By repeating this advancement operation, the insertion operation of the medical long object can be performed with one hand. Prior art literature
[0004] Japanese Patent Publication No. Hei 10-295821 The problem to be solved
[0005] However, in conventional insertion aids, the distance a long medical object travels with a single forward operation is short, so the number of forward operations required for inserting the long medical object increases. Because of this, there is a problem that it is difficult to perform the insertion of the long medical object.
[0006] Therefore, the present invention aims to provide an insertion aid capable of improving the operability of inserting a long medical object. means of solving the problem
[0007] To achieve the above objective, the present invention provides an insertion aid for inserting a long medical object into a medical device, comprising: a main body portion having a sliding surface on which the long medical object slides by operation by a thumb; an insertion tube portion disposed at the front end of the main body portion and inserted into the medical device; a first finger hook portion for hooking an index finger and a second finger hook portion for hooking a middle finger are formed on the side opposite to the sliding surface of the main body portion; the sliding surface is formed across the first finger hook portion and the second finger hook portion in the sliding direction of the long medical object; and a finger hook notch portion for hooking the middle finger is formed only at one end portion in the width direction perpendicular to the sliding direction of the main body portion. Specific details for implementing the invention
[0010] Hereinafter, an insertion aid according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the attached drawings. This insertion aid is a medical insertion aid that assists in the insertion of a long medical object into a medical device and has a configuration that allows for insertion operation with one hand. In particular, the main body of this insertion aid is shaped to facilitate insertion operation with one hand. Furthermore, as shown in each drawing below, the left-right, front-back, and up-down directions will be defined and described. In addition, in this embodiment, the left-right direction coincides with the sliding direction (transfer direction) of the long medical object, and the leading edge of the sliding direction of the long medical object is on the left, and the leading edge of the sliding direction of the long medical object is on the right.
[0011] (Composition of insertion aid)
[0012] As shown in FIG. 1, the insertion aid (1) is integrally provided with a plate-shaped main body (11) having a sliding surface (51) on which a long medical object (2) slides by operation by a thumb (6a), an insertion tube (12) positioned on the left side (front side) of the main body (11) and inserted into a medical device (3), and a base side support (13) positioned on the right side (base side) of the main body (11) and supporting the long medical object (2). With the insertion tube (12) inserted into the medical device (3), the long medical object (2) is moved toward the insertion tube (12) side by sliding it relative to the main body (11) by operation by a thumb (6a), thereby inserting the long medical object (2) into the medical device (3) through the front opening of the insertion tube (12).
[0013] The medical long object (2) is a medical tube or a medical wire such as a guide wire, and in this embodiment, the medical long object (2) is assumed to be, for example, a catheter through which a guide wire is inserted (especially a micro catheter with an inner diameter of 1 mm or less). Meanwhile, the medical device (3) is a medical tube or a medical connector, and in this embodiment, the medical device (3) is assumed to be, for example, a connector equipped with a hemostatic valve installed at the base of the catheter.
[0014] As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the insertion tube (12) has a cylindrical tube body (21) having an inner cavity, a slit (22) formed on the front side of the tube body (21), and a notch (23) formed by cutting the right end of the tube body (21) in an arc shape. The outer surface and inner cavity of the tube body (21) are formed so that the base side is larger than the tip side, and the configuration is such that it is easy to introduce a long medical object (2) and easy to insert into a medical device (3).
[0015] The slit (22) extends from the outer surface of the tube body (21) to the inner cavity in the diameter direction of the tube body (21), and is formed across the entire axial direction of the tube body (21). When removing the insertion aid (1) from the medical long object (2) while the medical long object (2) is inserted into the medical device (3), the insertion aid (1) is moved to the rear (inside of the ground in FIG. 1) to remove the medical long object (2) from the slit (22) and the insertion tube (12) is separated from the medical long object (2). Additionally, as shown in FIG. 4 (a), both inner surfaces (22a, 22a) of the slit (22) are shaped to be widened and opened (slanted) outward in the vertical direction toward the outer side in the diameter direction.
[0016] As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the notch (23) is formed by being cut into an arc shape to follow the trajectory of the thumb (6a) when sliding the medical long object (2) by the operation of the thumb (6a). By doing so, when sliding the medical long object (2) relative to the main body (11) by the operation of the thumb (6a), the thumb (6a) can be prevented from getting caught on the main body (21).
[0017] The base side support member (13) has an insertion through-hole (32) through which a long medical object (2) is inserted and penetrated, and a first claw part (33) and a second claw part (34) protruding in the direction of the groove width from the inner edge of the insertion through-hole (32).
[0018] The insertion through-groove (32) is formed as a groove extending in the left and right directions with the front side as the opening side, and by introducing a long medical object (2) into the insertion through-groove (32), the long medical object (2) is supported inside. By means of the said insertion through-groove (32), the long medical object (2) is supported at a position on the base side (right side) of the main body (11) and at an intermediate position in the upper and lower directions of the insertion aid (1).
[0019] As shown in FIG. 4(b), the first claw portion (33) is formed to protrude downward from the upper inner edge of the insertion through-hole (32). Meanwhile, the second claw portion (34) is formed to protrude upward from the lower inner edge of the insertion through-hole (32). By providing the claw portions (33, 34) on the inner edge of the insertion through-hole (32), it is possible to prevent the long medical object (2) from slipping out from the opening side of the insertion through-hole (32). In particular, the insertion aid (1) is intended to be used in a form where the insertion through-hole (32) faces sideways, and there is a risk that the long medical object (2) inside the insertion through-hole (32) will slide forward and slip out of the insertion through-hole (32). In contrast, by providing a claw portion (33, 34) on the inner edge of the insertion through-hole (32), the claw portion (33, 34) becomes a part that catches when the long medical object (2) slides forward, thereby preventing it from slipping out of the insertion through-hole (32).
[0020] Additionally, the rear surface (33a, 34a) of the claw (33, 34) (the surface on the bottom side of the insertion through groove (32)) is a sloped surface that slopes downward toward the front side (the opening side of the insertion through groove (32)) toward the tip side of the claw (33, 34). By doing so, the long medical object (2) can be easily detached from the insertion through groove (32).
[0021] (Composition of the main body)
[0022] As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the main body (11) is formed in a plate shape with the vertical direction as the width direction and the front-rear direction as the thickness direction, and the front surface is a sliding surface (51) for sliding a long medical object (2), and the rear surface (the side opposite to the sliding surface (51)) is a finger hook surface (52) for hooking a worker's finger.
[0023] The finger hook (52) is divided into two parts on the left and right by a first finger hook (61) for hooking the index finger (6b) and a second finger hook (62) for hooking the middle finger (6c), and as shown in FIG. 5 (a), it is configured to allow the index finger (6b) and the middle finger (6c) to be hooked simultaneously. That is, the length of the first finger hook (61) in the left-right direction is set to include the average thickness (about 14mm) of the index finger (6b), and the length of the second finger hook (62) in the left-right direction is set to include the average thickness (about 15mm) of the middle finger (6c). Therefore, it is preferable that the length of the finger hook (52) in the left-right direction be 14mm or more and 40mm or less, and it is more preferable that it be 19mm or more and 35mm or less.
[0024] As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the sliding surface (51) is formed across the first finger hook portion (61) and the second finger hook portion (62) in the left-right direction (sliding direction). In detail, the sliding surface (51) extends from the left end of the first finger hook portion (61) to the right end of the second finger hook portion (62) in the left-right direction. In other words, the sliding surface (51) extends from the right end to the left end of the finger hook surface (52) capable of simultaneously hooking the index finger (6b) and the middle finger (6c) in the left-right direction (sliding direction).
[0025] Additionally, the sliding surface (51) is located in the central part of the vertical direction and is composed of a first sliding section (71) on which a long medical object (2) slides, and a second sliding section (72, 72) located above and below the first sliding section (71) on which a thumb (6a) slides. The first sliding section (71) and the second sliding section (72, 72) are formed across the first finger hook section (61) and the second finger hook section (62) in the left and right direction (sliding direction).
[0026] In this way, the finger gripping surface (52) has a first finger gripping part (61) and a second finger gripping part (62), and the sliding moving surface (51) is formed across the first finger gripping part (61) and the second finger gripping part (62), so that the stroke of the operation to slide the medical long object (2) by moving the thumb (6a) from right to left can be extended as shown in FIG. 5 (a). In addition, the sliding moving surface (51) has a first sliding moving part (71) and a second sliding moving part (72), so that the medical long object (2) can be slid by the first sliding moving part (71) while being held and supported by the thumb (6a), index finger (6b), and middle finger (6c) by the second sliding moving part (72).
[0027] In addition, it is preferable that the vertical width of the sliding surface (51) be 10 mm or more. In addition, it is preferable that the horizontal length of the sliding surface (51) (first sliding part (71) and second sliding part (72)) be 14 mm or more and 40 mm or less, and more preferable that it be 19 mm or more and 35 mm or less.
[0028] In the first sliding moving part (71), a shallow groove-shaped guide groove (73) is formed concavely, extending in the left and right directions to guide a long medical object (2) toward the inner cavity of the insertion tube (12). The guide groove (73) extends from the interior of the base side support part (13) (the bottom of the groove of the insertion through groove (32)) to the inner cavity of the insertion tube (12) (the tube body (21) of the tube), and is formed as an arc hole when viewed from the left and right directions, as shown in (c) of FIG. 4. In addition, the inner surface (73a, 73a) of the guide groove (73) is an inclined surface that slopes downward toward the bottom of the groove in the direction of the groove width, and the depth of the guide groove (73) in the front and rear directions is less than or equal to the radius of the long medical object (2).
[0029] In order to slide the medical long object (2), when the medical long object (2) is pushed into the guide groove (73) with the thumb (6a), the medical long object (2) is guided along the slope of the inner surface (73a, 73a) of the guide groove (73) and moves to the bottom of the guide groove (73), and thereafter, the vertical movement of the medical long object (2) is restricted by said inner surface (73a, 73a). Since the position of the bottom of the guide groove (73) coincides with the position of the inner cavity of the insertion tube (12) (the tube body (21) of the tube), when the operation to slide the medical long object (2) is performed with the thumb (6a) in this state, the medical long object (2) is guided into the inner cavity of the insertion tube (12) by the guide groove (73). Additionally, it is preferable that the depth of the guide groove (73) in the front-rear direction be less than half the radius of the medical long object (2). Furthermore, it is preferable to match the height of the bottom of the guide groove (73) in the front-rear direction to the height of the rear inner surface of the tube body (21) in the front-rear direction so that no step or steep slope is formed between the bottom of the guide groove (73) and the rear inner surface of the tube body (21).
[0030] In addition, it is preferable to perform embossing on the surface of the second sliding moving part (72). With this configuration, the material of the glove worn by the worker can be prevented from sticking to the surface of the second sliding moving part (72).
[0031] Additionally, at the lower end (one end in the width direction) of the main body (11), a finger hook notch (53) is formed by cutting from the center in the left-right direction to the left end, and is formed to hook the middle finger (6c). In this embodiment, as shown in FIG. 5 (b), it is assumed that the insertion aid (1) is used in a position where the upper and lower directions follow the vertical direction, and the main body (11) is supported from below by the distal end of the middle finger (6c) while hooking the base (or middle) of the middle finger (6c) onto the second finger hook part (62). At this time, the finger hook notch (53) is formed so that the main body (11) can be stably supported by the distal end of the middle finger (6c). Also, the finger hook notch (53) is an example of a third finger hook part.
[0032] Additionally, the right end wall surface (inner side of the base side of the sliding direction) of the finger hook notch (53) is formed as a hook surface (hook portion) on which the middle finger (6c) is hooked in the left and right directions (sliding direction). By doing so, when the long medical object (2) is slid with the thumb (6a), the insertion aid (1) that attempts to move along in the left direction (front side of the sliding direction) can be pressed with the middle finger (6c), thereby further improving the operability of the insertion operation of the long medical object (2).
[0033] (Explanation of the insertion operation of a long medical object in an insertion aid)
[0034] Next, with reference to FIG. 5, the insertion operation of a medical long object (2) in the insertion aid (1) will be described. This insertion operation is assumed to be performed by a worker wearing gloves on their hands. As shown in FIG. 5 (a) and (b), in this insertion operation, the medical long object (2) is first introduced into the insertion through-groove (32) of the base side support (13) and placed at the position of the guide groove (73) of the main body (11). Then, while gripping the index finger (6b), the middle finger (6c)'s terminal portion (or middle portion) and the middle finger (6c)'s terminal portion respectively on the first finger grip portion (61), the second finger grip portion (62), and the finger grip notch portion (53), the thumb (6a) is pushed against the second sliding moving portion (72), and the medical long object (2) is pushed against the first sliding moving portion (71) with the thumb (6a). By doing so, the medical long object (2) is held and supported on the guide groove (73) while the main body portion (11) is fitted and supported, and the insertion aid (1) is grasped with one hand. When the insertion aid (1) is grasped, the insertion tube portion (12) is inserted into the medical device (3). At this time, if the medical device (3) is a connector equipped with a hemostatic valve, the valve body of the hemostatic valve is pushed open and inserted through the insertion tube (12).
[0035] After that, as shown in FIG. 5 (a), the main body (11) is supported by the thumb (6a), index finger (6b), and middle finger (6c) to hold the medical long object (2) on the guide groove (73), and the thumb (6a) is moved from the base (right end) to the tip (left end) of the sliding surface (51) to perform the operation of sliding the medical long object (2). Then, by repeating the operation of sliding the medical long object (2), the medical long object (2) is advanced and inserted into the medical device (3). In addition, when the insertion of the medical long object (2) into the medical device (3) has progressed to a certain extent, the insertion aid (1) is held with the left hand holding the medical device (3), and the medical long object (2) is directly held with the right hand to perform the insertion. In this case, the insertion aid (1) and the long medical object (2) are supported by the thumb and index finger of the left hand holding the medical device (3), and then the right hand is separated from the insertion aid (1) to hold the long medical object (2) with the right hand.
[0036] (Action and Effect of the Embodiment)
[0037] According to the configuration of the above embodiment, the finger hook surface (52) has a first finger hook portion (61) and a second finger hook portion (62), and the sliding moving surface (51) is formed across the first finger hook portion (61) and the second finger hook portion (62). As shown in FIG. 5 (a), the part in which the medical long object (2) in the main body (11) can slide can be extended by using the index finger (6b) and middle finger (6c) as supports, thereby extending the stroke of the operation to slide the medical long object (2) by moving the thumb (6a) from right to left. By doing so, the number of operations for the insertion operation of the medical long object (2) can be reduced, and the operability of the insertion operation of the medical long object (2) can be improved.
[0038] In addition, according to the configuration of the above embodiment, by configuring the index finger (6b) and the middle finger (6c) to be simultaneously gripped on the finger gripping surface (52), the insertion aid (1) can be stably held and supported by the thumb (6a), index finger (6b), and middle finger (6c), thereby allowing the insertion operation to be performed while the insertion aid (1) is stably held and supported. Accordingly, the operability of the insertion operation of the long medical object (2) can be improved, particularly when the insertion aid (1) is used in a position where the up and down direction of the insertion aid (1) follows the vertical direction.
[0039] In addition, according to the configuration of the above embodiment, by extending the sliding surface (51) in the left and right directions (sliding direction), the contact area of the medical long object (2) with the sliding surface (51) can be increased. By doing so, damage to the medical long object (2) (e.g., deformation of the microcatheter, etc.) when the medical long object (2) is slid along the sliding surface (51) can be suppressed.
[0040] In addition, according to the configuration of the above embodiment, by adopting a configuration in which the medical long object (2) slides using a main body part (11) to perform the insertion operation of the medical long object (2), the medical long object (2) can be advanced while holding and supporting the medical long object (2) and the insertion aid (1) with one hand. By doing so, the insertion operation of the medical long object (2) can be performed with one hand. By doing so, the insertion operation can be performed from the state after inserting the insertion aid (1) into the medical device (3). That is, in the conventional configuration, since it was necessary to switch hands after inserting the insertion aid (1) into the medical device (3), when the medical device (3) is a connector equipped with a hemostatic valve and the medical long object (2) is a catheter, there were cases where the medical long object (2) was pushed back due to blood pressure, making it difficult to insert the medical long object (2). In contrast, since the insertion operation of the medical long object (2) can be performed with one hand, there is no need to change the medical long object (2) after inserting the insertion aid (1) into the medical device (3). Because of this, the situation where the medical long object (2) is pushed back due to blood pressure can be avoided. In addition, even when changing the medical long object (2), since the medical device (3) and the main body (11) are located close to each other in the state after the insertion aid (1) is inserted into the medical device (3), the insertion aid (1) and the medical long object (2) can be held in place by the thumb (6a) and index finger (6b) of the left hand holding the medical device (3), so that the medical long object (2) is prevented from being pushed back when changing the medical long object (2).
[0041] In addition, according to the configuration of the above embodiment, by providing a finger-hooking notch (53), the main body (11) can be stably supported by the distal end of the middle finger (6c) when the insertion aid (1) is used in a position where its vertical direction follows the vertical direction. As a result, the insertion aid (1) can be stably held and supported, allowing for stable insertion operation with one hand.
[0042] In addition, according to the configuration of the above embodiment, by providing a second sliding moving part (72, 72) on which the thumb (6a) slides above and below the first sliding moving part (71) on which the long medical object (2) slides, the long medical object (2) can be slidably moved from the first sliding moving part (71) while being held and supported by the thumb (6a), index finger (6b), and middle finger (6c) in the second sliding moving part (72, 72). By doing so, the insertion aid (1) can be held and supported more stably, allowing for a more stable insertion operation with one hand.
[0043] In addition, according to the configuration of the above embodiment, the right side (body part (11) side) of the insertion tube (12) (tube body (21)) is cut into an arc shape to follow the trajectory of the thumb (6a) when sliding the medical long object (2) relative to the body part (11) by operation by the thumb (6a), thereby preventing the thumb (6a) from being caught by interference with the insertion tube (12) (tube body (21)).
[0044] In addition, according to the configuration of the above embodiment, by providing a slit (22) across the entire axial direction of the insertion tube (12), the insertion aid (1) can be easily detached from the medical long object (2) when the medical long object (2) is inserted into the medical device (3).
[0045] In addition, according to the configuration of the above embodiment, by making the side where the sliding surface (51) of the main body (11) is formed and the side where the slit (22) of the insertion tube (12) (tube main body (21)) is formed the same side, when performing the insertion operation of the medical long object (2), the medical long object (2) is pushed from the opposite side (rear side) to the side where the slit (22) is formed, so that the medical long object (2) can be prevented from unintentionally coming out of the slit (22).
[0046] (Regarding other embodiments)
[0047] Although embodiments of the present invention have been described above, such embodiments do not limit the invention covered by the claims. Furthermore, it should be noted that not all combinations of features described in the embodiments are essential to the means of solving the problem of the invention. The present invention may be implemented with appropriate modifications within the scope of not departing from its spirit.
[0048] For example, in the above embodiment, the lower part of the main body (11) is cut from the center of the left-right direction to the left end, and the finger hook notch (53) is formed by extending from the center of the left-right direction to the left end. However, as shown in FIG. 6 (a), the lower part of the main body (11) is cut in an arch shape from the center of the left-right direction, and the finger hook notch (53) is formed only in the center of the left-right direction. Additionally, as shown in FIG. 6 (b), the finger hook notch (53) may be formed on both the upper and lower parts of the main body (11).
[0049] Additionally, as shown in FIG. 6(c), the configuration may be such that a hook portion (53a) is formed protruding downwardly in the finger hook notch portion (53). Additionally, as shown in FIG. 6(d), the configuration may be such that a hook portion (52b) is formed protruding backwardly in the finger hook surface (52) of the main body portion (11). In this case, it is preferable that the hook portion (52b) be provided between the first finger hook portion (61) and the second finger hook portion (62).
[0050] In addition, in the above embodiment, the inner surface (22a) of the slit (22) of the insertion tube (12) was configured to be expanded and opened (slanted) outward in the vertical direction toward the outer side in the radial direction, but it is not limited to this. For example, as shown in FIG. 7 (a), it may be configured to be expanded and opened inward in the radial direction. Also, as shown in FIG. 7 (b) and FIG. 7 (c), the inner surface (22a) of the slit (22) may be configured to be formed in a stepped shape.
[0051] In addition, in the above embodiment, the slit (22) was formed in a straight shape, but in order to prevent the long medical object (2) from unintentionally slipping out of the slit (22), the slit (22) may be formed by bending it in a circumferential direction. For example, a portion of the slit (22) may be curved or bent in a circumferential direction so that it is located on the front side at the base side of the insertion tube (12) and on the lower side at the tip side of the insertion tube (12).
[0052] In addition, in the above embodiment, the slit (22) is formed on the front side of the insertion tube (12) (tube body (21)), but it is not limited to this. For example, the slit (22) may be formed on the upper side of the insertion tube (12) (tube body (21)), or the slit (22) may be formed on the lower side of the insertion tube (12) (tube body (21)). In addition, the slit (22) may be omitted.
[0053] Additionally, in the above embodiment, as a method of using the insertion aid (1), the index finger (6b) is hooked onto the first finger hook (61) and the middle finger (6c) is hooked onto the second finger hook (62), but it may also be used by hooking the middle finger (6c) onto the first finger hook (61) and the ring finger onto the second finger hook (62).
[0054] In addition, in the above embodiment, a configuration in which a catheter with a guide wire inserted through it is inserted into a medical device (3) is exemplified as a long medical object (2), but it is not limited thereto. For example, a configuration in which a guide wire is inserted into a medical device (3) as a long medical object (2) may also be used.
