Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] This clinic is about eyelash extension methods. Background Technology
[0002] Generally, eyelash extension is widely used as a method to emphasize the eye shape and enhance aesthetic effects by attaching artificial eyelashes (hereinafter referred to as "false eyelashes") to a subject's natural eyelashes (hereinafter referred to as "natural lashes"). Such eyelash extension can generally be performed by including the steps of softening the natural lashes and attaching the false eyelashes.
[0003] First, the practitioner arranges the natural hair and applies a softening agent to soften its matrix. The softening agent serves to soften the surface of the natural hair, preparing a condition for the attachment of the artificial hair. As the hair is arranged in a consistent direction during the softening process, the subsequent attachment of the artificial hair can be facilitated.
[0004] Once softening is complete, the practitioner can attach the artificial hair to the natural hair. Known attachment methods include adhesive bonding, heat fusion, and methods using clips or sewing.
[0005] When using adhesives, a method of applying a specialized liquid glue to the natural hair and then attaching the artificial hair has been widely used. However, existing adhesives had problems such as long drying times or causing damage to the natural hair during the curing process. In addition, some adhesives with strong chemical components had limitations, such as potentially irritating the scalp or causing hair loss with long-term use.
[0006] In the case of the heat fusion method, heat is applied to melt the hair adhesive resin for attachment, but this carries a high risk of damage to the natural hair due to exposure to high temperatures. Additionally, while attachment methods using clips or threads have the advantage of easy removal, they have the disadvantages of weak fixation and difficulty in achieving a natural appearance.
[0007] Accordingly, there has been a need for an attachment method that can minimize damage to the raw hair while securing faster curing speed and high adhesion compared to conventional methods.
[0008] Prior art related to the present invention is disclosed in Published Patent Application No. 10-2024-0150414. The problem to be solved
[0009] The present invention aims to solve the problems of the aforementioned conventional technology by providing an eyelash extension method that simultaneously secures a fast curing speed and high adhesive strength while minimizing damage to the scalp and natural hair.
[0010] However, the technical problems that the embodiments of the present invention aim to solve are not limited to the technical problems described above, and other technical problems may exist. means of solving the problem
[0011] As a technical means for achieving the above-mentioned technical problem, an eyelash extension method according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: softening the original hair; applying and removing an oxidizing agent to the original hair; and attaching a hair extension to the original hair, wherein the step of attaching the hair extension to the original hair may include the step of attaching the hair extension to the original hair using LED glue and irradiating LED light onto the attachment area. Effects of the invention
[0012] In the process of attaching artificial hair to natural hair using an LED light source, the adhesive hardens within a short period, thereby shortening treatment time and improving work efficiency. Furthermore, unlike thermal fusion methods that utilize high temperatures, this invention does not inflict thermal damage on the natural hair or scalp, thus minimizing hair damage and skin irritation. Moreover, the adhesive layer hardened by the LED light source ensures high adhesion and long-term retention, preventing the artificial hair from easily falling off and allowing it to remain stable even during daily activities or hair washing. [0019] This clinic is about eyelash extension methods.
[0020] First, an eyelash extension method according to one embodiment of the present invention (hereinafter referred to as the "present method") will be described.
[0021] The method includes a step (first step) of softening the original hair (9).
[0022] Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, the first step involves placing the eye rod (1) on the eyelid of a subject with closed eyes and fixing the eyelashes to the eye rod (1). Additionally, after fixing, a primary softening agent may be applied and softened.
[0023] For example, in the first step, the subject's lower eyelashes can be covered with an eye patch, and a softening rod or a general rod can be attached to the eyelid to secure the eyelashes to the rod. Additionally, after securing, a first softening agent can be applied and covered with plastic wrap.
[0024] The condensation can be performed for a first preset time (e.g., 15 minutes).
[0025] Additionally, the first step may remove at least a portion of the softening agent from the original hair (9) after a first preset time. Also, at this time, the softening rod may be removed.
[0026] Additionally, referring to FIGS. 1 and FIGS. 3, the present method includes a step (second step) of applying and removing an oxidizing agent to the original hair (9). In the second step, the oxidizing agent is applied, and after curing for a preset waiting time, the rod is removed and thoroughly removed so that no oxidizing agent remains. When performing the second step, a round rod suitable for the subject's eye shape can be attached to the eyelid, and the eyelashes can be fixed to the round rod.
[0027] Eyelashes can be permed by the first and second steps.
[0028] Additionally, referring to FIGS. 1 and FIGS. 4, the present method includes the step (step 3) of attaching a hair extension to the original hair (9) using LED glue and irradiating the attachment area with LED light.
[0029] In the third step, multiple hair extensions can be attached to each hair extension. In other words, hair extensions can be attached to at least some of the hair extensions, and multiple hair extensions can be attached to each hair extension.
[0030] For example, there may be two or more and four or fewer hairs. In other words, two or more and four or fewer hairs may be attached to each hair that is attached.
[0031] Additionally, referring to FIG. 5, the third step may include attaching a hair (Fig. 5, hair No. 1) to each of the inner corner hair (Fig. 5, left hair No. 2), outer corner hair (Fig. 5, right hair No. 2), and central hair among a plurality of original hairs.
[0032] In addition, among the multiple original hairs, among the original hairs located between the inner corner of the eye, the outer corner of the eye, and the central original hair, three original hairs located at the point that divides the interval between them into three equal parts (see Fig. 5, red original hair No. 5) may have a hair attached to each of them.
[0033] In other words, the inner corner hair, outer corner hair, and central hair can each serve as guide points, and the remaining hairs can be set based on the hairs acting as guide points to attach the artificial hairs. Additionally, for reference, the inner corner hair, outer corner hair, and central hair may each refer to the hair closest to the inner corner, the hair closest to the outer corner, and the hair located at the midpoint between the inner corner hair and the outer corner hair, respectively.
[0034] According to this, a procedure can be performed in which 2 to 4 artificial hairs are attached per original hair, with a fixed spacing and fixed position of the hair roots identified.
[0035] In addition, the third step involves attaching the lashes while considering the working area during the procedure, ensuring that the direction of the lash tips is consistent (symmetrical to the operator). Furthermore, depending on the eye shape, the length may be adjusted as it approaches the inner corner of the eye, or a uniform length may be used (reducing by 1 or 2 mm as it gets closer to the inner corner). Additionally, the procedure can be performed on the same lash line, and the thickness and length may be modified according to the needs of the operator and the customer.
[0036] Additionally, referring to Fig. 4, in the third step, a black eye patch can be placed on the eyelid to reduce eye fatigue caused by the lighting used during the LED procedure.
[0037] Additionally, referring to FIG. 4, when performing the method, gauze (8) may be provided under the subject's eyes. This is obvious to a person skilled in the art, so a detailed description is omitted.
[0038] As described above, the present clinic offers a procedure that combines eyelash perming and eyelash extensions. Unlike the widely known perm point procedure, this method involves extending the eyelashes using two or more artificial eyelashes at regular intervals after the eyelash perming procedure, and can be performed using LED glue instead of general glue.
[0039] Hereinafter, a light irradiation rod (hereinafter referred to as "this rod") (1) according to one embodiment of the present invention will be described. This rod can be applied to the above-described method. The method to which this rod is applied will be described in detail later in the eyelash extension method according to another embodiment of the present invention below.
[0040] This rod (1) is used in the eyelash extension process. In particular, this rod (1) can be used in the eyelash extension process using LED glue when attaching artificial hair to natural hair, and the LED glue, which is an adhesive, is cured using LED light, and the stability of the attached eyelash extension can be ensured.
[0041] Referring to FIG. 6, the rod (1) includes a base portion (12).
[0042] Additionally, referring to FIG. 6, the rod (1) includes a light irradiation guide (11) provided in front of the base portion (12). The light irradiation guide (11) can serve to efficiently transmit LED light and guide it to be irradiated onto the eyelash area of the subject undergoing the procedure.
[0043] Referring to FIGS. 6 and 7, the light irradiation guide (11) has a receiving portion formed in the longitudinal direction, and a through hole (111) is formed on one side in the longitudinal direction to communicate with the receiving portion and the outside. Additionally, the light irradiation guide (11) may be formed in a cylindrical shape. Additionally, the light irradiation guide (11) may be made of a light-transmitting member.
[0044] In addition, the rod (1) includes a light irradiation unit (19). The light irradiation unit (19) can irradiate LED light.
[0045] Additionally, at least a portion of the light irradiation unit (19) can be introduced into the receiving portion through the penetration hole (111).
[0046] That is, the light irradiation unit (19) can irradiate light within the receiving portion, and the light irradiated by the light irradiation unit (19) can be irradiated to the outside of the light irradiation guide portion (11) made of a light-transmitting member.
[0047] To this end, the light irradiation guide (11) may be configured to emit light to the outside when the light source, the light irradiation unit (19), emits light from within. To this end, the light irradiation guide (11) may be made of a material with excellent light transmittance, such as transparent polycarbonate, acrylic, or a silica-based material.
[0048] The light irradiation unit (19) includes an LED module and is configured so that the emitted LED light propagates along the inside of the receiving portion and is emitted to the outside through the light irradiation guide portion (11), which is a light-transmitting member. At this time, the light irradiation unit (19) may be positioned so that at least a portion is introduced into the inside of the receiving portion through the penetration hole (111).
[0049] That is, according to the structure of the present invention, light emitted from the light irradiation unit (19) propagates within the light irradiation guide part (11), is transmitted outward through the penetration hole (111), and is directly irradiated near the eyelashes of the subject of the procedure.
[0050] Additionally, referring to FIG. 8, the rod can be positioned such that the light irradiation guide part (11) is positioned closer to the subject's eyebrow than the base part (12) in the step of attaching the artificial hair to the subject's natural hair (9) for eyelash extension, so that light is irradiated to the part where attachment is made.
[0051] Specifically, when extending eyelashes, the subject's natural hair (9) can be attached using LED glue. At this time, to allow LED light to be irradiated onto the LED glue, refer to FIG. 4, the rod (1) is positioned on the eyelid of the subject with their eyes closed, and the light irradiation guide part (11) can be positioned closer to the subject's eyebrow (eyebrow root) than the base part (12).
[0052] In other words, referring to FIG. 8, during the eyelash extension process, the practitioner can place the rod (1) on the subject's eye, that is, on the eyelid with the eye closed. At this time, the base portion (12) is positioned relatively rearward, and the light irradiation guide portion (11) is designed to be positioned close to the subject's eyebrow.
[0053] In the eyelash extension process to which the present invention is applied, LED glue (photocurable adhesive) may be used to attach artificial hair (faux hair) to the original hair (9) (natural eyelash). At this time, if the LED glue is not sufficiently cured, the faux hair may fall off, but the present rod allows the LED light to be directly irradiated onto the LED glue, thereby enabling the adhesion to be firmly established in a short period of time.
[0054] That is, the rod (1) is attached to the eyelid while the subject's eyes are closed, and efficiently irradiates LED light through the light irradiation guide (11) located in front of it. As a result, the LED glue hardens quickly, the adhesion of the eyelash extension is strengthened, and the procedure time is shortened while ensuring stable procedure results.
[0055] Additionally, referring to FIG. 6, the base portion (12) may be provided to protrude further downward from the light irradiation guide portion (11). Accordingly, when the rod (1) is positioned on the subject's eyelid, the light irradiation guide portion (11) may be positioned spaced apart from the eyelid. Accordingly, the LED light can advance through the spaced gap between the eyelid and the light irradiation guide portion (11) and reach the eyelashes. Thus, light irradiation on the eyelashes can be performed efficiently.
[0056] Additionally, referring to FIG. 6, the light irradiation guide (11) may have a plurality of opaque members (112) formed on its outer surface at intervals along the longitudinal direction. The plurality of opaque members (112) may be formed by coating an opaque material on the outer surface of the light irradiation guide (11). Additionally, each of the plurality of opaque members (112) may be a linear member. Furthermore, each of the plurality of opaque members (112) may be formed to extend in the circumferential direction of the light irradiation guide (11). These opaque members (112) may be in the form of a strip.
[0057] Additionally, the opaque member (112) can guide attachment to the original hair (9) of the artificial hair.
[0058] For example, when attaching hair extensions, the hair extensions may be attached to some of the multiple original hairs (9), and an opaque member (112) can guide the practitioner so that the practitioner can easily identify the location where the hair extensions should be attached. For example, the practitioner may position at least one of the opaque member (112) so that it aligns with one of the multiple original hairs (9) (overlapping vertically), and attach the hair extensions based on the opaque member (112) that is aligned.
[0059] In other words, when performing eyelash extensions, the practitioner must attach the artificial lashes (artificial eyelashes) to the appropriate positions of the natural lashes (9). However, during this process, there are many natural lashes (9), and it may be difficult to clearly identify the position of each natural lash (9) with the naked eye. In particular, in an environment where LED light is irradiated, the practitioner's field of vision may be obstructed by reflected light or shadows. At this time, the opaque member (112) contributes to securing the practitioner's field of vision by forming a clear reference line.
[0060] In addition, a hair may be attached to a specific hair among the plurality of hairs (9) (e.g., hair No. 1 and hair No. 2 of FIG. 5), and the rod (1) may be arranged so that at least one of the specific hairs overlaps with the opaque member (112).
[0061] For example, the practitioner can adjust the position of the rod (1) so that one of the opaque members (112) overlaps exactly with the line of the subject's natural hair (9). That is, by using the opaque member (112) as a reference marker and attaching the artificial hair to the natural hair (9) that matches the reference line, the attachment position can be precisely adjusted. Through this, the practitioner can easily identify a specific natural hair (9) among a number of natural hairs (9) and improve the accuracy of the attachment.
[0062] Since light does not pass through the opaque member (112), the opaque member (112) can be clearly seen by the operator. Specifically, because the opaque member (112) blocks light itself, it creates a clear contrast with the light-transmitting area of the light irradiation guide part (11). That is, when LED light is irradiated, light passes through and shines in most areas of the guide part, but in the part where the opaque member (112) is located, light does not pass through, so it is clearly recognized from the outside as a dark line or band.
[0063] Due to this contrast effect, the opaque member (112) can be clearly distinguished in the operator's field of vision, and when the operator places the rod on the eyelid, the position of the original hair (9) can be quickly identified based on the line. Therefore, the operator can ensure the accuracy of the attachment alignment and, as a result, improve the quality of the procedure.
[0064] In addition, the opaque member (112) serves simply as a visual guide and is formed at regular intervals, thereby helping the practitioner to systematically adjust the density and spacing of the eyelash extensions. For example, the opaque member, which is repeatedly arranged at regular intervals, acts similarly to a scale, contributing to the practitioner extending the eyelashes in a uniform pattern.
[0065] The opaque member (112) can be formed on the outer surface of the light irradiation guide in various ways, such as ink coating, film attachment, double injection, or surface treatment, and the material may include one or more of a metal thin film, an opaque polymer, a carbon black coating, or an oxide-filled resin.
[0066] Additionally, referring to FIG. 9, the base portion (12) may be formed such that its upper surface is flat and its lower surface faces downward as it faces forward. This shape is not merely for aesthetic purposes, but is designed so that the base portion can stably contact and support the subject's eyelid and eyelash line during the actual eyelash extension process.
[0067] That is, since the upper surface is flat, it acts as a support that allows the eyelashes to lie down stably during the procedure, and the forward slanted structure of the lower surface harmonizes with the curvature of the eyelid to help the bone rod (1) be naturally fixed. As a result, the bone rod (1) does not shake or detach unnecessarily during the procedure, and provides a foundation for precise treatment.
[0068] Additionally, the rod (1) may be provided such that, in the step of softening the natural hair (9) of the subject of eyelash extension, the base portion (12) supports the subject's eyelash, as shown in FIG. 6, the base portion (12) is positioned closer to the subject's eyebrow (eyelash root) than the light irradiation guide portion (11). Also, at this time, the rod (1) may be positioned upside down so that the upper surface, which is the plane of the base portion (12), faces downward. Accordingly, in the step of softening the natural hair (9), the softening agent may be applied while the natural hair is positioned on the upper side of the rod (1).
[0069] Specifically, during the preparation process for eyelash extension, the practitioner can soften the eyelashes by applying a softening agent to the original hair (9). In this process, the base portion (12) of the rod (1) can be positioned closer to the subject's eyelash roots than the light irradiation guide portion (11). That is, if the light irradiation guide portion (11) was originally positioned close to the eyelashes during the light irradiation stage, the base portion (12) can be positioned closer to the eyelashes in the opposite direction during the softening stage.
[0070] In particular, at this time, the rod (1) can be placed upside down so that the upper surface faces downward. That is, the flat upper surface is positioned downward so that the softening agent is applied while the eyelashes are lying on it. By doing this, the softening agent can penetrate the eyelashes evenly, and the softening is performed while the eyelashes are arranged in a consistent direction without being dispersed. This can increase the precision of the subsequent hair extension attachment process and greatly improve the work efficiency of the operator.
[0071] Additionally, referring to FIG. 10, the rod (1) may include a cover (13) positioned on the upper side of the base portion (12) when the base portion (12) is positioned closer to the subject's eyebrow (eyebrow root) than the light irradiation guide portion (11) while the flat upper surface is facing downward during the step of softening the raw hair (9). The cover (13) may be a hydrophilic nonwoven fabric that can absorb the softening agent to prevent the softening agent from flowing down. Additionally, when the softening agent is absorbed, the raw hair (9) may adhere to the cover (13). For example, the cover (13) may be made of a material including rayon. Since hydrophilic nonwoven fabric is obvious to a person skilled in the art, a detailed description is omitted.
[0072] In other words, the cover (13) can be formed from a material including rayon, and preferably can be made of a hydrophilic nonwoven fabric. The hydrophilic nonwoven fabric has a porous structure and can rapidly absorb and retain the softening agent. Accordingly, it can prevent the softening agent from flowing down toward the eyelids or skin. By acting as an absorbent layer to maintain the softening agent consistently, the cover (13) can help ensure uniform softening throughout the entire hair (9). Additionally, when the eyelashes come into contact with the cover (13), the hair (9) can be gently adhered to the cover (13) due to the adhesive properties of the softening agent and the hydrophilic properties of the cover. Since the eyelashes are not scattered and remain aligned during this process, accurate positioning is possible during the subsequent hair attachment stage.
[0073] That is, the rod (1) can be applied in each of the steps of softening the original hair (9) and attaching the artificial hair to the original hair (9). The rod (1) is not only used as a light irradiation tool for curing LED glue, but can also be usefully used in the step of softening the original hair (9) (natural eyelashes).
[0074] In addition, the base part (1) may be made of an elastically deformable material (for example, it may be made of a material including one or more of silicone, rubber, etc.).
[0075] Additionally, referring to FIG. 6, the rod (1) may include a gas injection unit (18) for injecting gas into the base portion (1). The gas injection unit (18) may inhale gas within the base portion (1) or inject gas into the base portion (1). When the gas injection unit (18) injects gas into the base portion (1), the thickness of the base portion (1) may increase compared to before the gas injection, and when the gas injection unit (18) inhales gas within the base portion (1), the thickness of the base portion (1) may decrease compared to before the gas inhale. Various conventional gas injection and inhale devices may be applied to the gas injection unit (18).
[0076] In addition, the present invention provides a method for extending eyelashes using the aforementioned rod (1).
[0077] Hereinafter, an eyelash extension method according to another embodiment of the present invention (hereinafter referred to as "this other method") will be described. However, regarding the description of this other method, the same reference numerals will be used for configurations identical or similar to those described in the present method and this rod (1) examined above, and redundant descriptions will be simplified or omitted.
[0078] This other method includes a step (first step) of softening the original hair (9).
[0079] In the first step, the main rod (1) can be placed on the eyelid of a subject with closed eyes, and the eyelashes can be fixed to the main rod (1). Additionally, after fixing, a primary softening agent can be applied and softened. At this time, the main rod (1) can be placed upside down so that the upper surface, which is the flat surface of the base part (12), faces downward, and can be placed closer to the root of the eyelashes than the light irradiation guide part (11) so that the eyelashes are positioned on the base part (12). Additionally, a cover (13) can be placed on the base part (12).
[0080] The condensation can be performed for a first preset time (e.g., 15 minutes).
[0081] Additionally, the first step can remove at least a portion of the softening agent from the original hair (9) after a first preset time.
[0082] Additionally, this other method includes the step of applying and removing an oxidizing agent to the original hair (9) (step 2).
[0083] In the second step, the cover (13) used in the first step can be removed and another cover (13) placed on the base part (12). In other words, the cover (13) can be replaced. Afterward, an oxidizing agent can be applied to the raw hair (9), and the oxidizing agent can be removed after a second preset time (e.g., 7 minutes). The configuration and operation of the cover (13) in the second step may correspond to or be identical to the configuration and operation of the cover (13) in the first step.
[0084] In addition, the second step can adjust the thickness of the base part (12) using the gas injection part (18). This is because it is desirable for the shape of the base part (12) to change according to the eyebrow perm shape desired by the subject.
[0085] Eyelashes can be permed by the first and second steps.
[0086] Additionally, this other method includes the step of attaching a hair extension to the original hair (9) (step 3).
[0087] The third step involves positioning the rod (1) so that light irradiated through the rod (1) is irradiated onto the original hair (9), and attaching the artificial hair to the original hair (9) using LED glue.
[0088] At this time, the third step allows the rod (1) to be positioned so that the light irradiation guide part (11) is positioned closer to the subject's eyebrow than the base part (12). Additionally, it can be positioned upside down compared to the first and second steps.
[0089] In addition, at this time, since the light irradiation guide part (11) is provided with an opaque member (112), the original hair (9) can be overlapped on one of the plurality of opaque members (112), and after attaching the artificial hair to the overlapped original hair (9), the artificial hair can also be attached to the remaining original hair (9) based on the attached original hair (9).
[0090] In addition, the third step involves attaching the hairs while considering the working area during the procedure, ensuring that the direction of the hair tips is consistent (a direction symmetrical to the practitioner). Also, the number of artificial hairs attached to one strand of natural hair (9) can be at least 2 strands and no more than 4 strands. Additionally, depending on the shape of the eye, the length can be adjusted as it approaches the inner corner of the eye, or the same length can be used for the procedure (the length is reduced by 1 or 2 mm as it approaches the inner corner of the eye). Furthermore, the procedure can be performed on the same lash line, and the thickness and length can be changed according to the needs of the practitioner and the customer.
[0091] Additionally, referring to FIG. 4, when performing this other method, gauze (8) may be provided under the subject's eyes. This is obvious to a person skilled in the art, so a detailed description is omitted.
[0092] The foregoing description of the present invention is for illustrative purposes only, and those skilled in the art will understand that other specific forms can be easily modified without altering the technical concept or essential features of the present invention. Therefore, the embodiments described above should be understood as illustrative in all respects and not restrictive. For example, each component described as a single unit may be implemented in a distributed manner, and components described as distributed may likewise be implemented in a combined form.
[0093] The scope of the present invention is defined by the claims set forth below rather than by the detailed description above, and all modifications or variations derived from the meaning and scope of the claims and the concept of equivalents thereof should be interpreted as being included within the scope of the present invention.
