Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a combustion plate for a combustion device that burns a combustible material, and more specifically, to a combustion plate for a combustion device in which a combustible material is burned while stacked on top. Background Technology
[0003] Generally, boilers are used to supply heating and hot water in homes, offices, factories, and greenhouses. Oil and gas boilers are widely used due to their high thermal efficiency and ease of handling, as they leave no ash after combustion. However, using these boilers has presented economic difficulties due to rising fuel costs. In particular, rural areas, mountainous regions, and remote areas where conditions are unfavorable face not only economic issues stemming from increased fuel costs but also difficulties in installation and operation.
[0004] Consequently, there is a growing trend of using stoves powered by various pellet fuels, including not only wood but also other biomass, primarily in general farms and factories for residential or small-scale commercial use. Such pellet stoves consist of a combustion section where pellets are loaded and generate combustion gases upon ignition, a chamber formed with a heating path to circulate the combustion gases generated from the combustion section, and an exhaust port connected to the chamber to exhaust the combustion gases to the outside. At this time, a pellet feeder is installed in the combustion section to supply pellets.
[0005] Korean Utility Model Published No. 20-2024-0000068 (combustion plate for pellet combustion device) filed by the applicant of the present invention provides a pellet combustion plate installed at the lower part of a pellet combustion device body as shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, comprising: a fixed shaft portion installed to cross the body and having both ends fixed to the body; and a grating portion that is integrally connected to the fixed shaft portion, wherein a plurality of combustion zones are arranged spaced apart from each other along the fixed shaft portion and extend in the longitudinal direction intersecting the fixed shaft portion.
[0006] This conventional technology can prevent the accumulation of ash generated after combustion, and since multiple plates are spaced apart from each other and manufactured as a single unit by joining with a fixed shaft, it can ensure structural stability by maintaining rigidity while simplifying manufacturing and assembly, and can improve combustion efficiency by securing an air passage to induce smooth air inflow and increasing the contact area with air.
[0007] However, the applicant of the present invention has filed the present invention by improving the aforementioned prior art and developing a combustion chamber capable of supplying combustion air to pellets more smoothly. Prior art literature
[0009] Republic of Korea Published Utility Model No. 20-2024-0000068 (Combustion plate for pellet combustion device) The problem to be solved
[0010] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a combustion unit for a combustion device equipped with a mechanism for evenly supplying external air to accumulated combustion material.
[0011] In particular, the purpose is to provide a combustion chamber for a combustion device that can supply external air to each member in which combustion material is stored through the aforementioned mechanism.
[0012] Another objective is to provide a combustion chamber for a combustion device that can supply outside air by substantially communicating the member containing the combustible material with the outside through a member communicating with the outside, and furthermore, supply outside air in a rotatable state.
[0013] In addition, another purpose is to provide a combustion zone for a combustion device capable of supplying outside air along the longitudinal direction of a member in which combustible material is stored. means of solving the problem
[0015] A combustion chamber for a combustion device according to the present invention for achieving the aforementioned purpose comprises: a combustion chamber installed at the lower part of a combustion device body for burning a combustion material, wherein the combustion chamber comprises: an air jacket formed in an elongated manner and installed horizontally at the lower part of the combustion device body; a plurality of ribs horizontally installed at a spaced-apart state on the side of the air jacket along the longitudinal direction of the air jacket, forming an integral structure with the air jacket in an orthogonal state, and having a combustion material accumulated and burned on the upper part; and a ventilator that supplies outside air of the combustion device body to the ribs through the interior of the air jacket.
[0016] The above ventilator comprises: an air chamber formed as a hollow inside the air jacket along the longitudinal direction of the air jacket; a hole-shaped supply port formed through one side of the air jacket in communication with the air chamber and in communication with the combustion body to supply outside air of the combustion body to the air chamber; and a hole-shaped exhaust port formed through the side of the air jacket where the rib is installed, facing the rib in communication with the air chamber, and exhausting the outside air of the combustion body flowing into the supply port and permeating the air chamber to the rib in the opposite state to provide the outside air of the combustion body to the combustion material combusted in the rib.
[0017] The above rib is characterized by having a downward slope from one side connected to the side of the air jacket to the other side.
[0018] The air jacket comprises: an upper shell formed long and shielding the upper part of the rib; and a lower shell formed long and shielding the lower part of the rib.
[0019] The above air jacket is characterized in that the exhaust port is formed by at least one of the upper shell or the lower shell.
[0020] The above rib is characterized by being installed between the upper shell and the lower shell and being composed of a long plate-shaped stick having a downward slope on both sides.
[0021] At least one of the upper shell or the lower shell has an insertion hole formed therein into which both sides of the central portion of the rib are inserted.
[0022] The upper shell or the lower shell may be provided with a spacer protruding from the end to prevent contact with the inner surface of the combustion body and to separate the end from the inner surface.
[0023] The above rib has a protrusion formed on the contact portion that contacts the upper shell or the lower shell.
[0024] In the above air jacket, a groove-shaped protrusion holder into which the protrusion is inserted is formed in the upper shell.
[0025] The above ventilator further includes a connecting pipe that is connected to the air supply port in a communicating state and penetrates the main body of the combustion device to communicate the air supply port with the outside of the main body of the combustion device.
[0026] The air jacket is characterized in that one side equipped with the air supply port is rotatably fixed to the lower part of the combustion body, and the other side is provided with a handle that is seated in a locking hole of the combustion body to be locked or unlocked, and rotates around the one side by unlocking the handle.
[0027] The above air jacket can be rotated around the above connecting pipe.
[0028] The present invention further includes an elongated external air guide formed along the longitudinal direction of the rib and communicating with the exhaust port to guide the external air of the exhaust port or the air chamber to the combustion material. Effects of the invention
[0030] As described above, the present invention prevents combustion by accumulated combustion materials, such as pellets, from being extinguished even when they are excessively accumulated on the upper part of the rib, because outside air is supplied through the ventilator.
[0031] In particular, outside air flows through the air chamber of the ventilator along the longitudinal direction of the air jacket and is discharged through the exhaust ports between the ribs, so outside air can be supplied evenly to multiple ribs overall, and outside air can also be supplied to each rib individually.
[0032] In addition, a downward slope is formed on the rib so that the combusted ash slides easily along the longitudinal direction of the rib, allowing the ash to fall naturally; and since the rib is composed of a plate-like stick having length, the rib can be made substantially in line contact with the combustible material, thereby allowing more external air to be supplied to the combustible material.
[0033] In addition, since the air jacket is composed of an upper shell and a lower shell with both ends shielded, an enclosed or tubular air jacket having a hollow air chamber inside can be provided, and since the ribs or the protrusions of the ribs are inserted into the insertion holes or protrusion holders of the upper shell and the lower shell, the ribs can be firmly fixed to the upper shell and the lower shell, and since the ribs inserted into the insertion holes and protrusion holders are caught on the insertion holes and protrusion holders, the upper shell and the lower shell can be easily separated to provide an exhaust port of the ventilator.
[0034] In addition, since one side of the air jacket is rotatably fixed to the main body of the combustion device and a handle is provided on the other side of the air jacket, the combusted ash can be easily discharged to the side of the rib by rotating the air jacket with the handle.
[0035] In addition, if a flue pipe is connected to the air jacket, outside air can be supplied to the air chamber of the air jacket through the flue pipe, and furthermore, if the flue pipe is rotatably fixed to the main body of the combustion unit, outside air can be supplied through the flue pipe or the air jacket can be rotated around the flue pipe.
[0036] In addition, if an elongated external air guide is provided along the longitudinal direction of the rib, the external air of the air chamber can be supplied to the end of the rib through the external air guide. Brief explanation of the drawing

Specific details for implementing the invention
[0039] Hereinafter, a combustion device for a combustion unit according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the attached drawings.
[0040] A combustion chamber for a combustion device according to an embodiment of the present invention is installed at the bottom of the combustion device body (1) as shown in FIG. 4. As shown in FIG. 4, a combustion material, such as pellets, that is fed into the top of the combustion device body (1) is accumulated and burned in the combustion chamber (G).
[0041] The combustion chamber (G) includes an air jacket (50), ribs (60), and a ventilator (70) as shown in FIGS. 5 to 7. As shown in FIGS. 5 and 8, the air jacket (50) is formed as a long housing or tube and is installed horizontally in a long manner at the bottom of the combustion body (1). As shown in FIG. 5, the ribs (60) are composed of multiple ribs and are installed horizontally at a spaced-apart position along the longitudinal direction of the air jacket (50) to form an integral unit with the air jacket (50) in an orthogonal state. An unillustrated combustion material, such as pellets, is placed on the upper part of the ribs (60) and combusted. The ventilator (70) supplies outside air from the combustion body (1) to the ribs (60) through the interior of the air jacket (50).
[0042] The air jacket (50) is composed of an upper shell (51) and a lower shell (53) as illustrated in FIGS. 7 and 8. The upper shell (51) and the lower shell (53) are formed long as illustrated and are connected to the upper and lower parts of the ribs (60) to shield the upper and lower parts of the ribs (60). It is preferable that the upper shell (51) and the lower shell (53) be formed to have a folded or curved cross-section as illustrated so that the air jacket (50) is formed into a housing-type or tubular-type structure. Accordingly, the air jacket (50) is formed into a housing-type or tubular-type structure having length by means of the upper shell (51) and the lower shell (53).
[0043] As illustrated in FIGS. 7 and 8, the air jacket (50) may have both ends of the upper shell (51) and the lower shell (53) shielded by the foremost and rearmost ribs (60) among the plurality of ribs (60). Alternatively, the air jacket (50) may have both ends of the upper shell (51) and the lower shell (53) shielded by a vertical plate not illustrated. Accordingly, as illustrated, the air jacket (50) has a hollow air chamber (71) formed inside by the upper shell (51) and the lower shell (53), which have both ends shielded by being installed respectively on the upper and lower parts of the ribs (60).
[0044] As shown in FIG. 6, the air jacket (50) has a protruding spacer (51b) formed at one end and protruding backward. As shown in FIG. 9, the spacer (51b) prevents the rear end of the air jacket (50) from adhering to the inner surface of the combustion body (1).
[0045] As illustrated in FIGS. 6 and FIGS. 8, the above rib (60) is preferably composed of a long, plate-shaped stick. As illustrated, the rib (60) is installed horizontally between the upper shell (51) and the lower shell (53) of the air jacket (50) while being orthogonal to the upper shell (51) and the lower shell (53), so that at least one of the two sides protrudes outward from the air jacket (50). As illustrated, the rib (60) may be formed long on both sides centered on the center and protrude to both sides of the air jacket (50), or alternatively, it may be formed long only on one side centered on the center and protrude only to one side of the air jacket (50). As illustrated, the above rib (60) forms an integral part with the air jacket (50) and protrudes outwardly from the side of the air jacket (50).
[0046] As shown in FIGS. 6 and FIGS. 8, the above rib (60) has a downward slope formed on both sides. The above rib (60) has a downward slope from one side of the central part to the other side of the end, as shown, so that the ash of the accumulated combustion material slides to both ends and falls downward. As shown, the above rib (60) is formed in a roughly 'ㅅ' shape due to the downward slope. As shown, it is preferable that the above rib (60) has a downward slope from one side part connected to the side of the air jacket (50) to the other end, as shown. As shown, the above rib (60) has a ventilation opening (60b) in the form of a concave groove or a through hole formed in the part embedded in the air jacket (50), that is, the central part, so that outside air is vented into the central part and outside air flows into the interior of the air jacket (50). Accordingly, as described below, outside air introduced into the air chamber (71) of the air jacket (50) flows through the vent (60b).
[0047] As illustrated in FIGS. 5 and 7, the air jacket (50) has an insertion hole (50a) formed in at least one of the upper shell (51) or the lower shell (53) into which both sides of the central portion of the rib (60) are inserted, so that the rib (60), which is formed in a roughly 'ㅅ' shape on the inner side of the upper shell (51) or the lower shell (53), can be easily fixed. Accordingly, the upper or lower portion of the central portion of the rib (60) is inserted into the insertion hole (50a), thereby being attached to the air jacket (50) at equal intervals. The rib (60) is integrally fixed to the upper shell (51) or the lower shell (53) of the air jacket (50) by welding.
[0048] As illustrated in FIGS. 6 and 7, the rib (60) has a protrusion (60a) formed on the contact portion that contacts the upper shell (51) or the lower shell (53). As illustrated, the upper shell (51) has a groove-shaped protrusion holder (51a) formed along its length in which the protrusion (60a) is inserted. The protrusion (60a) is centered in the protrusion holder (51a) to easily connect the rib (60) to the upper shell (51) and to limit the seating depth of the upper shell (51) that is seated on the rib (60). Therefore, the upper shell (51) cannot descend further to the lower part of the rib (60) as it is caught on the protrusion (60a). The portion of the rib (60) where the protrusion (60a) is formed can be welded. Accordingly, the rib (60) is easily joined to the upper shell (51) through the projection (60a).
[0049] Meanwhile, the above ventilator (70) may be configured to include an air chamber (71), an air supply port (73), and an exhaust port (75), for example, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 9. The air chamber (71) is configured as a hollow formed along the longitudinal direction inside the air jacket (50) as shown. That is, the air chamber (71) is configured as a hollow of the air jacket (50). As shown, the upper shell (51) and the lower shell (53) are fixed to the upper and lower parts of the rib (60) of the air jacket (50), but are fixed in a spaced-apart state by the rib (60), and the upper shell (51) and the lower shell (53) are provided with a hollow inside as both ends are shielded through the rib (60) or an unillustrated vertical plate.
[0050] As illustrated in FIGS. 6 and 9, the air supply port (73) is formed through at least one of the two sides or both ends of the air jacket (50) and communicates with the air chamber (71). For example, it is preferable that the air supply port (73) be formed through the rib (60) which shields the upper shell (51) and the lower shell (53) and is provided at the rear end of the air jacket (50) as illustrated. As illustrated, the air jacket (50) is installed on the combustion body (1) in a state where the air supply port (73) communicates with the outside of the combustion body (1). As illustrated, the air jacket (50) is supplied with outside air as one end having the air supply port (73) formed therein communicates directly with the outside of the combustion body (1), or external air is supplied through the communication pipe (73a) connected to the air supply port (73) as the communication pipe (73a) penetrates the combustion body (1) and communicates with the outside.
[0051] As illustrated in FIGS. 8 and 9, the exhaust port (75) is formed as a through hole on the side of the air jacket (50) where the rib (60) is installed, providing an exhaust port on the side of the air jacket (50) facing the rib (60). As illustrated, since the exhaust port (75) is formed as a through hole on the side of the air jacket (50), it communicates with the air chamber (71) provided on the inside of the air jacket (50). As illustrated, the exhaust port (75) is in communication with the air chamber (71) and faces the rib (60), thereby exhausting the outside air of the combustion body (1) that flows into the air supply port (73) and through the air chamber (71) to the rib (60). Accordingly, the exhaust port (75) provides the outside air of the combustion body (1) to the unillustrated combustion material that is placed on the rib (60) and burned.
[0052] As illustrated in FIGS. 8 and 9, the exhaust port (75) of the air jacket (50) is formed by at least one of the upper shell (51) or the lower shell (53). As illustrated, it is preferable that the exhaust port (75) be configured to be formed by the spaced gap between the upper shell (51) and the lower shell (53). As illustrated, the exhaust port (75) is formed between the ribs (60) to provide outside air to each of the ribs (60).
[0053] As shown in FIGS. 5 and 9, the air jacket (50) is rotatably fixed to the lower part of the combustion body (1) on one side where the air supply port (73) is provided, and a handle (55) is provided on the opposite side of the end where the air supply port (73) is provided, i.e., the other end. As shown in the drawings, the air jacket (50) may rotate around the connecting pipe (73a) as the aforementioned connecting pipe (73a) is rotatably installed through the combustion body (1), or it may rotate around the hinge pin provided on one side by a conventional hinge pin not shown that penetrates the combustion body (1) in a horizontal state.
[0054] The handle (55) may be composed of a vertical plate as illustrated in FIGS. 5 and FIGS. 9. As illustrated, the handle (55) may be composed of a roughly triangular vertical plate having a neck (55a) connected to the rib (60). As illustrated, the handle (55) is engaged in the engaging hole (1a) as its lower portion is seated and supported in the engaging hole (1a) of the combustion body (1), or the engagement is released as the lower portion rises from the engaging hole (1a) by the user's grip. When the handle (55) is seated and engaged in the engaging hole (1a), the air jacket (50) is prevented from rotating as the lower portion of the handle (55) is supported in the engaging hole (1a). The air jacket (50) rotates together with the handle (55) around the connecting pipe (73a) or an unillustrated hinge pin as the handle (55) is gripped and rotated. Accordingly, the rib (60) rotates, easily dropping the material accumulated on the upper side to the lower side.
[0055] Meanwhile, as illustrated in FIG. 10, the rib (60) is provided with an elongated external air guide (61). As illustrated, the external air guide (61) is formed along the longitudinal direction of the rib (60). The external air guide (61) is formed from the center of the rib (60) to the end. Accordingly, when the rib (60) is mounted on the air jacket (50), the external air guide (61) communicates with the exhaust port (75) of the air jacket (50) to guide the external air from the exhaust port (75) or the air chamber (71) to the combustion material accumulated on the rib (60). Therefore, since the external air is supplied to the end of the rib (60) by the external air guide (61), the accumulated combustion material is combusted smoothly.
[0056] In an embodiment of the present invention configured as described above, the upper shell (51) and the lower shell (53) of the air jacket (50) are respectively installed on the upper and lower portions of the ribs (60) in a spaced-apart state, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6. At this time, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, the air jacket (50) is installed on the upper and lower portions of the ribs (60) such that the upper shell (51) and the lower shell (53) are spaced apart by the ribs (60). Accordingly, the air jacket (50) provides the exhaust port (75) of the ventilator (70) on the side between the ribs (60), as illustrated.
[0057] As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the air jacket (50) has both ends of the upper shell (51) and the lower shell (53) shielded by the foremost rib (60) having the handle (55) and the rearmost rib (60) having the air supply port (73) of the ventilator (70). As shown in FIG. 9, the air jacket (50) is shielded to allow ventilation by the air supply port (73) provided in the rearmost rib (60). As shown in FIG. 9, the air jacket (50) has the air chamber (71) of the ventilator (70) hollowly formed inside by the upper shell (51), the lower shell (53), and the foremost and rearmost ribs (60).
[0058] As shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, the lower part of the rib (60) is inserted into the insertion hole (50a) of the lower shell (53) of the air jacket (50) and fixed by welding or bolting. As shown, the rib (60) is inserted only to the depth (length) of the insertion hole (50a) and then catches on the insertion hole (50a). Therefore, the insertion depth of the rib (60) is limited by the insertion hole (50a).
[0059] As illustrated in FIGS. 5 to 7, the above air jacket (50) is fixed by welding or bolting, with the projection (60a) of the rib (60) inserted into the projection holder (51a) of the upper shell (51). At this time, as illustrated, the projection (60a) of the rib (60) catches on the projection holder (51a) of the upper shell (51). Accordingly, as illustrated, the upper shell (51) is securely separated from the lower shell (53) below because the rib (60) can no longer enter the projection holder (51a). Therefore, the upper shell (51) easily provides the exhaust port (75) of the ventilator (70) to the side.
[0060] As illustrated in FIG. 9, the air jacket (50) has a connecting pipe (73a) connected to the air supply port (73) of the ventilator (70) provided at one end. As illustrated, the connecting pipe (73a) is installed in the combustion body (1) to communicate with the outside of the combustion body (1). As illustrated, the air jacket (50) can be rotated around one end as the connecting pipe (73a) is rotatably installed in the combustion body (1).
[0061] As shown in FIG. 9, the air jacket (50) is prevented from rotating as the handle (55) at the other end is seated in the catch hole (1a) of the combustion body (1) and the lower part of the handle (55) is supported on the inner circumference of the catch hole (1a). When the air jacket (50) is rotated with the handle (55) in a raised state, it rotates together with the rib (60) around the flue pipe (73a). Accordingly, the rib (60) causes the accumulated ash of the combustion material to fall to both sides.
[0062] As shown in FIG. 9, the air jacket (50) is spaced apart from the inner surface of the combustion chamber body (1) by the spacer (51b) protruding from the rear end. Thus, the air jacket (50) can be easily rotated, and air can circulate through the spaced gap.
[0063] As illustrated in FIGS. 6 and 9, negative pressure is generated in the air jacket (50) as the lower part of the combustion body (1) is connected to a flue (not illustrated). Due to the negative pressure, the outside air from the outside of the combustion body (1) flows into the flue pipe (73a) and is supplied to the air supply port (73) as illustrated. As illustrated, the outside air flowing into the air supply port (73) is supplied to the air chamber (71) inside the air jacket (50). At this time, as illustrated, the outside air flows through the vent (60b) of the rib (60) located inside the air chamber (71). Due to the negative pressure, the outside air from the air chamber (71) is supplied to the rib (60) through the exhaust port (75) on the side. Therefore, the rib (60) allows the accumulated combustion material to burn smoothly by the outside air. Since the rib (60) forms a downward slope from the center toward both ends, the combusted ash naturally moves toward both ends due to the slope and falls.
[0064] As shown in FIG. 10, when the rib (60) is equipped with an elongated external air guide (61), the external air of the air chamber (71) is supplied along the external air guide (61) by negative pressure. Accordingly, the external air is easily supplied to the end of the rib (60) along the longitudinal direction. Therefore, even if the combustion material is excessively accumulated, the rib (60) can smoothly burn the combustion material because the external air is supplied to the end.
[0065] In the embodiment of the present invention as described above, even if a combustion material such as pellets is excessively accumulated on the upper part of the rib (60), outside air is supplied through the ventilator (70), so the accumulation of combustion material is prevented from being extinguished.
[0066] In particular, outside air flows through the air chamber (71) of the ventilator (70) along the longitudinal direction of the air jacket (50) and is discharged through the exhaust port (75) between the ribs (60), so outside air can be supplied evenly to the plurality of ribs (60) overall, and outside air can be supplied to each of the ribs (60) individually.
[0067] In addition, a downward slope is formed on the rib (60) so that the combusted ash can easily slide along the longitudinal direction of the rib (60) and thus naturally fall off, and since the rib (60) is composed of a plate-shaped stick having length, the rib (60) can be substantially in line contact with the combusted material, thereby allowing more external air to be supplied to the combusted material.
[0068] Additionally, since the air jacket (50) is composed of the upper shell (51) and the lower shell (53) with both ends shielded, the air jacket (50) can be provided in the form of a housing or tubular type having a hollow air chamber (71) inside, and since the rib (60) or the projection (60a) of the rib (60) is inserted into the insertion hole (50a) or the projection holder (51a) of the upper shell (51) and the lower shell (53), the rib (60) can be firmly fixed to the upper shell (51) and the lower shell (53), and since the rib (60) inserted into the insertion hole (50a) and the projection holder (51a) is caught on the insertion hole (50a) and the projection holder (51a), the upper shell (51) And the lower shell (53) can be easily separated to provide the exhaust port (75) of the ventilator (70).
[0069] In addition, since one side of the air jacket (50) is rotatably fixed to the combustion body (1) and the handle (55) is provided on the other side of the air jacket (50), the air jacket (50) can be rotated with the handle (55) to easily discharge the combusted ash to the side of the rib (60).
[0070] In addition, when the connecting pipe (73a) is connected to the air jacket (50), outside air can be supplied to the air chamber (71) of the air jacket (50) through the connecting pipe (73a), and furthermore, when the connecting pipe (73a) is rotatably fixed to the combustion body (1), outside air can be supplied through the connecting pipe (73a) or the air jacket (50) can be rotated around the connecting pipe (73a).
[0071] In addition, if an elongated external air guide (61) is provided along the longitudinal direction of the rib (60), the external air of the air chamber (71) can be supplied to the end of the rib (60) through the external air guide (61).
[0073] The aforementioned embodiments merely describe preferred embodiments of the present invention, and therefore the scope of application of the present invention is not limited thereto. Appropriate modifications (changes in structure or configuration, or partial omission or supplementation) are possible within the scope of the same concept as long as the essential features are satisfied.
