Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a lockable fluid flow rate control device, and more specifically, to a fluid flow rate control device including a locking structure that can prevent arbitrary manipulation of the fluid flow rate of the fluid flow rate control device. Background Technology
[0002] Unless otherwise indicated in this specification, the contents described in this section are not prior art for the claims of this application, and are not to be recognized as prior art simply because they are included in this section.
[0004] Generally, when administering fluids such as painkillers or nutritional supplements directly into the vein using an infusion set, a flow regulator is used to ensure a precise amount of fluid is injected. While the flow regulator has the advantage of conveniently controlling the volume of fluid injected through partial rotation, it has the disadvantage of potentially leading to excessive drug abuse in the patient or a high risk of malfunction caused by unauthorized personnel.
[0005] Therefore, there was a need for a fluid flow control device having a locking mechanism that allows rotational driving to be enabled only by a specific method, while maintaining the convenience of flow control through rotational driving when using the flow control device, and restricting the control function of the flow control device according to the environment. [0020] Hereinafter, the structure, operation, and effects of the present invention according to a preferred embodiment will be examined with reference to the attached drawings. For reference, in the drawings below, each component is omitted or schematically illustrated for convenience and clarity, and the size of each component does not reflect its actual size. Furthermore, throughout the specification, the same reference numerals refer to the same components, and reference numerals for the same components in individual drawings are to be omitted.
[0022] A fluid flow rate control device according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first body (100) formed to be rotatable with a predetermined diameter and having a first connecting portion (110) through which fluid can be introduced or discharged; a second body (200) formed to be in contact with one end of the first body (100) and configured to rotate relative to the first body (100) to control the flow rate, and having a second connecting portion (210) through which fluid can be introduced or discharged; and a cover (300) formed to surround a part of the first body (100) and a part of the second body (200) and configured to be slidable toward the first body (100) or the second body (200).
[0023] The first body (100) and the second body (200) may be formed in a cylindrical shape having a predetermined diameter, and the second body (200) may be in contact with one end of the first body (100) to allow relative rotation. Here, a first connecting part (110) through which fluid can be introduced or discharged is formed in the first body (100), and a second connecting part (210) through which fluid can be introduced or discharged may be formed toward the second body (200), more precisely, toward the opposite side of the first connecting part (110).
[0024] Accordingly, when fluid flows into the first connecting part (110) or the second connecting part (210), the amount of fluid discharged can be controlled by the relative rotation of the first body (100) and the second body (200), and the fluid is discharged at a constant speed in the controlled amount through the remaining connecting part.
[0025] Here, a cover (300) may be formed to wrap around a part of the first body (100) and a part of the second body (200) at a location where the first body (100) and the second body (200) come into contact.
[0027] The cover (300) can move to either the first body (100) or the second body (200) to restrict the rotation of the first body (100) or the second body (200) to which the cover (300) has moved.
[0028] When the cover (300) moves in a sliding manner toward the first body (100) or the second body (200) from its position, the inner surface of the cover (300) comes into contact with the outer surface of the first body (100) or the second body (200), thereby restricting the rotation of the first body (100) or the second body (200). As an example thereof, the first body (100) or the second body (200) may have a shape in which the diameter gradually increases as it moves toward both sides at the position where they come into contact with each other, and by restricting the rotation of the body through the increased diameter while closely contacting the inner surface of the cover (300), unintended flow rate control can be prevented.
[0030] According to a more specific embodiment, one or more first and second vertical grooves (121, 221) or first and second vertical protrusions (123, 223) are formed along the outer circumference of the first body (100) and the second body (200), and the cover (300) rotates together with the first body (100) by engaging with the first vertical groove (121) or the first vertical protrusion (123) of the first body (100), and the cover (300) slides toward the second body (200) and engages with the second vertical groove (221) or the second vertical protrusion (223) of the second body (200), thereby restricting the rotation of the second body (200).
[0031] According to a preferred feature of the present invention, one or more third vertical protrusions (321) are formed along the inner circumference of the cover (300), wherein the third vertical protrusions (321) have a shape corresponding to the first vertical groove (123) or the second vertical groove (223), and the cover (300) slides into the second body (200) so that the third vertical protrusions (321) engage with the second vertical groove (223), thereby restricting the rotation of the second body (200).
[0032] The first vertical groove (121) or the first vertical projection (123) of the first body (100) and the second vertical groove (221) or the second vertical projection (223) of the second body (200) may be formed extending by a predetermined length adjacent to the position where the bodies come into contact with each other. Either of the vertical groove and the vertical projection may be formed alone, or the vertical groove and the vertical projection may intersect to form an uneven surface.
[0033] The cover (300) slides toward the first body (100) and the third vertical projection (321) formed on the inner circumference of the cover (300) is inserted into the first vertical groove (121) of the first body (100) and interlocks with it, so that the first body (100) can rotate together with the cover (300) by the rotation of the cover (300), and the second body (200) has no configuration that restricts rotation and can rotate relative to the first body (100).
[0034] Here, when the cover (300) slides toward the second body (200), the third vertical projection (321) is inserted into the second vertical groove (223) of the second body (200), and the second body (200) becomes unable to rotate arbitrarily, thereby limiting arbitrary rotation.
[0036] According to a preferred feature of the present invention, a movement limiting projection (330) is formed along the circumferential direction of the inner surface of the cover (300), and a movement limiting groove (130, 230) corresponding to the movement limiting projection (330) is formed along the circumferential direction of the outer surface of the first body (100) or the second body (200), so that the movement limiting projection (330) of the cover (300) can be inserted into the movement limiting groove (130, 230) of the first body (100) or the second body (200) to limit sliding movement.
[0037] The above movement limiting projection (330) may have a shape corresponding to the movement limiting groove (130, 230), and as the cover (300) slides, the movement limiting projection (330) catches on the movement limiting groove (130, 230) to restrict the sliding movement.
[0038] With the cover (300) including such a configuration, there is an effect of preventing the user from arbitrarily manipulating the flow rate by moving the cover (300) and rotating the body.
[0040] According to another embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus may include a third body (400) which is rotatably formed with a predetermined diameter, has one end open and the other end closed, and has a third connecting part (410) formed through which fluid can be introduced or discharged through the closed end; a fourth body (500) which is inserted into the open end of the third body (400) and has a fourth connecting part (510) formed through which fluid can be introduced or discharged, and is configured to rotate relative to the third body (400) to control the flow rate; and a gripping part (600) which is formed protruding from one surface of the fourth body (500) in a direction toward the open end of the third body (400) and grips to rotate the fourth body (500).
[0041] The third body (400) may be formed in a cylindrical shape with a predetermined space formed inside and one end open, and the fourth body (500) may be formed in a cylindrical shape having a structure that allows relative rotation by being inserted into the internal space of the third body (400).
[0042] The above-mentioned third communication section (410) and fourth communication section (510) are each configured to allow fluid to flow in or out, and since this is identical to the aforementioned first communication section (110) or second communication section (210), further explanation is omitted.
[0043] When the fourth body (500) is inserted into the third body (400), the height of the fourth body (500) is formed to be lower than the height of the open end of the third body (400), thereby restricting it from being easily rotated.
[0044] Here, a gripping portion (600) may be formed protrudingly on one side of the fourth body (500) so that a user can grip it. It is preferable that the gripping portion (600) be formed in a shape that allows the user to easily grip and rotate it with an index finger, and as an embodiment thereof, it may have a shape that extends radially from a central axis and has a predetermined thickness and height.
[0045] In particular, the height of the gripping portion (600) formed on one side of the fourth body (500) is formed lower than the open end of the third body (400), thereby preventing a general user who is unaware of the structure from rotating the body to control the flow rate.
[0047] Additionally, the fourth body (500) may include an insertion groove (530) formed through the interior from one side of the fourth body (500) and an insertion pin (700) formed to be insertable into the insertion groove (530), and the fourth body (500) may be configured to be rotatable only when the insertion pin (700) is inserted into the insertion groove (530).
[0048] The structure of the insertion groove (530) and the insertion pin (700) inserted therein is configured for the purpose of making it easier to rotate the fourth body (500) in relation to the third body (400) and the fourth body (500). More specifically, an insertion groove (530) is formed penetrating inward from one side of the fourth body (500) or the central axis of one side, and an insertion pin (700) having a corresponding shape that can be inserted into the insertion groove (530) is formed. The fourth body (500) is generally configured to have a structure in which rotation is restricted so that rotation is not possible, but when the insertion pin (700) is inserted into the insertion groove (530) of the fourth body (500), the rotation restriction of the fourth body (500) is released, thereby allowing the fourth body (500) to rotate relative to control the fluid flow rate.
[0049] Here, a handle shape of a predetermined size may be additionally formed at the end of the insertion pin (700) so that the user can more easily grip and rotate it.
[0050] In addition, a scale indicator (520) is formed protrudingly on one side of the fourth body (500), so that the fourth body (500) can set a desired flow rate while rotating relative to it.
[0052] Although preferred embodiments of the present invention have been described above with reference to the attached drawings, the embodiments described in this specification and the configurations illustrated in the drawings are merely the most preferred embodiments of the present invention and do not represent all technical concepts of the present invention. Therefore, it should be understood that various equivalents and modifications that can replace them may exist at the time of filing this application. Accordingly, the embodiments described above should be understood as illustrative in all respects and not restrictive, and the scope of the present invention is defined by the claims set forth below rather than by the detailed description. Furthermore, all modifications or variations derived from the meaning and scope of the claims and equivalent concepts should be interpreted as being included within the scope of the present invention.
