Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a calcined type powder cosmetic composition with improved physical properties. Background Technology
[0003] A makeup cosmetic composition in a fired formulation is generally prepared by mixing powder with water or an O / W emulsion to form a paste, molding it using an extruder, and then drying it.
[0005] At this stage, if the hardness of the dough is too high, a problem arises where moldability decreases. Therefore, the water content is adjusted to lower the hardness of the dough; however, if the water content exceeds a certain amount, shrinkage occurs in the product after drying, so it is not possible to include more than a certain amount of water.
[0007] In addition, talc, a filler pigment in cosmetics, is an oxide of magnesium and silica, Mg3Si4O 10 It is a plate-like inorganic oxide with the chemical formula (OH)2. The cleavage surfaces of this material lack hydroxyl (-OH) functional groups and possess silica-oxygen bonds, meaning they are not electron donors. Due to these physical properties, the cleavage surfaces do not form hydrogen bonds with water, resulting in hydrophobic characteristics; consequently, this makes dispersion in water difficult. Therefore, the affinity between the powder and water is important for controlling the hardness of the paste and facilitating dispersion.
[0009] Conventionally, to solve the aforementioned problems, makeup cosmetic compositions in a fired formulation were prepared by coating powder with a water-soluble substance. However, in this case, the repulsion between the coated powder and water is too low, resulting in low hardness of the paste state, which not only makes extrusion difficult but also causes the powder surface to be easily wiped off by substances such as sweat, leading to reduced makeup longevity. Conversely, when the powder is coated with oil, the makeup longevity increases, but the high repulsion between the coated powder and water makes molding difficult.
[0011] Cosmetics in the form of calcined powder formulations are sold with the molded product attached to a container. Since users frequently carry and use the containers, they often accidentally drop them; therefore, drop stability—that is, ensuring the molded product does not break upon impact—is considered important.
[0013] When the physical properties of molded cosmetics are adjusted to be firmer to improve drop stability, conversely, problems arise where sensory properties such as powder scattering, adhesion, and color development deteriorate.
[0015] Accordingly, the inventors have discovered that in manufacturing a calcined-type powder cosmetic composition that simultaneously satisfies drop stability, powder scattering, adhesion, and color development, a product that simultaneously satisfies the passing criteria for drop stability, powder scattering, adhesion, and color development can be manufactured by optimizing the composition and ratio of thickeners included in the aqueous phase, and have completed the present invention. [0017] Korean Registered Patent Publication No. 10-1773531 The problem to be solved
[0018] The objective of the present invention is to provide a calcined type powder cosmetic composition in which drop stability, powder scattering, adhesion, and color development are all improved. means of solving the problem
[0020] In order to achieve the above objective,
[0021] The present invention comprises an aqueous phase including a first thickening agent, a second thickening agent, and purified water; and
[0022] A calcined type powder cosmetic composition comprising a powder portion including a powder pigment;
[0023] The first thickening agent comprises one or more selected from the group consisting of sodium acrylate / sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer, isohexadecane, polysorbate 80, and sorbitan oleate, and
[0024] The above second thickener provides a calcined type powder cosmetic composition comprising magnesium aluminum silicate.
[0026] In the cosmetic composition according to the present invention, the aqueous phase may contain a first thickening agent and a second thickening agent in a weight ratio of 0.1-1:1-3. If the weight ratio deviates from the above, there may be a problem in failing to pass four types of tests (drop stability, powder scattering, adhesion, and color development) simultaneously.
[0027] As one embodiment, the first thickener and the second thickener may be included in the aqueous phase in a weight ratio of 1:1-30, 1:2-20, 1:3-20, or 1:5-15.
[0028] The above aqueous portion and powder portion may be included in a weight ratio of 1:1-5, preferably in a weight ratio of 1:1.5-2.5, more preferably in a weight ratio of 1:1.8-2.2, and even more preferably in a weight ratio of 1:1.9-2.1.
[0029] Among the first thickeners above, the sodium acrylate / sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer may be included in an amount of 30-50% by weight, preferably 35-45% by weight, and more preferably 37-38% by weight, based on the total weight of the first thickener.
[0030] Among the first thickeners, the isohexadecane may be included in an amount of 10-40% by weight, preferably 15-35% by weight, and more preferably 22-23% by weight, based on the total weight of the first thickener.
[0031] Among the first thickeners, the polysorbate 80 may be included in an amount of 3-15% by weight, preferably 5-10% by weight, and more preferably 7-8% by weight based on the total weight of the first thickener.
[0032] Among the first thickeners, the sorbitan oleate may be included in an amount of 1-5 weight%, preferably 2-4 weight%, and more preferably 2-3 weight% based on the total weight of the first thickener.
[0033] In one embodiment, the first thickening agent may comprise 30-50 wt% sodium acrylate / sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer, 10-40 wt% isohexadecane, 3-15 wt% polysorbate 80, 1-5 wt% sorbitan oleate, and purified water. Preferably, it may comprise 35-45 wt% sodium acrylate / sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer, 15-35 wt% isohexadecane, 5-10 wt% polysorbate 80, 2-4 wt% sorbitan oleate, and purified water. More preferably, it may comprise 37-38 wt% sodium acrylate / sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate copolymer, 22-23 wt% isohexadecane, 7-8 wt% polysorbate 80, 2-3 wt% sorbitan oleate, and purified water.
[0035] The above aqueous phase may contain 0.1 to 3 weight percent of a first thickening agent. If the first thickening agent exceeds 3 weight percent, there may be a problem of severe gelling of the cosmetic composition, and if it is less than 0.1 weight percent, there may be a problem of failing to pass four types of tests (drop stability, dust scattering, adhesion, and color development) simultaneously.
[0036] The above aqueous phase may contain 1-10 weight% of a second thickening agent. If the second thickening agent exceeds 10 weight%, there may be a problem of severe gelling of the cosmetic composition, and if it is less than 1 weight%, there may be a problem of failing to pass four types of tests (drop stability, dusting, adhesion, and color development) simultaneously.
[0038] The above aqueous phase may additionally include a moisturizer. Examples of the moisturizer may include glycerin, 1,3-butylene glycol, propylene glycol, methylpropanediol, squalene, etc., used alone or in a mixture of two or more.
[0040] As one embodiment, the moisturizer may be included in the aqueous phase at 0.1 to 20 weight%, preferably 1 to 10 weight%. If the moisturizer exceeds 20 weight%, there may be a problem where the formulation is not completely dried and remains in a semi-solid state, which limits its use and manufacture, and if it is less than 0.1 weight%, there may be a problem where the moisturizing effect does not appear.
[0042] As one embodiment, the aqueous phase may comprise 0.1-1 weight% of a first thickening agent, 1-3 weight% of a second thickening agent, 0.1-20 weight% of a humectant, and purified water.
[0044] In the cosmetic composition according to the present invention, the powder portion may additionally include an oil phase binder.
[0045] The above powder portion may comprise 70-90% by weight of powder pigment and 10-30% by weight of oil-phase binder, and preferably may comprise 75-85% by weight of powder pigment and 15-25% by weight of oil-phase binder. If the oil-phase binder is included in an amount of less than 10% by weight, there may be a problem with excessive dusting of the formulation and reduced drop stability, and if it is included in an amount exceeding 30% by weight, there may be a problem with extremely reduced spreadability due to caking.
[0047] In the above powder part, the powder pigment may be mica, synthetic mica, silica, polypropylene, dimethicone / vinyl dimethicone crosspolymer, titanium dioxide, talc, zinc oxide, iron oxide, sericite, nylon-12, polymethyl metacrosspolymer, organic spherical powder, boron nitride, alumina, etc., but is not limited thereto.
[0049] The above oil-phase binder may use diisostearyl maleate, dimethicone, phenyl trimethicone, diglyceryl triisostearate, diphenylsiloxyphenyl trimethicone, octyldodecanol, hydrogenated polyisobutene, dipentaerythrityl hexahydroxystearate / hexastearate / hexarosinate, but is not limited thereto.
[0051] The cosmetic composition according to the present invention may further include additives such as plate-shaped powder, spherical powder, pigment, non-polar oil, highly polar oil, fatty acid metal salt powder, volatile or non-volatile solvent, dispersant, fragrance, and preservative.
[0053] The cosmetic composition according to the present invention may be prepared in the form of a two-way cake, powder pact, eyeshadow, eyebrow, blush, highlighter, concealer, etc., but is not limited thereto. Effects of the invention

[0076] <Comparative Example 1>
[0077] A calcined type powder cosmetic of Comparative Example 1 was prepared by carrying out the same procedure except that "hydroxyethyl acrylate / sodium acryloyldimethyl taurate" was used instead of the first thickening agent of Example 1-1 above.
[0079] <Comparative Example 2>
[0080] A calcined type powder cosmetic of Comparative Example 2 was prepared by carrying out the same procedure except that "sodium polyacryloyldimethyltaurate" was used instead of the first thickening agent of Example 1-1 above.
[0082] <Experimental Example 1> Drop Stability and Sensory Evaluation According to Content Ratio of First Thickener and Second Thickener
[0083] Drop stability and sensory evaluation according to the content ratio of the first and second thickeners included in the aqueous phase were measured by the following method.
[0085] Drop stability evaluation
[0086] After attaching a calcined type powder cosmetic sample to a container, the number of times breakage began when dropped from a height of 50 cm in front was measured.
[0088] Powderiness (5-point scale sensory evaluation)
[0089] When the formulation was used with an applicator such as a brush or puff, the degree of the formulation flying off the plate was measured visually.
[0091] Adhesion (5-point scale sensory evaluation)
[0092] The degree to which the formulation settles on the skin without scattering was measured visually when applied using applicators such as brushes and puffs, or by hand.
[0094] Color development (5-point scale sensory evaluation)
[0095] The degree of color expression of the formulation was visually measured when the formulation was applied to the skin the same number of times using applicators such as brushes and puffs, and by hand.
[0097] From the perspective of marketability, the 'pass criteria' was determined as 'passing' when all four types of the following experimental results were simultaneously satisfied.
[0098] Drop stability 4 or more drops <Number of drops, higher indicates better drop stability>
[0099] Dustiness 2 or less <5-point scale, lower indicates no dustiness>
[0100] Adhesion 4 or higher <5-point scale, higher indicates better adhesion>
[0101] Color intensity 4 or higher <5-point scale, higher indicates better color intensity>
[0103]
[0105] As shown in Table 5, the samples that passed the passing criteria were identified as Samples 1-1 to 1-3 containing the first thickener and the second thickener in a weight ratio of 0.2:1-3, and Samples 2-1 to 2-3 containing the first thickener and the second thickener in a weight ratio of 0.1-1:2, and it was confirmed that the samples containing the first thickener and the second thickener in a weight ratio of 0.1-1:1-3 simultaneously satisfied all passing criteria (drop stability, dust dispersion, adhesion, and color development).
[0107] <Experimental Example 2> Drop Stability and Sensory Evaluation According to Change in Composition of First Thickening Agent
[0108] Drop stability and sensory evaluation were measured by changing the composition of the first thickening agent included in the aqueous phase.
[0109] Examples 1-1 and Comparative Examples 1 and 2 of Table 6 below were prepared with the same powder portion (Table 3) and only the composition of the first thickening agent in the aqueous portion (Table 1) was different (see Comparative Examples 1 and 2).
[0111]
[0113] As shown in Table 6, all three samples were found to meet the passing criteria for drop stability, but in the case of Comparative Examples 1 and 2, it was confirmed that they were not marketable due to excessive dust scattering.
[0115] The present invention has been described above with reference to its preferred embodiments. Those skilled in the art will understand that the present invention may be embodied in modified forms without departing from the essential characteristics of the invention. Therefore, the disclosed embodiments should be considered in an illustrative rather than a restrictive sense.
