Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a mobile electric vehicle charging system using solar power generation, and more specifically, to a battery system capable of producing electricity using solar power generation and storing and leasing said electricity, and a mobile electric vehicle charging system using solar power generation that manages the same. Background Technology
[0003] Generally, as the adoption of electric vehicles (EVs) increases rapidly, the expansion of charging infrastructure is emerging as an important challenge.
[0004] Currently, electric vehicle charging primarily relies on direct charging at stationary charging stations; however, users experience inconvenience due to low accessibility in areas with insufficient charging infrastructure. In particular, relying on existing stationary charging stations has limitations when charging is required in suburban areas or during long-distance driving.
[0005] In addition, since the operation of charging stations generally relies on the power grid, problems may also arise due to increased grid load.
[0006] To address these issues, mobile electric vehicle charging systems are being proposed as an alternative. This mobile charging method allows electric vehicle users to directly rent batteries or charge their vehicles at the necessary locations using portable charging devices.
[0007] Since existing mobile charging systems primarily supply power while connected to an external power grid, they remain highly dependent on the grid and may face limitations regarding the installation of charging stations. Therefore, there is a need for a system that allows electric vehicle users to charge freely while reducing dependence on the external power grid.
[0008] Charging systems utilizing solar power generation are attracting attention as an alternative capable of performing electric vehicle charging by independently producing electricity without relying on the power grid.
[0009] Solar power generation is environmentally friendly and offers the advantage of excellent economic feasibility due to low long-term operating costs. However, since power generation fluctuates depending on solar irradiance, it is necessary to manage the generated electricity by utilizing an Energy Storage System (ESS) to store it and make it available for use when needed, in order to ensure a stable power supply.
[0010] Power storage methods utilizing batteries can enhance connectivity with solar power generation, thereby enabling more efficient operation of electric vehicle charging.
[0011] In particular, in mobile charging systems, if a method is applied where users directly rent a charged battery module and install it in a vehicle, a much more flexible charging environment can be provided compared to existing charging methods.
[0012] The battery rental method has the advantage of allowing electric vehicle users to charge quickly by swapping out an already charged battery, without having to wait for a long time at a charging station.
[0013] To efficiently manage the rental and charging of battery modules, a Battery Management System (BMS) and an Energy Management System (EMS) are required.
[0014] The BMS monitors the status of individual battery cells and optimizes charging and discharging efficiency. The EMS comprehensively analyzes solar power generation, battery charge status, and electric vehicle charging demand to automatically set the optimal charging and discharging strategy.
[0015] In addition, a remote management system via kiosks or mobile applications may be introduced to maximize user convenience.
[0016] Users can reserve battery module rentals and returns, and check the charging status in real time through a smartphone application. This minimizes waiting times at charging stations and enables more efficient charging operations.
[0017] Based on this technical background, the present invention aims to implement a mobile electric vehicle charging system using solar power generation.
[0018] The core features of this invention are establishing an eco-friendly charging system by self-generating electricity through solar power, maximizing charging efficiency by combining it with a battery rental method, and enhancing user convenience through a smart management system. This resolves the problems associated with existing fixed charging stations and provides a more practical and sustainable electric vehicle charging solution. The problem to be solved
