Claim 1 A cat diaper having a transverse direction arranged along the circumference of the cat's body, a longitudinal direction perpendicular to the transverse direction and extending from the ventral side to the dorsal side of the cat, a main body portion having an absorbent core and extending across the ventral area, the groin area, and the dorsal area, and a fastening tape extending outwardly in the transverse direction from the main body portion and joining the ventral area and the dorsal area, wherein the absorbent core has a constriction portion that narrows inward in the transverse direction, and the ventral end edge at the inner edge of the transverse direction of the constriction portion is located dorsally relative to the center of the longitudinal direction of the absorbent core. Claim 2 A cat diaper according to claim 1, wherein the constriction portion has a ventral end edge located on the ventral side, a dorsal end edge located on the dorsal side, and a lateral edge connecting the inner edge, and a virtual line extending in the longitudinal direction passing through the transverse center of the constriction portion and also passing through the ventral end edge and a first intersection point where the ventral edge extending from the ventral end edge to the inner edge intersects the ventral edge, and a second intersection point where the virtual line intersects the dorsal edge extending from the dorsal end edge to the inner edge intersects the dorsal edge, and the distance between the first intersection point and the second intersection point where the virtual line intersects the dorsal edge extending from the dorsal end edge to the inner edge is less than 40% of the longitudinal length of the absorbent core.
