Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a safety control system for a power gate mounted on a vehicle, and more specifically, to a power gate safety control system that detects in real time the rotation angle of a step plate (platform) rotatably coupled to a gate body, blocks the opening and closing operation of the step plate and the lifting and lowering operation of the gate in stages according to a set angle range, and includes a dual approval release structure that requires simultaneous operation of a dual operation switch and a remote control when the blocked state is released. Background Technology
[0003] Power Gate is a device mounted at the rear of a cargo vehicle that overcomes the height difference between the ground and the vehicle's cargo compartment and electrically lifts cargo. It was developed to reduce the physical burden on workers and improve work efficiency during the unloading of heavy cargo, alongside the rapid growth of the logistics and transportation industry, and is currently being widely applied to cargo vehicles in various industrial sectors such as courier services, food, building materials, and medical devices.
[0004] Power gates are structured to raise and lower the gate body via hydraulic cylinders using an electric hydraulic motor as a power source, and their scope of application is continuously expanding as a heavy-duty device capable of safely handling heavy cargo.
[0005] The step plate, which is one of the core components of the power gate, is connected to the bottom of the gate body with a hinge structure and functions as a step that a worker steps on directly when moving cargo. It has a rotating structure that unfolds horizontally when unloading cargo and folds vertically to be stored when the vehicle is moving.
[0006] The step plate is a structure that directly supports the combined load of workers and cargo, and at the same time, as a movable part that operates in conjunction with the lifting and lowering movements of the gate, its operating state is directly linked to the safety of the entire power gate. In particular, the rotation angle of the step plate is an important criterion for determining whether the power gate is operating normally, and if the gate operates while the step plate is excessively open beyond the allowable range, it can lead to serious safety accidents such as collisions between structures, falls by workers, and damage to equipment.
[0007] Accordingly, as research on systems for safely controlling power gates is actively underway, for example, Registered Patent No. 10-1755493 (Registration Date: July 3, 2017), cited herein as a prior art, discloses a control system for an electric tailgate, comprising: a tailgate rotatably installed on a vehicle body on one side as shown in FIG. 1; a moving member connected to the other side of the tailgate; a spindle screw-fastened to the moving member; a lift motor arranged to rotate the spindle; and a control unit configured to control the rotation of the lift motor, wherein when the control unit determines that the tailgate is fully open, it electrically connects the positive terminal and the negative terminal of the power side of the lift motor to short-circuit them, and when the control unit detects a signal to operate the lift motor, it releases the short circuit.
[0008] However, prior art only determines whether the tailgate is fully open in a dichotomous manner, and the motor short circuit is merely a simple on / off control. Therefore, there is a risk that if the gate operates to lift when the step plate is excessively open beyond the allowable angle, accidents such as collision with the structure, entrapment of workers, and falls may occur.
[0009] In addition, in the prior art, safety functions can be deactivated by operating a single switch of a handle switch or a power switch, which may lead to accidents caused by the unintended deactivation of safety functions due to operator error or negligence. Prior art literature
[0011] Registered Patent No. 10-1755493 (Registration Date: July 3, 2017) The problem to be solved
[0012] The present invention was developed to solve the problems of the aforementioned prior art, and aims to provide a power gate safety control system with a multi-stage safety interlock structure that detects the rotation angle of a step plate rotatably coupled to the gate body of a power gate in real time, and blocks the opening and closing operation of the step plate and the lifting operation of the gate in stages according to a plurality of angle intervals set based on the detected angle information.
[0013] In addition, the present invention aims to provide a power gate safety control system having a dual approval release structure in which a dual-hand operation switch and a remote control are operated simultaneously to release the power gate when the safety interlock is activated and the power gate's function is blocked.
[0014] Although the problem to be solved by the present invention has been described in detail, it should be noted that in addition to the aforementioned purpose, incidental purposes accompanying the achievement of the aforementioned purpose are also included within the scope of the present invention, and that achieving the aforementioned purpose partially is not necessarily required to achieve all purposes. means of solving the problem
[0016] In a preferred embodiment of the present invention, to solve the above-described problem, the power gate safety control system comprises: an opening angle detection unit that detects the rotation angle of the step plate in real time and outputs angle information; an operation input unit that receives an operation signal from an operator; a vehicle drive unit that drives the opening and closing operation of the step plate and the lifting operation of the gate according to the operation signal; and a control unit that controls the vehicle drive unit to execute an interlock based on the angle information transmitted from the opening angle detection unit and the operation signal input from the operation input unit, wherein the opening and closing operation of the step plate is blocked when the angle of the step plate reaches a first reference angle, and the lifting operation of the gate body is additionally blocked when the angle of the step plate reaches a second section that is greater than or equal to a second reference angle, wherein the control unit includes a double approval release structure that releases the blocked state only when a plurality of operation means of the operation input unit are simultaneously operated to release the blocked state caused by the interlock.
[0017] In addition, in the above-described embodiment, the operation input unit preferably includes a positive-hand operation switch that outputs an operation signal only while the operator continuously presses it; and a driving operation unit that generates operation signals for opening, closing, raising, and lowering the gate wirelessly or via a wire.
[0018] In addition, in the above-described embodiment, the control unit preferably includes: a driving control logic that drives and controls the vehicle driving unit according to the operation signal of the driving operation unit; a section determination logic that classifies a plurality of angle sections based on angle information transmitted from the opening angle detection unit, including a first safety section in which the rotation angle of the step plate is greater than or equal to a first threshold angle and less than a second threshold angle, and a second safety section in which the rotation angle is greater than or equal to a second threshold angle; an interlock control logic that, according to the classification result of the section determination logic, executes a first interlock that blocks a control signal for the opening and closing operation of the step plate in the first safety section and executes a second interlock that additionally blocks a control signal for the lifting operation of the gate in the second safety section; and a double approval release logic that releases the blocking state caused by the first interlock or the second interlock only when the operation signal of the driving operation unit is simultaneously input while the operation signal of the two-hand operation switch is continuously maintained, wherein if the operation signal of the two-hand operation switch is interrupted, the release condition is immediately extinguished and the blocking state is reapplied.
[0019] In addition, in the above-described embodiment, the vehicle drive unit preferably includes: a step plate opening / closing drive unit that drives the opening and closing operation of the step plate according to the operation signal and whose control signal is blocked by a first interlock of the interlock control logic; and a gate lifting drive unit that drives the raising and lowering operation of the gate according to the operation signal and whose control signal is blocked by a second interlock of the interlock control logic.
[0020] In addition, in the above-described embodiment, the operation input unit further includes an emergency release switch that forcibly operates all driving functions of the power gate, including the interlock of the control unit, and the control unit further includes an emergency release logic that prioritizes releasing the entire interlock upon input of the emergency release switch.
[0021] In addition, in the above-described embodiment, the power gate safety control system preferably further includes an interlock warning unit that outputs one of a visual warning signal, an auditory warning signal, a tactile warning signal, and a warning message corresponding to each of the interlocks when the first interlock or the second interlock of the control unit is executed. Effects of the invention
[0023] According to the power gate safety control system of the present invention, collisions between structures, worker entrapment, and fall accidents that may occur when the gate operates while the step plate is excessively opened beyond the allowable range can be prevented in advance by means of a multi-stage safety interlock structure.
[0024] In addition, by subdividing the angle section of the step plate into multiple stages and setting different allowable ranges of motion for each section, sophisticated and flexible safety control corresponding to the actual rotational state of the step plate is realized, thereby ensuring a high level of safety without compromising operational convenience at the work site.
[0025] In addition, it can enhance the reliability of safety maintenance by preventing the unintended disengagement of safety functions due to operator error or negligence, and ensuring that the safety cutoff state is released only when the operator performs active and intentional operation.
[0026] Although the effects obtained by the present invention have been described in detail, it should be noted that in addition to the effects described above, incidental effects obtained in the process of achieving the effects described above are also included within the scope of the effects of the present invention, and it is not necessary to obtain all effects, but rather it is based on the premise that at least a part of the effects described above is obtained. [0034] Hereinafter, a power gate safety control system according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 2 to 5.
[0035] Referring to FIG. 2, a power gate safety control system according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention may be configured to include a vehicle (100), an operation input unit (200), a control unit (300), a vehicle driving unit (400), an opening angle detection unit (500), and an interlock warning unit (600). Since the operation of the power gate safety control system according to an embodiment of the present invention operates sequentially by transmitting and receiving signals or control signals along the direction indicated by the arrow in FIG. 2, the following description regarding the system includes a description of the operation process.

Meanwhile, the term 'part' is not limited to software or hardware; the 'part' may be configured to reside in an addressable storage medium or configured to run on one or more processors. Thus, as an example, the 'part' includes components such as software components, object-oriented software components, class components, and task components, as well as processes, functions, attributes, procedures, subroutines, segments of program code, drivers, firmware, microcode, circuits, data, databases, data structures, tables, arrays, and variables.
[0037] The functions provided within the components and 'parts' can be combined into a smaller number of components and 'parts' or further separated into additional components and 'parts'.
[0038] First, the vehicle (100) equipped with the power gate safety control system according to the present invention may be a cargo transport vehicle having a power gate installed at the rear for loading and unloading cargo, for example, as shown in FIG. 3, which includes a gate (120) and a step plate (110).
[0039] Power gates are devices that overcome the height difference between the ground and the cargo compartment of a vehicle and electrically lift cargo, and are widely applied to cargo vehicles in various industrial fields such as courier services, food, construction materials, and medical equipment.
[0040] As shown in FIG. 4, the step plate (110) is a step structure connected to the bottom of the gate (120) by a hinge structure and configured to rotate between a folded position and an unfolded position. The step plate (110) has a structure that unfolds horizontally to directly support the combined load of the worker and the cargo when unloading cargo, and folds vertically to be stored when the vehicle is in motion. In the present invention, as shown in FIG. 3, the state in which the step plate (110) is vertically stored in the folded position is defined as a reference (90°), and the state in which it is fully unfolded horizontally is defined as 180°. For example, a section of 175° or more as a first reference angle is set as a first safety section, and a section of 180° or more as a second reference angle that opens excessively beyond this is set as a second safety section. Thus, the 90° to 175° range is a normal section where both the opening and closing of the step plate (110) and the lifting and lowering of the gate (120) are allowed, the 175° to 180° range is a first safety section where the opening and closing of the step plate (110) is blocked and the lifting and lowering of the gate (120) is allowed, and the 180° range is a second safety section where both the opening and closing of the step plate (110) and the lifting and lowering of the gate (120) are blocked. That is, when the gate (120) operates to lift when the step plate (110) is excessively opened beyond the allowable range, it can lead to serious safety accidents such as collision between structures, worker entrapment, and falls, so it is desirable to apply a step-by-step safety interlock according to the present invention.
[0041] As shown in FIG. 5, the gate (120) is a structure mounted to be vertically movable using an electric hydraulic motor as a power source at the rear of the vehicle (100), and moves vertically between the ground and the vehicle cargo compartment through a hydraulic cylinder to form a lifting path for cargo. The gate (120) is driven by the gate lifting drive unit (420) of the vehicle drive unit (400) described later, and the lifting operation can be blocked in stages by the interlock control logic (330) of the control unit (300).
[0042] The operation input unit (200) is an operation means that generates an operation signal corresponding to the operator's operation and inputs it to the control unit (300), and may be configured to include a positive hand operation switch (210), a driving operation unit (220), and an emergency release switch (230). Each operation means operates independently of each other, but it is preferable that for the release of the interlock blocking state, the release condition is established only when the positive hand operation switch (210) and the driving operation unit (220) are operated simultaneously.
[0043] The dual-hand operation switch (210) is a switch that outputs an operation signal only while the operator is continuously pressing it, and serves as a means to verify in real time whether the operator is actively and intentionally operating it. The dual-hand operation switch (210) is preferably installed, for example, near the rear of the passenger seat of the vehicle adjacent to the gate drive motor, and has a structure in which the operation signal is immediately stopped the moment the operator removes their hand from the switch, the release condition is extinguished, and the interlock blocking state is reapplied, thereby preventing unintended release of the safety function due to the operator's carelessness or misoperation.
[0044] The drive operation unit (220) is a switching box, for example, a remote control type of operation device that generates operation signals for opening, closing, raising, and lowering of the gate (120) wirelessly or via wire, and is a means for an operator to operate each drive operation of the gate as needed. The drive operation unit (220) is in an interlock-blocked state, and the double approval release logic of the control unit (300) is activated only when the operation signal of the drive operation unit (220) is simultaneously input while the operation signal of the positive operation switch (210) is continuously maintained, thereby releasing the blocking state; and when the operation signal of the positive operation switch (210) is interrupted, the release condition is immediately extinguished regardless of the operation signal of the drive operation unit (220), and the blocking state is reapplied.
[0045] The emergency release switch (230) is an emergency means for forcibly operating all driving functions of the power gate, including the interlock of the control unit (300), in the event of a malfunction or emergency situation of the safety control system. The emergency release switch (230) has priority release authority over the entire interlock regardless of the dual approval release structure, and in conjunction with the emergency release logic (340) of the control unit (300) described later, the entire interlock is immediately released upon input of the emergency release switch (230), thereby switching to a state where all driving functions of the gate can operate normally.
[0046] The control unit (300) is configured to include drive control logic (310), section determination logic (320), interlock control logic (330), and emergency release logic (340), and receives angle information of the step plate transmitted in real time from the opening angle detection unit and an operation signal of the operator input from the operation input unit, executes an interlock that blocks the operation of the power gate step by step according to a plurality of set angle sections, and implements a double approval release structure that releases the blocking state only when a plurality of operation means of the operation input unit are operated simultaneously.
[0047] When the drive control logic (310) receives an operation signal from the operator input unit (200), it controls the vehicle drive unit (400) to perform the opening and closing operation of the step plate (110) and the lifting operation of the gate (120) according to the operation signal, and when a blocking signal is input from the interlock control logic (330), it stops the output of the control signal for the operation to stop the operation of the vehicle drive unit, and resumes normal drive control only when the blocking state is released.
[0048] The section determination logic (320) determines which of the set angle sections the current angle of the step plate (110) corresponds to, based on the angle information of the step plate transmitted in real time from the opening angle detection unit (500). For example, it determines whether the angle of the step plate (110) corresponds to a first safety section that is greater than or equal to a first reference angle (175°) or a second safety section that is greater than or equal to a second reference angle (180°), and transmits the result to the interlock control logic (330), and the execution of the interlock and the blocking target operation are determined according to the determination result.
[0049] The interlock control logic (330) performs the role of blocking the operation of the power gate step by step by executing an interlock corresponding to the corresponding section based on the section determination result transmitted from the section determination logic (320). Specifically, when the angle of the step plate reaches the first section (175° or more), the opening and closing operation of the step plate is blocked, and when it reaches the second section (180° or more), the lifting operation of the gate body is additionally blocked, and the release of the blocked state is allowed only when a double approval condition is satisfied in which the switch for two-hand operation of the operation input unit and the wireless or wired remote control are operated simultaneously.
[0050] The emergency release logic (340) is an emergency release means having priority control authority that enables all driving functions of the power gate to be forcibly operated regardless of the blocking state by the interlock control logic (330) in the event of a malfunction or abnormality in the safety control system. The emergency release logic (340) receives an operation signal from a separately installed emergency release switch, nullifies the blocking signal of the interlock control logic (330), and outputs a driving permission signal directly to the driving control logic (310), thereby enabling normal operation of the power gate even in abnormal situations of the safety system.
[0051] The vehicle drive unit (400) is configured to include a step plate opening / closing drive unit (410) and a gate lifting drive unit (420), and executes the opening / closing operation of the step plate (110) and the lifting operation of the gate (120) according to an operation signal transmitted from the operation input unit (200), and blocks each drive operation in stages according to the control of the interlock control logic (330) of the control unit (300).
[0052] The step plate opening / closing drive unit (410) and the gate lifting drive unit (420) of the vehicle drive unit (400) can have their control signals blocked independently of each other, so that a step-by-step interlock corresponding to a first safety zone and a second safety zone, which are distinguished according to the rotation angle of the step plate (110), can be individually applied to each drive unit.
[0053] The step plate opening / closing drive unit (410) is a means for driving the opening and closing operation of the step plate (110) according to the operation signal of the operation input unit (200), and the control signal may be blocked by a first interlock executed by the interlock control logic (330) of the control unit (300). For example, if the section determination logic (320) determines that the rotation angle of the step plate (110) reaches 175° or more, which is the first threshold angle, based on the angle information transmitted from the opening angle detection unit (500), the interlock control logic (330) executes a first interlock that blocks the control signal for the step plate opening / closing drive unit (410) to stop the opening and closing operation of the step plate (110), thereby preventing the step plate (110) from opening excessively beyond the allowable range.
[0054] The gate lifting drive unit (420) is a means for driving the upward and downward movement of the gate (120) according to the operation signal of the operation input unit (200), and the control signal may be blocked by a second interlock according to the control of the interlock control logic (330) of the control unit (300). For example, if the section determination logic (320) determines that the rotation angle of the step plate (110) reaches 180° or more, which is the second threshold angle, the interlock control logic (330) executes a second interlock that further blocks the control signal for the gate lifting drive unit (420) to stop the upward and downward movement of the gate (120), thereby preventing serious safety accidents such as collision between structures, worker entrapment, and falls that may occur when the gate (120) operates while the step plate (110) is excessively opened to 180° or more.
[0055] The opening angle detection unit (500) is configured to include, for example, one or more of a rotation angle sensor, a potentiometer, an encoder, and a gyro sensor, and is installed near a hinge structure where the step plate (110) and the gate (120) are combined, so as to continuously measure the rotation angle of the step plate (110) and transmit the measured angle information to the control unit (300) in real time. For example, as shown in FIG. 3, the state in which the step plate (110) is vertically stored in the folded position can be measured as a reference (90°), and the state in which it is fully unfolded horizontally can be measured as 180°.
[0056] The interlock warning unit (600) outputs a warning signal corresponding to the type and stage of the interlock, respectively, when the first interlock or the second interlock of the control unit (300) is executed, thereby allowing the operator to immediately recognize the current blocking status. The interlock warning unit (600) may be configured to include one or more of a visual warning signal, such as an LED lamp or a warning light, an auditory warning signal, such as a buzzer or a warning sound, a tactile warning signal, such as a vibration generating device, and a warning message output through a display device or a communication device. It is preferable that the warning signal type, lighting pattern, sound pattern, or message content corresponding to the first interlock and the second interlock be set differently so that the operator can intuitively identify which stage of the interlock is currently executed. Through this, the operator can quickly identify the cause of the interlock and take appropriate measures, thereby simultaneously improving safety and work efficiency at the power gate operation site.
[0058] The processing flow of each function block described above may be performed by computer program instructions. Since these computer program instructions may be loaded into the processor of a general-purpose computer, a special-purpose computer, or other programmable data processing equipment, the instructions executed through the processor of the computer or other programmable data processing equipment create means for performing the functions described at each step. Since these computer program instructions may also be stored on a computer-accessible or computer-readable recording medium that can be directed toward the computer or other programmable data processing equipment to implement functions in a specific way, the instructions stored on the computer-accessible or computer-readable recording medium may also produce a manufactured item containing instruction means for performing the functions described at each step of the flowchart. Since the computer program instructions may also be loaded onto a computer or other programmable data processing equipment, the instructions that perform a series of operation steps on the computer or other programmable data processing equipment to create a computer-executable process may also provide steps for performing the functions described at each step of the flowchart.
[0059] Additionally, each step may represent a module, segment, or part of code containing one or more executable instructions for executing a specified logical function(s). Also, it should be noted that in some alternative embodiments, the functions mentioned in the steps may occur out of order. For example, two steps described in succession may actually be performed substantially simultaneously, or the steps may sometimes be performed in reverse order according to the corresponding function.
