Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a vertical composite tool system for a product transfer device for press forming of a carbide insert product, and more specifically, to a vertical composite tool system configured to improve product productivity and quality by combining a gripping part for ejecting a carbide insert product from a press forming a carbide insert product and a cleaning part for cleaning the upper and lower surfaces of a molding die. Background Technology

[0003] Generally, a cutting tool is a tool primarily used for cutting ferrous, non-ferrous, and non-metallic materials, typically mounted on a machine tool to perform cutting in order to shape a workpiece into a desired form.

[0004] Carbide inserts used in cutting tools are sintered alloys formed by mixing diamond powder or cemented carbide powder with metal powders such as iron (Fe), tungsten (W), cobalt (Co), copper (Cu), nickel (Ni), tin (Sn), copper-tin (CuSn), zinc (Zn), copper-zinc (CuZn), and silver (Ag) as bonds.

[0005] In the molding step prior to sintering, mixed powder is placed into a rectangular cavity and subjected to primary pressure molding. The mixture subjected to primary pressure molding is then placed into a cavity of a carbon mold, and a cutting tip with a shape corresponding to the shape of the puncher is formed by applying high pressure using a puncher. By sintering the insert tip formed into a specific shape in a sintering furnace, a diamond insert tip or insert tip is completed.

[0006] The above-mentioned molding step requires a cleaning device for cleaning the upper and lower surfaces of the mold and a pickup device for ejecting the molded carbide insert product from the mold and transferring it to a pallet. In conventional molding presses, the cleaning device and the pickup device are configured separately.

[0007] The applicant has filed and registered a ‘composite tool system for a product transfer device for press forming of a carbide insert’ (Application No. 10-2019-0076032, Application Date June 26, 2019), in which the grip portion and the clean portion are formed together. Although the invention is configured to use compressed air to provide excellent rotational force for the brush and to tilt the brush during product extraction so as not to interfere with the operation, it still has problems such as interference with surrounding devices when working in a narrow molding space, as the overall external dimensions are increased due to the arrangement of the grip portion and the clean portion side by side at the tip.

[0008] The applicant has developed a vertical composite tool system capable of mass-producing high-quality carbide insert products by simultaneously performing an efficient cleaning process and an accurate pickup process, thereby improving upon the aforementioned problems in the present invention. Specific details for implementing the invention

[0030] The present invention is capable of various modifications and may have various embodiments. Specific embodiments are illustrated in the drawings and described in detail in the description of the invention.

[0031] However, this is not intended to limit the invention to specific embodiments, and it should be understood that it includes all modifications, equivalents, and substitutions that fall within the spirit and scope of the invention.

[0032] The terms and words used in this invention are used merely to describe specific embodiments and are not intended to limit the invention. Based on the principle that the concepts of the terms can be appropriately defined to best describe one's invention, they should be interpreted in a meaning and concept consistent with the technical spirit of this invention.

[0033] The vertical composite tool system of a product transfer device for press forming of a carbide insert product according to the present invention is responsible for the function of combining with or approaching an existing forming press device to extract a formed carbide insert product, passing it through a deburring process, and transferring it to a sintering plate for a sintering process.

[0034] The vertical composite tool system of the product transfer device for press forming of a carbide insert product according to the present invention is configured such that work commands issued from a controller (not shown) of the transfer device are executed through a slave (12) that transmits pneumatic or electrical signals coupled to a robot (X-axis, Y-axis, Z-axis).

[0035] In the existing product transfer device for press forming, 'gripper tool' and 'clean tool' were arranged separately, and normally, the carbide insert product formed with the gripper tool was ejected, but when mold cleaning was required, the process was carried out by switching to the clean tool through the ATC (Auto Tool Changer).

[0036] In order to improve the aforementioned problems, the applicant has filed a 'composite tool system for a product transfer device for press forming of a carbide insert (Application No. 10-2019-0076032, Application Date June 26, 2019)' in which the gripper tool and the clean tool are formed together.

[0037] Referring to FIG. 1, the prior art of the applicant is schematically described as follows. A conventional composite tool system (1) has a gripping portion (1.1) and a cleaning portion (1.2) arranged horizontally side by side at the front end of a frame. The gripping portion (1.1) is configured to include a gripper (1.11) for gripping and extracting a molded carbide insert product, a stepping motor (1.13) for controlling the gripping angle of the gripper (1.11) and the loading angle of the pallet, and a gripper rotation belt (1.12) that connects the stepping motor (1.13) and the gripper (1.11) to transmit driving force.

[0038] Additionally, the cleaning unit (1.2) is configured to include an upper and lower brush (1.21) configured to clean the upper and lower molding molds simultaneously, a tilting cylinder (1.22) capable of tilting the brush (1.21) during a gripping operation, a forward / reverse rotation motor (1.24) capable of rotating the brush (1.21) in forward / reverse direction during a cleaning operation, and a brush rotation felt (1.25) capable of transmitting the driving force of the forward / reverse rotation motor (1.24) to the brush (1.21).

[0039] As described above, the structure in which the grip and clean sections are arranged horizontally at the tip has problems such as interference with surrounding devices when working in a narrow molding space due to the increased overall external dimensions.

[0040] The applicant has developed a high-performance, high-quality vertical composite tool system that resolves the aforementioned problems by reconfiguring the grip portion and the clean portion.

[0041] The specific features and advantages of the vertical composite tool system of the product transfer device for press forming of a carbide insert product according to the present invention will become clearer from the following description with reference to the attached drawings.

[0042] FIG. 1 is a schematic representation of a conventional composite tool system, FIG. 2 is an overall perspective view schematically representing a vertical composite tool system of a product transfer device for press forming a carbide insert product according to the present invention, FIG. 3 is an internal configuration diagram showing the operation of the vertical composite tool system of the present invention, FIG. 4 is an overall perspective view schematically representing a grip portion of the vertical composite tool system of the present invention, FIG. 5 is a three-dimensional cross-sectional view schematically representing a clean portion of the vertical composite tool system during mold cleaning, FIG. 6 is a three-dimensional cross-sectional view schematically representing a clean portion of the vertical composite tool system during a pick-up operation, FIG. 7 is a three-dimensional perspective view showing the configuration of a gripper module and a brush module of the vertical composite tool system, and FIG. 8 is an overall perspective view schematically representing the configuration of a drive portion of the vertical composite tool system of the present invention.

[0043] Referring to FIGS. 2 and 3, the vertical composite tool system of a product transfer device for press forming of a carbide insert product according to the present invention comprises: a gripping part (100) in which one side in the longitudinal direction of a frame (11) is coupled to a main body device and the other side, which is the tip, picks up and extracts a carbide insert product formed in a forming press and transfers it to the next process; a cleaning part (200) formed on the frame (11) along the same line in the longitudinal direction as the gripping part (100) and cleans the upper and lower forming molds; and a driving part (300) that rotates the gripping part (100) and the cleaning part (200) in forward and reverse directions.

[0044] Referring to FIGS. 4 and 7, the grip portion (100) of the vertical composite tool system of the product transfer device for press forming of a carbide insert product according to the present invention comprises a gripper module (110) for gripping a carbide insert product that has been formed and an air blower (120) that sprays compressed air along the outer circumference of the gripper module (110).

[0045] At this time, the gripper module (110) according to the present invention is equipped with a jaw-type and vacuum-type gripper (111), and when the jaw-type and vacuum-type are applied, a pneumatic line is configured to operate by pneumatic pressure.

[0046] The carbide insert product extracted and gripped by the gripper module (110) according to the present invention is placed on a sintering plate for a sintering process after removing dust from the surface in a deburring process.

[0047] At this time, compressed air is ejected from the air blower (120) to increase the deburring efficiency, and the system is composed of a stepping motor (310) capable of minute rotation and a timing belt (320) for accurate loading of the carbide insert product. (Described below in the drive unit)

[0048] Referring to FIGS. 5 to 7, the clean section (200) of the vertical composite tool system of the product transfer device for press forming of a carbide insert product according to the present invention is formed on the frame (11) in the same longitudinal line as the grip section (100) and comprises a brush module (210) and a cylinder body (220) to clean the upper molding mold and the lower molding mold.

[0049] The brush module (210) of the present invention comprises an upper mold brush (211) including an upper brush hold (211.1) for cleaning an upper molding mold and a lower mold brush (213) including a lower brush hold (213.1) for cleaning a lower molding mold.

[0050] In addition, on the outer surface of the lower brush hold (213.1) of the present invention, a brush hold guide (213.2) is formed to make planar butt contact with the inner wall of the 'lower cylinder' of the cylinder body (220) in order to transmit forward and reverse rotational force and prevent idle rotation.

[0051] The cylinder body (220) of the present invention is configured such that the upper mold brush (211) and the lower mold brush (213) are combined.

[0052] At this time, the upper mold brush (211) of the brush module (210) is configured to be attached to the upper end of the cylinder body (220), and the lower mold brush (213) is configured to be vertically raised and concealed inside the frame (11) when the grip part (100) performs a 'pickup operation', and to be vertically lowered and exposed when performing 'mold cleaning'.

[0053] In addition, the cylinder body (220) of the present invention is formed such that an 'upper cylinder' and a 'lower cylinder' having different inner diameters are vertically penetrated, the 'upper cylinder' is configured in a cylindrical shape, and the 'lower cylinder' has a flat contact surface formed on its inner wall to transmit forward and reverse rotational force to a lower mold brush (213) that slides together and to prevent idle rotation.

[0054] In the 'upper cylinder' of the cylinder body (220) of the present invention, a 1st stage slider (230) in the form of a cylindrical cylinder is coupled to enable an up-and-down reciprocating sliding motion, and in the 'lower cylinder', a lower brush holder (213.1) to which a lower mold brush (213) is attached is coupled to enable an up-and-down reciprocating sliding motion.

[0055] In addition, a sliding rod (240) is connected to the center of the lower brush holder (213.1) and is configured to perform up-and-down reciprocating sliding motion by being coupled to the cylindrical cylinder of the first stage slider (230).

[0056] At this time, if we look at the internal configuration of the cylinder body (220), from the top, it is connected in the order of a first stage slider (230) configured to move up and down in the upper cylinder, a sliding rod (240) configured to move up and down in a cylinder shape coupled to the slider (230), a lower brush holder (213.1) coupled to the sliding rod (240), and a lower mold brush (213) coupled to the lower brush holder (213.1). Each component is configured to have an O-ring (not attached) coupled to it to provide a sealing function so that it can move up and down in a sliding motion by operating air.

[0057] When examining in detail the exposure (mold cleaning) and concealment (pickup operation) of the lower mold brush (213) of the present invention, during 'mold cleaning', operating air is injected into the inner side (upper cylinder) of the cylinder body (220) through the air pit (not provided) and pneumatic line connected to the fixed boss (216) to simultaneously lower the first stage slider (230) and the sliding rod (240), thereby lowering the lower mold brush (213) and becoming ready for mold cleaning (exposed). Additionally, during 'pickup operation', operating air injected through another pneumatic line is injected into the space between the sliding rod (240) and the first stage slider (230) and the space between the first stage slider (230) and the cylinder body (220), thereby raising the sliding rod (240) and the first stage slider (230) to conceal the lower mold brush (213) inside the frame (11). (See Figs. 5 and 6)

[0058] Referring to FIG. 8, the driving unit (300) of the vertical composite tool system of the product transfer device for press forming of a carbide insert product according to the present invention comprises a stepping motor (310) that generates power to rotate the upper mold brush (211) and the lower mold brush (213) in forward and reverse directions, a timing belt (320) that transmits the forward and reverse rotational force generated from the stepping motor (310) to the gripping unit (100) and the cleaning unit (200), a sensor (330) that controls the gripping angle of the gripper module (110), and a tension roller (340) that adjusts the tension of the timing belt (320).

[0059] The timing belt (320) of the present invention is configured so that the gripper module (110) and the brush module (210), which are located on the same line in the longitudinal direction of the frame (11), can simultaneously perform forward and reverse rotational movements.

[0060] Looking in detail at the forward and reverse rotational force transmission of the driving unit (300) of the present invention, the gripper module (210) of the gripping unit (100) and the brush module (210) of the cleaning unit (200) are formed on the same line in the longitudinal direction on the frame (11), and are configured to be driven simultaneously by being connected to a stepping motor (310) that generates the driving force and a timing belt (320).

[0061] The forward and reverse rotational force transmitted to the gripper module (110) controls the position by rotating the gripper (111) by the pulley (112). Additionally, the forward and reverse rotational force transmitted to the brush module (210) is transmitted to the cylinder body (220), which is rotatably supported by a bearing (218) via a pulley (217), and finally, the upper mold brush (211) and the lower mold brush (213) are rotated in the forward and reverse directions to perform 'mold cleaning'.

[0062] At this time, the brush hold guide (213.2) formed on the outer surface of the lower brush hold (213.1) is configured to make planar butt-to-butt contact with the inner wall of the 'lower cylinder' of the cylinder body (220) to transmit the forward and reverse rotational force of the drive unit to the lower mold brush (213) and to prevent idle rotation.

[0064] The vertical composite tool system of the product transfer device for press forming of a carbide insert product according to the present invention has the following features.

[0065] The vertical composite tool system of the present invention is configured such that a gripping part for extracting a carbide insert product and a cleaning part for cleaning a molding die are arranged on the same line in the longitudinal direction.

[0066] Therefore, the overall external width of the above vertical composite tool system is reduced, allowing for the provision of a system with excellent work efficiency in a narrow molding space.

[0067] In addition, the vertical composite tool system of the present invention is configured to vertically raise and conceal the lower brush inside the frame during the carbide insert product pickup operation, and to vertically lower and expose the lower brush during mold cleaning.

[0068] Therefore, compared to the brush structure of the conventional invention in a horizontal tilting state, it has the advantage of good space utilization and no interference with surrounding devices.

[0069] In addition, the vertical composite tool system of the present invention has a gripping part and a cleaning part positioned at the front and rear of the frame length direction, and a driving part configured to be driven simultaneously by a single timing belt.

[0070] Therefore, since the configuration of the drive unit is simpler than that of conventional composite tool devices, it is possible to provide a high-performance vertical composite tool system with excellent quality and price competitiveness. Explanation of the symbols
