Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a core-coating device for a solidified radioactive waste cement. Background Technology

[0002] In general, various types of radioactive waste generated during the operation of nuclear power plants require strict safety standards for disposal.

[0003] Among radioactive waste, homogeneous waste such as concentrated waste liquid or waste resin can be disposed of in the form of a cemented solidified body at a specific receiving location after undergoing a solidification process using mainly cement to ensure the safety of disposal.

[0004] The solidified cementitious body undergoes a solidification process to evaluate its solidification characteristics (acceptability) through sampling. The sampling process can be carried out by collecting sample specimens from the solidified cementitious body using a coring device.

[0005] The coring device used for sampling operations is equipped with a cylindrical hollow rotor and is structured to enable the collection of samples from solidified cement through a coring (cutting) action caused by the rotation of this rotor.

[0006] However, it is difficult to expect satisfactory coring performance from such coring devices when coring cementitious bodies in an abnormal solidification state.

[0007] In particular, if viscous solidification material is generated within the solidified body due to an abnormal solidification state, not only is an excessive rotational load applied to the rotating body side during coring, but it can also lead to serious operational problems such as jamming.

[0008] Therefore, when performing coring operations on solidified cement using a coring device, a device structure capable of actively responding to the aforementioned problems is required to ensure satisfactory operational safety and efficiency.

[0021] FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram showing the overall structure of a core ring device for a radioactive waste cement solidified body according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIGS. 2 to 6 are drawings for explaining the detailed structure and operation of a core device for a radioactive waste cement solidified body according to an embodiment of the present invention. Specific details for implementing the invention

[0022] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the attached drawings.

[0023] Embodiments of the present invention are described within the scope in which those with average knowledge in the art can practice the present invention.

[0024] Therefore, since the embodiments of the present invention can be modified in various different forms, the claims of the present invention are not limited to the embodiments described below.

[0025] FIG. 1 is a schematic diagram showing the overall structure of a core ring device for a radioactive waste cement solidified body according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIGS. 2 to 6 are diagrams for explaining the detailed structure and operation,

[0026] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 5, a core device for a radioactive waste cement solidification body according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a rotating body (10), a cutting part (20), and an operating assisting part (30).

[0027] The core device for a radioactive waste cement solidified body according to an embodiment of the present invention can be used for a sampling operation to evaluate the solidification characteristics of a radioactive waste cement solidified body (W, hereinafter referred to as "cement solidified body") as shown in FIG. 1.

[0028] The cement solidified body (W) may be a drum-shaped solidified body obtained by cement solidifying homogeneous waste, such as concentrated waste liquid or waste resin among radioactive waste, for example.

[0029] As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the rotating body (10) is provided with a hollow extraction space (12) on the inside and is formed to have a cylindrical shape that corresponds to a rotational coring operation.

[0030] The rotating body (10) can be made of a material with excellent wear resistance, chemical resistance, and durability.

[0031] The rotating body (10) can be detachably mounted on the side of a separate driving source (M) for coring as shown in FIG. 1 and can be cored in a state where it rotates and moves forward around an axis.

[0032] The cutting part (20) is formed to have a structure capable of cutting and processing the cement solidification body (W) side in conjunction with the rotational movement of the rotating body (10) so that a sample can be taken for sampling.

[0033] The cutting portion (20) is formed on the side of the rotating body (10), and is formed on the insertion end (lower) side among the two longitudinal ends of the rotating body (10) so as to correspond to the coring operation by rotation and forward operation.

[0034] The cutting portion (20) is provided with a plurality of cutting blades (22) as shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, and these cutting blades (22) may be formed so as to protrude downward at a distance from each other on the lower circumference side of the rotating body (10).

[0035] It is preferable that the cutting portion (20) be formed to have resistance characteristics that correspond to the cutting treatment of the cement solidified body (W), for example, through a heat treatment process.

[0036] As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the cutting portion (20) is formed with cutting blades (22) protruding downward from the lower circumference side of the rotating body (10), thereby providing a structure capable of securing cutting force in conjunction with the rotational coring operation of the rotating body (10).

[0037] In addition, the cutting blades (22) are formed spaced apart and protruding downward from the lower circumference side of the rotating body (10) as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, thereby providing a structure in which non-protruding parts (24) corresponding to the operating assist part (30) described later can be secured between them.

[0038] Meanwhile, the operating assist part (30) is structured to be compatible with securing the rotational core operation of the rotating body (10).

[0039] In particular, the operating assist member (30) can be formed to have a structure that is suitable for suppressing and resolving excessive rotational load or jamming phenomena that may occur during the coring operation of the rotating body (10).

[0040] It is known that excessive rotational load or jamming phenomena on the rotating body (10) side are mainly caused by the frictional force of the viscous solidified material (W1) by the fluid solidification medium when the cement solidified body (W) is abnormally solidified and moisture remains inside.

[0041] The operating assist member (30) may be formed by a guide passage (32) formed on the side of the rotating body (10) as shown in FIG. 3 and an assist member (34) detachably installed on the side of the guide passage (32).

[0042] The guide passage (32) is formed on the side of the rotating body (10), and is formed so as to provide a passage for the installation of the auxiliary member (34) in a state corresponding to the side of the cutting part (20).

[0043] The guide passage (32) can be formed to form a through passage extending from the upper circumference side in the longitudinal direction of the rotating body (10) toward the lower cutting part (20) side, based on FIGS. 2 and 3.

[0044] Guide passages (32) are formed on the circumferential side of the rotating body (10), and multiple guide passages may be formed to form parallel passage sections spaced apart from each other.

[0045] And, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the guide passage (32) is formed through the circumferential side of the rotating body (10), and can be formed to form a passage section that penetrates through the non-protruding part (24) between the cutting blades (22) of the cutting part (20).

[0046] The auxiliary member (34) is installed in a state corresponding to the cutting part (20) side through the guide passage (32) side and is configured as a device having a function that ensures the coring operability of the rotating body (10).

[0047] The auxiliary device (34) may be composed of one or more devices among a drill device (D1), a suction device (D2), and a softening device (D3) as shown in FIG. 3.

[0048] The drill device (D1) has the shape of a drill bit and can be formed and set so that the non-protruding area (24) of the cutting part (20) can be drilled through the guide passage (32) side as in FIG. 5.

[0049] Although not shown in the drawing, the drilling device (D1) can be connected and set up so that drilling can be driven by a separate drilling drive source.

[0050] The drill device (D1) can crush viscous solidified material (W1) that may occur on the non-protruding area (24) of the cutting part (20) during the coring operation of a cement solidified body (W) in an abnormal solidified state by impact in a drilling manner.

[0051] In this way, by impact crushing the viscous solidified material (W1) with a drill device (D1), excessive frictional force that may be generated by the viscous solidified material (W1) during the coring operation can be reduced.

[0052] The suction device (D2) has the shape of a suction nozzle and can be formed and set so that a suction atmosphere can be generated on the non-protruding area (24) of the cutting part (20) through the guide passage (32) side as shown in FIG. 5.

[0053] Although not shown in the drawing, the suction device (D2) can be connected and set up to enable the generation of a suction atmosphere by driving a separate suction drive source.

[0054] The suction device (D2) can discharge and remove viscous solidified material (W1) that may occur on the non-protruding area (24) of the cutting part (20) as shown in FIG. 5 during the coring operation of a cement solidified body (W) in an abnormal solidified state by a suction method.

[0055] The suction device (D2) processes the viscous coagulated material (W1) by discharging it into a suction atmosphere, and, for example, by suctioning the viscous coagulated material (W1) that has been crushed by impact in conjunction with the operation of the drill device (D1), the viscous coagulated material (W1) can be discharged and removed more smoothly from the non-protruding part (24) side.

[0056] The softening device (D3) has a supply nozzle shape and can be formed and set so that the softening agent (Q) can be supplied to the non-protruding part (24) of the cutting part (20) through the guide passage (32) side as in FIG. 5.

[0057] The softening device (D3) can be connected and set up to receive a softening agent (Q) from a separate softening agent supply unit, although it is not shown in the drawing.

[0058] The softening device (D3) can soften viscous solidified material (W1) that may occur on the non-protruding area (24) of the cutting part (20) as shown in FIG. 5 during the coring operation of a cement solidified body (W) in an abnormal solidified state by supplying a softening agent (Q).

[0059] The softening device (D3) softens the viscous coagulated material (W1), and the softening process can be carried out as an optional preceding or subsequent process in conjunction with the operation of, for example, a drill device (D1) or a suction device (D2).

[0060] And, the operation and operation of each device (D1, D2, D3) of the above-mentioned auxiliary device (34) is carried out while the core operation of the rotating body (10) is stopped.

[0061] This operating aid (30) can ensure stable coring operation of the rotating body (10) by selectively operating the devices (D1, D2, D3) of the aid (34) according to the required conditions during the coring operation.

[0062] Referring to FIG. 6, the auxiliary member (34) of the operating auxiliary member (30) may be configured to have a separation device (D4).

[0063] The separation device (D4) is configured to induce the separation of viscous solidified material (W1) that may occur on the non-protruding side (24) of the cutting part (20) during the coring of the cement solidified body (W).

[0064] The separation device (D4) has a conical pusher shape as shown in FIG. 6 and can be set to perform a pushing operation with the end of the cone facing downward inside the guide passage (32).

[0065] Although not shown in the drawing, the separation device (D4) can be connected and set to perform an upward and downward pushing operation on the guide passage (32) side by a separate pushing drive source.

[0066] This separation device (D4) can induce separation by pushing out the viscous solidified material (W1) on the non-protruding side (24) of the cutting part (20) through an upward and downward pushing motion, thereby ensuring the coring operability of the rotating body (10).

[0067] Accordingly, the present invention can provide a coring device structure that allows for easy collection of a sample for evaluating solidification characteristics from a cement solidified body (W) by a rotational coring operation of a rotating body (10) having a cutting part (20) formed on the lower side.

[0068] In particular, the present invention provides a device structure that can actively respond to the phenomenon in which the coring operability of the rotating body (10) is reduced by the viscous solidified material (W1) within the cement solidified body (W) during coring by providing an operating assisting part (30) for securing the coring operability of the rotating body (10).

[0069] Therefore, the present invention can ensure coring operability for sampling a cement solidified body (W), thereby enabling the realization of a work environment that further enhances work safety and work efficiency. Explanation of the symbols
