Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a crossarm connection device between a utility pole and a distribution cable in the field of power distribution technology, and a method for maintaining the tension of a distribution cable using the same. More specifically, the invention relates to a crossarm connection device between a utility pole and a distribution cable and a method for maintaining the tension of a distribution cable using the same, which enables a worker to visually check the change and degree of tension of the distribution cable during maintenance work on a distribution line, and to take immediate measures such as tension adjustment during the maintenance work if necessary. Background Technology

[0003] Generally, crossbars are installed on utility poles of power distribution lines to span overhead power lines (hereinafter referred to as “distribution cables”), and suspension insulators are installed on the crossbars to mechanically support the distribution cables.

[0004] In other words, the distribution cables of the power distribution line are fixed to suspension insulators installed on utility poles and are loosely suspended in the air to have appropriate dip and tension.

[0005] In addition, a tension clamp is installed at one end of the suspension insulator to secure the power distribution cable, where the tension of the power distribution cable is applied.

[0006] FIG. 1 illustrates the connection structure between the crossarm (40), suspension insulator (10), and distribution cable (70) of an existing distribution line.

[0007] As described, one end of the tension clamp (30) is connected to the eye rod (11) of the suspension insulator (10) by a pin joint, and the other end is fixed to the power distribution cable (70).

[0008] That is, the existing tension clamp (30) has a 'U'-shaped arm (31) formed for coupling with the eye rod (11) of the suspension insulator (10), a connector pin (32) is mounted on this arm (31), and a split pin (33) is fitted to one end of the connector pin (32) to prevent it from detaching from the arm (31).

[0009] Accordingly, an eye shackle (60) is mounted on the end of the U-shaped rod (12) of the suspension insulator (10), and the eye shackle (60) is fixed to the crossarm (40) connected to the utility pole (1) with a ball shackle (50). Then, the eye rod (11) of the suspension insulator (10) is positioned between the arms (31) of the tension clamp (30), a connector pin (32) passes through the arms (31) and the eye rod (11), and a split pin (33) is inserted into the pin hole drilled at the end of the connector pin (32), thereby connecting the tension clamp (30) to the suspension insulator (10).

[0010] Furthermore, to elaborate on the existing connection structure between polymer suspension insulators and eye shackles, a structure is widely used in which the polymer suspension insulator is connected to an eye shackle coupled to a crossarm in a state where it can rotate in the vertical direction.

[0011] However, in the connection structure between the crossarms, suspension insulators, and distribution cables of such existing distribution lines, workers could not visually check for abnormalities or changes in the tension of the distribution cables.

[0012] In other words, there is a need for technology that allows workers to visually inspect changes and the extent of tension in distribution cables during maintenance work on distribution lines, and to take immediate measures, such as tension adjustment, during the maintenance work if necessary. [0060] In step (S120), a tension indicator plate drawn from a housing installed on a utility pole is detachably coupled to the support bar of the position-adjustable support block in a spread state so that its scale faces the corresponding polymer suspension insulator.

[0061] In step (S130), a laser point unit is fitted and fixed to a sensor fixing ring formed on the corresponding polymer suspension insulator of step (S120).

[0062] In step (S140), a laser is irradiated onto the tension display plate from the laser sensor of the laser pointer unit.

[0063] In step (S150), the change in tension of the corresponding power distribution cable is confirmed by comparing the point position of the laser irradiated on the tension display plate with the laser point position indicated by the display device during the previous tension verification operation.

[0064] In step (S160), if the tension of the distribution cable deviates from a preset ideal tension range based on the tension change confirmed through step (S150), the fixing state of the distribution cable to the tension clamp is adjusted so as to be adjusted to the ideal tension range.

[0065] In step (S170), the position of the laser point of the laser sensor on the tension display plate during this tension verification operation is displayed through the display mechanism.

[0066] And the steps (S110) to (S170) described above are carried out sequentially for each of the polymer suspension insulators installed on the above-mentioned metal.

[0067] With the above-described configuration, it becomes possible for a worker to visually check the change in tension of a distribution cable and its extent during maintenance work on a distribution line, and then, if necessary, take immediate measures such as tension adjustment during the maintenance work.
