[0042] The size of the main body (105) may be such that a user can hold or move it with one hand, it may be implemented in a super-compact size for easy portability, or it may be implemented in a size that can be mounted on a table or attached to a lighting device. The material of the main body (105) may be implemented in a matte metal or synthetic resin so that the user's fingerprints or dust do not adhere to it, or, the exterior of the main body (105) may be made of a smooth glossy finish.

[0043] A friction area may be formed in a portion of the exterior of the main body (105) so that a user can grasp and move it. Alternatively, the main body (105) may be provided with a folded gripping part or support (108, see FIG. 3) that a user can grasp in at least a portion of the area.

[0046] A projection lens (110) is formed on one surface of the main body (105) to project light passing through a lens array to the outside of the main body (105). The projection lens (110) may be a convex lens or a condensing lens, and in one embodiment, the projection lens (110) may adjust the focus by adjusting the positions of a plurality of sub-lenses.

[0047] The head (103) is provided to be coupled to one side of the main body (105) to support and protect the projection lens (110). The head (103) can be coupled to the main body (105) so as to be swivelable within a preset angle range relative to one side of the main body (105).

[0048] The head (103) can be swiveled automatically or manually by a user or processor to freely adjust the projection angle of the projection lens (110). Alternatively, although not shown in the drawing, the head (103) may be coupled to the main body (105) and may include a neck extending from the main body (105), so that the head (103) may be tilted or tilted to adjust the projection angle of the projection lens (110).

[0049] The electronic device (100) can project light or an image to a desired location by adjusting the direction of the head (103) and the emission angle of the projection lens (110) while the position and angle of the main body (105) are fixed. Additionally, the head (103) may include a handle that can be grasped after being rotated in a desired direction by the user.

[0050] A plurality of openings (120) may be formed on the outer surface of the main body (105). The audio output unit may include a speaker, and the speaker may be used for general purposes such as multimedia playback, recording playback, voice output, etc.

[0051] According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, a plurality of openings (120) can serve as exhaust ports for discharging air or heat inside the main body (105), and the electronic device (100) can discharge heat generated by the operation of the electronic device (100) to the outside through the plurality of openings (120).

[0052] The connector (130) can connect the electronic device (100) to an external device to transmit and receive electrical signals or receive power from an external source. According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, the connector (130) can be physically connected to an external device. In this case, the connector (130) may include an input / output interface and may communicate with the external device via wired or wireless means or receive power. For example, the connector (130) may include an HDMI connection terminal, a USB connection terminal, an SD card receiving slot, an audio connection terminal, or a power outlet, or it may include a Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or wireless charging connection module that is wirelessly connected to an external device.

[0053] Additionally, the connector (130) may have a socket structure connected to an external lighting device and may receive power by being connected to a socket receiving groove of the external lighting device. The size and specifications of the socket structure connector (130) can be implemented in various ways considering the receiving structure of the external device that can be coupled. For example, according to the international standard E26, the diameter of the joint portion of the connector (130) may be implemented as 26 mm, in which case the electronic device (100) can be coupled to an external lighting device such as a stand by replacing a conventionally used light bulb. Meanwhile, when coupled to a socket located on the existing ceiling, the electronic device (100) has a structure that projects from top to bottom, and if the electronic device (100) does not rotate due to the socket coupling, the screen also cannot rotate. Accordingly, even when power is supplied through a socket connection, the electronic device (100) can be rotated. The electronic device (100) is socket-connected to a stand on the ceiling, and the head (103) is swiveled on one side (105) of the main body (105) to adjust the projection angle so that the screen can be projected to a desired position or the screen can be rotated.

[0054] The connector (130) may include a coupling sensor, and the coupling sensor may sense whether the connector (130) and an external device are coupled, the coupling state, or the coupling target and transmit this to a processor, and the processor may control the operation of the electronic device (100) based on the received detection value.

[0055] The cover (107) can be attached to and detached from the main body (105) and can protect the connector (130) so that the connector (130) is not always exposed to the outside. The shape of the cover (107) may have a shape that is continuous with the main body (105) as shown in FIG. 1, or it may be implemented to correspond to the shape of the connector (130). The cover (107) can support an electronic device (100), and the electronic device (100) can be attached to the cover (107) and used by being attached to or mounted on an external stand.

[0056] In various embodiments of the electronic device (100), a battery may be provided inside the cover (107). The battery may include, for example, a non-rechargeable primary battery, a rechargeable secondary battery, or a fuel cell.

[0057] Although not illustrated in the drawings, the electronic device (100) may include a camera module, and the camera module may capture still images and video. According to one embodiment, the camera module may include one or more lenses, an image sensor, an image signal processor, or a flash.

[0058] Although not shown in the drawing, the electronic device (100) may include a protective case (not shown) to protect the electronic device (100) and to allow for easy transport, or may include a stand (not shown) that supports or fixes the main body (105), or a bracket (not shown) that can be attached to a wall or partition.

[0059] Additionally, the electronic device (100) can be connected to various external devices using a socket structure to provide various functions. In one embodiment, the electronic device (100) can be connected to an external camera device using a socket structure. The electronic device (100) can provide an image stored in the connected camera device or an image currently being captured using a projection unit (210). In another embodiment, the electronic device (100) can be connected to a battery module using a socket structure to receive power. Meanwhile, although the electronic device (100) can be connected to an external device using a socket structure, this is merely one embodiment, and it can be connected to an external device using another interface (e.g., USB, etc.). FIG. 2 is a block diagram illustrating the configuration of an electronic device according to one embodiment of the present disclosure. As illustrated in FIG. 2, the electronic device (100) may include a projection unit (210), a memory (220), a user interface (230), an input / output interface (240), an audio output unit (250), a power supply unit (260), and a processor (270). Meanwhile, the configuration illustrated in FIG. 2 is merely one embodiment, and some components may be omitted, and new components may be added.

[0060] The projection unit (210) is configured to project an image outward. According to one embodiment of the present disclosure, the projection unit (210) can be implemented using various projection methods (e.g., cathode-ray tube (CRT) method, liquid crystal display (LCD) method, digital light processing (DLP) method, laser method, etc.). For example, the CRT method is basically the same principle as a CRT monitor. The CRT method magnifies the image using a lens in front of the cathode-ray tube (CRT) to display an image on a screen. Depending on the number of cathode-ray tubes, it is divided into a single-tube type and a three-tube type, and in the case of the three-tube type, the red, green, and blue cathode-ray tubes can be implemented separately.

[0061] As another example, the LCD method displays an image by transmitting light from a light source through a liquid crystal. LCD methods are divided into single-panel and three-panel types. In the case of the three-panel type, light from a light source is separated into Red, Green, and Blue by a dichroic mirror (a mirror that reflects only specific colors of light and allows the rest to pass through), then passes through the liquid crystal, and finally converges back into one place.

[0062] As another example, the DLP method is a technique that displays images using a DMD (Digital Micromirror Device) chip. The projection section of the DLP method may include a light source, a color wheel, a DMD chip, and a projection lens. Light emitted from the light source can acquire color as it passes through a rotating color wheel. The light passing through the color wheel is input into the DMD chip. The DMD chip contains numerous micro-mirrors and reflects the light input into it. The projection lens performs the function of magnifying the light reflected from the DMD chip to the size of the image.

[0063] As another example, the laser method includes DPSS (Diode Pumped Solid State) lasers and galvanometers. Lasers that output various colors utilize a laser formed by installing three DPSS lasers for each RGB color and superimposing their optical axes using special mirrors. The galvanometer includes mirrors and high-output motors to move the mirrors at high speeds. For example, a galvanometer can rotate the mirror at a maximum speed of 40 KHz / sec. The galvanometer is mounted according to the scanning direction; since projectors generally perform planar scanning, the galvanometer can also be positioned along the x and y axes.

[0064] Meanwhile, the projection unit (210) may include various types of light sources, and the light source may be located inside the main body (105) to emit output light. For example, the projection unit (210) may include at least one light source among a lamp, an LED, and a laser.

[0065] The projection unit (210) can output images with a 4:3 aspect ratio, a 5:4 aspect ratio, or a 16:9 wide aspect ratio depending on the use of the electronic device (100) or the user's settings, and can output images with various resolutions such as WVGA (854*480), SVGA (800*600), XGA (1024*768), WXGA (1280*720), WXGA (1280*800), SXGA (1280*1024), UXGA (1600*1200), and Full HD (1920*1080) depending on the aspect ratio.

[0066] Meanwhile, the projection unit (210) can perform various functions to adjust the output image under the control of the processor (270). For example, the projection unit (210) can perform functions such as zoom, keystone, quick corner (4-corner) keystone, lens shift, etc.

[0067] Specifically, the projection unit (210) can enlarge or reduce the image depending on the distance from the screen (projection distance). That is, a zoom function can be performed depending on the distance from the screen. At this time, the zoom function may include a hardware method that adjusts the screen size by moving a lens and a software method that adjusts the screen size by cropping the image. Meanwhile, when the zoom function is performed, the focus of the image needs to be adjusted. For example, the focus adjustment method includes a manual focus method and an electric method. A manual focus method refers to a method of manually adjusting the focus, and an electric method refers to a method in which the projector automatically adjusts the focus using a motor built into it when the zoom function is performed. When performing the zoom function, the projection unit (210) may provide a digital zoom function through software and may provide an optical zoom function that performs the zoom function by moving the lens through a driving unit.

[0068] Additionally, the projection unit (210) can perform a keystone function. If the height is not correct for front projection, the screen may be distorted upward or downward. The keystone function refers to a function that corrects the distorted screen. For example, if distortion occurs in the left-right direction of the screen, it can be corrected using horizontal keystone, and if distortion occurs in the up-down direction, it can be corrected using vertical keystone. The quick corner (4-corner) keystone function is a function that corrects the screen when the central area of the screen is normal but the corner areas are unbalanced. The lens shift function is a function that moves the screen as is when the screen is off the screen.

[0069] Meanwhile, the projection unit (210) can automatically provide zoom / keystone / focus functions by analyzing the surrounding environment and projection environment without user input. Specifically, the projection unit (210) can automatically provide zoom / keystone / focus functions based on the distance between the electronic device (100) and the screen detected through sensors (depth camera, distance sensor, infrared sensor, illuminance sensor, etc.), information about the space where the electronic device (100) is currently located, and information about the amount of ambient light.

[0070] Additionally, the projection unit (210) can provide a lighting function using a light source. In particular, the projection unit (210) can provide a lighting function by outputting a light source using an LED. According to one embodiment, the projection unit (210) may include a single LED, and according to another embodiment, the electronic device may include a plurality of LEDs. Meanwhile, the projection unit (210) may output a light source using a surface-emitting LED according to an implementation example. Here, a surface-emitting LED may refer to an LED having a structure in which an optical sheet is placed on the upper side of the LED so that the light source is evenly distributed and output. Specifically, when a light source is output through the LED, the light source can be evenly distributed through the optical sheet, and the light source distributed through the optical sheet can be incident on the display panel.

[0071] Meanwhile, the projection unit (210) can provide a dimming function to the user to adjust the intensity of the light source. Specifically, when user input to adjust the intensity of the light source is received from the user through the user interface (240) (e.g., a touch display button or a dial), the projection unit (210) can control the LED to output the intensity of the light source corresponding to the received user input.

[0072] Additionally, the projection unit (210) can provide a dimming function based on content analyzed by the processor (270) without user input. Specifically, the projection unit (210) can control an LED to output the intensity of a light source based on information about the currently provided content (e.g., content type, content brightness, etc.).

[0073] Meanwhile, the projection unit (210) can control the color temperature under the control of the processor (270). Here, the processor (270) can control the color temperature based on the content. Specifically, when the content is identified as being output, the processor (270) can obtain frame-by-frame color information of the content determined to be output. Then, the processor (270) can control the color temperature based on the obtained frame-by-frame color information. Here, the processor (270) can obtain at least one main color of the frame based on the frame-by-frame color information. Then, the processor (270) can adjust the color temperature based on at least one obtained main color. For example, the color temperature that the processor (270) can adjust can be classified as a warm type or a cold type. Here, it is assumed that the frame to be output (hereinafter output frame) contains a scene where a fire has occurred. The processor (270) can identify (or obtain) that the main color is red based on the color information contained in the current output frame. And, the processor (270) can identify a color temperature corresponding to the identified primary color (red). Here, the color temperature corresponding to red may be a warm type. Meanwhile, the processor (270) may use an artificial intelligence model to obtain color information of the frame or the primary color. According to one embodiment, the artificial intelligence model may be stored in an electronic device (100) (e.g., memory (230)). According to another embodiment, the artificial intelligence model may be stored in an external server capable of communicating with the electronic device (100).

[0074] Meanwhile, the electronic device (100) can control lighting functions by linking with an external device. Specifically, the electronic device (100) can receive lighting information from an external device. Here, the lighting information may include at least one of brightness information or color temperature information set by the external device. Here, the external device may refer to a device connected to the same network as the electronic device (100) (e.g., an IoT device included in the same home / company network) or a device that is not on the same network as the electronic device (100) but can communicate with the electronic device (e.g., a remote control server). For example, assume that an external lighting device (IoT device) included in the same network as the electronic device (100) is outputting red light at a brightness of 50. The external lighting device (IoT device) can transmit lighting information (e.g., information indicating that it is outputting red light at a brightness of 50) to the electronic device (100) directly or indirectly. Here, the electronic device (100) can control the output of the light source based on the lighting information received from the external lighting device. For example, if the lighting information received from an external lighting device includes information that outputs red light at a brightness of 50, the electronic device (100) can output red light at a brightness of 50.

[0075] Meanwhile, the electronic device (100) can control the lighting function based on biometric information. Specifically, the processor (270) can acquire the user's biometric information. Here, the biometric information may include at least one of the user's body temperature, heart rate, blood pressure, respiration, and electrocardiogram. As another example, the processor (270) can receive biometric information from an external device through an input / output interface (240). Here, the external device may refer to the user's portable communication device (e.g., a smartphone or a wearable device). The processor (270) can acquire the user's biometric information from the external device and control the output of the light source based on the acquired biometric information. Meanwhile, according to an embodiment, the electronic device can identify whether the user is sleeping, and if the user is identified as sleeping (or preparing to sleep), the processor (270) can control the output of the light source based on the user's biometric information.

[0076] The memory (220) may store at least one instruction regarding the electronic device (100). Additionally, the memory (220) may store an operating system (O / S) for operating the electronic device (100). Furthermore, the memory (220) may store various software programs or applications for operating the electronic device (100) according to various embodiments of the present disclosure. Additionally, the memory (220) may include semiconductor memory such as flash memory or magnetic storage media such as a hard disk.

[0077] Specifically, various software modules for operating an electronic device (100) according to various embodiments of the present disclosure may be stored in the memory (220), and the processor (270) may control the operation of the electronic device (100) by executing the various software modules stored in the memory (220). That is, the memory (220) is accessed by the processor (270), and reading / writing / modifying / deleting / updating of data by the processor (270) may be performed.

[0078] Meanwhile, in the present disclosure, the term memory (220) may be used to include memory (220), ROM (not shown), RAM (not shown) within the processor (270), or a memory card (not shown) (e.g., micro SD card, memory stick) mounted in the electronic device (100).

[0079] The user interface (230) may include various types of input devices. For example, the user interface (230) may include a physical button. In this case, the physical button may include a function key, a directional key (e.g., a four-way key), or a dial button. According to one embodiment, the physical button may be implemented as a plurality of keys. According to another embodiment, the physical button may be implemented as a single key. Here, when the physical button is implemented as a single key, the electronic device (100) may receive user input in which a single key is pressed for a threshold time or longer. When user input in which a single key is pressed for a threshold time or longer is received, the processor (270) may perform a function corresponding to the user input. For example, the processor (270) may provide a lighting function based on the user input.

[0080] Additionally, the user interface (230) can receive user input using a non-contact method. Here, the touch sensor can identify user input even when the user does not touch the touch sensor. Meanwhile, according to another embodiment, the touch sensor can identify user input when the user touches the touch sensor.

[0082] Meanwhile, the electronic device (100) may receive user input in various ways other than the user interface described above. In one embodiment, the electronic device (100) may receive user input through an external remote control device. Here, the external remote control device may be a remote control device corresponding to the electronic device (100) (e.g., a control device dedicated to the electronic device) or a user's portable communication device (e.g., a smartphone or a wearable device). Here, the user's portable communication device may store an application for controlling the electronic device. The portable communication device may acquire user input through the stored application and transmit the acquired user input to the electronic device (100). The electronic device (100) may receive user input from the portable communication device and perform an operation corresponding to the user's control command.

[0083] Meanwhile, the electronic device (100) can receive user input using voice recognition. According to one embodiment, the electronic device (100) can receive user voice through a microphone included in the electronic device. According to another embodiment, the electronic device (100) can receive user voice from a microphone or an external device. Specifically, the external device can acquire user voice through the microphone of the external device and transmit the acquired user voice to the electronic device (100). The user voice transmitted from the external device may be audio data or digital data converted from audio data (e.g., audio data converted into the frequency domain). Here, the electronic device (100) can perform an operation corresponding to the received user voice. Specifically, the electronic device (100) can receive audio data corresponding to the user voice through the microphone. And, the electronic device (100) can convert the received audio data into digital data. Additionally, the electronic device (100) can convert the converted digital data into text data using a Speech To Text (STT) function. According to one embodiment, the Speech To Text (STT) function may be performed directly by the electronic device (100), and according to another embodiment, the Speech To Text (STT) function may be performed by an external server. The electronic device (100) can transmit the digital data to an external server. The external server can convert the digital data into text data and obtain control command data based on the converted text. The external server can transmit the control command data (which may also include text data) to the electronic device (100). The electronic device (100) can perform an operation corresponding to the user's voice based on the obtained control command data.

[0084] Meanwhile, the electronic device (100) is an assistant (or artificial intelligence assistant, e.g., Bixby). TMVoice recognition functions can be provided using (etc.), but this is merely one embodiment, and voice recognition functions can be provided through a plurality of assistances. At this time, the electronic device (100) can provide voice recognition functions by selecting one of the plurality of assistances based on a trigger word corresponding to the assistance or a specific key existing on the remote control.

[0085] Meanwhile, the electronic device (100) can receive user input using screen interaction. Screen interaction refers to a function in which the electronic device identifies whether a predetermined event occurs through an image projected onto a screen (or projection surface) and obtains user input based on the predetermined event. Here, the predetermined event may refer to an event in which a predetermined object is identified at a specific location (e.g., a location where a UI for receiving user input is projected). Here, the predetermined object may include at least one of a part of the user's body (e.g., a finger), a pointer, or a laser pointer. When the electronic device (100) identifies a predetermined object at a location corresponding to the projected UI, it may identify that user input for selecting the projected UI has been received. For example, the electronic device (100) may project a guide image to display the UI on the screen. And, the electronic device (100) may identify whether the user selects the projected UI. Specifically, the electronic device (100) can identify that a user has selected the projected UI when a predetermined event is identified at the location of the projected UI. Here, the projected UI may include at least one item. Here, the electronic device (100) can perform spatial analysis to identify whether the predetermined event is at the location of the projected UI. Here, the electronic device (100) can perform spatial analysis through a component of the sensor unit (280), for example, an image sensor, an infrared sensor, a depth camera, a distance sensor, etc. By performing spatial analysis, the electronic device (100) can identify whether the predetermined event occurs at a specific location (the location where the UI is projected). And, if it is identified that the predetermined event occurs at a specific location (the location where the UI is projected), the electronic device (100) can identify that user input for selecting the UI corresponding to the specific location has been received.

The sensor unit (280) may be equipped with various types of sensors and may be implemented as a switch sensor, an image sensor, or an infrared sensor depending on the operating method. The sensor unit (280) may include at least one of the first to third sensors (182, 184, 189, 194) that sense whether the cover (150) is coupled and / or the coupled state, and their operation is described in detail below in FIG. 11a.

[0097] The heat dissipation fan (290) can prevent overheating caused by the operation of components inside the main body (105), such as the light emission of a light source, by the operation of the electronic device (100), and can regulate the temperature inside the main body (105). Additionally, due to the increase in temperature inside the main body (105), a difference in temperature and humidity may occur between the inside and the outside, condensation may form, the lifespan of internal components may decrease, and the driving efficiency may drop. Therefore, the processor (270) can drive the heat dissipation fan (290) based on the operation of the electronic device (100) and / or the sensing result of the sensor unit (280) to regulate the temperature and humidity inside the main body (105).

[0098] Meanwhile, an electronic device (100) according to one embodiment of the present disclosure can provide various smart functions.

[0099] Specifically, the electronic device (100) is connected to a mobile terminal device for controlling the electronic device (100), and the screen output from the electronic device (100) can be controlled through user input received from the mobile terminal device. For example, the mobile terminal device may be implemented as a smartphone including a touch display, and the electronic device (100) receives and outputs screen data provided by the mobile terminal device from the mobile terminal device, and the screen output from the electronic device (100) can be controlled according to user input received from the mobile terminal device.

[0100] The electronic device (100) can connect with a mobile terminal device through various communication methods such as Miracast, Airplay, wireless DEX, and Remote PC, and share content or music provided by the mobile terminal device.

[0101] Additionally, the mobile terminal device and the electronic device (100) can be connected in various connection methods. In one embodiment, the mobile terminal device may search for the electronic device (100) to perform a wireless connection, or the electronic device (100) may search for the mobile terminal device to perform a wireless connection. Additionally, the electronic device (100) can output content provided by the mobile terminal device.

[0102] In one embodiment, when a specific content or music is being output from a mobile terminal device, the mobile terminal device is placed near an electronic device, and a preset gesture is detected through the display of the mobile terminal device (e.g., motion tap view), the electronic device (100) can output the content or music being output from the mobile terminal device.

[0107] FIG. 3 is a perspective view illustrating the appearance of an electronic device (100) according to other embodiments of the present disclosure. Referring to FIG. 3, the electronic device (100) may include a support (or a "handle") (108).

[0108] The support (108) of various embodiments may be a handle or a ring provided for a user to grasp or move the electronic device (100), or the support (108) may be a stand that supports the main body (105) when the main body (105) is lying on its side.

[0109] As shown in FIG. 3, the support member (108) may be connected to the outer surface of the main body (105) by a hinge structure so as to be attached or detached, and may be selectively detached and fixed from the outer surface of the main body (105) as needed by the user. The number, shape, or arrangement structure of the support member (108) may be implemented in various ways without restriction. Although not shown in the drawings, the support member (108) may be embedded inside the main body (105) so that the user can take it out and use it as needed, or the support member (108) may be implemented as a separate accessory so that it can be attached to and detached from the electronic device (100).

[0110] The support member (108) may include a first support surface (108-1) and a second support surface (108-2). The first support surface (108-1) may be a surface facing the outside direction of the main body (105) when the support member (108) is separated from the outer surface of the main body (105), and the second support surface (108-2) may be a surface facing the inside direction of the main body (105) when the support member (108) is separated from the outer surface of the main body (105).

[0111] The first support surface (108-1) extends from the bottom of the main body (105) to the top of the main body (105) and can be moved away from the main body (105), and the first support surface (108-1) may have a flat or uniformly curved shape. The first support surface (108-1) can support the main body (105) when the electronic device (100) is mounted so that the outer surface of the main body (105) touches the bottom surface, that is, when the projection lens (110) is positioned to face the front direction. In an embodiment including two or more supports (108), the projection angle of the head (103) and the projection lens (100) can be adjusted by adjusting the spacing between the two supports (108) or the angle at which the hinges are open.

[0112] The second support surface (108-2) is a surface that comes into contact with the user or the external mounting structure when the support (108) is supported by the user or the external mounting structure, and may have a shape corresponding to the grip structure of the user's hand or the external mounting structure so as not to slip when supporting or moving the electronic device (100). The user can fix the head (103) by orienting the projection lens (110) toward the front, hold the support (108), move the electronic device (100), and use the electronic device (100) like a flashlight.

[0113] The support groove (104) is provided in the main body (105) and is a groove structure capable of accommodating the support (108) when it is not in use. As shown in FIG. 3, it can be implemented as a groove structure corresponding to the shape of the support (108) on the outer surface of the main body (105). Through the support groove (104), the support (108) can be stored on the outer surface of the main body (105) when it is not in use, and the outer surface of the main body (105) can be kept smooth.

[0114] Alternatively, the structure may have a support member (108) stored inside the main body (105) and a support member (108) that is pulled out of the main body (105) when the support member (108) is needed. In this case, the support member groove (104) may be structured to be inserted into the main body (105) to accommodate the support member (108), and may include a second support surface (108-2) that is in close contact with the outer surface of the main body (105) or a door (not shown) that opens and closes a separate support member groove (104).

[0115] Although not shown in the drawing, the electronic device (100) may include various types of accessories that help with the use or storage of the electronic device (100). For example, the electronic device (100) may include a protective case (not shown) to protect the electronic device (100) and to allow for easy transport, or may include a tripod (not shown) to support or fix the main body (105) or a bracket (not shown) that is attached to the outer surface to fix the electronic device (100).

[0116] FIG. 4 is a perspective view illustrating the appearance of an electronic device (100) according to another embodiment of the present disclosure. Referring to FIG. 4, the electronic device (100) may include a support (or a "handle") (108).

[0117] The support (108) of various embodiments may be a handle or a ring provided for a user to grasp or move the electronic device (100), or the support (108) may be a stand that supports the main body (105) so that it can be directed at any angle while the main body (105) is lying on its side.

[0118] Specifically, the support member (108) can be connected to the main body (105) at a predetermined point (e.g., 2 / 3 to 3 / 4 point) of the main body (105), as shown in FIG. 4. When the support member (108) is rotated toward the main body, it can support the main body (105) so that it can face at any angle while lying on its side.

[0119] Meanwhile, the support (108) shown in FIGS. 3 and FIGS. 4 is merely one embodiment, and it goes without saying that the electronic device (100) can be equipped with a support in various positions or shapes.

[0120] FIG. 5 is an enlarged perspective view of a part of an electronic device (100) of one embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0121] Referring to FIG. 5, the electronic device (100) of the present disclosure may include a cover (150).

[0122] The cover (150) is positioned to be selectively close to or separated from the projection lens (110) and can open or close the projection lens (110). Specifically, the cover (150) may be positioned so that it is close to the projection lens (110) and at least a portion of it is in contact or separated, or the cover (150) may be positioned so that it is separated from the projection lens (110) within a preset spacing range and is either further away from or closer to the projection lens (110). The cover (150) may be implemented in the form of a lid or a cap.

[0123] The cover (150) can be optionally coupled to the main body (105) or the case (170) of the main body (105). The cover (150) can be coupled to the main body (105) and come into close proximity to the projection lens (110), and the cover (150) can be separated from the main body (105) and become spaced apart from the projection lens (110).

[0124] The method of combining the cover (150) and the main body (150) can be implemented in various ways. The cover (150) may include a plurality of protrusions (140) formed on a surface facing the projection lens (110), for example, on the lower surface of the diffusion layer (155), and the main body (105) may include a plurality of protrusion grooves (145) formed to allow each of the plurality of protrusions (140) to be inserted. Additionally, the plurality of protrusions (140) and the plurality of protrusion grooves (145) may be implemented as magnetic materials that exert mutual attractive force.

[0125] When the cover (150) is closely coupled to the main body (105), or when the cover (150) and the projection lens (110) are positioned in close proximity, the cover (150) can receive and diffuse the output light emitted from the projection lens (110) and emit it outside the cover (150). There are no restrictions on the diffusion and emission directions of the cover (150), and the emitted light can be diffused omnidirectionally across the entire area, or the emitted light can be guided and diffused in a preset direction.

[0126] In one embodiment, the cover (150) is formed with a single layer structure of a diffusion layer (155) and can diffuse and emit output light emitted from the projection lens (110). In this case, when the cover (150) is combined, the light emitted from the projection lens (110) is diffused through the cover (150), and the electronic device (100) can illuminate a wide area and perform the function of lighting.

[0127] The cover (150) of various embodiments may include a reflective layer (151, see FIG. 8) bonded to at least a portion of the outer surface of the diffusion layer (155), or a reflective crystal (not shown) or reflector (152, 154, see FIG. 10a to 10d) provided inside the diffusion layer (155).

[0128] When the cover (150) is positioned close to the projection lens (110), a cover sensor, for example, an image sensor, an infrared sensor, a depth camera, or a distance sensor (or refer to FIGS. 11a to 11c), which is a component of the sensor unit (280) that detects this, senses whether the cover (150) is close or coupled and provides this to the processor (270), and the processor (270) can drive the electronic device (100) in a lighting mode based on whether the cover (150) is close or coupled. This driving is explained in detail with reference to the control method of the electronic device (100) of FIG. 12.

[0129] The cover (150) of various embodiments may be attached to the main body (105) so as to be in close contact with the projection lens (110) or spaced apart by at least one preset distance, and may have multiple attachment steps considering the distance between the cover (150) and the projection lens (110). The attachment and control methods of the various types of covers (150) will be described in detail below in FIG. 11a.

[0130] FIG. 6a is an enlarged perspective view of a part of an electronic device (100) of one embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0131] Referring to FIG. 6a, the cover (150) of the present disclosure may include an elastic region (155-1), a support region (155-2), and a connecting column (141).

[0132] The elastic region (155-1) is at least a portion of the surface of the cover (150) facing the projection lens (110) and may be made of an elastic material. The elastic region (155-1) may be a region that extends from the upper surface of the cover (150) to the lower surface and is exposed to the outer surface of the cover (150), as illustrated in FIGS. 6a and 6b. Although not illustrated in the drawings, the elastic region (155-1) of one embodiment may be a region that extends from the center of the cover (150) to the surface facing the projection lens (110), and the entire area of the cover (150) of one embodiment may be made of the elastic region (155-1).

[0133] The other region, excluding the elastic region (155-1), may be composed of a support region (155-2). The support region (155-2) may support the elastic region (155-1) and form the exterior of the cover (150). The support region (155-2) may be made of an elastic material, in which case the elastic modulus of the material forming the support region (155-2) may be different from the elastic modulus of the material forming the elastic region (155-1).

[0134] A connecting pillar (141) may be formed extending in the direction of the bottom of the cover (150), and in one embodiment, the connecting pillar (141) may be formed at the bottom of the diffusion layer (155). The connecting pillar (141) may be made of an elastic material and may be made of flexible silicone or synthetic resin. The structure and features of the connecting pillar (141) described in FIGS. 6a and 6b may be equally applied to connecting pillars (142, 143, 180) of various structures to be described later.

[0135] In various embodiments, the connecting column (141) may have a cylindrical shape consisting of a continuous body with a hollow central region. In this case, when the cover (150) is connected to the main body (105), a projection lens (110) may be positioned in the central region of the connecting column (141). The connecting column (141) may be made of an elastic material and may have flexibility.

[0136] The main body (105) has a shape corresponding to the shape of the connecting column (141) and may include a receiving groove (146) capable of receiving the connecting column (141). In one embodiment, the receiving groove (146) may have a groove structure that is recessed inward and surrounds the projection lens (110) at the head of the main body (105).

[0137] FIG. 6b is a cross-sectional view of the electronic device (100) of FIG. 6a cut along the A-A' direction.

[0138] Referring to FIG. 6b, the combined structure of the cover (150) and the projection lens (110) of the embodiment according to FIG. 6a will be explained.

[0139] When the cover (150) and the projection lens (110) are adjacent, at least a portion of the connecting pillar (141) of the cover (150) can be drawn into the receiving groove (146). In this case, the inner surface of the connecting pillar (141) comes into close contact with the receiving groove (146), and a temporarily sealed space (C) can be formed between the projection lens (110) and the cover (150).

[0140] The cover (150) can be moved closer to the projection lens (110) by a user or external force, and accordingly, the pressure in the sealed space (C) between the projection lens (110) and the cover (150) increases, and the air in the sealed space (C) can be released to the outside by pushing out the flexible connecting pillar (141).

[0141] When the external force acting on the cover (150) is removed, the sealed space (C) between the cover (150) and the projection lens (110) becomes a low-pressure state, and the cover (150) can be pressed against the main body (105). Alternatively, if a force pulling the cover (150) in the opposite direction to the projection lens (110) is applied, the air pressure between the cover (150) and the sealed space (C) decreases, and the force to detach the cover (150) can increase.

[0142] In one embodiment, the cover (150) includes an elastic region (155-1), and the elastic region (155-1) can push air out of the space between the cover (150) and the projection lens (110) when the cover (150) and the projection lens (110) are adjacent. In detail, the elastic region (155-1) can be deformed by internal air pressure when a sealed space (C) is formed between the cover (150) and the projection lens (110), thereby further increasing the force to detach the cover (150) and, as a result, effectively preventing the cover (150) from detaching.

[0143] According to one embodiment, when the elastic region (155-1) is continuous from the top to the bottom of the cover (150), when a user presses the elastic region (155-1) of the cover (150), the pressure in the sealed space (C) between the cover (150) and the projection lens (110) increases, air escapes to the outside, and the pressure in the sealed space (C) can be lowered more easily.

[0144] Therefore, as the connecting pillar (141) is inserted into the receiving groove (146), the cover (150) can push the air inside the sealed space (C) outward and create a low-pressure or vacuum state inside the sealed space (C). As a result, a low-pressure or vacuum state is formed between the cover (150) and the projection lens (110), and they are closely coupled to each other, preventing the cover (150) from sliding or separating from the main body (105).

[0145] FIG. 7a is an enlarged perspective view of a part of an electronic device (100) of one embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0146] Referring to FIG. 7a, the connecting column (142) and the receiving groove (147) can have various shapes.

[0147] The connecting column (142) may have a shape that extends downward from the lower surface of the diffusion layer (155) of the cover (150) and has a gradually decreasing cross-sectional area, and in this case, the receiving groove (147) may extend from the upper surface downward corresponding to the shape of the connecting column (142) and have a gradually decreasing cross-sectional area.

[0148] The connecting column (142) may be made of an elastic material, and in this case, since the lower side of the connecting column (142) is formed relatively thin, the lower side of the connecting column (142) can be deformed relatively easily.

[0149] When the cover (150) and the projection lens (110) are adjacent and a sealed space (C) is formed, the lower side of the connecting column (142) deforms relatively easily, so the air in the sealed space (C) can be easily discharged to the outside. And when the cover (150) and the projection lens (110) are in close contact, the upper side of the connecting column (142) does not deform relatively easily, so it is difficult to introduce air into the sealed space (C), and the force required to detach the cover (150) can be further increased, and the detachment of the cover (150) can be effectively prevented.

[0150] In an embodiment where the cover (150) has the connecting pillar (142) of FIG. 6b, the receiving groove (146) must have a cross-sectional area larger than the cross-sectional area of the connecting pillar (142) so that air can easily enter and exit through the receiving groove (146). However, in an embodiment where the cover (150) has the connecting pillar (142) of FIG. 7a, the shapes of the connecting pillar (142) and the receiving groove (147) can be formed to be relatively more similar, and the gap between the receiving groove (147) and the connecting pillar (142) can be minimized.

[0151] FIG. 7b is a cross-sectional view of a part of an electronic device (100) of one embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0152] Referring to FIG. 7b, the connecting column (143) and the receiving groove (148) can have various shapes.

[0153] The connecting column (143) may include a continuous annular connecting portion (148) that protrudes inwardly, and in this case, the receiving groove (148) may have a groove structure that is recessed inwardly to correspond to the shape of the connecting column (143) and the connecting portion (148) and may receive the connecting portion (148).

[0154] The connecting column (143) may be made of an elastic material, and in this case, when the cover (150) and the projection lens (110) are adjacent and a sealed space (C) is formed, the connecting column (143) may be pushed outward and deformed by the connecting part (148) and separated from the main body (105), and the air in the sealed space (C) may be pushed outward by the connecting part (148) and discharged to the outside. And, when the connecting part (148) is seated in the receiving groove (148) and the cover (150) and the projection lens (110) are in close contact, the connecting column (143) may come into close contact with the upper outer surface of the main body (105). Therefore, when the connecting part (148) is seated in the receiving groove (148), the connecting column (143) and the main body (105) are in close contact, making it difficult to introduce air into the sealed space (C), and the force to detach the cover (150) can be further increased, and the detachment of the cover (150) can be effectively prevented.

[0155] FIG. 8 is an enlarged perspective view of a part of an electronic device (100) of one embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0156] Referring to FIG. 8, the cover (150) of the present disclosure may include a reflective layer (151) and a diffusion layer (155), and the electronic device (100) may include a case (170).

[0157] In various embodiments, the cover (150) may include a reflective layer (151) and a diffusion layer (155), and the cover (150) may guide and diffuse the output light emitted from the projection lens (110) in an omnidirectional manner or in a preset direction.

[0158] The reflective layer (151) can reflect the output light emitted from the projection lens (110), and the diffuser layer (155) can diffuse the output light emitted from the projection lens (110). However, the reflective layer (151) and the diffuser layer (155) are names used to distinguish their respective roles and to explain them easily. In actual implementation, each component may not be implemented as a layer structure, and may be implemented in various forms such as a reflective area (151) and a diffuser area (155), a reflective surface (151) and a diffuser surface (155), or a reflective column (151) and a diffuser column (155).

[0159] As illustrated in FIG. 8, in one embodiment, a cover (150) may have a reflective layer (151) disposed on its upper surface and a diffusion layer (155) disposed on the lower surface of the reflective layer (151). Alternatively, the reflective layer (151) may be formed on the upper surface of the diffusion layer (155) to reflect output light transmitted through the diffusion layer (155).

[0160] The reflective layer (151) and the diffusion layer (155) may have at least some portions located on the same plane, for example, the diffusion layer (155) may extend into the output hole (153, see FIG. 10c) formed in the reflective layer (151), and light may be diffused inside the output hole (153). In this way, the cover (150) may be composed solely of the diffusion layer (155) to serve to diffuse and emit the output light of the projection lens (110), or the cover (150) may be composed of the diffusion layer (155) and the reflective layer (151) to guide the output light of the projection lens (110) to be emitted in a preset direction. For example, if the output light of the projection lens (110) is emitted in an upward direction or a vertical direction, the cover (150) may guide the output light in a lateral direction or a horizontal direction. The directionality of the output light of the projection lens (110) and the cover (150) is not limited thereto and can be varied in a structure in which at least a portion of the output light emitted from the projection lens (110) passes through the cover (150) and changes its direction of travel.

[0161] The upper surface of the cover (150) including the reflective layer (151), that is, the outer surface of the reflective layer (151), may be made of the same material as the outer surface of the main body (105) or the case (170). In one embodiment, the height of the cover (150) may be such that the upper surface of the main body (105) and the upper surface of the cover coincide when combined.

[0162] When the cover (150) is attached to the main body (105), the upper surface of the electronic device (100) may have a smooth flat or curved surface. The user may attach the cover (150) to the main body (105) when not using the electronic device (100) or carrying it around. The cover (150) can prevent damage to the projection lens (110) or the entry of foreign matter, and can provide uniformity in appearance.

[0163] The case (170) may be an independent component coupled to the main body (105) and may cover part or all of the outer surface of the main body (105). Not limited thereto, the case (170) may be implemented as an integral component with the main body (105) or may be an accessory that can be attached to and detached from the main body (105). The case (170) may protect the main body (105), and its outer surface may be made of a non-slip material so that it can be gripped by a user.

[0164] A case (170) is provided on the outer surface of the main body (105), so that when the cover (150) approaches the projection lens (110), it can receive output light diffused from the cover (150). The case (170) may include an opening that surrounds the main body (105) and exposes the projection lens (110) to the outside, and the cover (150) is coupled to the opening of the case (170) to open and close the projection lens (110).

[0165] Although not shown in the drawing, a sound output port for outputting sound or a plurality of heat dissipation ports for discharging heat or moisture inside the main body (105) may be formed on one side of the case (170). The case (170) may include a handle, and the external shape of the case (170) may be implemented in various forms such as a cylindrical shape, a box shape, or a spherical shape.

[0166] FIG. 9 is a cross-sectional view illustrating the output light of an electronic device (100) of one embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0167] Referring to FIG. 9, the cover (150) of the present disclosure may include a reflective layer (151) and a diffusion layer (155), and the case (170) may have a double structure including an inner surface (175) and an outer surface (171).

[0168] The reflective layer (151) of the cover (150) is positioned to face the projection lens (110) and can reflect output light emitted from the projection lens (110). The inner surface of the reflective layer (151) facing the projection lens (110), that is, the lower surface of the reflective layer (151), can be made of a metal material with high light reflectivity to reflect light, and can be implemented, for example, with bright colored plastic, mirror, metal compound, or aluminum such as white or silver.

[0169] The lower surface of the reflective layer (151) in various embodiments may be roughened to induce diffuse reflection of the output light. The reflective layer (151) induces diffuse reflection so that the output light travels in a horizontal direction, thereby preventing the output light emitted from the projection lens (110) from being reflected by the reflective layer (151) and re-entering the projection lens (110). Therefore, the reflective layer (151) induces diffuse reflection to prevent damage to components such as the light source and DMD chip placed inside the main body (105) and prevent the inside of the main body (105) from overheating.

[0170] A diffusion layer (155) is formed at the bottom of a reflection layer (151), is closer to the projection lens (110) than the reflection layer (151), and can diffuse the output light in a horizontal direction. The diffusion layer can be implemented as a curved lens that guides and diffuses the output light in a horizontal direction, or it may contain a plurality of mirror particles inside to induce diffusion of the output light. The outer surface and / or lower surface of the diffusion layer (155) may be coated with a transparent material so that the output light can pass through.

[0171] The cover (150) includes a reflective layer (151) and a diffusion layer (155) and can guide output light emitted from the projection lens (110) in a preset direction, for example, vertical output light in a horizontal direction, and in an embodiment where the main body (105) includes a case (170), the guided output light can be transmitted into the case (170). In an embodiment where the case (170) is not included, the cover (150) can guide the output light to diffuse in all directions (360 degrees) with respect to the upper surface of the electronic device (100), and the electronic device (100) can be driven in a lighting mode or output an image by controlling the color or illuminance based on the transmission structure of the diffused output light. The structure of the cover (150) in various embodiments will be described in detail with reference to FIGS. 10a to 10d.

[0172] The case (170) can receive output light from the diffusion layer (155) of the cover (150) and can protect the main body (105). When the cover (150) is combined, the case (170) can receive output light from the diffusion layer (155) and emit light, and the height of the case (170) can correspond to the upper surface of the cover (150) or to the height of the diffusion layer (155).

[0173] The case (170) of various embodiments may have a double structure including an inner surface (175) facing the main body (105) and an outer surface (171) exposed to the outside of the electronic device (100). Additionally, a diffusion member (173) for diffusing output light may be provided between the inner surface (175) and the outer surface (171).

[0174] The inner surface (175) can reflect output light in the direction of the outer surface (171), and the inner surface (175) can reflect light by being made of a metal material with high light reflectivity. For example, the inner surface (175) can be made of the same material as the lower surface of the reflective layer (151) of the cover (150), or it can be implemented with gray plastic, mirror, metal, or aluminum, and can be coated with a material with high light reflectivity.

[0175] The diffusion member (173) can diffuse the received output light and guide it to be delivered into the case (170), and can be implemented as a light-diffusing medium. The diffusion member (173) may include a plurality of mirror particles inside to induce diffusion of the output light, or may include patterning particles that induce scattering of the output light.

[0176] The outer surface (171) can emit at least a portion of the output light to the outside of the electronic device (100). The outer surface (171) may be made of a transparent or brightly colored light-diffusing material, and the output area of the output light that is diffused and emitted through the case (170) and the color, brightness, or clarity of the output light may be determined by the shape or structure of the outer surface (171). The outer surface (171) may be made of a flat or curved surface and may be implemented to have a cylindrical, conical, spherical, or polygonal three-dimensional structure.

[0177] FIGS. 10a to 5d are cross-sectional views of a cover (150) of one embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0178] Referring to FIG. 10a and FIG. 10b, a cover (150) of one embodiment of the present disclosure may include reflectors (152, 154).

[0179] Reflectors (152, 154) are provided inside the cover (150) and can reflect light emitted from the projection lens (110) in a preset direction. Specifically, reflectors (152, 154) can be provided inside the diffusion layer (155) and can reflect and diffuse light emitted from the projection lens (110) in a horizontal direction or a front direction so that it is not reflected back to the projection lens (110).

[0180] In one embodiment, the reflector (152, 154) may be a three-dimensional structure that protrudes from the upper surface of the cover (150) or from the reflective layer (151) toward the projection lens (110) and reflects output light in a horizontal direction. The reflector (152, 154) may be implemented as a single three-dimensional structure attached to the reflective layer (151), or may be implemented by arranging multiple three-dimensional structures.

[0181] As illustrated in FIG. 10a, the reflector (152) of one embodiment may have a shape that extends from the reflective layer (151) toward the projection lens (110) and has a decreasing cross-sectional area, or may have a horn shape with a bottom surface attached to the bottom surface of the reflective layer (151). The cross-sectional area of the reflector (152) may be a circle or a polygon, and, for example, may reflect output light received in a vertical direction in a horizontal direction.

[0182] As illustrated in FIG. 10b, the reflector (154) of another embodiment may have a hemispherical shape coupled to the reflective layer (151), and although not illustrated in the drawing, the outer surface of the hemisphere may have a structure in which at least one reflective surface composed of a plurality of polygons or circles is arranged. In this case, the outer surface of the reflector (154) may have a mirror ball structure or a honeycomb structure, and each reflective surface may be designed to reflect output light and guide it in the horizontal direction of the cover (150).

[0183] The reflective surface formed on the outer surface of the reflector (152, 154) may be made of a material with high light reflectivity. The reflector (152, 154) may be made of the same material as the reflective layer (151) or the inner surface (175) of the case (170), or the outer surface of the reflector (152, 154) may be coated with a material with high light reflectivity.

[0184] The reflector (152, 154) extends from the reflector layer (151) toward the projection lens (110) and, as the cross-sectional area decreases, prevents the output light from being reflected toward the projection lens (110) by the reflector layer (151) or the diffusion layer (155) and entering the main body (105), and can guide the output light to proceed in a horizontal direction.

[0185] Referring to FIG. 10c, a cover (150) of one embodiment of the present disclosure may include an output hole (153).

[0186] The output hole (153) may be an opening formed vertically in the reflective layer (151) or an opening filled with a transparent material, and the cover (150) may transmit at least a portion of the output light in a vertical direction through the output hole (153). In various embodiments, the output hole (153) is located at the center of the reflective layer (151) to prevent the output light from being specularly reflected back to the projection lens (110) from the center of the reflective layer (151).

[0187] The cover (150) may include a single output hole (153), in which case output light with a high illuminance value is emitted through the output hole (153) and can be used as a focused light or a pointer light. Although not shown in the drawing, a barrier (not shown) for opening and closing the output hole (153) may be attached to or detached from the upper surface of the output hole (153).

[0188] The cross-sectional area, shape, structure, or number of output holes (153), and the light transmittance of the transparent material inside the output holes (153) can be implemented in various ways, and depending on the structure of the output holes (153) and the control of the light source, the electronic device (100) can output a video or image through the output holes (153), or the electronic device (100) can be used as a focused light. The inside of the output holes (153) may be empty or filled with air, or a diffusion layer (155) may be positioned extending into the output holes (153) so as to correspond to the shape of the output holes (153).

[0189] Referring to FIG. 10d, a cover (150) of one embodiment of the present disclosure may include a reflective plate (157).

[0190] The reflective plate (157) is a reflective film extending in the horizontal direction of the reflective layer (151), and the reflective plate (157) can be bent downwards and its lower surface can be made of a light-reflecting material. The lower surface of the reflective plate (157) can be made of a metal material with high light reflectivity to reflect light, and its lower surface can be coated with a mirror material.

[0191] The reflective plate (157) can prevent output light from leaking out in the side direction of the cover (150) in an embodiment that does not include the case (170) or in a state where the cover (150) is not tightly coupled to the main body (105) (the 'first stage coupling state' described later), and can gently diffuse the output light in the side direction and guide it toward the case (170).

[0192] For example, the reflector plate (157) may basically have a structure that is bent downwards, and may maintain the bent structure when the cover (150) is separated from the main body (105) or in a first stage combined state. And when the cover (150) and the main body (105) are closely combined, it may be a structure that flattens out and covers the upper part of the main body (105).

[0193] The reflective plate (157) of various embodiments may have at least some areas made of a light-transmitting material or may include a transmission hole (not shown) so that light may be emitted in the direction of the upper and / or side through the area, and may be induced to spread the output light over a soft and wide range.

[0194] In the above description, a cover (150) including various structures and configurations has been described as an example. An electronic device (100) of various embodiments of the present disclosure may simultaneously include at least one of the structures described above, or may be implemented with various modifications within a range that can be easily derived by a person skilled in the art while maintaining a basic structure.

[0195] FIG. 11a is a cross-sectional view illustrating the combination of a main body (105) and a cover (150) of one embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0196] Referring to FIG. 11a, a cover (150) of one embodiment of the present disclosure may include a connecting column (180), and a main body (105) may include a receiving groove (185).

[0197] The connecting pillar (180) extends in the downward direction of the cover (150), and in one embodiment, the connecting pillar (180) may be formed at the bottom of the diffusion layer (155). The cover (150) may include one or more connecting pillars (180). The connecting pillar (180) may have various enhanced three-dimensional structures such as a pillar, a horn, or a sphere.

[0198] A recognition portion (181) may be formed on one side of the coupling column (180). The recognition portion (181) may have a shape protruding toward the center of the cover (150) as shown in FIG. 11a, but is not limited thereto, and may have a shape recessed into the coupling column (180), or the recognition portion (181) may have a flat structure and be implemented as an optical marker or an electric marker that can be recognized optically or electrically by the first sensor (189).

[0199] The receiving groove (185) can accommodate the coupling column (180) and the recognition part (181), and may have a shape corresponding to the shape of the coupling column (180). The receiving groove (185) may be located adjacent to the projection lens (110) of the main body (105). The receiving groove (185) supports the coupling column (180) and prevents the cover (150) from detaching from the main body (105) due to external force.

[0200] The first sensor (189) is formed inside the receiving groove (185) and can detect whether the cover (150) is coupled and the coupled state by recognizing the position of the recognition part (181). The first sensor (189) can be implemented as various types of sensors, such as optical sensors, physical sensors, and electric sensors, so as to correspond to the recognition part (181).

[0201] The cover (150) may have a plurality of coupling stages depending on the state of coupling with the main body (105), for example, the distance from the projection lens (110) and the degree of opening and closing of the projection lens, and the first sensor (189) can detect the coupling stage with the cover (150).

[0202] More specifically, the first stage coupling state is a state in which the cover (150) and the projection lens (110) are coupled with a gap, and the second stage coupling state may be a state in which the projection lens (110) is coupled more closely than in the first stage coupling state. In this case, the first sensor (189) can recognize the recognition unit (181) to recognize whether the cover (150) is coupled and the coupling state.

[0203] For example, the receiving groove (185) may include a first mounting portion (186) and a second mounting portion (187) having a shape corresponding to the structure of the recognition portion (181), and a first sensor (189) may be formed in each of the first mounting portion (186) and the second mounting portion (187). The first sensor (189) can detect the position of the cover (150) by recognizing whether the recognition portion (181) is mounted on either the first mounting portion (186) or the second mounting portion (187).

[0204] When the recognition part (181) has a structure that is physically protruding or recessed from the coupling column (180), the recognition part (181) is coupled to the first seating part (186) or the second seating part (187) of the receiving groove (185) to support the coupling of the cover (150) and the main body (105), and can prevent the cover (150) from detaching.

[0205] The receiving groove (185) may have a cross-sectional area larger than that of the connecting column (180), and the connecting column (180) and the recognition part (181) may be made of an elastic material. While the connecting column (180) is being inserted into the receiving groove (185), the connecting column (180) and / or the recognition part (181) may bend, and the recognition part (181) may be connected to the first seating part (186) or the second seating part (187) and restored. Alternatively, the recognition part (181) may enter the receiving groove (185) and be pushed into the interior of the connecting column (180) by the receiving groove (185), and when adjacent to the first seating part (186) or the second seating part (187), the recognition part (181) may come out of the connecting column (180).

[0206] The user can combine the cover (150) and the main body (105) into a first or second stage combined state depending on the combination action, for example, the force of pushing the cover (150) or the number of times the cover (150) is pushed, and the electronic device (100) can detect this and operate in response to the situation.

[0207] Although the recognition method of the first sensor (189) has been described above with reference to FIG. 11a, it is not limited to this in actual implementation and can be implemented in various modified ways depending on the structure, type, and location of the first sensor (189) and the recognition unit (181). For example, the first sensor (189) can be formed as an optical sensor or an electric sensor to measure the distance between the main body (105) and the cover (150).

[0208] FIG. 11b is a cross-sectional view illustrating the combination of a main body (105) and a cover (150) of one embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0209] Referring to FIG. 11b, the cover (150) of one embodiment of the present disclosure may include a protrusion (183), and the main body (105) may include a concave portion (188).

[0210] The protrusion (183) may be formed on the outer surface of the cover (150) and may be formed on the outer surface of the diffusion layer (155). The cover (150) may include one or more protrusions (183). The protrusion (183) may have a three-dimensional structure of various shapes, such as a column, a horn, or a sphere, and in one embodiment, the protrusion (183) may be implemented as a bolt made of screw threads.

[0211] The concave portion (188) may have a structure corresponding to the shape of the protrusion (183) and may be located adjacent to the projection lens (110) of the main body (105). In one embodiment, the concave portion (188) may be implemented as a threaded nut. The concave portion (188) may be combined with the protrusion (183) to support the cover (150) and prevent the cover (150) from being detached from the main body (105) by external force. Alternatively, the method of combining the concave portion (188) and the protrusion (183) may be applied in the same or similar manner as the method of combining the connecting column (180) and the receiving groove (185).

[0212] The second sensor (182, 184) is formed on the main body (105) and can detect the position of the cover (150) by recognizing whether the protrusion (183) and the receiving portion are coupled. The second sensor (182, 184) may include a first sub-sensor (182) located at the upper part of the main body (105), which is the entrance where the cover (150) is coupled, and a second sub-sensor (184) located at the lower part of the main body (105), which is the close coupling of the cover (150). The second sensor (182, 184) may be implemented as various types of sensors, such as optical sensors, physical sensors, and electric sensors.

[0213] The first sub-sensor (182) can detect whether the cover (150) and the main body (105) are coupled, and the second sub-sensor (184) can detect whether the cover (150) and the main body (105) are coupled in close contact. For example, if both the first sub-sensor (182) and the second sub-sensor (184) are off, the cover (150) and the main body (105) are separated; if the first sub-sensor (182) is on and the second sub-sensor (184) is off, the cover (150) and the main body (105) are coupled in a first stage coupled state with a gap between them; and if both the first sub-sensor (182) and the second sub-sensor (184) are on, the cover (150) and the main body (105) are coupled in a second stage coupled state with close contact. In this case, the second sensor (182, 184) can recognize whether the receiving portion and the protrusion (183) are coupled depending on whether the first sub-sensor (182) and the second sub-sensor (184) are on or off, and can recognize whether the cover (150) is coupled and the coupled state.

[0214] The user can combine the cover (150) and the main body (105) into a first or second stage combined state through a combining action, for example, by pushing the cover (150) or rotating the cover (150) to combine the protrusion (183) and the concave part (188), and the electronic device (100) can detect this and operate in response to the situation.

[0215] Although the recognition method of the second sensor (182, 184) has been described above with reference to FIG. 11b, it is not limited to this in actual implementation and can be implemented in various modified ways depending on the structure, type, and location of the first sensor (189) and the recognition unit (181). For example, the second sensor (182, 184) can be formed as an optical sensor or an electric sensor to easily measure the distance between the main body (105) and the cover (150).

[0216] FIG. 11c is a cross-sectional view illustrating the combination of a main body (105) and a cover (150) of one embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0217] Referring to FIG. 11c, the cover (150) of one embodiment of the present disclosure may include a rotating disk (192), and the main body (105) may include a rotating axis (191) and a third sensor (194).

[0218] The rotation axis (191) is a rod structure extending to the upper part of the main body (105) and can be positioned adjacent to the joint portion between the cover (150) and the main body (105), and the rotation disk (192) can be rotatably coupled to the rotation axis (191). The rotation disk (192) of the cover (150) rotates around the rotation axis (191) to open and close the projection lens (110).

[0219] The rotating disk (192) can be slid up or down the rotation axis (191), and the cover (150) can be separated from or in close contact with the projection lens (110) depending on the movement of the rotating disk (192).

[0220] In an embodiment in which the cover (150) and the main body (105) include a rotating disk (192) and a rotating shaft (191), the cover (150) is not completely separated from the main body (105), so the loss of the cover (150) can be prevented. Additionally, the user can intuitively move the cover (150), and in one embodiment, a driving device (not shown) is provided on the rotating disk (192) so that the electronic device (100) can automatically move the cover (150) by means of a processor (270).

[0221] A third sensor (194) is formed on the main body (105) and can detect the distance between the cover (150) and the main body (105). The third sensor (194) can be implemented as various types of sensors, such as optical sensors, physical sensors, and electric sensors.

[0222] Each of the first magnetic body (193) and the second magnetic body (195) is formed in the cover (150) and the main body (105), and an attractive force may act between the first magnetic body (193) and the second magnetic body (195).

[0223] In detail, the first magnetic body (193) is formed on the opposite side of the rotating disk (192) in the cover (150), and the second magnetic body (195) is formed on the opposite side of the rotation axis (191) in the main body (105) so that it can face the first magnetic body (193) at the position where the cover (150) is coupled. Then, when the cover (150) is rotated by the rotating disk (192) and the cover (150) is positioned on the upper surface of the projection lens (110), the first magnetic body (193) and the second magnetic body (195) exert an attractive force to pull each other, thereby fixing the cover (150) in a stable position. The first magnetic body (193) and the second magnetic body (195) may be implemented as a magnet and a metal material, or both may be implemented as magnets.

[0224] FIG. 12 is a flowchart for a control method (S100) of an electronic device (100) of one embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0225] The electronic device (100) is driven in a general driving stage, which is a project mode, so that a light source inside the main body (105) emits output light, and the output light passes through a projection lens (110) to output an image (S110). The light source can be driven in various driving modes of the projection unit (210) described above in FIG. 2 by the driving of the processor (270), and the electronic device (100) can project an image or video onto a screen and perform the main function of a projector.

[0226] During operation of the projector mode (S110), a cover (150) that diffuses output light in a horizontal direction may be attached to the top of the projection lens (110) by the user or the processor (270) (S120). The sensor unit may recognize whether the cover (150) is attached and the state of attachment and transmit this to the processor (270).

[0227] When the connection of the cover (150) is recognized, the light source can be controlled to operate in lighting mode (S130). In lighting mode, the processor (270) reduces the computational processing of the electronic device (100) compared to the projector mode, and the light source can emit light of a single color or project an image stored in memory. Alternatively, the light source can adjust the projection position of the output light by the cover (150) or the case (170). Therefore, in situations where the electronic device (100) is not used as a display device, it can be utilized as everyday lighting or smart lighting.

[0228] FIG. 13 is a flowchart of a control method for an electronic device (100) of one embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0229] Hereinafter, the operation of the lighting mode of the electronic device (100) of various embodiments of the present disclosure will be described in detail with reference to the flowchart of FIG. 13.

[0230] The coupling step of the cover (150) and the main body (105) may include a plurality of coupling steps depending on the distance between the cover (150) and the projection lens (110), and the processor (270) can recognize each coupling step through the sensor unit (280).

[0231] For example, the sensor unit (280) may recognize whether the cover (150) and the projection lens (110) are coupled (S220), recognize a first stage coupling in which the cover (150) and the projection lens (110) are coupled with a gap (S223), or recognize a second stage coupling in which the cover (150) and the projection lens (110) are coupled with a closer connection than the first stage coupling (S225).

[0232] And, the electronic device (100) receives the combined state (S220, S223, S225) of the cover (150) from the sensor unit and can adjust the operation of the light source's lighting mode in various ways to correspond to these states (S210).

[0233] When the connection of the cover (150) is recognized (S220), the electronic device (100) can switch from projector mode to lighting mode, or the electronic device (100) can operate in lighting mode when the power is off or in standby mode.

[0234] When the first stage coupling of the cover (150) is recognized (S223), the electronic device (100) can adjust the amount of light, the color of the output light, or the light emission area corresponding to the cover (150) so that the output light is diffused in the lateral direction of the cover (150), or can be driven according to the user's settings.

[0235] When the second stage of coupling of the cover (150) is recognized (S225), the electronic device (100) transmits output light to the case (170) through the cover (150) and the case (170), and the output light can be emitted through the outer surface of the case (170). The light source is driven in a manner different from the first stage (S223) of the cover (150) in response to this, and in one embodiment, it emits a softer and more subtle light to implement the function of a mood light or indirect light.

[0236] Additionally, when the second stage of coupling of the cover (150) is recognized (S225), the electronic device (100) can increase the operation of the heat dissipation fan (290). As output light is emitted from the outer surface of the case (170), the internal temperature of the main body (105) located inside the case (170) may rise, and the components placed inside the main body (105) may overheat. Therefore, in the second stage of coupling of the cover (150), the operation of the heat dissipation fan (290) is automatically increased to control the temperature or humidity inside the main body (105).

[0237] In addition, the sensor unit can detect the operating environment of the electronic device (100), such as ambient brightness, temperature and humidity, and other lighting operations, or recognize the user's location, gestures, and movements through the various sensors described above (S230). Then, the electronic device (100) can adjust the operation of the lighting mode of the light source in various ways in consideration of this (S210).

[0238] For example, the sensor unit recognizes the user's location, so that the electronic device (100) does not project light in the direction toward the user in lighting mode, or reduces the amount of light or blue light.

[0239] The electronic device (100) can detect the user's location and movement or store the user's lifestyle patterns and, based on these, recognize the user's state, such as the performance of various actions like sleeping, reading, watching TV, listening to music, and eating. Additionally, the electronic device (100) can control a light source to correspond to each user's actions and be utilized as a user-customized smart light.

[0240] For example, when music is continuously output from the audio output section of the electronic device (100) or when sound is output without the user watching the video, the electronic device (100) can control the driving of the light source to match the output or input sound source to implement an ambient effect.

[0241] Although preferred embodiments of the present disclosure have been illustrated and described above, the present disclosure is not limited to the specific embodiments described above, and various modifications can be made by those skilled in the art to which the present disclosure belongs without departing from the gist of the present disclosure as claimed in the claims, and such modifications should not be understood individually from the technical spirit or perspective of the present disclosure.
