Description

Technology Field

[0001] The present invention relates to a window system equipped with a solar panel. Background Technology

[0002] Recently, technological development for eco-friendly energy that generates electricity using solar panels has been continuously progressing.

[0003] Generally, solar panels are opaque as silicon cells completely block light, but recently, transparent solar panels or building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) that can generate electricity while allowing light to pass through are being developed.

[0004] Transmissive solar panels are implemented by arranging opaque solar cells in a matrix form with gaps and finishing the front and back with glass, and are being developed in the form of thin-film solar cells that form a very thin semiconductor layer on the glass and transparent organic solar cells that absorb only specific wavelengths (ultraviolet or infrared) to generate electricity and pass visible light through.

[0005] Such transparent solar panels can be applied to building windows and curtain walls, greenhouses, sound barriers, or canopies.

[0006] Registered Patent 10-1707473, a solar power generation device integrated with a balcony window (registration date February 10, 2017), relates to a solar power generation device integrated with a balcony window. Registered Patent 10-1707473 discloses a technology in which a solar cell panel is installed on the outside of a balcony window in a way that allows it to open and close, thereby supplying sufficient alternative power to each household of a multi-unit dwelling while also allowing ventilation by opening the balcony window.

[0007] In particular, registered patent 10-1707473 discloses a technology that allows the balcony window and the solar cell panel to be opened and closed safely without colliding with each other by opening and closing the balcony window and the solar cell panel individually or simultaneously depending on the situation.

[0008] However, registered patent 10-1707473 has a very complex structure and is difficult to apply to general sliding windows, as it involves rotating the solar cell panel while the balcony window and the solar cell panel are placed in an overlapping state.

[0009] Meanwhile, if a transparent solar panel is attached to a sliding window that opens and closes by sliding left and right, deviating from this structure, there is a problem in that it is difficult to transmit the electricity generated from the transparent solar panel to the outside. [0056] The first car body (234) is formed by processing a metal plate, which is a conductive material, into a box shape with a portion open, and the first roller (232) is rotatably coupled to the first car body (234) via a shaft (233), which is a conductive material. A portion of the first roller (232) protrudes from the first car body (234) so as to be electrically connected to a conductive wire (130).

[0057] In one embodiment of the present invention, the first car body (234), the shaft (233), and the first roller (232) are all made of a conductive material, and electricity applied to the first car body (234) is applied to the first roller (232) and the conductive wire (130) through the shaft (233).

[0058] Meanwhile, since the window frame (210) to which the first car (230) is attached is made of a conductive material, the body (234) of the first car is wrapped and insulated by the first insulating member (236) to prevent the first car (230) and the window frame (210) from short-circuiting each other.

[0059] The first insulating member (236) may include a synthetic resin material with high electrical resistance, and the first insulating member (236) covers the outer surface of the first car body (234) to prevent a short circuit between the first car body (234) and the window frame (210).

[0060] Referring again to FIGS. 3 and FIGS. 5, the second car (240) includes a second roller (242), a storage arm (244), a second car body (246), a second insulating member (248), and an elastic member (249).

[0064] The second car body (246) can be formed by bending a metal plate made of a conductive material, and a storage arm (244) is connected to a part of the second car body (246) via an axis. Accordingly, the storage arm (244) can rotate clockwise or counterclockwise relative to the second car body (246).

[0065] In one embodiment of the present invention, the window assembly (200) can be connected to or separated from the window frame assembly (100) by rotatably connecting a storage arm (244), to which a second roller (242) is connected to the second car body (246), and additionally, the second roller (242) is always electrically connected to the conductive wire (130).

[0066] The second insulating member (248) wraps around the second car body (246) to prevent the second car body (246) and the window frame (210) from being electrically short-circuited to each other. The second insulating member (248) may be made of, for example, a synthetic resin material with high electrical resistance.

[0067] The elastic member (249) is positioned between the storage arm (244) and the second car body (246) so that the storage arm (244) moves toward the conductive wire (130), thereby ensuring that the second roller (242) always remains electrically connected to the conductive wire (130).

[0068] Referring to FIGS. 2 to 5, a solar panel (300) that generates electricity by solar energy can be attached to a glass window (220) of a window assembly (200).

[0069] The solar panel (300) includes an output terminal (310) that outputs electricity produced by sunlight.

[0070] Meanwhile, electricity produced from the solar panel (300) is applied to the conductive wire (130) through the roller (230, 240) and is drawn out to the outside of the window system through the conductive wire (130) and the output interface (not shown).

[0071] The authorization unit (400) supplies electricity produced from the solar panel (300) to the wheel (230, 240).

[0072] In one embodiment of the present invention, the power supply unit (400) includes a power output line (410) which is electrically connected at one end to the output terminal (310) of the solar panel (300) and electrically connected at the other end to the first and second rollers (232, 242) of the roller car (230, 240).

[0073] The other end of the power output line (410) is electrically connected to the first and second car bodies (234, 246) by means of a hole formed in the first and second insulating members (236, 248) of the first and second car bodies (230, 240) and exposing the first and second car bodies (234, 246).

[0074] In one embodiment of the present invention, the negative electrode of the solar panel (300) may be electrically connected to the first car (230) positioned at the bottom of the window frame (210), and the positive electrode of the solar panel (300) may be electrically connected to the second car (240) positioned at the top of the window frame (210).

[0075] Looking at the operation method, electricity produced from the solar panel (300) is applied to the first car (230) and the second car (240) connected to the window frame (210) through the application unit (400), and the electricity applied to the first and second cars (230, 240) can be applied to the outside of the window system through the conductive wire (130).

[0076] According to this method of operation, the window assembly (200) can continuously draw out the generated electricity to the outside even when it is in a closed state, open state, or during the opening and closing operation relative to the window frame assembly (100).

[0077] As explained in detail above, the window system equipped with a solar panel has the effect of being able to transmit electricity generated from the transparent solar panel to the outside regardless of the position and arrangement of the sliding window or even while the sliding window is being opened and closed, by mounting a transparent solar panel on a sliding window that opens and closes by sliding left and right.

[0078] Meanwhile, the embodiments disclosed in this drawing are merely specific examples provided to aid understanding and are not intended to limit the scope of the invention. It is obvious to those skilled in the art that other variations based on the technical concept of the invention are possible in addition to the embodiments disclosed herein.
