[0042] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the attached drawings.

[0043] FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing the power cutoff configuration of the RD switching module for lighting control of the present invention.

[0044] The present invention comprises a power system configured with a slidingly detachable RD switching module in a lighting control unit, which provides leakage current interruption and overload interruption functions during the switching of the RD switching module, and which can completely interrupt leakage current when the lighting is turned OFF. To this end, the RD switching module for lighting control receives power through a three-phase four-wire power input unit including R, S, T, and N phases, and in a line forming multiple channels, earth leakage circuit breakers are connected to each of the RN, SN, and TN phases to interrupt power when leakage current occurs, and solid-state relays (SSRs) that individually interrupt the R, S, and T phases are connected to each of the output terminals of the earth leakage circuit breakers, and mechanical relays are connected to the output terminal of the SSR and the N phase, respectively, so that a plurality of mechanical relays are installed to individually interrupt the RN, SN, and TN phases of each channel. The mechanical relays can independently control the power supply of each channel. This power interruption configuration achieves complete extinguishing of residual light in the control of LED lighting. In addition, the power components of the RD switching module, the SSRs, are separated by channel, so in the event of a problem, only the components of the corresponding channel can be replaced.

[0045] The configuration of the lighting control unit (10) including the RD switching module including the power cutoff configuration as described above is illustrated in FIG. 2.

[0046] The cabinet-type lighting control unit (10) includes an RD switching module, a central processing unit (CPU), and a terminal block unit to which the lighting is connected.

[0047] The above multi-channel lighting control RD switching modules (100) are arranged in multiple numbers on the front of the lighting control unit, and each of them can be attached and detached in a sliding manner, making configuration and repair / replacement easy. Since the RD switching modules (100) can be attached and detached while the power is on, they can be easily repaired in case of a problem. The sliding method is a detachable method similar to opening and closing a drawer, as shown in detail in FIG. 6.

[0048] Each RD switching module (100) can produce a 5kW output and can include three channels. It detects the load capacity for each channel and automatically cuts off the power in case of overload. It also automatically cuts off the power in case of a short circuit. In this embodiment, 24 RD switching modules (100) are arranged to handle 72 circuits. However, the number of RD switching modules (100) can be adjusted depending on the situation. In an emergency, the RD switching module (100) can manually operate and output individual circuits.

[0049] A blank panel (200) for wire organization is placed above where the RD switching module (100) is arranged. The lighting control unit (10) allows a worker to perform cable work, etc. from the front, thereby increasing the convenience of installation, maintenance, and repair work, and wire organization can also be done using the blank panel (200) located at the front. A busbar panel (400) is installed below where the RD switching module (100) is arranged, and a blank panel (300) for safety is installed between the RD switching module (100) and the busbar panel. The busbar panel (400) is equipped with a power circuit breaker and exposes a circuit breaker switch (410) to the outside.

[0050] The rack-type lighting control unit (10) includes a central processing unit (CPU) (500) and is responsible for the backup system of the lighting control unit, manual and automatic switching, communication control, and remote control support functions.

[0051] That is, the central processing unit (CPU) (500) supports a redundancy (backup) system mode. To ensure system stability, it supports a redundancy configuration, and if a failure occurs in the main control module (CPU1), it automatically switches to the backup module (CPU2), enabling uninterrupted operation. In other words, since the CPU modules monitor each other, if one CPU fails, control is transferred to another CPU. To use this automatic backup function, DMX or Art-Net signals are connected to each CPU module in the same way.

[0052] It features manual and automatic failover functions. Users can perform manual failover as needed, and it also provides a function that automatically switches based on the system status.

[0053] It supports DMX and RDM protocols. By supporting DMX512 and RDM (Remote Device Management) protocols, which are lighting control standards, it ensures compatibility with various lighting equipment.

[0054] It is compatible with the Art-Net protocol. By supporting the Art-Net protocol for network-based lighting control, flexible network control is possible even in large-scale performance venues and stage environments.

[0055] A remote control unit is integrated with the CPU. Through integration with an external control system, remote monitoring and control are possible, improving operational efficiency and maintenance convenience.

[0056] In addition, the CPU (500) can be attached and detached in a sliding manner as shown in FIG. 7, making maintenance and replacement easy. It is not necessary to turn off the main power when attaching and detaching in a sliding manner. The terminal block section to which the lighting is connected is configured on the side of the cabinet-type lighting control system (10) as shown in FIG. 4. When the door on the front right side of the lighting control unit (10) is opened, the terminal block is immediately positioned, allowing cable work to be done from the front. Therefore, the rear of the rack-type lighting control unit (10) can be installed close to the wall, making space utilization efficient. The detailed configuration of the terminal block will be described later.

[0057] The touch screen (Touch LCD) (600) included in the rack-type lighting control unit provides a user-friendly interface and performs key functions such as DMX Patch setting, status monitoring of voltage, current, temperature, etc., and output ON / OFF testing. That is, as follows.

[0058] DMX Patch setting function; DMX channel patch settings can be configured via a touch screen (600), allowing for intuitive addressing and channel mapping of lighting equipment. Users can easily configure and modify DMX addresses for each piece of equipment, thereby increasing the efficiency of system installation and operation.

[0059] RD module status monitoring; provides a function to visually check the real-time status of the RD switch module. The operating status of each circuit, power consumption, and the presence of temperature abnormalities can be monitored via an LCD screen, thereby supporting the stable operation of the system. In the event of an overload or when the internal temperature exceeds a predetermined temperature, for example, 70 to 80°C or higher, the user is alerted via a touch panel and sound (buzzer, alarm, etc.).

[0060] Manual operation function of the RD module; each circuit of the RD module can be manually controlled using a touch screen (600). This allows for direct operation in addition to automatic control depending on the field conditions and is useful for maintenance and emergency response.

[0061] FIG. 3 is an overall configuration diagram of the lighting control system of the present invention, showing that the lighting control unit (10), the lighting connected thereto, the remote control unit (700), and the lighting console are included in the lighting control system. The remote control unit (700) incorporates almost all the functions of the lighting console into a touch computer, allowing the lighting to be controlled without the lighting console. That is, the touch display of the touch computer is used as an HMI (Human-Machine Interface) to conveniently realize the functions of the console.

[0062] In some cases, more precise lighting control can be achieved by using the remote control unit (700) and the lighting console together. The remote control unit (700) and the lighting console can prevent interference conflicts by setting the priority of commands. After the remote control unit controls the on / off of the lighting channel through the overall layout, detailed control (cue, fader, effect, timeline, etc.) of the lights turned on by the lighting console can be performed.

[0063] The remote control unit (700) can monitor and control rack-type lighting control units, and if there are multiple lighting control units, control can be performed for each one. The functions of the remote control unit (700) include the following.

[0064] It has an ON / OFF function for individual channels and the entire channel power.

[0065] As a memory function, it has an automatic saving and recall function for the last state.

[0066] In other words, the computer saves the current state in real time whenever it changes, and the CPU module saves the DMX or Art-Net state to non-volatile memory whenever it changes; since the current state is saved in real time, the last state can be retrieved.

[0067] The status is displayed for each channel. For example, it is expressed using color and blinking, such as within the rated power range (e.g., 0 to 5KW): green, exceeding the rated power range (over 5KW): red, and a fault: flashing red. Here, the rated power standard may be a value slightly modified from 5KW. That is, it may be based on 4.5 to 5.5KW.

[0068] It has input and output voltage and current monitoring functions.

[0069] All channels can be controlled by communicating through a single Ethernet cable.

[0070] Supports Art-Net.

[0071] Free layout arrangement is possible for each channel.

[0072] It is possible to load a drawing as a background image and place RD channels (channels by RD switching modules) on the drawing.

[0073] Multiple RD channels can be grouped and managed as a group.

[0074] That is, the remote control unit can conveniently remotely monitor and control the RD switching module by using a touch display to provide a graphic-based user interface.

[0075] FIG. 8 shows an embodiment of using the touch display of the remote control unit of the present invention. It is an example of working by displaying a stage and audience seating as a drawing and displaying a lighting control layout next to it. After loading a floor plan or lighting layout of a building as a background image, the actual lighting control channel (RD channel) can be placed on top of it in the form of an icon or button, allowing the operator to intuitively control the lighting at the corresponding location.

[0076] The remote control unit may be composed of an all-in-one computer having a touch display panel or a computer including a large touch display.

[0077] Meanwhile, when using a writing console, it is advisable to use a backup console in conjunction. In the event of a problem with the writing console, work can be performed by switching to the backup console. Since each CPU module can receive two DMX signals simultaneously, the system can continue to operate based on the signals coming from the backup console. Additionally, backup is configured via Art-Net from the main console, and since each CPU module can receive this, it can also be operated as a backup.

[0078] Figure 4 shows the terminal block configuration of the lighting control unit of the present invention.

[0079] As described above, the rack-type lighting control unit (10) includes a terminal block unit on the front, allowing wiring work to be performed from the front. The terminal block unit appears when the door is opened on the right side of the RD switching module. The terminal block shown in the upper right of FIG. 4 is of the screw type, and the one shown below is of the spring type, lever type, or push type. The spring type, lever type, and push type are very convenient to work with.

[0080] FIG. 5 shows a Lock button and an Undo / Redo button implemented in the remote control unit of the present invention.

[0081] A lock button is installed on a remote control unit implemented with a touch panel to prevent malfunctions caused by accidentally touching the screen. If the lock icon is pressed for a predetermined time (e.g., 5 seconds or more), it switches to a Lock or Unlock state. If a predetermined time (e.g., set between 30 and 60 seconds) elapses without operation in the Unlock state, it automatically switches to the Lock state. This can provide security and safety.

[0082] In the Lock state, click and touch do not work for any buttons.

[0083] In addition, the user edit mode of the remote control unit includes Undo / Redo buttons, allowing users to revert to a previous state after executing a task. If you wish to return to the previous state after performing operations such as deletion or movement, you can click the “Undo” button; once the Undo operation is executed, the “Redo” button becomes active, enabling the revert operation.

[0084] The lighting control system of the present invention can simply supply / cut off power using an external switch (slide switch).
