Cell division occurs within the hair matrix cells present in the hair papilla of the scalp follicle, pushing the hair upward to grow. Therefore, the area above the hair matrix cells, where cell division does not occur, cannot be considered living cells; consequently, if the hair that has grown above the scalp is damaged, it cannot regenerate on its own.

The method involves measuring and mixing the first and second components in equal proportions, applying them to the hair, leaving it on for 30 minutes, and then rinsing with water. While the oxidative dyes used in the first component have excellent dyeing power and durability, they have the disadvantage of containing dyes that can cause scalp allergies, such as p-phenylenediamine, m-aminophenol, resorcinol, and toluene-2,5-diamine sulfate. When hair dye comes into contact with the scalp during a dyeing procedure, quinonediamine and quinoneimine, which are produced by the metabolic oxidation of oxidative dyes, bind to amino acids and proteins, triggering a sensitization reaction. Additionally, p-nitrosoaniline, an oxidation product of the dye, and Bandrowski's bases undergo a strong cross-reaction, causing a sensitization reaction on the scalp. These allergic symptoms vary widely, ranging from mild symptoms such as itching and redness to severe ones including erythema, swelling, and blisters. Even if symptoms are mild immediately after the procedure, they often intensify after 2-3 days, causing damage to the scalp. Furthermore, since the second component of oxidative hair dyes uses hydrogen peroxide, a powerful oxidizing agent, it oxidizes the hair and scalp during the process, inevitably leading to damage and premature aging.
