Abstract

The present disclosure provides a hybrid electric mobility that receives driving power based on a supercapacitor and a method for controlling the same. A hybrid electric mobility according to one embodiment of the present disclosure includes a plurality of front wheels, a front wheel drive motor connected to the plurality of front wheels, a plurality of rear wheels, a rear wheel drive motor connected to the plurality of rear wheels, and a lithium-ion battery; a first power supply unit connected to the front wheel drive motor, a second power supply unit connected to the rear wheel drive motor and a supercapacitor, and a control unit that identifies the driving status of the electric mobility and provides driving power to the front wheel drive motor and the rear wheel drive motor through at least one of the first power supply unit and the second power supply unit based on the driving status.
