Abstract

The present invention relates to a DC-DC converter that generates multiple output voltages using a single external inductor. The converter according to the present invention stores energy in an inductor in a first phase, supplies energy through different output terminals in the second and third (and optionally a fourth) phases, and can improve the power efficiency and stability of multiple outputs by controlling phase termination, skipping, and fifth phase transition based on a current detection value, a variable reference voltage comparison, a PSM signal, and a ZCS signal.
