Abstract
A moisture-curable polyacrylate polymer having suspended moisture-reactive silyl-functional groups bonded to polymer chains, and a composition comprising said polyacrylate polymer are provided. said polyacrylate polymer and composition are cured by a condensation mechanism in the presence of moisture and a catalyst. said moisture-curable polyacrylate polymer and composition provide excellent resistance to automotive oil at high temperatures and are particularly useful as sealants and gaskets in automotive powertrains.
