Abstract
Description
Technology Field
[0001] The present invention relates to a filter-fastening unit assembly and a filter fastening unit. Background Technology
[0002] Generally, a water purifier is a device designed to filter natural water, such as tap water or spring water, by filtering the raw water through various types of filters to remove harmful substances, such as foreign substances or heavy metals, that are detrimental to the human body.
[0003] The water purifier may be equipped with a pre-filter that filters out large particles and residual chlorine from the raw water, an RO filter that filters out foreign substances such as heavy metals, and a post-carbon filter that improves the taste of the water.
[0004] There are two methods for replacing these filters: one that directly connects a fitting to the filter's flow path, and another that uses a separate fastening unit for one-touch assembly. Among these, the method of directly connecting the fitting to the filter's flow path required tools for removal and was difficult for general users to replace.
[0005] In addition, among one-touch connection methods, there is a structure in which the filter and the main body of the connection unit rotate and are fixed, as described in Patent Document 1. This structure in which the main body of the connection unit rotates had the problem of having many types of parts and a complex flow path structure. Prior art literature

[0011] As another example, the housing may include a housing body in which the projection insertion groove is formed, a first extension portion extending from the first direction side of the insertion area, which is the area defining the projection insertion groove in the housing body, toward a protrusion direction which is the direction toward the filter projection in the upper and lower directions, and a second extension portion extending from the first extension portion in the direction opposite to the first direction.
[0012] As another example, when no external force is applied to the second extension part, the space formed between the second extension part and the insertion area is referred to as a separation space. The second extension part is provided to be bent relative to the first extension part, so that when an external force is applied toward the separation space, at least a portion of it can be positioned in the separation space.
[0013] As another example, the above-mentioned separation space may include a first separation space located on the side opposite to the first direction of the second extension part and extending vertically, and a second separation space located on the side opposite to the protrusion direction of the second extension part and connected to the first separation space.
[0014] As another example, the length of the end of the second extension portion opposite to the first direction along the vertical direction may be longer than the length of the end of the second extension portion in the first direction along the vertical direction.
[0015] As another example, a lever projection protruding toward the housing is formed at the end of the lever opposite to the first direction, and the housing may include a housing body and a lever projection guide groove formed in the housing body, which is open in the first direction and opposite direction and is provided to be inserted into the lever projection.
[0016] As another example, a rotation point, which is a point where the lever is rotatably connected to the base, may be formed on the first direction side of the lever projection.

[0020] As another example, the base may include a base body and a housing guide hole formed through the base body and extending along the vertical direction, and the housing may include a housing body and a housing guide projection protruding from the housing body toward the housing guide hole and disposed inside the housing guide hole.
[0021] As another example, the above inlet passage may be opened when the filter and the filter coupling part come into contact.
[0022] As another example, a communication hole is formed on the lower side of the above-mentioned inlet passage and is connected in an up-and-down direction, and the filter coupling part includes a valve member having a first region having a diameter smaller than the diameter of the communication hole so as to be disposed inside the communication hole, a second region having a diameter larger than the diameter of the communication hole located above the first region, and an elastic member that elastically supports the valve member downwards, and the filter may include a filter body; and a valve opening projection protruding upward from the filter body and arranged to press the lower end of the valve member upwards to open the communication hole closed by the second region.
[0023] As another example, the filter coupling portion includes an elastic member placement space in which the elastic member is disposed internally, and when viewed along the extension direction of the inflow path, the inflow path may not overlap with the elastic member placement space.
[0024] For example, a filter coupling unit may include a base having a base opening, a housing disposed in the base opening and connected to the base so as to be movable up and down and having a housing opening, a filter coupling part coupled to the upper side of the base and including an inlet passage for water to flow in and an outlet passage for water to flow out, and a lever rotatably connected to the base and rotatably connected to the housing, arranged to move the housing upward or downward when rotated relative to the base. Effects of the invention
[0025] According to the present invention, since the filter can be detached through a one-touch structure using a lever, assembly can be conveniently performed without a separate tool when detaching the filter, thereby improving work efficiency.
[0026] In addition, according to the present invention, the parts and flow path structure are formed simply so that the filter can be attached and detached using a lever without rotating the filter, thereby reducing product manufacturing costs. Brief explanation of the drawing

[0028] Hereinafter, some embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to exemplary drawings. It should be noted that in assigning reference numerals to the components of each drawing, the same components are given the same reference numeral whenever possible, even if they are shown in different drawings. Furthermore, in describing the embodiments of the present invention, if it is determined that a detailed description of related known components or functions would hinder understanding of the embodiments of the present invention, such detailed description is omitted.
[0029] In this specification, the front-back, left-right, and up-down directions are referred to for convenience of explanation and may be directions orthogonal to one another. However, these directions are determined relative to the direction in which the filter-fastening unit assembly is arranged, and the term "up-down direction" does not necessarily mean a vertical direction.
[0030] Furthermore, the term "Euro" as used below may refer to a pipe-shaped piping through which fluid can flow, and signifies a component that can have various materials and shapes, such as flexible tubes or metal pipes.
[0031] A filter-connection unit assembly according to one embodiment of the present invention may be an assembly of a filter connection unit and a filter (50). The filter connection unit may be a unit for connecting a filter (50) used in a water purifier.
[0032] First, the basic components of a filter-connection unit assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a filter-connection unit assembly according to an embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2 is an exploded view of FIG. 1.
[0033] A filter-fastening unit assembly according to one embodiment of the present invention may include a filter (50) and a filter fastening unit. The filter fastening unit may include a base (10), a housing (20), a filter coupling part (30), and a lever (40).
[0034] The base (10) may include a base opening (11). The base opening (11) may be opened in a first direction (D1), which is a direction orthogonal to the up and down direction.
[0035] The housing (20) can be placed in the base opening (11). The housing (20) can be connected to the base (10) so as to be movable up and down.
[0036] The housing (20) may include a housing opening (21) that opens toward a first direction (D1). A filter (50) may be placed in the housing opening (21).
[0037] The filter coupling part (30) can be coupled to the upper side of the base (10). The filter coupling part (30) may include an inlet passage (31) through which water flows in and an outlet passage (32) through which water flows out. Water flowing in through the inlet passage (31) passes through a filter (50) coupled to the filter coupling part (30) and is discharged through the outlet passage (32). In this process, the water passing through the filter (50) can be purified.
[0038] The lever (40) may be rotatably connected to the base (10) and may be rotatably connected to the housing (20). The lever (40) may move the housing (20) up and down relative to the base (10). The lever (40) may include a pressure area (43) and a connection area (44) that extends from the pressure area (43) in a direction across the direction in which the pressure area (43) extends and is connected to the base (10).
[0039] The filter (50) can be placed in the housing opening (21). The filter (50) may be, for example, an RO (Reverse Osmosis) filter, but is not limited thereto and may be various variations such as a hollow fiber membrane filter or a nano filter.
[0040] The filter (50) can move upward in conjunction with the upward movement of the housing (20) caused by the rotation of the lever (40) and be connected to the filter coupling part (30). Here, connection with the filter coupling part (30) may mean that the upper end of the filter (50) comes into contact with the filter coupling part (30). When connected to the filter coupling part (30), water flowing in through the inlet passage (31) flows into the filter (50) and the water can be purified.
[0041] Likewise, the filter (50) can be moved upward in conjunction with the upward movement of the housing (20) caused by the rotation of the lever (40) and separated from the filter coupling part (30). In this case, the filter (50) can be separated from the housing (20) to replace the filter (50).
[0042] According to the present invention, since the filter (50) can be attached and detached through a one-touch structure using a lever (40), the workability can be improved by allowing convenient assembly without a separate tool when attaching and detaching the filter (50).
[0043] In addition, according to the present invention, the parts and flow path structure are formed simply so that the filter (50) can be attached and detached using a lever (40) without rotating the filter (50), thereby reducing product production costs.
[0044] The detailed shapes of each part are described below.
[0045] <Base (10)-Housing (20) Connection Structure>
[0046] The base (10) may include a base body (12) and a housing guide hole (14). The housing guide hole (14) may be formed through the base body (12) and may extend along the vertical direction. The housing guide hole (14) may be provided in multiple numbers. For example, the housing guide hole (14) may be provided in an even number and arranged vertically spaced apart.
[0047] The housing (20) may include a housing body (22) and a housing guide projection (27) that protrudes from the housing body (22) toward the housing guide hole (14) and is disposed inside the housing guide hole (14). The housing guide projection (27) may have a number corresponding to the number of housing guide holes (14).
[0048] However, this is merely an example, and it is also possible for a protrusion to be formed on the base (10) and a hole to be formed in the housing (20), and in addition to this, various variations may be provided within a range where relative movement up and down is possible.
[0049] <Filter (50)-Housing (20) Connection Structure>
[0050] The filter (50) may include a filter body (51) and a filter projection (52). The filter body (51) may extend in an upward and downward direction. The filter projection (52) may protrude from the filter body (51) in at least one of a second direction (D2) and a third direction (D3). The second direction (D2) may be a direction orthogonal to the upward and downward direction and the first direction (D1). The third direction (D3) may be the opposite direction to the second direction (D2). The filter projection (52) may be a member for connecting the filter (50) and the housing (20) to each other.
[0051] The housing (20) may include a projection insertion groove (23). The projection insertion groove (23) may be formed in the housing body (22). The projection insertion groove (23) may be a groove that is opened toward a first direction (D1) and into which a filter projection (52) is inserted.
[0052] The housing (20) may further include a first extension part (24) and a second extension part (25). For convenience of explanation, an insertion area and a protrusion direction are defined. The insertion area may refer to an area of the housing body (22) that defines the protrusion insertion groove (23). The protrusion direction may refer to the direction toward the filter protrusion (52) among the up and down directions.
[0053] The first extension portion (24) may extend from the first direction (D1) side of the insertion area toward the protrusion direction. With reference to FIG. 1, the protrusion direction may be downward. The second extension portion (25) may extend from the first extension portion (24) toward the opposite direction of the first direction (D1). This can be understood as the first extension portion (24) and the second extension portion (25) being formed in an 'L' shape.
[0054] Due to the shape of the first extension part (24) and the second extension part (25), a gap space exists in relation to the insertion area. The gap space may refer to the space formed between the second extension part (25) and the insertion area when no external force is applied to the second extension part (25).
[0055] The separation space may include a first separation space and a second separation space. The first separation space may be located on the side opposite to the first direction (D1) of the second extension part (25) and may extend vertically. The second separation space may be located on the side opposite to the protrusion direction of the second extension part (25) and may be connected to the first separation space. This may mean that the shape of the separation space is also formed in an 'L' shape.
[0056] Meanwhile, the second extension part (25) is provided to be bent relative to the first extension part (24) so that at least a portion of it may be placed in the spaced-apart space when an external force is applied toward the spaced-apart space. This bending may include cases where the second extension part (25) itself has elasticity. This may be a structure intended to prevent the aforementioned filter protrusion (52) from coming out again after being inserted into the protrusion insertion groove (23).
[0057] Accordingly, within the range having the above effects, the first extension part (24) and the second extension part (25) may be capable of various modifications. For example, the second extension part (25) may be rotatably coupled to the first extension part (24). As another example, the first extension part (24) may be rotatably coupled to the insertion area.
[0058] The length of the end of the second extension part (25) opposite to the first direction (D1) along the vertical direction may be longer than the length of the end of the second extension part (25) opposite to the first direction (D1) along the vertical direction. For example, the end of the second extension part (25) opposite to the first direction (D1) may include a portion protruding toward the protruding direction. As another example, the second extension part (25) may have a shape that protrudes toward the protruding direction as it moves toward the side opposite to the first direction (D1).
[0059] Due to this shape, when the filter (50) is coupled to the housing (20), the filter protrusion (52) moves in the opposite direction of the first direction (D1), pushes the second extension part (25) in the opposite direction of the protrusion direction, and is placed in the protrusion insertion groove (23), after which the second extension part (25) is restored and can prevent the filter protrusion (52) from moving in the first direction (D1).
[0060] Specifically, when the filter (50) is coupled to the housing (20), the upper portion of the filter (50) is first passed through the space between the lever (40) and the housing (20). During this process, the filter projection (52) moves along the inlet end of the projection insertion groove (23). During this process, the filter projection (52) moves in the opposite direction of the first direction (D1), and after pushing the second extension portion (25) in the opposite direction of the protrusion direction, it can be placed in the projection insertion groove (23).
[0062] <Lever (40) - Housing (20) Connection Structure>
[0063] A lever projection (41) protruding toward the housing (20) may be formed at the opposite end of the first direction (D1) of the lever (40). The housing (20) may include a lever projection guide groove (26). The lever projection guide groove (26) may be formed in the housing body (22) and may be open in the first direction (D1) and the opposite direction. The lever projection (41) may be provided to be inserted into the lever projection guide groove (26).
[0064] Meanwhile, a rotation point (42), which is a point where the lever (40) is rotatably connected to the base (10), may be formed on the first direction (D1) side of the lever projection (41). Through this structure, the housing (20) can be moved upward or downward while the lever (40) rotates relative to the base (10), and in the process, the filter (50) can be connected to or disconnected from the filter coupling part (30).
[0065] The operation is described in detail with reference to the drawings. FIG. 3 is a perspective view showing the filter separated from the filter coupling part. FIG. 4 is a view of FIG. 3 from the second direction side. FIG. 5 is a view of FIG. 4 with the base removed. FIG. 6 is a view of FIG. 2 from the second direction side showing the filter moving to be connected to the filter coupling part (30). FIG. 7 is an enlarged view of FIG. 6 with the base removed. FIG. 8 is a perspective view showing the filter connected to the filter coupling part. FIG. 9 is a view of FIG. 8 from the second direction side. For reference, FIG. 3 to FIG. 9, parts of components that are obscured by other components or obscure other components are shown with dotted lines for convenience of explanation.
[0066] Basically, the state in which the filter (50) is separated from the filter coupling part (30) is illustrated in FIGS. 3 to 5. During this process, the operator presses the pressure area (43) of the lever (40) downward. When the pressure area (43) is pressed downward, the lever (40) rotates around the rotation point (42), so the lever projection (41) side moves upward. This movement of the lever projection (41) moves the housing (20) upward. During this process, the housing (20) moves only upward by means of the housing guide hole (14) and the housing guide projection (27), and since the lever projection (41) moves in a circle around the rotation point (42), it moves in the opposite direction of the first direction (D1) along the lever projection guide groove (26) during this process.
[0067] Meanwhile, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, when the lever projection (41) is positioned parallel to the rotation point (42) and the first direction (D1), it can be seen as a case where it has moved to the maximum extent in the opposite direction of the first direction (D1). Subsequently, the lever projection (41) moves upward while simultaneously moving along the lever projection guide groove (26) in the first direction (D1).
[0068] The case where the rotation of the lever (40) is completed is illustrated in FIGS. 8 and 9. In this case, the filter (50) is connected to the filter coupling part (30).
[0069] Meanwhile, in such cases, if an upward force is applied to the lever (40), the connection between the filter (50) and the filter coupling part (30) may be separated. Below, a structure is described in detail that can maintain the connection between the filter (50) and the filter coupling part (30) even if some upward force is applied to the lever (40) after the connection between the filter (50) and the filter coupling part (30) is completed.
[0070] <Filter (50)-Filter coupling part (30) connection maintenance structure 1>
[0071] The base (10) may include a through hole (13) formed in the base body (12) and penetrating along a second direction (D2). The lever (40) may further include a locking member (46). The locking member (46) may be snap-fit coupled to the through hole (13). Specifically, the locking member (46) may be snap-fit coupled to the through hole (13) when the lever (40) is rotated relative to the base (10) such that the lever projection (41) is positioned at the uppermost position of the range of movement. As the locking member (46) is snap-fit coupled to the through hole (13), even if some upward force is applied to the lever (40), the lever (40) and the base (10) are connected to each other, so the lever (40) does not rotate, and the connection between the filter (50) and the filter coupling part (30) can be maintained.
[0072] Noise prevention structure
[0073] FIG. 10 is a cross-sectional view when the filter (50) and the filter coupling part (30) are connected. FIG. 11 is a cross-sectional view when the filter (50) and the filter coupling part (30) are separated. A filter-coupling unit assembly according to one embodiment of the present invention may have the effect of reducing noise generation during water flow. Below, a structure for preventing noise generation will be described in detail with reference to FIG. 10 and FIG. 11.
[0074] The inlet passage (31) can be opened when the filter (50) and the filter coupling part (30) come into contact. As an example
[0075] A communication hole (33) that communicates in the vertical direction may be formed on the lower side of the inlet passage (31). The communication hole (33) may be a hole for introducing water introduced through the inlet passage (31) into the filter (50).
[0076] The filter coupling part (30) may include a valve member (34) and an elastic member (35).
[0077] The valve member (34) may include a first region (34a) and a second region (34b). The first region (34a) may be a region having a diameter smaller than the diameter of the communication hole (33) so as to be placed inside the communication hole (33). The second region (34b) may be a region located above the first region (34a) and having a diameter larger than the diameter of the communication hole (33). A sealing member, such as an O-ring, may be placed below the second region (34b). When the second region (34b) covers the communication hole (33) from above, water flowing into the inlet passage (31) is prevented from flowing into the communication hole (33).
[0078] The elastic member (35) can elastically support the valve member (34) downward. For example, the elastic member (35) may be a spring. For example, the elastic member (35) may press the second region (34b) downward. Since the elastic member (35) presses the second region (34b) downward, the second region (34b) covers the communication hole (33) from the upper side. Therefore, in this case, water flowing into the inlet passage (31) cannot flow into the communication hole (33).
[0079] Meanwhile, the filter (50) may include a valve opening projection (54). The valve opening projection (54) may protrude upward from the filter body (51). The valve opening projection (54) may be configured to press the lower end of the valve member (34) upward to open the communication hole (33) closed by the second region (34b). This can be understood as a process of transitioning from the state of FIG. 11 to the state of FIG. 10.
[0080] Meanwhile, the filter coupling portion (30) may include an elastic member placement space in which an elastic member (35) is placed inside. When viewed along the extension direction of the inflow path (31), the inflow path (31) may not overlap with the elastic member placement space.
[0081] For example, one can consider a configuration in which an elastic member is placed within the inlet channel but is positioned parallel to the extension direction of the inlet channel, so that the space for placing the elastic member and the inlet channel (31) overlap. In this case, when water flows through, the elastic member (35) is pressurized by the water, so noise caused by vibration, etc., may occur.
[0082] According to the present invention, since the elastic member placement space in which the elastic member (35) supporting the valve member (34) is placed does not overlap with the inflow path (31), vibration caused by the shaking of the elastic member (35) during water flow is reduced, thereby reducing noise generation.
[0083] Meanwhile, when the elastic member (35) presses the valve member (34) downward in this manner, the valve member (34) presses the valve opening projection (54) downward, thereby separating the connection between the filter (50) and the filter coupling part (30). Below, a structure that prevents the separation of the connection between the filter (50) and the filter coupling part (30) by the valve member (34) will be described in detail.
[0084] <Filter (50)-Filter coupling part (30) connection maintenance structure 2>
[0085] The filter (50) may include a lever catch jaw (53). The lever catch jaw (53) may protrude in a first direction (D1) from the filter body (51). The lever (40) may include a catch jaw insertion opening (45). The catch jaw insertion opening (45) may be opened upward so that the lever catch jaw (53) is positioned inside when the lever (40) is rotated relative to the base (10) such that the lever projection (41) is positioned at the top of the range of motion. This may mean that the area of the lever (40) defining the catch jaw insertion opening (45), as shown in FIG. 8, supports the lever catch jaw (53) upward. Therefore, even if the valve member (34) presses each valve opening projection (54) downward, the area of the lever (40) defining the locking jaw insertion opening (45) supports the lever locking jaw (53) upward, so the connection between the filter (50) and the filter coupling part (30) can be maintained.
