[0027] Hereinafter, an embodiment of a cylinder for a secondary battery with improved airtightness according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.

[0028] FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing one embodiment of a cylinder for a secondary battery with improved airtightness according to the present invention, FIG. 2 is a partial cross-sectional view of the cylinder shown in FIG. 1, and FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view in the direction of the arrow shown in FIG. 2.

[0029] The cylinder for a secondary battery with improved airtightness according to the present invention, illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 3, is used in a secondary battery material transfer line to transfer positive electrode powder and comprises a piston tube (10), guide tubes (20) provided on both sides of the piston tube (10), a front primary scraper (30) and a front secondary scraper (40) sequentially provided in the front and rear directions on the inner surface of the guide tube (20), and a rear primary scraper (50) and a rear secondary scraper (60) sequentially provided in the rear and rear directions on the inner surface of the guide tube (20).

[0030] The above piston tube (10) forms the body of the cylinder together with the guide tube (20), and a piston rod (11) is installed between the two guide tubes (20) and has a piston (12) installed thereon, which is installed so as to be able to move back and forth.

[0031] To elaborate, a front plate (13) is installed at the front end of the piston rod (11), that is, at the end of the piston rod (11) that is exposed outside the entrance / exit side of the piston tube (10), and a head cover (14) is installed on the opposite side of the entrance / exit of the piston tube (10).

[0032] The above guide tube (20) helps the piston rod (11) to move back and forth accurately without shaking, and the guide rod (21) is installed to move back and forth within the guide tube (20).

[0033] The above-mentioned front primary scraper (30) is provided at the very front of the inner surface of the guide tube (20) and is in close contact with the front surface of the guide rod (21), and is in the form of an inner ring (32) made of elastic material combined with an outer ring (31) made of steel material.

[0034] Here, the elastic material constituting the inner ring (32) of the front primary scraper (30) is composed of NBR (Nitrile-butadiene rubber) or urethane, and this inner ring (32) is in close contact with the outer surface of the guide rod (21).

[0035] To elaborate, the outer ring (31) of the front primary scraper (30) is forcibly pressed into the guide tube (20) in a press-fit manner, and the inner ring (32) made of an elastic material is attached to the inner surface of the outer ring (31) and comes into close contact with the guide rod (21). As a result, the outer ring (31) blocks foreign matter from entering between the outer side of the front primary scraper (30) and the inner side of the guide tube (20), and the inner ring (32) blocks foreign matter from entering between the inner side of the front primary scraper (30) and the outer side of the guide rod (21).

[0036] The above-mentioned front secondary scraper (40) is located immediately behind the front primary scraper (30) and is made of a porous material formed into a ring shape. Here, the porous material constituting the front secondary scraper (40) is composed of fibers that are tough and have little deformation.

[0037] The above-mentioned rear primary scraper (50) is provided spaced apart from the rear side of the front secondary scraper (40), and, like the front secondary scraper (40), is made of a porous material in the shape of a ring, and the porous material is composed of fibers that are tough and have little deformation.

[0038] Here, a lubricant groove (22) is formed on the inner surface of the guide tube (20) corresponding to the area between the front secondary scraper (40) and the rear primary scraper (50), into which a lubricant such as grease is filled. The lubricant filled in this area is applied to the outer surface of the guide rod (21) to prevent the anode powder from flowing into the guide tube (20), and also to provide lubrication between the guide tube (20) and the guide rod (21).

[0039] To elaborate further, fine metal-based powder is fine dust small enough to pass between the rod and the scraper; such fine dust enters the cylinder and eventually causes the cylinder to lose its function. Therefore, blocking the entry of fine dust into the cylinder is a critical task, and accordingly, the present invention forms a plurality of lubricant grooves.

[0040] The lubricant groove traps fine dust mixed with a lubricant, such as grease, preventing it from entering the cylinder. By preventing dust ingress and applying a lubricating film to the rod surface, it enables the rod and scraper to perform their functions, thereby extending the life of the cylinder.

[0041] Meanwhile, a bush (B) is installed between the front secondary scraper (40) and the rear primary scraper (50), and lubricant grooves (41, 51) may be formed between the front secondary scraper (40) and the bush (B) and between the rear primary scraper (50) and the bush (B), respectively.

[0042] The rear secondary scraper (60) is provided immediately behind the rear primary scraper (50), and, like the front primary scraper (30), is in the form of an inner ring (62) made of elastic material combined with an outer ring (61) made of steel material.

[0043] Here, the elastic material constituting the inner ring (62) of the rear secondary scraper (60) is composed of NBR (Nitrile-butadiene rubber) or urethane, and this inner ring (62) is in close contact with the outer surface of the guide rod (21).

[0044] To elaborate, the outer ring (61) of the rear secondary scraper (60) is forcibly pressed into the guide tube (20) in a press-fit manner, and the inner ring (62) made of an elastic material is attached to the inner surface of the outer ring (61) and comes into close contact with the guide rod (21). As a result, the outer ring (61) blocks foreign matter from entering between the outer side of the rear secondary scraper (60) and the inner side of the guide tube (20), and the inner ring (62) blocks foreign matter from entering between the inner side of the rear secondary scraper (60) and the outer side of the guide rod (21).

[0045] Meanwhile, the present invention may also be configured as shown in FIGS. 4 to 6.

[0046] FIG. 4 is a perspective view showing another embodiment of a cylinder for a secondary battery with improved airtightness according to the present invention, FIG. 5 is a partial cross-sectional view of the cylinder shown in FIG. 4, and FIG. 6 is an exploded view of the cylinder shown in FIG. 4.

[0047] The cylinder illustrated in FIGS. 4 to 6 may be configured to include a piston tube (10) in which a piston rod (11) is installed to move back and forth, a guide tube (20) in which a guide rod (21) is installed to move back and forth on both sides of the piston tube (10), a rod-side plate (70), a head-side plate (80), a front primary scraper (30) and a front secondary scraper (40) sequentially provided on the inner surface of the rod-side plate (70) and in close contact with the front surface of the guide rod (21), and a rear primary scraper (50) and a rear secondary scraper (60) sequentially provided on the inner surface of the head-side plate (80) and in close contact with the rear surface of the guide rod (21).

[0048] That is, compared to the cylinders shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the cylinder of the present invention shown in FIGS. 4 to 6 has a front primary scraper (30) and a front secondary scraper (40), a rear primary scraper (50) and a rear secondary scraper (60) installed on the inner surface of the guide tube (20), and are installed on the rod-side plate (70) and the head-side plate (80), respectively.

[0049] The above rod-side plate (70) is bolted to the front end of the piston tube (10) and guide tube (20), and a front primary scraper (30) and a front secondary scraper (40) are sequentially provided on the inner surface. To elaborate, the rod-side plate (70) is penetrated at the upper and lower sides by the guide rod (21), and the front primary scraper (30) and the front secondary scraper (40) are provided at this penetration area. In addition, a lubricant groove (73) may be formed between the front primary scraper (30) and the front secondary scraper (40).

[0050] Additionally, the rod-side plate (70) is provided with a front scraper (71) and a rear scraper (72) that are in close contact with the outer surface of the piston rod (11). To elaborate, the central part of the rod-side plate (70) is penetrated by the piston rod (11), and the front scraper (71) and the rear scraper (72) are provided in this penetrating part.

[0051] The above-mentioned front scraper (71) is in the form of having an inner ring (71b) made of elastic material attached to the inner side of an outer ring (71a) made of steel material, similar to the front primary scraper (30), and this elastic material is composed of NBR or urethane.

[0052] To elaborate, the outer ring (71a) of the front scraper (71) is forcibly pressed into the rod-side plate (70) in a press-fit manner, and the inner ring (71b) made of an elastic material is attached to the inner surface of the outer ring (71a) and comes into close contact with the piston rod (11). As a result, the outer ring (71a) prevents foreign matter from entering between the outer side of the front scraper (71) and the inner side of the rod-side plate (70), and the inner ring (71b) prevents foreign matter from entering between the inner side of the front scraper (71) and the outer side of the piston rod (11).

[0053] The rear scraper (72) above is made of a porous material in the shape of a ring, similar to the front secondary scraper (40), and this porous material is made of fibers and contains a lubricant.

[0054] The head-side plate (80) is bolted to the rear end of the piston tube (10) and guide tube (20), and a rear primary scraper (50) and a rear secondary scraper (60) are sequentially provided on the inner surface. In addition, a lubricant groove (81) may be formed between the rear primary scraper (50) and the rear secondary scraper (60).

[0055] To elaborate, the head-side plate (80) is penetrated at the upper and lower sides by a guide rod (21), and a rear primary scraper (50) and a rear secondary scraper (60) are sequentially provided at this penetration area.

[0056] Here, since the rod-side plate (70) and the head-side plate (80) are joined to the piston tube (10) and the guide tube (20) by a bolting method using multiple bolts, the joining process of the rod-side plate (70) and the head-side plate (80) is very easy. Therefore, the rod-side plate (70) and the head-side plate (80) that were joined to the piston tube (10) and the guide tube (20) can also be separated very easily by simply turning the bolts in the opposite direction.

[0057] By easily separating the rod-side plate (70) and the head-side plate (80) in this way, the front primary scraper (30) and front secondary scraper (40), and the rear primary scraper (50) and rear secondary scraper (60) provided inside can also be easily removed, which has the advantage of making it very easy to replace or repair the scrapers.

[0058] Here, the front primary scraper (30) and front secondary scraper (40) provided on the rod-side plate (70), and the rear primary scraper (50) and rear secondary scraper (60) provided on the head-side plate (80) are identical in material or composition to the components of the same name described above, so a description thereof is omitted here.

[0059] Meanwhile, returning to the explanation in FIGS. 1 to 3, a rod cover (90) is attached to the front end of the piston tube (10), that is, the entrance / exit side of the piston tube (10), and supports the piston rod (11) while being penetrated by the piston rod (11).

[0060] The above rod cover (90) has a first scraper (91), a second scraper (92), a third scraper (93), and a rod packing (94) sequentially provided on the inner surface in the front-rear direction, which are in close contact with the outer surface of the piston rod (11).

[0061] The first scraper (91) is provided at the very front of the load cover (90) and is in the form of an inner ring (91b) made of elastic material combined with an outer ring (91a) made of steel material.

[0062] Here, the elastic material constituting the inner ring (91b) of the first scraper (91) is composed of NBR (Nitrile-butadiene rubber) or urethane, and this inner ring (91b) is in close contact with the outer surface of the piston rod (11).

[0063] To elaborate, the outer ring (91a) of the first scraper (91) is forcibly pressed into the rod cover (90) in a press-fit manner, and the inner ring (91b) made of an elastic material is coupled to the inner side of the outer ring (91a) and is in close contact with the piston rod (11). Therefore, not only is the entry of foreign matter from the outside between the outer side of the first scraper (91) and the inner side of the rod cover (90) blocked by the outer ring (91a), but the entry of foreign matter from the outside between the inner side of the first scraper (91) and the outer side of the piston rod (11) can also be blocked by the inner ring (91b).

[0064] The second scraper (92) is located behind the first scraper (91) and is formed from a porous material in a ring shape. Here, the porous material constituting the second scraper (92) is composed of fibers that are tough and have little deformation.

[0065] The third scraper (93) is provided between the second scraper (92) and the load packing (94), and is made of a porous material composed of fibers in a ring shape, similar to the second scraper (92).

[0066] Here, the porous material constituting the second scraper (92) and the third scraper (93) contains a lubricant such as grease, so the lubricant is applied to the outer surface of the piston rod (11), thereby providing lubrication.

[0067] In addition, a lubricant groove (95) filled with lubricant is formed at an inner surface point of the rod cover (90) corresponding to between the second scraper (92) and the third scraper (93), and between the third scraper (93) and the rod packing (94), thereby further enhancing the lubrication effect between the rod cover (90) and the piston rod (11) and the effect of blocking the inflow of powder into the piston tube (10).
