Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a stator assembly for an axle generator of a vehicle. More specifically, the present invention relates to a stator assembly for an axle generator of a vehicle having a novel structure that can stably fix the stator assembly of the axle generator to the axle housing and prevent moisture from penetrating into the stator assembly. Background Technology
[0002] Generally, generators installed in vehicles produce electricity by rotating the generator through the rotation of a crank mechanism connected to the engine, and store the generated electricity in a battery for use. Since they are installed in conjunction with the vehicle's crank mechanism, there are constraints such as installation space.
[0003] To overcome these limitations, Korean Registered Patent No. 10-1665215 discloses an axle generator installed on the wheel portion of a vehicle to generate power through the rotation of the wheel. This prior art presents an axle generator with a structure in which a stator is installed on an arm member covering the upper side of the wheel, and a rotor, which rotates by the axle, is positioned inside the stator. However, with this structure, the fixation of the stator is unstable, and since the rotor rotates inside the stator, the size of the stator or rotor is limited, which may be disadvantageous in terms of power generation capacity or efficiency.
[0004] Japanese Patent Publication No. JP 2007-129805 discloses an in-wheel generator having a structure in which at least one part of a rotor and a stator is placed in a space enclosed by a wheel disc and a rim. In this prior art, the stator is coupled to a bearing, so there is a problem that the stator is difficult to fix stably, and the structure regarding how lead wires drawn from the stator are arranged is not disclosed.
[0005] In the two prior art technologies described above, the stator is positioned on the wheel side, so it is susceptible to exposure to external moisture or water, which can lead to failure of the generator or a decrease in efficiency due to moisture.

[0042] FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing a stator assembly (100) for an axle generator of a vehicle according to the present invention, FIG. 2 is a side view showing a stator assembly (100) for an axle generator of a vehicle according to the present invention, and FIG. 3 is an exploded perspective view showing a stator assembly (100) for an axle generator of a vehicle according to the present invention.
[0043] As illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 3, a stator assembly (100) for an axle generator of a vehicle according to the present invention comprises a molded stator (1), an extension cover (2), a printed circuit board (PCB) (3), a lead wire cover (4), and a sleeve (5).
[0044] The mold stator (1) consists of a mold housing (10) and a winding stator (11) inside the mold housing. The winding stator (11) includes an upper insulator (111) and a lower insulator (112) coupled to the upper and lower parts of the stator core (110), and further includes a PCB support (113) coupled to the upper part of the upper insulator (111), and a coil (114) wound on the tooth (110B) portion of the stator core (110) and electrically connected to the magnetic terminal (113C-1) of the PCB support (113). The stator core (110) has a cylindrical core base (110A) that is open at the top and bottom and has an internal space. A plurality of press-fit protrusions (110A-1) are formed on the inner surface of the core base (110A) and protrude in the direction of the center of the cylinder. By pressing the inner surface of the stator core (110) into the outer surface of the axle housing by means of these multiple press-fit protrusions (110A-1), the stator assembly (100) can be firmly coupled to the axle housing.
[0045] The mold housing (10) is formed by injection molding by positioning the winding stator (11) in an insert injection mold. Therefore, the mold housing (10) becomes a single part integrally with the winding stator (11). Although the mold housing (10) is shown as being separated from the winding stator (11) in FIG. 3, this is merely a disassembled illustration for convenience of understanding, and the actual mold housing (10) cannot be separated from the winding stator (11). When injection molding the mold housing (10),
[0046] The mold housing (10) includes an upper housing (101) formed on the upper part of the winding stator (11), a lower housing (102) formed on the lower part of the winding stator (11), and a connecting part (103) that connects the upper housing (101) and the lower housing (102) by injecting a molten resin between the slots (110C) of the winding stator (11). A PCB mounting part (101A) is formed on the upper part of the upper housing (101), and the detailed configuration of this PCB mounting part (101A) will be explained again below.
[0047] An extension cover (2) is coupled to the PCB mounting portion (101A) formed on the upper part of the mold housing (10) to allow the axial outer diameter of the PCB (3) to be mounted. The PCB (3) is mounted on the inner side of the extension cover (2) and on the PCB mounting portion (101A) of the upper housing (101). As the PCB (3) is mounted on the PCB mounting portion (101A), its size is expanded toward the extension cover (2). A lead wire is drawn out from the upper part of this expanded portion, and the lead wire is wrapped and protected by a lead wire cover (4). The lead wire cover (4) consists of a corrugated tube (41) that wraps the lead wire and a connector (42) coupled to the upper part of the corrugated tube (41) and electrically connected to the end of the lead wire. A PCB sealing (30) is formed by injecting a molten resin, such as epoxy resin, into the inner space of the extension cover (2) and the PCB mounting portion (101A).
[0048] The sleeve (5) has a ring-shaped sleeve body (51) and is coupled to the upper part of the upper housing (101). One or more protruding coupling portions (51A) formed protruding upward from the sleeve body (51) are coupled to a flange (not shown) fixedly installed on the axle housing. Since the inner surface of the stator core (110) is pressed into the outer surface of the axle housing and the sleeve (5) is coupled to the flange of the axle housing, the stator assembly (100) according to the present invention achieves a strong and stable connection with the axle housing. A sealing member (52) may be coupled to the outer surface of the sleeve (5).
[0049] A plurality of coupling holes (51B) are formed by penetrating vertically through the sleeve body (51), and an insert nut (101B) is positioned in the upper housing (101) at a position corresponding to the coupling holes (51B). When the winding stator (11) is positioned in the insert injection mold to form the mold housing (10), the insert nut (101B) and the winding stator (11) are positioned together within the injection mold to form the mold housing (10), so that the insert nut (101B) is positioned on the upper part of the upper housing (101) and exposed upwards. Accordingly, the sleeve (5) is coupled to the upper part of the mold housing (10) by joining a screw (S) while the coupling holes (51B) and the insert nut (101B) are positioned vertically.
