Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a tapping device having a chip removal function for a nut that prevents damage to the finished nut by removing chips during the tapping of the nut. Background Technology
[0003] Generally, a nut tapping device is a device that machinees internal threads on the inner surface of a nut, and it machinees internal threads on the inner surface of a nut by rotating a tap rod with a tap formed at its tip and pushing the nut so that it is continuously fitted onto the tap rod.
[0004] The above-mentioned nut tapping device supplies untapped nuts into the supply device, and the nuts are fed one by one to the clamp side through a chute.
[0005] Nuts fed into the clamp are tapped by a tap rod, and once tapping is complete, the tap rod is inserted and moves sequentially.
[0006] The nut that slides along the tap rod comes out through the bending section, and the finished nut that comes out falls into the discharge port and collects.
[0007] However, conventional nut tapping devices had a problem in that chips generated during tapping were not removed because when the nut of the tapped finished product was inserted into the tap rod and slid, the nut moved while attached to the nut.
[0008] In addition, there was a problem where the nuts of the finished product were damaged by the chips because the chips were not removed even when the nuts of the finished product were collected at the discharge port.
[0009] This resulted in not only high contamination levels at the discharge outlet but also the inconvenience of having to clean it frequently. Prior art literature

It should also be understood that the location or arrangement of individual components within each disclosed embodiment may be changed without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. Accordingly, the following detailed description is not intended to be limiting, and the scope of the invention is limited only by the appended claims, including all equivalents to those claimed therein, provided appropriately described. Similar reference numerals in the drawings refer to the same or similar functions across various aspects.
[0025] Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the drawings.
[0026] First, FIG. 1 is an overall configuration diagram of a tapping device having a chip removal function for a nut according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 2 is a planar configuration diagram of a key part of a tapping device having a chip removal function for a nut according to an embodiment of the present invention.
[0027] A tapping device (A) having a chip removal function for a nut according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a clamp (100) that supports both ends of an untapped nut (n); a pusher means (200) that presses the untapped nut (n), which descends through a chute (10), toward the clamp (100); a chip breaker (300) that removes chips remaining on the nut (N) by guiding the tapped nut (N) toward the discharge port (400) and separating the nut (N) at equal intervals; and a discharge port (400) that collects the nut (N) that slides through the chip breaker (300) and is discharged in one place.
[0028] A certain amount of untapped nuts (n) are fed into a hopper (2) installed on the upper part of the machine (1).
[0029] The hopper (2) is equipped with a chute (10) that sequentially lowers nuts (n) so that tapping can be performed on nuts (n) that have not been tapped.
[0030] The clamp (100) is located at the bottom of the chute (10) and is fixedly installed on the body (1).
[0031] The clamp (100) may include a support member (110), a hinge (120), and a return spring (130).
[0032] The above support member (110) can be positioned on the upper part of the body (1) and placed on each of the lower sides of the chute (10).
[0033] The support member (110) supports the wing portion of the nut (n) that is inserted through the chute.
[0034] The hinge (120) is coupled to the end of the support member (110) to allow the support member (110) to rotate.
[0035] That is, when a nut (n) is inserted through the chute (10), the support member (110) takes on a shape that is closed to the wing portion of the nut (n), and when a tap is formed on the nut (n) through the tap rod, the support member (110) rotates around the hinge (120) so that the nut (N) slides through the tap rod.
[0036] The above-mentioned restoring spring (130) helps the support member (110) rotate elastically and restore when rotated.
[0037] The return spring (130) may be connected to the hinge (120) to provide elasticity to the support member (110), or it may be mounted between the support member (110) and the body (1) to provide elasticity to the support member (110).
[0038] In addition, the pusher means (200) applies pressure to prevent the nut (n) supported by the clamp (100) from moving while the tapping process is being performed.
[0039] The above pusher means (200) includes a motor (210), a rod (220), and a push bar (230).
[0040] The above motor (210) is a cylinder-shaped linear motor.
[0041] The above-mentioned rod (220) moves forward and backward by the drive of a linear motor.
[0042] The above push bar (230) is fixed to the front end of the rod (220) and moves forward and backward by the driving of the motor (210).
[0043] That is, when the motor (210) is driven to move the push bar (230) toward the nut (n), the push bar (230) comes into close contact with one side of the nut (n) and applies pressure.
[0044] Accordingly, one side of the nut (n) is pressed by the push bar (230), and the wing portion of the nut (n) is supported by the support member (110) of the clamp (100), so the nut (n) does not move.
[0045] Additionally, referring to FIGS. 3 to 6, the chip breaker (300) can remove chips remaining on the nut (N) after tapping is completed by rotating the tap rod (T).
[0046] The above tap rod (T) is rotated at high speed by a rotating device (20) that rotates by the driving of a driving unit, and as it passes through the tap rod (T), a tap is machined into the inner diameter of the nut.
[0047] When the tapping process on the nut is completed, the finished nut (N) is continuously fitted onto the tap rod and slides.
[0048] At this time, chips that have not been removed may remain on the nut (N), and if the chips remain and are discharged toward the discharge port (400), the nut is not only damaged due to the chips remaining on the nut (N), but the discharge port (400) is also easily contaminated, causing a phenomenon where frequent cleaning is required.
[0049] Therefore, the remaining chips must be removed from the nut (N) after tapping is complete to prevent damage to the nut and contamination of the discharge port.
[0050] The above chip breaker (300) includes a main body (310), a passage (320), an operating hole (330), a pressure rod (340), a finishing cap (350), and an elastic spring (360).
[0051] The above main body (310) can be positioned on one side of the suit (10) and fixed to the upper part of the body (1).
[0052] The above-mentioned passage (320) can be formed horizontally through the interior of the main body (310).
[0053] A tap rod is positioned in the inner center of the moving passage (320), and the inner diameter of the moving passage (320) is formed larger than the outer diameter of the nut (N) so that the nut (N) can slide smoothly.
[0054] The above-mentioned operating hole (330) is formed through the rear end of the main body (310) so as to be orthogonal to the movement passage (320).
[0055] Screw threads may be formed on the inner surface of the outer part of the operating hole (330).
[0056] The above pressure rod (340) can be mounted inside the operating hole (330).
[0057] The pressure rod (340) is actuated by the elastic force of the elastic spring (360) and comes into contact with both sides of the wing portion of the nut (N).
[0058] The end of the pressure rod (340) can be formed to protrude slightly into the inner side of the passage (320).
[0059] The end of the pressure rod (340) that contacts the nut (N) is curved so that it makes rolling contact with the wing portion of the nut (N).
[0060] The above end cap (350) can be fastened to the threads formed in the operating hole (330).
[0061] The end cap (350) closes the outer part of the operating hole (330) so that the pressure rod (340) does not deviate to the outside of the main body (310).
[0062] The above elastic spring (360) is mounted between the pressure rod (340) and the end cap (350) to provide elasticity to the pressure rod (340).
[0063] Accordingly, the chip breaker (300) slides into the main body (310) with the tapped nut (N) inserted into the tap rod.
[0064] At this time, the nuts (N) are in close contact with each other, and the wing portion of the nut (N) located at the very front comes into rolling contact with the pressure rod (330), causing the movement of the nut (N) to stop momentarily.
[0065] A nut (N) with completed tap processing is continuously supplied through the tap rod, and the supplied nut (N) pressurizes a nut (N) located inside the passage (320).
[0066] When the pressure of the continuously supplied nut (N) exceeds the elastic force of the elastic spring (360), the nut (N) in rolling contact with the pressure rod (330) pushes the pressure rod (330) and moves forward along the tap rod at a high speed instantaneously.
[0067] During this process, the chips remaining on the nut (N) are detached by impact.
[0068] The above discharge port (400) is installed on one side of the rotating device (20) and can be installed at a lower position spaced a certain height above the rotating device (20).
[0069] The nut (N) that has completed the tapping process slides and moves through the tap rod (T), and falls into the discharge port (400) through the bent portion formed at the end of the tap rod (T) and collects.
[0070] At the bottom of the discharge port (400), a chip discharge space in the shape of a '—' or '+' can be formed, with a space large enough so that the nut (N) does not fall out downwards.
[0071] Accordingly, when the nut (N) falls through the bent portion of the tap rod (T), an impact occurs on the nut (N), and at this time, the chips remaining on the nut (N) fall off due to the impact.
[0072] The nut that falls in this way is positioned at the discharge port (400), and the chip that falls from the nut (N) falls into the chip discharge space.
[0073] Additionally, referring to FIG. 7, the chip breaker (300) includes an oil supply unit (500) that can increase the chip removal rate remaining on the nut (N).
[0074] The above oil supply unit (500) may include an elongated hole (510) and an oil supply pipe (520).
[0075] The above-mentioned elongated hole (510) can be formed through the upper part of the main body (310).
[0076] The elongated hole (510) is formed in the sliding direction of the nut (N), and oil can be supplied to the nut (N).
[0077] The above oil supply pipe (520) receives oil from an oil supply tank installed separately on the outside.
[0078] At the end of the oil supply pipe (520), a spray tip (521) is formed so that oil can be evenly sprayed onto a plurality of nuts (N), and the spray tip (521) can be formed to be long in the sliding direction of the nuts (N).
[0079] Therefore, when oil is supplied to a number of nuts (N) through the spray tip (521), when the nuts (N) pass through the chip breaker (300), chips remaining on the nuts (N) can be separated and removed more easily.
[0080] Additionally, the chip breaker (300) may include a chip discharge section (600) so that chips detached from the nut (N) can be discharged.
[0081] The above chip discharge section (600) includes a discharge hole (610) and a storage container (620).
[0082] The above discharge hole (610) can be formed in the lower part of the main body (310) in the sliding direction of the nut (N).
[0083] The discharge port (610) can be connected to the long hole (510) and the passage (320) of the oil supply unit (500).
[0084] The discharge hole (610) is formed to be longer than the length of the elongated hole (510) to facilitate the discharge of oil supplied from the oil supply unit (500) and to allow chips detached from the nut (N) to be easily discharged.
[0085] The above storage container (620) is located at the bottom of the main body (310) through which the discharge hole (610) is penetrated, and collects the detached chips.
[0086] The bottom surface of the above storage container (620) may be in the form of a mesh with a number of holes formed therein.
[0087] Accordingly, even if oil is supplied to the nut (N) through the oil supply unit (500), it flows down toward the storage tank (620), and the chips that fall off from the nut (N) get caught at the bottom of the storage tank (620), and the filtered oil is collected separately and circulated to the oil supply tank.
[0088] That is, the chip discharge section (600) may allow chips to fall off when oil is supplied to the nut (N) that slides along the passage (320), and the fallen chips can be discharged through the discharge hole (610) and collected in the storage container (620).
[0089] In addition, a sleeve is formed on the inner side of the rotating device (20) that rotates the tap rod (T), and the sleeve (30) provides a path through which the nut (N) of the finished product can move along the tap rod (T).
[0090] An elastic member (700) may be further included on the inner side of the sleeve (30).
[0091] The above elastic member (700) may have one side formed as a fixed end and the other side formed as a free end having elasticity.
[0092] Accordingly, the nut (N) passing through the inside of the sleeve (30) moves while pushing against the elastic member (700), and through the process of the elastic member (700) being deformed and restored, the nut (N) of the finished product is struck once more to remove the chip in a second step.
[0093] Therefore, even if a number of nuts (N) are irregularly gathered in the discharge port (400), damage to the nuts (N) can be prevented.
[0094] Additionally, referring to FIG. 8, small chips may be attached to the nut (N) that passes through the chip breaker (300) and moves toward the discharge port (400), and the front of the chip breaker (300) may include a nut cleaner (800).
[0095] The above nut cleaning unit (800) includes a guide body (810) and a brush (820).
[0096] The above guide body (810) can be divided into a fixed body (811) and a rotating body (812).
[0097] The above-mentioned rotating body (812) is configured to rotate around an axis so that the brush (820) can be easily detached.
[0098] A fixing projection (811a) is formed on the lower part of the fixed body (811), and a fixing hook (812a) having its own elasticity to be fixed to the fixing projection (811a) may be formed on the end of the rotating body (812).
[0099] Therefore, when the finished product's nut (N) passes through the nut cleaner (800), the brush (820) wipes away fine iron filings and small chips remaining on the nut (N). Accordingly, even if the nut (N) falls into the discharge port (400), damage to the nut can be effectively prevented.
[0100] Although preferred embodiments of the present invention have been illustrated and described above, the present invention is not limited to the specific embodiments described above. Various modifications are possible by those skilled in the art without departing from the essence of the invention as claimed in the claims, and such modifications should not be understood individually from the technical spirit or perspective of the present invention.
