled to a hole formed in the bottom (12b) of the tub (12) in a press-fit manner.

[0243] Likewise, the upper part of the sump (100) can also be joined to another hole formed in the bottom (12b) of the tub (12) by a press fit.

[0244] Therefore, even after the cap portion (401) and the cover portion (101) are removed, the softening portion (41) and the sump (100) may remain connected to the bottom (12b) of the tub (12).

[0245] The operator can pressurize the inlet of the softening section (41) and the upper part of the sump (100) in the downward direction shown by the arrow in FIG. 17. Accordingly, the inlet of the softening section (41) and the upper part of the sump (100) can move in the downward direction shown by the arrow. Thus, the softening section (41) and the sump (100) can be separated from the bottom (12b) of the tub (12).

[0246] FIG. 18 is a front view of the base (30) of the dishwasher as seen in FIG. 17.

[0247] Next, the mounting part (40) can be withdrawn from the base (30) (S150). Due to the operation of step S140, the parts placed in the mounting part (40) can be completely separated from the tub (12).

[0248] Accordingly, the operator can slide the mounting part (40) to withdraw it from the base (30). As a result, the mounting part (40) can be fully exposed. Accordingly, the operator can disassemble the filter part (200) placed on the mounting part (40) and separate the filter part (220) from the filter part (200) to clean or replace it.

[0249] After cleaning or replacing the filter part (220), the mounting part (40) can be reassembled to the base (30) in the reverse order of the disassembly method described above.

[0250] In the embodiment, the dishwasher may have a structure that allows for easy disassembly of the filter unit (200). Accordingly, the method of disassembling the dishwasher may facilitate cleaning or replacement of the filter unit (220). Thus, the convenience of operation may be improved.

[0251] FIG. 19 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of the filter section (200) of one embodiment.

[0252] In an embodiment, the first distance (D1), defined as the shortest distance between the filter section (220) and the end of the tube (320), may be longer than the inner diameter (TD) of the tube (320).

[0253] If the first distance (D1) is longer than the inner diameter (TD) of the tube (320), the washing water, whose flow has been disturbed while passing through the filter section (220), can regain a quiet flow to some extent and flow into the tube (320) relatively quietly.

[0254] Therefore, due to this structure, the flow resistance of the washing water between the tube (320) and the filter section (220) can be reduced. Accordingly, the washing water can flow smoothly. In addition, it is advantageous for preserving the water pressure of the washing water.

[0255] In an embodiment, the filter section (200) may include a holder (240) that is coupled to the opening of the filter section (220). The holder (240) may be positioned upstream of the filter section (220) in relation to the flow path of the washing water. The holder (240) is coupled to the filter section (220) so that the filter section (220) can be stably coupled to the connecting section (210).

[0256] In addition, the holder (240) can reinforce the rigidity of the filter part (220) so that the filter part (220) is not easily deformed by the flowing washing water.

[0257] Additionally, the holder (240) can block the gap that occurs between the connecting part (210) and the filter part (220). Therefore, the holder (240) can effectively prevent foreign substances from escaping through this gap.

[0258] The holder (240) can be mounted on the connecting part (210). Due to the difference in diameter between the large diameter portion (212) and the extension portion (213) of the connecting part (210), the holder (240) can be fixed to the connecting part (210) by an interference fit. In another embodiment, screw threads can be formed at the boundary between the holder (240) and the large diameter portion (212) and the extension portion (213) of the connecting part (210). Accordingly, the holder (240) and the connecting part (210) can be screw-coupled. In this way, the holder (240) can be stably mounted on the connecting part (210).

[0259] Meanwhile, the holder (240) and the filter section (220) can also be joined to each other by means of a press fit or screw connection. The joining structure of the holder (240) and the filter section (220) will be described in detail below.

[0260] FIG. 20 is an enlarged view of a holder (240) according to an embodiment of part 20 of FIG. 19. FIG. 20 shows a holder (240) to which a filter part (220) without a reinforcing part (222) is coupled.

[0261] The holder (240) may include a ring-shaped body (241) in which a hollow is formed. The holder (240) may include a first grip portion (242) disposed at the edge of the body (241). The first grip portion (242) may be coupled to the end of the filter portion (220). The first grip portion (242) may include a first recess (2421) formed by being recessed in the longitudinal direction of the filter portion (200).

[0262] The first grip portion (242) may be formed continuously along the circumference of the body (241). In another embodiment, the first grip portion (242) may be provided in multiple units spaced apart from each other along the circumference of the body (241).

[0263] The open portion of the filter portion (220), that is, the upstream end, can be formed in a ring shape in relation to the flow of the washing water. This ring-shaped end is inserted into the first recess (2421) formed in the first grip portion (242), thereby allowing the filter portion (220) and the holder (240) to be combined.

[0264] The filter section (220) and the holder (240) can be joined to each other by an interference fit or a screw connection.

[0265] FIG. 21 is an enlarged view of a holder (240) according to another embodiment of part 21 of FIG. 19. FIG. 21 shows a holder (240) to which a filter part (220) having a reinforcing part (222) is coupled.

[0266] The holder (240) may include a ring-shaped body (241) in which a hollow is formed. The holder (240) may include a second grip portion (243) disposed at the edge of the body (241). The second grip portion (243) may be coupled to the end of the filter portion (220). The second grip portion (243) may include a second recess (2431) formed by being recessed in the radial direction of the body (241).

[0267] The second grip portion (243) may be formed continuously along the circumference of the body (241). In another embodiment, the second grip portion (243) may be provided in multiple units spaced apart from each other along the circumference of the body (241).

[0268] In the case of the filter portion (220) having a reinforcing portion (222) formed thereon, the ring-shaped reinforcing portion (222) formed at the end of the filter portion (220) can be fitted into the second recess (2431) formed in the second grip portion (243). Thus, the filter portion (220) and the holder (240) can be combined.

[0269] The reinforcing part (222) can be joined to the second recess (2431) of the second grip part (243) by a press fit method.

[0270] FIG. 22 is a cross-sectional view showing a filter section (220) according to another embodiment. In the filter section (220) according to each of the following embodiments, for example, parts that overlap with the previously described contents, such as the coupling structure of the filter section (220) and the holder (240), may be omitted from the description.

[0271] As illustrated in FIG. 22, the filter section (220) may be provided with a conical shape in which at least a portion is convex toward the condenser (300). The filter section (220) may have a straight cross-section, for example, formed in a “V” shape.

[0272] In the case of this structure, compared to the case where the cross-section is curved, it is easier to manufacture, which can reduce production time and costs.

[0273] FIG. 23 is a cross-sectional view showing a filter section (220) according to another embodiment.

[0274] As illustrated in FIG. 23, the filter section (220) may include a disk section (223) on which a mesh structure is formed. The filter section (220) may include a spacing member (224) protruding from the disk section (223) toward the tube (320). The spacing member (224) may be provided in a plurality that are spaced apart from each other in the diameter direction of the disk section (223).

[0275] The separation member (224) can maintain a separation distance between the disc portion (223) and the tube (320) by contacting the tube (320) or the housing. Accordingly, the cleaning water passing through the disc portion (223) can recover a quiet flow to some extent and flow into the tube (320). Therefore, the flow resistance of the cleaning water can be reduced.

[0276] The structure of such a filter section (220) can increase the volumetric efficiency of the device by reducing the volume of the filter section (220) and the connection section (210). In addition, the structure of such a filter section (220) is simpler than the structure of the filter section (220) described above, making it easier to manufacture.

[0277] FIG. 24 is a cross-sectional view showing a filter section (220) according to another embodiment.

[0278] As illustrated in FIG. 24, the filter portion (220) may be provided in a plate shape such that the diameter direction intersects the length direction of the filter portion (220). The plate-shaped filter portion (220) may be formed in a circular shape corresponding to the shape of the connecting portion (210).

[0279] In the case of a filter section (220) with this structure, it is the simplest and smallest in volume compared to the filter section (220) described above. Therefore, the manufacturing time and cost of the filter section (220) can be reduced, and the volumetric efficiency of the device can be increased.

[0280] Additionally, one side of the filter part (220) of this structure may be in contact with the tube (320) or housing (310), and the other side may be coupled with the holder (240). Thus, the filter part (220) can be stably fixed to the connecting part (210). Therefore, the position of the filter part (220) being changed or shaking due to the flow of washing water can be effectively suppressed.

[0281] FIG. 25 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a condenser (300) and related parts according to another embodiment. FIG. 26 is a perspective view showing a part of the condenser (300) illustrated in FIG. 25. Duplicate descriptions of previously described contents are omitted below.

[0282] As illustrated in FIGS. 25 and 26, the filter unit (200) may include a connection unit (210) having one side connected to a housing (310) and the other side connected to a pipe connected to a washing pump (150). Additionally, the filter unit (200) may include a filter unit (220) disposed inside the connection unit (210).

[0283] The filter section (220) may include a filter protrusion (225) formed to protrude upstream of the flowing washing water. The filter section (220) may include a filter casing (226) provided to surround the filter protrusion (225).

[0284] The filter casing (226) is generally formed in a cup shape and may have a plurality of filter protrusions (225) arranged on the inside. The filter casing (226) is received in the connecting part (210) and may be positioned so that one side faces the inlet of the tube (320). The other side of the filter casing (226) has a space formed where its end is open, and the filter protrusions (225) may be received in this space.

[0285] Meanwhile, the filter portion (220) may be formed with at least a portion of a mesh in the form of a net so that washing water can pass through. The filter protrusion (225) may be provided with a mesh. Alternatively, both the filter protrusion (225) and the filter casing (226) may be provided with a mesh.

[0286] The filter protrusion (225) may be provided so that one side is open to be connected to the inlet of the tube (320) and the other side is closed. Accordingly, the washing water can pass through the closed filter protrusion (225) and flow into the tube (320). Foreign substances contained in the washing water may accumulate inside the filter casing (226) without passing through the filter protrusion (225). The foreign substances accumulated in this way can be removed by disassembling the filter section (200) and cleaning the filter section (220).

[0287] Filter protrusions (225) may be provided in a number corresponding to a plurality of tubes (320). Each of the plurality of filter protrusions (225) may be positioned at a location corresponding to each of the plurality of tubes (320). Accordingly, the cleaning water passing through the filter protrusions (225) can flow directly into the inlet of the tube (320) without receiving significant resistance. Due to this structure, the flow resistance of the cleaning water flowing into the tube (320) after passing through the filter portion (220) is effectively reduced, and the cleaning water can flow smoothly.

[0288] FIG. 27 is a cross-sectional perspective view showing a part of FIG. 26. FIG. 28 is a perspective view of some of the parts shown in FIG. 26 viewed from a different direction.

[0289] The filter protrusion (225) may include a tip (225a) positioned upstream of the flowing wash water. This tip (225a) may be positioned at a position corresponding to the inlet of the tube (320) with respect to the direction of flow of the wash water, i.e., an overlapping position.

[0290] Therefore, most of the washing water can pass through multiple tip sections (225a) and flow into the tube (320).

[0291] The entire filter protrusion (225) can be formed in a mesh shape.

[0292] In another embodiment, to increase the rigidity of the filter protrusion (225) and improve ease of manufacturing, the tip (225a) located at a position corresponding to the inlet of the tube (320) may be formed of mesh, and the remaining part of the filter protrusion (225) may be formed as a closed structure through which washing water does not pass. Even with this structure, since almost all of the washing water passes through the tip (225a), the flow resistance of the washing water can be very small.

[0293] Since the multiple filter protrusions (225) are spaced apart from each other, a recessed space may be formed between the filter protrusions (225). Foreign matter may accumulate in this recessed space. Even if foreign matter accumulates in the recessed space, since almost all of the washing water passes through the filter protrusions (225), the flow of the washing water may not be obstructed by the accumulated foreign matter.

[0294] The tip (225a) may be provided with a convex curved surface facing upstream of the flowing washing water. Due to this structure, foreign matter may not accumulate on the front surface of the tip (225a), that is, on the surface of the tip (225a) before the washing water passes through the tip (225a).

[0295] Since the front surface of the tip portion (225a) is convex toward the upstream of the washing water, the front surface of the tip portion (225a) can be provided in a streamlined shape for the flow of the washing water. Therefore, when the washing water flows, foreign substances attached to the front surface of the tip portion (225a) can be actively swept down by the washing water. Accordingly, the accumulation of foreign substances on the front surface of the tip portion (225a) can be effectively suppressed.

[0296] Meanwhile, foreign substances swept down from the tip section (225a) cannot pass through the filter section (220) and may accumulate in the aforementioned recessed space. Since the recessed space does not obstruct the flow of washing water, the resistance to the flow of washing water caused by foreign substances accumulated in the recessed space is very small, and therefore, even if a significant amount of foreign substances accumulate in the filter section (220), the washing water can flow smoothly through the filter section (220).

[0297] Meanwhile, in another embodiment, the tip (225a) may be provided in a pointed conical shape facing upstream of the flowing washing water, and this may have the same effect as a convex curved surface.

[0298] In an embodiment, the filter portion (220) may include a filter protrusion (225). Additionally, the filter protrusion (225) may include a tip portion (225a) positioned upstream of the flowing wash water. The tip portion (225a) may be provided with a convex curved surface facing upstream of the flowing wash water.

[0299] Due to this structure, foreign matter does not accumulate on the tip (225a) positioned at a location corresponding to the inlet of the tube (320), so even when a significant amount of foreign matter has accumulated in the filter section (220), the washing water can flow smoothly through the filter section (220) and the condenser (300). Accordingly, malfunctions and breakdowns of the dishwasher caused by clogging of the filter section (220) can be reduced. In addition, the cleaning cycle of the filter section (220) by disassembling the filter section (220) and the condenser (300) is extended, making maintenance of the dishwasher more convenient.

[0300] Although the present invention has been described above with reference to the illustrated drawings, the present invention is not limited by the embodiments and drawings disclosed in this specification, and it is obvious that various modifications can be made by a person skilled in the art within the scope of the technical concept of the present invention. Furthermore, even if the effects of the configuration according to the present invention were not explicitly described while explaining the embodiments of the present invention above, it is natural to acknowledge that the effects predictable by said configuration should also be recognized.
