Background Technology

[0003] Recently, as carbon energy is gradually depleting and environmental concerns are rising, the world, including the United States, Europe, Japan, and Korea, is focusing its attention on hybrid and electric vehicles.

[0004] Since such hybrid or electric vehicles use high voltage and high current compared to conventional vehicles, they require an electrical device to stably supply and distribute power supplied from the outside to the components inside the vehicle.

[0005] In addition, many components are being manufactured in modular form for the electronic control of vehicles, and the use of wires and communication lines connected by connectors to transmit power or electrical signals has increased rapidly.

[0006] Such a connector includes a housing made of insulating material and a terminal made of conductive material installed inside the housing. In this case, a terminal provided at the end of the wiring is inserted into the housing to connect the terminal and the wiring so that they can conduct electricity; however, in most cases, a worker directly holds the wiring and assembles the terminal provided at the end of the wiring into the housing.

[0007] However, when a worker inserts a terminal into a housing while holding the wiring directly, if the worker's force is not transmitted in the axial direction of the wiring, bending occurs in the wiring, which presents a problem where assembling the housing and wiring is very difficult.

[0008] Therefore, there is a need to improve this.

[0009] A related background technology is Korean Registered Patent Publication No. 10-183042 (Registered on January 16, 2018, Title: Automotive Connector). The problem to be solved

[0023] Hereinafter, an embodiment of a wiring insertion tool according to the present invention will be described with reference to the attached drawings. In this process, the thickness of the lines or the size of the components shown in the drawings may be exaggerated for clarity and convenience of explanation.

[0024] Furthermore, the terms described below are defined in consideration of their functions within the present invention, and these may vary depending on the intent or practice of the user or operator. Therefore, the definitions of these terms should be based on the content throughout this specification.

[0026] FIG. 1 is a perspective view illustrating a wiring insertion tool according to one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 2 is an operation diagram illustrating the operation state of a wiring insertion tool according to one embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 3 is a perspective view illustrating a wiring insertion tool according to another embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view illustrating a wiring insertion tool according to another embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 5 is an operation diagram illustrating the operation state of a wiring insertion tool according to another embodiment of the present invention.

[0028] As illustrated in FIGS. 1 to 5, a wiring insertion tool according to one embodiment of the present invention includes an operating body part (10), a handle part (20), and a straight insertion clamp part (30).

[0029] The operating body part (10) is hinge-connected with a pair arranged to cross each other.

[0030] This operating body part (10) serves to provide a space for installing the handle part (20) and the straight insertion clamp part (30), and at the same time, it serves to rotate so that the straight insertion clamp part (30) closes or opens according to the operation of the handle part (20).

[0031] At this time, the operating body part (10) is hinge-connected to each other and includes a cross hinge part (11) that supports the handle part (20) on one side and an inclined support part (12) that supports the straight insertion clamp part (30) by extending at an angle on the other side of the cross hinge part (11) so that the handle part (20) is positioned higher than the height of the straight insertion clamp part (30).

[0032] Accordingly, when a plurality of wirings (W) are assembled in the connector, the handle portion (20) can be prevented from interfering with the pre-assembled wirings (W) during the process of additionally assembling wirings (W) in the connector through the straight insertion clamp portion (30), thereby making it easy to operate the handle portion (20) and improving the convenience of the work.

[0033] And, the handle portion (20) is provided on one side of the operating body portion (10) to control the rotation of the operating body portion (10).

[0034] When the handle portion (20) is operated to widen the gap, it rotates the operating body portion (10) so that the gap of the straight insertion clamp portion (30) widens together, and when the gap is operated to close, it rotates the operating body portion (10) so that the straight insertion clamp portion (30) comes into contact with each other.

[0035] Of course, the handle part (20) is not specifically limited in shape and material and can be modified into various shapes and materials.

[0036] Meanwhile, the straight insertion clamp part (30) is provided on the other side of the operating body part (10) and grips a certain section of the wiring (W) in a straight line so that the terminal (T) provided at the end of the wiring (W) is inserted straight into the connector. Here, the straight insertion clamp part (30) is not particularly limited in shape and material and can be modified into various shapes and materials.

[0037] At this time, the straight insertion clamp part (30) may be provided with a plurality of anti-slip members (31) spaced apart along the length direction on mutually facing parts so as to prevent slipping when gripping the wiring (W).

[0038] That is, the anti-slip member (31) can improve the gripping force of the straight insertion clamp part (30) on the wiring (W) during the process of inserting the terminal (T) into the connector by applying frictional force to the wiring (W) while in contact with the circumferential surface of the wiring (W) when the straight insertion member (30) grips the wiring (W) in the axial direction.

[0039] In addition, the straight insertion clamp part (30) can prevent the wiring (W) from bending by the bending prevention part (40) during the process of inserting the terminal (T) into the connector while holding the wiring (W).

[0040] Specifically, the bending prevention part (40) includes a fixed shaft part (41) formed protruding from the straight insertion clamp part (30), and a hooking part (42) provided at the end of the fixed shaft part (41) and fitted onto the circumference of the wiring (W) so as to be caught on the terminal (T).

[0041] That is, when the straight insertion clamp part (30) grips the wiring (W) and the catch fitting part (42) is fitted onto the circumference of the wiring (W) so that it catches on the terminal (T), and the straight insertion clamp part (30) is moved toward the connector so that the terminal (T) is inserted into the connector, the catch fitting part (44) presses the terminal (T) to maintain the wiring (W) in a straight state.

[0042] Additionally, the straight insertion clamp part (30) can be elastically supported and connected to the inclined support part (12) by the elastic support connection part (50).

[0043] To this end, the elastic support connecting part (50) includes a slide groove part (51) formed by being recessed in the longitudinal direction in the straight insertion clamp part (30), a slide member (52) formed extending from the inclined support part (12) so as to be received in the slide groove part (51) so as to be slidably movable, an elastic member (53) that is received in the slide groove part (51) and elastically supports the slide member (52), and a detachment prevention guide part (54) that guides the slide member (52) so as not to be detached from the slide groove part (51) by the elastic force of the elastic member (53).

[0044] At this time, the anti-detachment guide (54) includes an anti-detachment projection (54a) formed protruding from the slide groove (51) and a movement limiting projection (54b) formed protruding from the periphery of the slide member (52) so as to be caught on the anti-detachment projection (54a).

[0045] That is, when the slide member (52) is inserted into the slide groove (51) and compresses the elastic member (53), and moves in a direction protruding from the slide groove (51) by the restoring force of the elastic member (53), the movement of the slide member (52) is restricted at the moment the movement limiting projection (54b) catches on the anti-detachment projection (54a), thereby preventing it from detaching from the slide groove (51).

[0046] Accordingly, even if the straight insertion clamp part (30) moves toward the connector when the terminal (T) is inserted into the connector, only the operating body part (10) and the handle part (20) move toward the connector, so the straight insertion clamp part (30) can maintain the position of the wiring (W) without changing its position, thus preventing the wiring (W) from bending.

[0048] Although the present invention has been described with reference to the embodiments illustrated in the drawings, this is merely illustrative, and those skilled in the art will understand that various modifications and equivalent alternative embodiments are possible therefrom.

[0049] Therefore, the true technical scope of protection of the present invention should be determined by the patent claims. Explanation of the symbols
